I think I start languages for stupid reasons. I started French bc I didn't wanna do Spanish and it was the only other language my dad ever took. I started Japanese (as an adult, childhood was different) on the off chance that I meet Ruto/get to talk to him I can do it in his native language, and I started Chinese for the same reason for Hao. okay so please tell me all about your svt lore conspiracy theories because i'm sooo curious!!!

I think svt lore might be about their fear of growing up, or about the fear of them separating and being unable to find each other again. "Darling" mv is the moment of their youth when they're together as a group, but then at the end, they fall from this idillic place and end up in a parallel universe (???). In this alternative world (which is "fml" mv) they all have ordinary jobs because, since they're not together, seventeen doesn't exist. But then they decide to take action and to fight for their life and escape in order to find each other again (maybe something/someone was trying to keep them apart?? And they couldn't remember their lives before the fall but then suddenly they remember ??).

So....i don't really know if "Ima" mv comes after fml, like after they found each other at the end of fml they spent all their lives together until the end of the world, or if Ima mv is a parallel story, maybe another alternative universe they fell into.

My theory is really messy ahaha but i'm currently trying to get my degree and i'm soooooo burnt out, so thinking about svt it's my only way to stay sane. When i'll finally be finished with my studies i'm gonna elaborate my theory better .

Klara Blix, formerly known as JIAH, was the second Venus member to debut solo after Baebi. Her image would greatly differ from that of her groupmates, taking on a much sweeter and teen-friendly image since she was just a teen herself. Debuting in August 2018 at just seventeen, her debut single album "Why, Why, Why?" would become an instant classic and beloved "confession" anthem among young girls. Klara's brand ranking would skyrocket, and she was dubbed "Korea's Favorite Foreigner" on every variety show she appeared on.

"For Girls" was the first mini album released by Klara in August of 2019. The title track, "Good Luck, Hun." was an excellent demonstration of Klara's vocal ability and cuteness. The song would not only be popular with her typical audiences but older audiences as well, specifically older women. Her first fansign held for this album would go viral for being filled with a majority of girls and old ladies. Good Luck, Hun would top multiple charts in not only Korea but in Japan as well, resulting in a Japanese version of Good Luck, Hun and Why, Why, Why?

Deciding to take her in a more vocal-focused and mature concept that wasn't even that mature, Klara would come back with her 2nd Single, "Moon, Sun, Stars," in June of 2019. While this song did not flop by any means, it was not popular amongst fans because of the concept change. A common phrase asked by netizens during this time was, "Where did Korea's little sister go?" despite Klara still being her cute self. Due to the poor reception and poor costume choices, this era would not be remembered fondly by Klara and is often forgotten by netizens.

After a four-year hiatus from solo music, Klara would finally return in May of 2023 with the adorable single "Teddy Bear!" which would catch the hearts of a new generation of young girls. Klara was clearly marketed as an idol for a younger audience, a role model, and even a Disney Star, but only on the weekends. Teddy Bear! would garner international attention for its viral dance challenge, which was done by virtually anyone with access to social media, putting Klara back on the map musically, though she never really left. It was clear Klara had a great time promoting Teddy Bear! and even went on her first solo tour of Asia, traveling to Japan, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and the Phillippines. This would mark her most successful era since "For Girls."

Her most recent comeback would be in November of 2023 with the single "Like That," which wasn't even meant to be an actual promoted release but instead a gift to fans for giving her such a lovely tour. The fans would be very vocal about wanting at least ONE stage for the single, which, after much convincing, Klara would deliver. However, one stage turned into five and would later become a full-on promotional cycle. Like That would become a staple in her discography, many constellations asking her to perform the song to this day despite her saying, "It's a concert exclusive!". This era, though short, is very beloved by fans due to how connected she was with them. Towards the end of this era, Klara would announce she would be taking a hiatus from solo releases, wanting to focus on Venus and her acting career.

She has fifteen music show wins to her name. More than half of them being won by Why, Why, Why? and Good Luck, Hun.

During her performances of Why, Why, Why? Her background dancers would often rotate between DeepDive members, resulting in a lot of cute interactions and starting the groups public friendship. Fans favorite "Why, Why, Why?" boys would be Kiwoo, Finn, and Woojin. This would even result in a special stage where Klara and Kiwoo would perform a duet version of Why, Why, Why?

At Klara's first fansign, there was a photobooth where attendees could take pictures with her. Klara would put some of the pictures on her wall and they can still be seen in the background of her lives to this day.

Often, Klara would perform at retirement homes and still does to this day. Many videos of her have gone viral for dancing with the grandma and grandpas there. She says visiting old people is one of her favorite things to do because they all treat her like she's their granddaughter.

When asked if she wanted to try a more "mature" concept during the press release for Teddy Bear!, Klara immediately shook her head. "Last time I did that, I stopped making music for four years. I don't want to try that again. I like being successful and cute."

During Teddy Bear! Promotions, a picture taken by staff of a long line of idols wanting to film a TikTok with Klara was posted by staff with the caption "She's such a legend ㅋㅋㅋ," which would become a meme between constellations.

Everything went to hell for a while.

March brought the shutdown of New York. Covid-19 was running rampant across the entire world. You didn’t know what to make of it. Though your job didn’t lay you off, you were working one-hundred percent from home. It was killing you, months of staring at the same walls, trying to navigate the unknown of the world around you to survive. Many days held anxiety for your loved ones, worried for their wellbeing, their soulmates. Being in one of the epicenters of the breakout, you took care to self-isolate and keep inside as much as possible.

It was hard, but over the years, your mental health got better, you spoke with your friends, your family, and started making more friends here in the city. You had moved up in the past three years at your job, you had an amazing team behind you that was open minded and ready to work unlike many of the other coworkers you’ve dealt with in the past. You made the comment of being alone but never lonely.

“Mimi, you really should just let me have groceries delivered to your house, I can afford it if it’s too much for you.” You sighed into the phone, laying back on your couch. “Or let me reach out to Jay and have her help you since she is in town.” 

“ Sweetie, you know I don’t really mind going out, I need it! I might be old but your grandfather and I are healthy, we are letting the soulbond do its magic.” Mimi laughed, moving something around in the background. She huffed and more rustling was heard. “ I’m taking precautions; masks, washing my hands, and I’m taking those damned vitamins you sent us every day – which is annoying as hell by the way. And your grandfather is being a peach fixing all the little problems we’ve had in this house for years now.” 

Shaking her head, you blankly stared at the ceiling before rolling your eyes. “Just don’t do anything reckless. I have Jay keeping an eye on you and I can get the neighbors to-” 

“ Goodbye Y/N, I love you. Don’t pester me-” And she hung up on you.

