Have you ever felt like King Asa? Are you up against a circumstance that is too big for you to handle? Notice that the very first thing Asa does is to recognize the unique ability of God to help. The second thing Asa did was, He prayed, he knew his God was able to handle the enemy no matter how powerful they may be. We are powerless, but Jesus is all powerful.

Father, thank You that I can come to You anytime. There is nothing too big or too hard for You. Thank You Jesus, that You are my God, and You are a very present help in times of trouble. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Indeed, prayer is one of the best ways to honor God. The heavenly Father longs for an intimate relationship with His children. Time spent in communication with Him is the best way to develop that closeness.”
