Kjo peaked in k3g. That's it. Now he just tries to recreate that charm with every movie but alas the actors are not that iconic yet. Or because we've already seen the best.
Anyway Raichands forever. They come with insane wealth and even insane emotional trauma.
Husband sushing wife. We have it. Father not caring about his son. We so have it. Youngest child ignored even when he's right behind you. Get behind me Rohan.
And then we've the sweetest romance that gets way too hot for Indian living rooms for some instances. Also Miss iconic Poo. She was so stupid 😭
Anyway I still cry when I watch Nandini running to the door when Rahul and Rohan hug. I still cry when Rahul reunites with Nandini. Basically yeah, k3g my beloved, no-one can make me hate you.

OC Wardrobe
Thanks for the tag, @litchigaming! This was fun! 🤩
RULES: Post pictures of your character's wardrobe and put your OC in the center. It can be other people wearing the clothing, it's just a moodboard.
Ember Mercar ⚔️
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My girl is all about freedom of movement and layers. If it doesn't have pockets and she can't lounge gayly in a chair while wearing it, she wants nothing to do with it!
I picture Ember's wardrobe relying on a mix-and-match pile of western and desi-style suits (thanks to Neve's tailor), some casual kurtas and shalwar kameez, and, of course, tank tops 💪 Oh, and pants. She's not really a skirt and dresses gal.
For formal Veilguard events where she can't get away with wearing her armor, she'll don a Tevinter-style suit. It pisses off the bigoted magisters to see an elf (and ex-slave) in traditional formal wear, which only encourages Ember haha. In my mind, these Tevinter suits look a bit like a sherwani with tons of embroidery, gold, and detailed beading. And of course, she'll add a few red accents (like a dupatta or a sash around the waist) to show her support for her fellow Shadow Dragons.
===
Gently tagging @dancing--lights @jouskaroo @fatagenda @grimrevolution @hedwigoprah @augustnugs @ladysashasworld @dudewheresmynug and @biowaredisasterbisexual if you'd like to show off your Rook's style! 💜

Hi Raven !
hope you are doing well love. Just wanted to compliment you and basically (or kind of yap idk) about LADYBUG. it was magnificent and beautifully written. It scratched a deep part of my daddy issues itch I didn't even know about. Once i was thinkin abt it and had tears in my eyes for a moment ......
I was also wondering how dad inhowould react to us wearing traditional/cultural clothes since I'm a south asian too (pakistani) and qameez, shalwar/kurtiz are an essential part of me or a sari too !
how would he react, what would he say. you can make this a short drabble or give me your thoughts. once again I would like to kiss your hands for presenting us with a masterpiece such as dad inho !!
thank you nonnie! and here's a little something i cooked up in 10 minutes, i hope it's good
pairing: hwang inho x south asian fem reader
warnings: fluff! inho calls himself appa, inho in a desi environment basically
Tumblr media
"you're doing it wrong!"
"because you keep shaking!"
"it's 'cause you have that look in your eyes—"
"will you just trust me for once?"
you sigh in defeat, and inho chuckles— amused. you admire him like this— eyebrows furrowed in focus, pouty lips downturn. you love his mouth so much. his hands shake slightly as he applies henna to your hands; he's trying to draw a flower. don't doubt him— he's not a bad artist. he's a big fan of van gogh, studied a lot of art books. he liked to paint, back when he was younger. it was a therapeutic outlet. but this time your hand is his canvas, and he absolutely cannot mess his baby's design up.
"but the circle doesn't—" you whine, and he looks up. the warning glare he shoots you is playful, but it does the job of shutting you up.
"i didn't want to do it," he reminds you, finishing another petal, "but you forced me."
"i didn't force you into nothing," you pout, and he laughs. "will you write your initials into it?"
"are you sure?" he quirks an eyebrow, leans back to sir cross legged on the floor— your palm securely placed in his bigger hand. "your family would see the design."
you wave him off with your free hand, your bangles jingling with every movement. "not if you write it in hangul."
he grins and gets to work. you look at him fondly, and he pulls away proudly as he finishes the job. "any other complaints?"
"no, sir." you tease. you hold your hand up, brightly grin at the flowers he drew on your palm— he hid his initials within one of the leaves. it makes you blush. "it's perfect."
he gives you a victorious salute before grabbing your ankle. he places your foot upon his lap, "i got you a gift."
you blink at him, putting your hand to the side, careful not to mess his handiwork, "what gift?"
he brings something out of his pocket— an intricate gold anklet, laden with tiny bells. you gasp, and he gives you a wink before gently securing it around your ankle.
"pretty jewellery for my pretty girl." he mumbles. he lifts your foot and places a kiss to your ankle, making you blush.
"oh stop!" you giggle, pulling your leg away from his grasp. he chuckles along with you, and you rise from your seat and run around the bed. the anklet jingles with every step, and he chases after you— looking elegant as ever in his black sherwani. you went shopping with him and he saw the monster you turn into whenever you can't find the clothes that you like. that's why he didn't bother bargaining when you finally found something you thought was perfect— a pink chikankari dress, embroidered with white flowers and pearls. to match with you slightly, inho's carrying a pink rose in the pocket of his sherwani.
you look over your shoulder and in that moment he grabs the delicate fabric of your white dupatta and pulls. it slides off your shoulder and you laugh, turning around to grab it back with your free hand, dramatically covering the exposed skin of your neck.
"hey! not fair!"
"all's fair in love and war," inho replies with a theatrical edge to his voice, and with a strong tug he pulls you into himself. you collide into his chest and his hand wraps around your waist. you playfully glare up at him.
"come on," he leans down, brushes your noses together, "won't you give appa a kiss?"
your cheeks heat up and you huff, "let go! what if my father comes in?"
his eyes crinkle amusedly, "why, i'm right here."
"shut up," you chuckle heartily, your stomach erupting with butterflies. he leans down again, and you gently peck his mouth. he hums, and you sigh dreamily, burying your face in the crook of his neck.
"it's beautiful." you whisper, "thank you."
"anything for my love."
you grin and lean up to kiss him again, but the loud knocking on your door separates you two. your mother calling your name and a bunch of aunts whispering in the background grabs your attention— and you and inho exchange a cheeky, knowing glance before moving to the door.
dating someone your father's age comes with it's risks but another glance at your henna reminds you it's worth it.