Not long after your abruptly ended call, a video call came in, one from your coworkers turned close friend, James, or Jamie as you call him. He has been calling you nearly every day since he was bored at home since his boyfriend, who worked in the Japanese business aspect of the company, was across the country with his family. Swiping your finger across the screen, you were met with a similar sight to yourself, Jamie laying back with his phone above his head. 

“Babes, listen up, I have the best announcement of the year.” You scoffed but said nothing in protest. “Seventeen is having a comeback next month.”

Ah yes, that was a recent development. For about a year now you have fallen into the trap of Kpop – thanks to Jamie. Seventeen was the first group he introduced you to when you noticed a guy as his background, who you thought was his boyfriend at first. Turned out to be a member named Mingyu, who you jokingly called Big Sexy once while drinking, and his boyfriend’s – well, soulmate – Kazuk ‘bias’ as they called it, was Jeonghan. 

“Didn’t they just release Fallin’ Flower a little over a month ago?” 

“Yes and? Moving on, we need to start saving money for when they have another world tour since we didn’t go to the one before the pandemic.” 

“You won’t take no for an answer?”

“Never, you have accepted yourself into this hole and I’m going to drag you in every way I possibly can.” At that, you laughed now, letting a snort out at the foolishness. Jamie only grinned and wiggled his eyebrows. “And you can see your favorite, most handsome bias in the whole world live, Scoups~” 

“That isn’t so unappealing…” You sat up from your lying position and shook your head. “If we work hard and can get everything done from now until then without an issue, how about I treat us to it. Deal?” 

“Deal, boss lady.” 

Jamie laughed now, jumping up and off his bed as he paced energetically about his apartment. “You better start saving your money because I’m going to knock this shit out of the ballpark. Do you understand me? I’ll hold this bet over your head now!” 

The sudden shift in languages wasn’t uncommon now. You had finished your linguistics degree, having proficiency in four languages, and were currently in the processes of your Masters in business and international relations. It only reminded you of when Jamie first introduced you to Kpop the year prior. 

“Wait wait wait, you speak, read, breathe Korean in your job, you literally deal with international business from there and you don’t know Kpop?” He had asked, eyes wide and disbelief across his face. 

“I hate to tell you this Jamie, I’ve been living under a rock trying to keep my head above the water and moving up in my job. It isn’t like I had a lot of free time between that and finishing my first degree.” You replied as you typed away on the computer at your office desk. “Plus, I’ve listened to kpop, just never dove deep into all the fandom and group mumbo-jumbo.”

“ I don’t doubt that at all my dear friend.” Something Jamie liked to joke about was that your voice became softer each time you spoke in Korean, Japanese as well. “ But don’t just be working hard for a concert, understand? If your performance drops after, I can and will fire you as your boss.” 

“Oh because you would totally want to fire me, basically secretary and best friend.” Sarcasm bled into his words. “ You wouldn’t have a piece of entertainment in that boring off all day when we go back in the building or in your quiet studio apartment if i never called you so often. ”

Thinking back at those memories never failed to bring warmth to your chest. Jamie’s relationship with Kazuki, or just Kazu as he liked to be called, had given you some hope of the relationship you hope to have with your soulmate; communication, love, support, and understanding. From what you can tell, your soulmate wasn’t someone from your country, you’ve had many sleepless nights because of their sleep schedule being opposite of your own. 

Many of those nights you wondered what kind of person they were, what they did for a living, so much more, but you didn’t ponder too much. You held hope for yourself and your soulbond unlike your parents did. Those same nights you looked down at the countdown on your wrist, feeling whatever emotion they were experiencing, and wondered what that day will bring when you meet them. 

“I don’t even feel sick but we have to be holed up in our rooms for two weeks.” Seungkwan complained in their zoom call ‘schedule’ before they were recording. “ It just sucks we can’t do the stages and see Carats.” The pout was permanent on his expression currently. 

“ Yah, just be grateful we aren’t feeling sick like millions of others in the world.” Mingyu rolls his eyes, leaning back in his desk chair. 

“ Mingyu-hyung, you know I don’t mean it like that!” 

“Both of you, quiet. Let’s just get through this and pray the next two weeks go quickly so we can move on from this.” Joshua sighed, adjusting his laptop for a better view of himself once the recording started. 

Getting Covid right after the release of a new mini album wasn’t the worst thing so far. Or at least that’s what Jihoon told himself. Well, aside from the fact that he didn’t have much of his recording equipment…or a palace where he can work out properly…and all he really could do was watch anime. That wasn’t so bad.  There were plenty of new anime that were released or some that were getting another season. 

That began the longest two weeks of his life. Boredom was the overarching feeling. While he was a homebody (or studio-body as everyone liked to say for him), he hated the feeling of being locked up and unable to do anything. Jihoon had started a workout routine with the items he found around his room or calisthenics. He had taken to sleeping the majority of the days and while on a normal schedule, that would be fine for a day off, but after his third nap of the day and still days on end to go, he resorted to reading tweets, instagram posts, and more entertainingly, Tik Toks. 

Carats, despite Seventeen’s inability to perform for them, were great at entertaining themselves. Edits, assumptions, and just overall weird or funny tweets were simple joys they could pursue. In his mindless state, he began sending them into the groupchat the thirteen of them had. Jokes were exchanged regarding Jihoon of all people sending Seventeen memes into the chat, but not long after, a few others joined in on the antics. It was better than them watching netflix in bed, now it was just social media flipping before going back to netflix. So amusing. 

While Jihoon was glad his members, his staff, and himself were safe and only had mild symptoms for a few, he held immense relief that his soulmate was alright. There were some days over the past few months that he had anxiety bubble up in his chest at random times, how sometimes he had felt their worry but it didn’t last long from you.

It was funny how you had such a vast bank of emotions. While he did have many emotions, his own didn’t seem as deep as yours. While he worried, you had fear or anxiety pocketed with it. While he had excitement for comebacks and new music in general, when you felt excited, it was electrifying as if it was sparking him to life. He held partial envy concerning it. Your emotions alone reminded him of Seokmin, Soonyoung or even Minghao now, so emotionally mature to a point, so intune with their emotional expressions. It drove his music most days. 

Soonyoung actually made a list of some of their recent songs that had to do with the emotions he felt from his soulmate. Together was one from their recent album. It was inspired by the idea that one day he will walk on the same path with his soulmate and go through the hardships together. Jeonghan and Joshua had a field day making fun of him when they found out about Second Life . While he is someone who speaks comfortably with his brothers about how he feels and what runs through his head, he kept many of the feelings you subconsciously shared with him to himself. 

