Jesus Christ rejected at Nazareth
The people there doubted Jesus Christ, therefore He performed miracles elsewhere. Today, people still doubt Him and wonder why they feel like something's missing. It's a fall from God's grace.
The fall of humanity started in the Garden of Eden when the enemy, in the form of a serpent said "Did God really say...?" How does the enemy tempt you into straying from your straight path towards God?
1. The enemy questions God's Word
Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”
—‭Genesis 3:1
and he tests you if you know God's Word.
2. The enemy contradicts the God's Word
⁴ Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.”
—‭Genesis 3:4
and you, with your lack of faith, might start to doubt the Word.
3. The enemy gives you a false sense of power on your own, outside of God's Word and authority;
“For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
—‭Genesis 3:5, The Temptation and Fall of Man
convincing you that life is better if you do not listen to God.
If you are not firmly rooted in the Word of God, you will allow room for the enemy to come in. If you are not familiar with God's Word, you will believe anything the enemy that lives in this world says, leading you to disobey God.
Increase your faith in God by living a prayerful life; and by reading and meditating daily on God's Word. Walk in Christ-likeness, reflecting His light and love to the world. Let the fruits of everything you say, pray and do, be reaped in God's time, according to your faith.

I start with the truism that each Christian’s prayer life, like every good marriage, has in it common factors about which one can generalize and also uniquenesses which no other Christian’s prayer life will quite match. You are you, and I am I, and we must each find our own way with God, and there is no recipe for prayer that can work for us like a handyman’s do-it-yourself manual or a cookery book, where the claim is that if you follow the instructions you can’t go wrong.
Praying is not like carpentry or cookery; it is the active exercise of a personal relationship, a kind of friendship, with the living God and his Son Jesus Christ, and the way it goes is more under divine control than under ours. Books on praying, like marriage manuals, are not to be treated with slavish superstition, as if perfection of technique is the answer to all difficulties; their purpose, rather, is to suggest things to try.
But as in other close relationships, so in prayer: you have to find out by trial and error what is right for you, and you learn to pray by praying. Some of us talk more, others less; some are constantly vocal, others cultivate silence before God as their way of adoration; some slip into glossolalia, others make a point of not slipping into it; yet we may all be praying as God means us to do. The only rules are, stay within biblical guidelines and within those guidelines, as John Chapman puts it, “pray as you can and don’t try to pray as you can’t.” J.I Packer

April 10, 2024 - Exhortation
Luke 5:16 - "...Jesus often withdrew to lonely places to pray."
Many want the spiritually intoxicating new wine God is pouring out in this hour, but to hold that new wine, you must have new wineskins. You cannot keep doing the same thing and expect different results.
There is more prayer on Earth today than ever, yet most of it is temporal prayer for everyday things. What if, instead of praying for things you started praying the Psalms?
The Psalms are unique in that they contain many other books of the Bible, including God's dealings with men, God speaking to men, God conveying truth to men, and men speaking back to God.
If you will pray and meditate daily in the Psalms and let God's Word get in your heart, this will open a whole new gateway of encounters with the Lord, and you will become like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bring forth fruit in their season.

For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.

No matter how big, or small, the Lord is always listening to your prayers!
As I’m nearing the end of pregnancy, I’d found myself tossing and turning a lot the past few nights. Some nights not sleeping at all 😅
Personally, I know it comes with the territory, so it wasn’t the end of the world. I did notice, however, how it was effecting my homemaking.
So in the middle of random conversations I was having with my husband last night, I prayed to God that He give me peace and rest so that I can wake up before 3 in the afternoon, and have the strength and energy to enjoy more of my day.
We went right back to talking about other things like I hadn’t just done that 🤣
But God, I fell asleep last night at about 3 am, & woke up this morning at 11 am (that’s a *major* accomplishment for pregnant me 💀)
I’m writing about this as I make our grocery list to tell you that He absolutely listens.
So just pray. Even when it feels silly or excessive 🤍

"You should not think that because you worked exceptionally hard today you should reduce your prayer on account of bodily exhaustion. For however greatly you exert yourself in performing your duties, you should be aware that you have lost something of great value if you deprive yourself of prayer."

January 14, 2024 - Exhortation
“Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ.” – Acts 3:6
His presence is in your midst; keep your eyes on Him. He is outside of time. He brings resources into time for His Kingdom to be established through your Christ calling and your needs to be met as you go about His business. Look to His Word and overcome negative mindsets and worldly narratives – the spirit of lack, doubt, and unbelief.
The ascended life – living from Heaven – dwelling in that sense of His presence and living from there releases revelation into your life. Feel His cross – feel His blood – It is real. It is You must have spiritual hunger, a strong prayer life, as well as time affirming and meditating on the Word to have the Holy Spirit move you into higher and more efficient states of mind.
In Him, we move and live and have our being, with our eyes focused on Him – ears alert to His voice. He leads us in the way everlasting and brings forth, fruit that remains through our Christ calling that He ordained for us to walk in.