“ ...ung….Hyung…Woozi-Hyung.” Jihoon shook his head, sitting up from his slowly reclining position in his desk chair to look down at his ipad screen. 

“ Thank you for coming back to earth.” Mingyu snorted, starting to wiggle his eyebrows. “ Are they awake?” 

A few of them insisted on video chatting today since they had been so bored. It was a majority of the Maknae line that blessed his screen. At the question, snickers were heard through his speakers causing him to roll his eyes.

“ No, I was thinking about somethi-”

“Thinking about how in Loooooove you are with your soulmate.” Seokmin and Seungkwan hollard out with extra obnoxious energy. 

Closing his eyes, Jihoon took in one long breath, flattening his lips in his signature ‘bread face’. He held his breath in for a moment before opening his eyes and stared deadpan at the people on his screen. 

“ I know where you sleep.” 

“Hey hey, wow, six feet apart, Hyung, can’t have us getting sick again.” Seungkwan’s words flowed out quickly, holding a hand out towards his screen.

Jihoon’s expression went from flat to somewhat disgusted. Once again, he rolled his eyes.

“ We are already- You know what I’m not even going to attempt to argue this with you because you will just continue to make jokes.” 

From his point of view, he saw his bandmate’s faces light up in victory and grin wide. 

Glancing down at his wrist though, he traced his thumb over the dark numbers on his skin. He just needs to be patient. Just over two more years.

2022 

From all the hard work from the three of you and the rest of your team, you all had received decent bonuses and a healthy promotion for yourself, advancing up to an assistant manager position in the sector of the international business section of the company. You felt accomplished outside of it all. Your masters was finished, you were advancing in your job, and you felt genuinely happy. Your grandparents were still around, your friends only got closer, and you had on and off butterflies knowing that you were so close to meeting your soulmate. 

As you sat in your office, leaning back in the cushioned chair, you lazily read through some of the files you needed to get through by the end of the week. So far, you were ahead of schedule so you didn’t stress too much, however you wanted to just peek at the information you needed to know. It was a quiet Tuesday so far, nothing too serious popping out at you. 

Your soulmate had been up all night, they were jittery, both excited and nervous. It had been building for the past couple of days, but it was nothing too major until now. 

It was later in the work day for yourself, closer to 4:30. You were passively getting work done before you clocked out at five and went home. Somewhere on your organized mess of a desk, your phone vibrated, but you paid no mind to it, knowing you can check it later. Not long after, you hear hurried steps from down the hall thanks to your office door being open and the out of breath call of your name as Jamie bends over in the doorway. 

You sat up, dropping the files on the desk and standing up. 

“Hey, is everything alrig-”

“Just…” He heaved a breath in, “Check twitter now!” 

Confused, you were taken back when Kazuki appeared behind Jamie, eyes wide and absolutely beaming at you. You’ve seen him animated before, he was bounding on the balls of his feet. It didn’t dawn on you yet but as you picked up your phone and opened twitter, it hit you. 

Staring down at your phone, you laughed to the point tears bloomed in your eyes. 

“Oh my god. You both are ridiculous.” You leaned forward with your hand on your desk. Though tear hazed eyes, you shook your head, seeing the two standing just beyond your desk now, giddy and nearly childlike. The fancy suits only added to the comedic scene.

To be far, you didn’t expect Jamie and Kazu to actually take your bet as seriously as they did, but yeah. It happened. You owed them (and yourself) tickets to the Seventeen concert now. 

“Jamie, Kazu, we are going to see Seventeen!” 

In the first days of June, Jamie, Kazuki, and yourself sat shoulder to shoulder on your living room floor. Though it wasn’t ideal, the three of you took the day off in advance for this. Each of you unsurprisingly had the Weverse membership, but you sat early in the queue for the ticketmaster sales to go live for early access. Your laptop rested on the coffee table before you, taunting you. On September 6th of this year, the group will be performing in Newark, New Jersey. You had decided to go there instead of New York itself. 

Your body buzzed with excitement, hands shaking and unable to stop your leg from bouncing. Jamie was doom scrolling through twitter, Kazuki was attempting to focus on the video he was watching, but your eyes never left the computer screen. Over the last hour, you triple checked your credit card information and the amount of money in your account. Now you sat, listening to the idle words leaving Jamie’s lips when he found an amusing tweet. The words never processed in your head, melding together with the brainless thoughts. 

“You look ready to throw up.” Kazuki placed his arm around your shoulder, making you tense but let out a breath of relaxation after. 

Turning your gaze to him, physically you deflated. “Nervous energy is building up. I’m excited, dizzy, and a little stunned that we are sitting on the floor of my apartment sitting in early access queue for all this. I just want to get us good seats.” 

“Babes, no matter what seats you get us, you know we won’t mind.” Jamie now threw his arm over your shoulder from the other side, squishing you between them. “All I care about is us seeing them and you getting to meet your soulmate! Hopefully they are cute, and who knows,” He began to wiggle his eyebrows, “Maybe it’s your bias.” 

The look of pure disbelief at his words had both of them cackling. To be honest, it wasn’t like you didn’t think about it. Kazuki did make that joke when you started to bias Seungcheol, but you never took it seriously. That was some delulu shit. 

Returning your eyes to the computer screen, your heart dropped. You were in the proper queue. You voiced the change and suddenly the three of you were sitting forward. As the number slowly got closer to zero, your heart jumped to your throat as the floor plans appeared. 

Fast fingers work on the bluetooth mouse and keyboard, quickly finding open seats that nearly had you keeling over. Floor seats, front row just off center to the left from the extended stage. You took no time to secure the tickets, bated breaths praying you were able to get them in time. From past ticket sales along, you knew the competition was cutthroat to put it lightly. As you watched the screen load, you froze in awe. Before you on the screen were three confirmed seats for the concert, front row.

Jamie’s hand on your shoulder slowly traveled to your back and began patting slowly at first but turned into semi-hard slaps of elation. “YN, YN you got them!” He yelled in your ear, breaking your unblinking stare at the confirmed screen. Your phone buzzed with an email regarding the purchase and a copy of the tickets. 

You blinked once, twice, three times, then the tears just…started to fall from your eyes and you let out a high pitched squeal. The sounds that began to leave you were really coherent, rather babbling of unnecessary doubt about the situation. 

“Holy fuck!” You were finally able to form proper words. “I just spent over a thousand dollars for this, you better get me food and stuff for the rest of my life! Kiss the ground I work on! Worship me like a Goddess!” 

Standing up, you jumped around the room, unable to keep yourself still even for a moment, believing that if you stopped, you’d wake up from this dear. 

“We’ll need outfits, a hotel, take the time off to-” You rattled off necessary things, but Jamie laughed and wrapped his arms around you, jumping in a circle. 

“One step at a time! I’ll make sure everything gets in order for this.” He placed the fattest, wettest kiss on your cheek. Half gagging as a joke, you push him away and snort.

It was going to be a night you will never forget for sure. 

“ I’m telling you hyung, they have to be a carat. No one can be that restless on a weekday and the time matches up with-.” It was the third time Jihoon said something similar to that in the last hour. 

Sitting in his studio, the animated energy that his soulmate pushed through to him was keeping him up. To no one’s surprise, Seungcheol and Soonyoung were lazing around on the couch on their phones, however it was nearing 4 in the morning. 

“ Jihoonie, if you repeat yourself one more time, I’m going to kick you out of your own studio.” Seungcheol dropped the arm holding his phone over his head, huffing before he continued. “ Take a chill pill and breathe. ” 

Turning around in his chair, Jihoon physically deflated despite the curiosity he held within himself. Beside the leader, Soonyoung hit his arm gently against the former’s chest. “ Leave him alone, let him be a love sick puppy and believe his soulmate is a carat. ” 

“ Yah, I’m not a love sick puppy-” 

“Yes you are.” His counterparts retaliated. Soonyoung continued sitting up to look level with Jihoon, “ For a guy that doesn’t want to talk about their soulmate much because you want to keep their emotions private, you sure do talk about them a lot.”

As he was about to counter argue the point, a tightness formed in his chest. The excitement he felt turned into pure unfiltered adrenaline. The sudden rush of emotions had him dizzy, using his elbows on his knees to hold his head up. That adrenaline only lasted moments before a bloom of bliss washed through his limbs. Soonyoung was kneeling in front of him when he came down from the shared high, shaking his head to clear the fog that was forming. It was like they had dipped themselves in euphoria and were riding out the glee. 

“ Tickets just went on sale in the US, right? ” Jihoon asked, giving no explanation to his friends, but Seungcheol gave him confirmation nonetheless. 

Soonyoung frowned, eyebrows knitting together as he sat back on the small ointment pushed against the wall behind his desk. 

“ I’m probably right by the way, assholes.” 

Scoffing in disbelief, the three shared a laugh. 

This year was going to be interesting.

Eve walked onto the red carpet with a smile on her face. She posed for the cameras, satisfying the journalists’ requests before walking to the interview zone.

“Hello,” she greeted the three MC’s, bowing her head as well.

“Hello,” RalRal greeted. “You’re so pretty.”

Eve smiled shyly. “Thank you.”

“Are your members not here with you?” Hyesul asked, noticing that Eve was by herself.

“Yes. Today, I’m representing ITZY,” she said. “We’re busy with comeback preparations, but the company said I should come to MAMA and see MIDZY’s.”

Hanhae exclaimed. “That was very wise of the company. I’m sure the fans were excited when they heard you were coming.”

“Looking at your dress, I can see why you’re called Princess Nabi,” Hyesul commented, waving her arm in Eve’s direction.

“Thank you, I chose it myself,” Eve said.

“It’s so pretty.”

“Eve-ssi, there were many songs that came out this year,” RalRal mentioned. “Which song do you think was the best?”

“L.O.V.E by Hur Youngji sunbaenim,” she answered without missing a beat, causing the MC’s to laugh.

“Most people would say themselves or they would beat around the bush and not give us an answer,” Hanhae told her, “but you immediately answered without missing a beat.”

“I was expecting you to say antifragile,” Hyesul admitted.

“Compared to L.OV.E, antifragile is not up there. It’s not close,” Eve said.

They continued to talk a little bit more before their interview time was over and Eve walked off camera.

“This time you will meet the best performance queen,” Park Gyuyoung announced after SEVENTEEN accepted their award,” who has captured fans with brilliant performances.”

The nominees were shown on the screen with snippets of the choreography, Eve being one of them.

“I will announce the winner. The 2023 MAMA Awards Best Dance Performance Female Solo. The winner is… Eve.”

Eve stood up as the crowd erupted in cheers, making her way to the stage. She accepted the trophy from Gyuyoung with a bow before turning to face the crowd.

“Thank you so much for this award. The choreographers worked really hard on it and so did the dancers and so did I. I’m very thankful to fans for liking my performances and supporting me, it really means a lot. I’ll continue to work harder to give you great performances that you can be proud of. Thank you, once more. I love you!” She made a cheek heart to the camera and walked backstage with Gyuyoung.

Once she reached backstage, she immediately bolted to her greenroom. “I won!” She exclaimed excitedly, raising the trophy above her head as she stood in the doorway. The staff and dancers in the room cheered for her.

“Congratulations!” Taehee shouted. “Now, sit down.”

Eve nodded as she made her way to the nearest chair, putting the trophy on the table in the centre of the room. Eunjung, one of the dancers, handed her two granola bars to help with her energy levels. “Well done on your hard work, everyone!” She congratulated, unwrapping the first bar. “We’ve done so well.”

Haena, one of the other dancers, snorted. “We haven’t performed yet.”

“I meant all of our other performances,” Eve clarified. “That’s why we won this award.”

“We’ve used all of our energy for the performances,” another dancer, Jinhee, agreed.

“Let’s hope they film the choreography nicely,” Eve commented. She looked up at the screen on the wall that was airing the show to the staff. “We can only have so much.”

Ari walked over to Eve. “Even if the filming isn’t good, the company is going to record your performance and there will be fancams.” She put her hand on Eve’s forehead, checking the girl’s temperature. “You’re good.”

Since it was winter, Eve had been running a fever so her team had been checking her temperature as often as possible. The fact that she was working every day for more than the recommended amount of time probably wasn’t helping. And the fact that most of her work was dance practices for award shows with exhausting choreography definitely wasn’t helping.

“Let me get back out there,” Eve said after eating her second granola bar. She stood up and walked to the door. “I’ll be back, everyone.” She left the room, walking down the wide hallway in the building. As she was walking, she heard someone call her name.

Yoonseo made her way to Eve, giving the older girl a hug when she reached her. “Congratulations, unnie!”

“Thank you, unnie,” Eve joked. Yoonseo’s character in the movie they were in together was older than Eve’s character, so Eve developed a habit of randomly calling Yoonseo ‘unnie.’

“How aren’t you cold?” Yoonseo asked when they had stopped hugging. Since her dress was long-sleeved, she didn’t feel the effects of the cold as badly.

Eve shrugged. “I think it’s because of adrenaline. But I also have a heater near where I’m sitting.”

“Ah, that makes sense. When are you performing?”

“At the end, just before (G)I-dle sunbaenim,” Eve answered.

Yoonseo nodded. “Have fun.”

“Thanks. I’ll try,” Eve said, pretending to sniffle.

Yoonseo laughed. “Unnie, go.”

“Okay, bye.”

“The next award is a very special one,” Sooyoung began after ATEEZ had already walked backstage, “it’s one many artists dream of winning. Let’s meet the nominees.”

The nominees were shown on screen with snippets of their songs playing, Eve being one of them.

“The 2023 MAMA Awards Best Female Artist. The winner is… Wow,” she exclaimed softly when she opened the flip phone, “I’m very honoured to present this award to this artist. Eve!”

Eve stood up, shocked that her name had been the one that was called. She made her way to the main stage as the crowd and artists cheered for her. Once she reached the stage, she hugged Sooyoung before accepting the award.

“Um, thank you for the award of Best Female Artist. It’s a very big honour and the fact that Sooyoung unnie — who used to give me advice for monthly evaluations — is awarding it to me makes it more meaningful.” She paused as the crowd cheered louder. “It’s thanks to MIDZY that I’m able to do what I love and I will continue to work hard to make you proud to be my fan. I also want to thank my members for always supporting me amongst my many schedules and giving me energy when I was tired. Thank you!”

She bowed before walking backstage with Sooyoung. Once they made it to the backstage area, Sooyoung engulfed Eve in a tight hug.

“Ah, congratulations, Nabi!” She squealed out before ending the hug. “How are you already winning Best Female Artist? Didn’t you only start training two weeks ago?” She asked.

“Ahjumma, I’m also shocked,” Eve agreed. “I debuted yesterday, didn’t I? I was just singing Dalla Dalla, wasn’t I?”

Whenever Eve reached a new milestone in her career, she was always in shock at how far she had come. She sometimes forgot when she debuted and had to remind herself that she wasn’t a rookie artist anymore, but instead an idol with four years of experience.

“You had those horrid pigtails just last week,” Sooyoung exaggerated as the two women moved out of the way of the staff. She led them to her greenroom, where Kyungho also was.

Eve frowned as she spoke, “Calling them a ‘horrid’ is a bit of a stretch, I liked them. They were very cute at the time and they’d still be cute now. But I know what you mean,” she finished with a smile before noticing Kyungho sitting on the vanity. “Oh, hi!” She waved at him.

“Oh! It’s the Best Female Artist!” He exclaimed, making Eve blush.

“That’s me.” She looked around the room. “What am I doing here? And why’s your room empty?”

“We were still talking!” Sooyoung whined, sitting on the couch. “How could you forget?”

“I thought we had said everything. What else do we have to say?”

“Yah, do you not know how a conversation works?”

“Why is it my fault?” Eve muttered, her expression to be one of offence.

Sooyoung suddenly pointed at Eve. “We should film an antifragile challenge.”

Eve stared intently at Sooyoung for a few beats. “But–”

“Yeah.”

“–if we film it–”

“Yeah.”

“–won’t… things come out?” She asked, gesturing at Sooyoung’s decolletage.

Sooyoung hung her head as both her and Kyungho burst into laughter. “Obviously, I mean later! On a different day when we’re wearing different clothes.”

Eve shook her head. “Nothing was obvious about that. Anyway, my manager is probably about to go mad because I haven’t magically appeared in my greenroom and I need to change, so I’ll be leaving now. Bye!” She waved to the couple as she left the room.

Eve power walked as best as she could to her greenroom. “Hi, everyone. I’m back!”

“Where were you?” Ari asked when Eve entered the room.

“Sooyoung unnie’s room. She kidnapped me.”

“Okay.” Ari nodded, accepting that answer. She knew that Eve meant that Sooyoung took her somewhere.

“Where is everyone?” Eve asked, noticing how the dancers weren’t there.

“They went to stretch,” Ari said. “Also, Yeji was trying to FaceTime you,” she mentioned as Eve sat down and put her trophy next to her other one.

Eve picked up her phone from the table, unlocking it and going to hear missed calls. She pressed on Yeji’s profile and waited as the phone rang.

“Unnie!” Yeji squealed when she picked up. “You won two awards!”

“I did, I did!” Eve leaned forward to show her trophies. “How’s practice?”

“Boring and tiring,” Yeji answered. “We’re on a break and the other members went to a cafe.”

Eve groaned. “I’m suddenly craving coffee from that cafe by the dorm.”

“Right, right. How is it being there by yourself?”

Eve sighed. “Lonely. I’ve been sitting next to Le Sserafim most of the time, but I still miss the members. It’s more fun when we’re all here.”

“I see,” Yeji said in a teasing tone, trying to lighten Eve’s mood, which she succeeded in. “When is your performance?”

“Soon, actually. So, I need to change and stretch and do my makeup again.”

“Okay. We’re going to watch your performance so we’ll be rooting for you.” She made a fist with her hand, showing it to the camera. “Fighting!”

“Fighting!”

Eve went on stage for her performance. It consisted of two introduction tracks she produced just for this award show and antifragile. She made sure to use a good amount of energy to deliver a good performance for the fans to watch. The cheers from the audience gave her a lot of energy and helped her keep going until the end, despite how sore her body was from the dance.

Eve sat in her seat next to Chaewon. As (G)I-dle’s performance came to an end, the girls began to talk amongst themselves. Since Eve was a bit tired, she was laughing at everything they said. They quieted down when Seungryong walked onto stage.

“I was shown a lot of love when I was in Moving, portraying a character with superpower abilities,” Seungryong said. “Looking at the K-Pop stars here today, I also think they have superpowers. Let’s meet the nominees for this award.”

The nominees were shown on screen with snippets of their songs playing, Eve being one of them.

“The 2023 MAMA Awards Artist of the Year. The winner is…”

“Wouldn’t it be so funny if he called my name and then was, like ‘Sike?’” She asked, pointing at herself as she and Sakura laughed.

“...Eve!”

Due to Eve still laughing with Sakura, she didn’t hear her name being called. Chaewon, however, pushed her up. Eve stood, taking note of how the audience was applauding, and joined in, not realising they were applauding for her. The rest of the Le Sserafim members figured out that Eve was applauding for a different artist, so they ushered her to walk down the stairs and make her way on stage. Eve obliged easily, a confused expression on her face as she walked, before it dawned on her what was happening, her expression changing to one of disbelief. As she approached Seungryong, she pointed at herself to make sure that she was the one that was called and he nodded in response, giving her her award. She bowed to him before approaching the mic stand.

She cleared her throat a few times, trying to think of something to say. “Um… I wasn’t expecting to win,” she admitted. “I… This is crazy!” She shook her head to clear her head. “Thank you to all of the songwriters and producers and composers that I worked with for eudaimonia. I learnt a lot from all of you and I’m very thankful for the knowledge I gained. Uh, thank you to my stylist, makeup artist and hairstylist for making me look pretty on stage and in the music videos. Thank you to my managers for organising my schedule as nicely as possible. Thank you to the various teams that had a part in eudaimonia. Thank you to my members for helping me with songwriting and coming up with music video concepts and choreography ideas– Oh, thank you to my choreographer and dancers! Because of you, I’m able to give really good performances. Thank you to Hyoyeon unnie and Momo unnie for agreeing to feature on the album. It means a lot, a lot. And of course, thank you to MIDZY’s everywhere that listened to the album and streamed it and bought it. Very cool and very fun of you. Because of all of the people I mentioned, I was able to win Artist of the Year and I’m very thankful to each and every one of you. I’ll make sure to… I forgot what I was going to say, but I’m sure it was going to be so incredibly smart. I’ve never won Artist of the Year before, so I don’t really know what to say, so I’ll just stop here. I love you!”

She bowed to the crowd once more before walking off stage with Seungryong. Once they reached backstage, she walked quietly to her greenroom. “Something strange just happened.”

“You won Artist of the Year!” Haena exclaimed excitedly.

Eve pointed at Haena. “That’s the strange thing I’m talking about.”

For the next five minutes, Eve’s greenroom was loud with cheers of excitement as she stood there with her arms crossed.

“This is crazy,” she commented when everyone had calmed down.

Eunjung, who was scrolling on her phone, exclaimed, “You’re the first female artist to win Artist of the Year since 2011 — which was Girls’ Generation sunbaenim — and you’re the first solo female artist in the history of MAMA to win Artist of the Year!”

“This is crazy!”

Ari handed Eve’s phone to the younger woman. “You have a lot of texts.”

Eve opened her phone, still standing up, and opened her KaKaoTalk, seeing an influx of messages from practically everyone on her contact list. She read through as many as she could and responded to them, trying her hardest not to blush when she got to San’s. Thinking of her boyfriend, she sighed. Even though they were both at the same award show, they barely spoke to each other. The only time they had interacted the whole night was when they were sitting near each other and waved.

She responded to his message with three pink sparkly hearts and a face savouring food — her favourite emojis. She looked up from her phone, noticing that SEVENTEEN was beginning to walk off stage after accepting their award.

Just then, a staff member poked his head in the room. “It’s almost time for the ending stage.”

“Ah, yes.” Eve put her phone and trophy down, following the staff member out of the room.

“Congratulations on your win.”

“Thank you.”

Eve was led to a different stage entrance, where she saw Yunjin’s bright red hair. “Hi, hi,” she said when she was behind Yunjin.

Yunjin turned around with a gasp, hugging Eve. “Unnie, congratulations!”

“Thank you, thank you. Congratulations to you guys too.”

They continued to congratulate each other before making their way onto the stage so they could see fans one last time before leaving. The stage was full with artists, all waving to fans or talking to each other. Eve made her way around the stage, eventually losing Yunjin somewhere. She smiled at Wooyoung when she noticed him.

“Congratulations on your awards,” she told him.

“You too. Your performance was great!” He complimented, throwing her a thumbs up. “San was watching you like this–” he imitated the fond smile his member had when Eve was performing.

Eve giggled. “I’m not quite sure how to respond to that. But where is he?”

Wooyoung looked over his left shoulder before feeling an arm go around his right. “There he is.” He pointed at the member hanging off of his side.

“Hi,” Eve said, smiling at San.

“Hi,” San replied, smiling at Eve. “Your performance was wow!”

“Thank you! So was yours! And if you could refrain from taking your shirt off in public, there are so many people who would appreciate it.”

San shrugged. “It was for the performance. Just to drive the point home.”

“Yeah, yeah. The new song sounds good!” She complimented. “Very catchy.”

San blushed. “Thanks, we try.”

“Yeah, well, duh!”

Wooyoung cleared his throat, not liking how his friends seemed to forget that he was there.

“I should probably get going before people start to get suspicious,” Eve said before giving them a small wave, not noticing how San whipped his head around to watch her walk away.

The rest of the show was a blur: she spoke to so many people, nearly bumped into half a dozen and immediately threw herself onto the couch in her greenroom.”

“I can’t wait to go to bed,” she said.

Ari and Taehee shared a look before the former woman tapped Eve’s leg. “Don’t forget, you have the after-party.”

“Ugh!”

💫𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 2023💫

2023 has been a year to say the least so lets get into this 😂. As usual this is in no particular order cause I cant handle putting these into a proper order.

𝐓𝐨𝐩 5 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐬:

1. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐂𝐚𝐟𝐞 (2022).

I watched this on a whim and boy am I glad I did. The female lead is so unhinged but in the best way and our main guy is so in love with her I cant. Literally this drama was such a fun time and everything connected together so well. Just watch this drama pls.

2. 𝐁𝐨 𝐑𝐚! 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐡 {𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞} (2023).

Yoo In Na shines and I love the character growth that both the leads go through, everything that happens makes sense and it really does show that working on yourself isnt a linear process. There will be set backs but you can over come them. I tend to not care for side couples but I loved all of them in this, they were just hilarious or adorable.

3. 𝐓𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧 (2023).

I wasnt going to watch this drama but thankfully instagram reels made me interested enough to give this a chance. I love all 4 of the leads, they are my babies and they deserve all the happiness in the world.

4. 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐈 𝐅𝐥𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮 (2023).

This was such a cute, fun drama. I didnt expect to love it as much as I did, the family dynamics, friendships, everything was so well done and the 2 couples were the cutest.

5. 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 (2023).

Literally Instagram reels made me watch this and I do not regret it. The melodrama, romance, revenge, plot twists... Everything was such a wild ride, I recommend that everyone watches it.

𝐓𝐨𝐩 5 𝐍𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬:

1. 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫 ~ 𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧.

The irony, I always said that I wouldnt stan a group with more than 7 members 😂. Honestly I was just seeing too many funny reels about SVT and then I watched the Game Caterers videos without even knowing all of their names and Super was everywhere that I just fell into the rabbit hole that is Seventeen.

2. 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 ~ 𝐉𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐨.

My bias came and she ate. I love this song and it showed in my top 2023 songs its at number 6... The top 5 are all Taylor obviously.

3. 𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 ~ 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐨𝐨𝐤.

He came and took over the world. Nothing more to say about that.

4. 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐦 ~ 𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐧.

Yall need to stop sleeping on Enhas japanese discography. This song is just so sweet and wonderful. I cant with it.

5. 𝐔𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 ~ 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐢𝐦.

I just loved this whole song and the album too. Next LSF comeback when?!.

𝐓𝐨𝐩 5 𝐓𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬:

So last time I only had the vault tracks but Speak Now was the album that made me a swiftie so not limiting myself to just the vault tracks this time.

1. 𝐇𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝.

This is my absolute favourite song. It is just such a masterpiece and can be related to in any situation.

2. 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝.

1. Bestie got married, shes happy and Im happy for her. It was a proper desi wedding and it was good fun.

2. I FINALLY graduated from University😂. Only took me like 5 years, one failed attempt and repeating my third year.

3. Made some great friends from the school I worked at, we bonded over how messed up the school we worked at is.

4. Managed to travel and have such great experiences.

5. Im happy with the fanfics I wrote this year. Still shocked that people actually read and enjoy the stuff I write but Im immensely grateful for all the love and support I get.

Be My Favorite - Intro

WELCOME TO KEY’S SUMMER FIXATION SERIES. \:D/

Hello! I’m Key, and I’ll be your Be My Favorite historian and enthusiast.

I’ve been really excited for Be My Favorite ever since the series was first announced in December of 2021. The premise grabbed me right away since I’m a big fan of time loops (please watch Triage if you haven’t already, I’d say it’s the strongest BL series to date), and Krist’s one of my favorite actors, so it was an instant five stars of anticipation for me. Then in September of 2022, Gawin (another favorite of mine) was cast, and I had a dream casting I think I might have joked about once. (So I did this, you’re welcome.)

Whoever cast Gawin, I’ll send you a basket of whatever you love and aren’t allergic to.

THE CASTING HISTORY

Be My Favorite had a rocky road to casting.

From what I’ve been able to follow, it was initially meant to be a KristSingto comeback vehicle. (Their last BL together was the SOTUS Our Skyy episode in 2018.) However, in 2022, Krist tentatively told fans at a fan meeting that Singto’s schedule didn’t work out with filming. Seeing as GMMTV didn’t want Krist acting in BL series without his brand partner, I think they knew Singto wasn’t planning to renew his contract, so they cast Mike instead. Personally, I was excited to see Krist step outside his comfort zone with a different actor, and he’s close to Mike, so I figured it’d be a good match. I was also happy for Singto, because he’s wanted more independence in his career. He’s into photography and directing, he’s made his own studio, formed his own fan club in Japan, etc. (I think it’s likely he and Krist will work together again, though. They’re still very close, they play video games online with their friends from university fairly regularly, and Singto went out of his way to organize a KristSingto concert in December of 2022 through his Japanese fan club. KS used to hold their GMMTV-sponsored concerts there annually before the pandemic, so I think it was both a “final chapter” to one part of their lives and evidence that they can collaborate again if they want to.)

I didn’t have strong feelings about Mike’s casting. I haven’t seen him in much, but I liked him in the teaser, and he’s already close to Krist, so I was on board. After seeing Singto improve through his series with other actors (something he might have had to fight for, but that’s pure speculation), I was just excited for Krist to get the same opportunities.

And then…Gawin. [seventeen sparkle emojis]

As I said on Twitter the day Gawin’s casting was announced, “I could not be more pleased and delighted that I’ve built a reputation for myself that makes people think, ‘Krist and Gawin? QUICKLY, LIGHT THE FIRES AND TELL KEY,’” because I woke up to not one but three separate friends letting me know about it.

I went from excited to feral in the four seconds it took my brain to go from, “This can’t be real,” to, “Finally, bizarre breaking news that isn’t actively traumatizing.”

Truly, I have to hand it to Krist, because he's wanted this project to do well from the start, and he's stuck with it and worked hard on it through potentially three scene partners. And he really seems to have grown and learned from Gawin, so good on him.

THE WRITER/DIRECTOR

My one worry was that I haven’t enjoyed most of Jittirain’s adaptations.

But then I found out that the director, Waa, directed The Gifted and also has screenwriting experience. Krist has worked with Waa before and speaks highly of his process. There are a lot of scenes in the first episode of BMF that seem very clean and well edited, so I have hope.

On top of that, I’ve also seen fans mention that Be My Favorite is “inspired by” Jittirain’s novel, not adapted from it, which I think is a crucial distinction. (I don’t know the source for that, but I want it to be true, so I’ll believe it for now.)

Krist has said that they changed a lot from the novel, and based on what I know, the first episode has already departed quite a bit, so I have put my faith in Waa.

POSTPRODUCTION

For many reasons, some series just get the short stick with the amount of postproduction and budget they get. Some series are still filming as they start airing, some have budget cuts during production, etc.

Filming for Be My Favorite began on November 19th, 2022 and wrapped two months ago on March 24th. That same day, Waa shared on Twitter that he’d be starting work on intense editing right away. That was a great sign to me. With filming complete and two months of postproduction, he was almost certainly able to do a cleaner job than if he’d had to struggle under continued filming and simultaneous editing while the show was airing.

Also, BMF definitely seems to have money behind it. For example, this upgrade from the trailer to the first episode. In the trailer, as Kawi makes his first trip to the past, there's a bright, swirling glow around him.

When the episode aired, the effect looked a lot cleaner and had scenes from future episodes woven in.

Also, I loved this transition shot with the blurry background, and the dandelion seed floating across the screen was a cute detail, since that's the flower in the time loop globe.

Little things like like this tells me they’ve had the time to do this series well, and that there's a lot of love and effort going into it.

THE ACTING COACH

This February, the acting coach for BMF did an interview (1 & 2) that I really enjoyed. She said she’ll be sharing a video of their workshop now that the series is airing, so I’m keeping an eye out for that.

THE ACTORS

Like I said, I love both of them. I first watched SOTUS and the Kiss series in 2020, so I became a fan of both right around the same time.

In April of 2022, I made a top ten list of what I thought were the best acting performances up to that point. Krist was on it, and so was Gawin. I admire both of them a lot, and I think they’ve both improved tremendously over the years.

Krist, from what I can tell through interviews, leans toward method acting. For example, in the scene I included on my list above, Arthit was apparently meant to cry a few lines later on, but Krist lost it earlier than scripted because in order to channel the emotion he needed for the scene, he imagined how he’d feel when Singto followed through with a long-time dream of studying overseas. It ended up one of their strongest scenes together because it was genuine.

Meanwhile, Gawin was interviewed in November of 2022, and while I think the whole interview is a great read, I wanted to emphasize this part:

“When I prepare for a role, I really have to dig into the story of the script,” [Gawin] explains. “Sometimes they do the last scenes of the series on the first day of being on set. So, you have to be really prepared with the entire story. You’ve got to know the whole thing, what emotions that character went through, and the changes with that character.” 

I think part of what makes Krist and Gawin a good combination is that they’re strong actors with different energies who might just have different ways of preparing for a role. I’d love to hear both of them talk in more detail about their processes, but it seems to me like Krist looks inward for personal experiences to connect with the character, and Gawin creates the character he’s playing based on research.

Another interesting point is that In that same interview, Gawin says he thinks Saifa from Enchanté most resembles his personality (easygoing, music lover, etc.), but he got his start as Mork from the Kiss series (attitude issues, perfect sasspot, etc.). Meanwhile, Krist had an easy link to his first major role, Arthit, in that he’d also been head hazer in university. So Krist started his career able to access a common point with his character, so that might’ve influenced his approach to future roles. Whereas Gawin started off with a character completely unlike himself, so he started from a place of more emotional detachment and probably a more research-oriented approach.

Also, they just seem to have connected on a personal level.

Working with someone so different gives actors the opportunity to learn from each other. When interviewed, Gawin said he and Krist discovered they have a lot in common, and it seems like they bonded over music and spent a lot of time on set singing together. (Their harmonizing is genuinely beautiful.)

Krist’s OST for the series is one of my favorites and Gawin has a ballad coming up later in the series, but I hope they give them a duet at some point. (It’d be a huge missed opportunity if they don’t.)

a/n: this is all i can think about right now, but this is brainrot about deku being a kpop idol! feel free to add more to it! and I can add more parts because this is my favorite thing right now like him during variety shows, seasons greetings, holidays, going back to japan and etc!

☆ he's a japanese trainee that was the talk of the town. he's got fans and even other idols talking about him. one of the most hardworking trainees. the teachers and fans of other idols in his company seen his determination and cheered for his success. he was accepted into his company at the age of sixteen

☆ he's known for his unique voice, but when he first gotten accepted into the agency, he had two left feet. it was a little inside joke among the fans of the trainees. though the more he trained the better he got with his dancing. he's still no main dancer, but he was becoming more confident in the monthly evaluations.

☆ in fact, he worked so hard to debut, debuted idols of his company when asked about him, recall seeing him through the training room doors practicing late at night. there was no way he wouldn't be on stage if he somehow made a way to korea.

☆ fans from time to time could spot him with his fluffy green hair and tired eyes walking from the convivence store with quick meals and would take a video. if anyone has seen grumpy deku, it's this little and consistent group of fans. a slouched over deku with a baggy hoodie and loose basketball shorts shuffling back to his agency at around noon.

☆ when he first came to korea, he knew very little korean. he was mainly speaking in japanese and found himself becoming close with other japanese trainees. so while he was getting training in singing and dancing, he spent a good portion of his day learning korean so he can be fluent for his future fans. even to this day, he has a pretty thick japanese accent; the fans think it is really cute to hear him speak.

☆ when he found out he was going to debut, he found out the same day as the rest of the kpop world. everyone who was interested in the future of his company's trainees were watching a youtube video that contained a compilation of reactions from various members of his upcoming boy group. the day the video was filmed was the day it was released into the world

☆ debuted in a six member boy group with a cool and fresh concept that everyone seemed to appreciate and is still well received. he debuted at the age of eighteen and is still not the youngest member. the youngest member was seventeen at the age of their debut.

☆ his stage name is deku-- but with fan posts, they still refer to him as izuku. his personality is still the same as it was during any trainee video logs; very cheery and positive. though he's a bit sarcastic and nonchalant when he sees his four dimensional members getting wild

☆ they are absolutely considered monster rookies in their first year of their debut and when you buy their albums, you are sure to get a thick box with every comeback filled with the album, photocards, and a thick little book filled with album credits, lyrics and concept pictures of the members. every music show they are invited to, they win. they only way they won't is if they are competing against a well established idol/idol group.

☆ his company loves to dress him up in breathable, baggy street fashion for live stages and photoshoots. it's rare you will see him in anything that's considered sexy or over exposed. it's not his style either

☆ expect every first of the month for deku to go live and talk about what he did over the past month and encouraging his fans for the rest of the month to come

☆ loves making little vlogs for the fans that he will upload to the groups youtube page every now and then showcasing interesting, new things that his group is doing at the time like going to award shows or traveling for concerts

☆ when final exam time comes for international and korean students, he will film a little vlog of himself studying korean and any languages he wants to learn so he connect with his fans. the fans can watch this or listen so they don't feel like they are studying alone

☆ loves to post pictures to instagram. sadly, you're barely getting any selfies. he's sharing little doodles and what he's eating or drinking. if he is going to post a selfie, he's most likely got a mask on to not be recognized. the other times you can actually see his face is when he is done with a live stage and it's a full body picture

☆ post videos of himself dancing every blue moon for his fans and to track his progress-- the fans eat it up every time and they won't stop talking about for MONTHS

☆ when it is time for him to debut on his own-- IT IS SO GOOD. his concept colors for his solo is white and green. imagine this baby in white overalls, white crewneck and a white bucket hat with lime green paint splatters all over the apparel. it's supposed to look messy and fun. his makeup is meant to be a little sexy though. though his eyes are already green, they put brighter green contacts on him and give him a forest green smoky eye. his ears are littered in piercings and his fingers are crowded with rings.

☆ he comes back once every summer with a slightly different but still fresh and bright style. you'll either get a single or a mini album with three to five songs every comeback

☆ his first music show win, this boy is in tears, ruining his makeup and everything. he's thanking his fans in korean and japanese. this is not his last music show win!

☆ his debut dance is so good, people even made a little trend out of the steps he does during the chorus!

☆ THIS-- THIS is when you all get to see sexy deku. everyone knows when it is time for the MAMA awards or the gayo daejeon and daejejeon is when all the idols really show out. he has two outfit changes, one to perform with his group and one to promote his solo. he's got the sexy apparel with his group. his solo is still fun and more interactive with the crowd. everyone is shocked to see him look so different. his aura is darker and more alluring rather than the chipper deku everyone is used to seeing

☆ for award season, he's dancing harder, his hair is styled differently (he probably grows it out), his jaw is more chiseled-- he went all out for this moment, the camera is drawn to him the whole time. especially for his solo performances? the crowd goes absolutely insane, the idols watching all of this commotion are SHOCKED or are dancing with him and the fans. just wait for the videos fans film of other idols jamming to him and his groups music