Can't believe I'm actually actively playing this game again because of the Return of the King Hat Guy (and Crewmeru). That extra little WQ seals the deal for me, and made me not only clear Cyno's SQ 2 which has been sitting in my backlog due to burnout but also replay Kaveh's hangout while I'm at it.
Anyways, I guess it's time I actually share these Sabzerus festival designs I made ages ago? Starting with the birthday girl herself and her funny hat(less) man. I feel like it's an atrocity that nobody actually wears Indian traditional dress in this game, and I also put Hat Guy in one to even out the roster. Making the embroidery patterns may have killed my hand but I persevered.
Detailed shots and some design thoughts under the cut!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nahida's design is a game of "how many times can I draw the Dendro symbol without repeating it too obviously"
Her lehenga choli is inspired by a beautiful white and dark green set I saw on Google. My Indian friend advised to not make her outfit too predominantly white, so I made sure the dupatta is dark green and added darker borders. Honestly, Nahida would look so much better if her outfit isn't almost entirely white!
The patterns on her skirt include lotuses, vajras, and the upside-down Dendro symbol. Her jewelry are made of gold, emeralds (rejuvenation, harmony), white diamonds (strength), and pearls (elegance, grace, purity, wisdom, the Moon).
Wanderer's sherwani pattern is a lotus pattern I made myself :) It is rather heavy, but the dupatta is made of fine silk.
His bracelets are based on Buddhist prayer beads (right hand) and a kangan (ornate, heavy bangle type). The same Indian friend suggested it to me because bangles represent "delicateness" and aren't often on men, but he does canonically have a history of wearing feminine articles i.e. his veil as the Kabukimono, so I incorporated it.
His jewelry are made of gold and turquoise. His sherwani is sapphire-colored (wisdom, intuition, mental clarity).
While Nahida does have ghanta imagery on her canon outfit, I decided to emphasize the vajra on her design, and the ghanta on Wanderer's design i.e. his neck accessory. They're an inseparable, matching set.

an: desi boyss <33333 lolol, have fun with this one, i plan to add more lore for him later
Tumblr media
Aarav stepped out of his car, exhaling as he took in the familiar sight of your house. It had been years since he’d last stood here, but nothing had changed—the same whitewashed walls, the same wind chimes hanging by the door, the same faint scent of agarbatti lingering in the air.
He adjusted the cuffs of his shirt, taking a steadying breath before ringing the doorbell. He wasn’t nervous. He wasn’t. But something about coming here first—before even seeing you—made his heart hammer just a little faster.
The door swung open, and there stood your mother, blinking in surprise before her face lit up with recognition.
"Aarav?!" she gasped, pressing a hand to her chest before immediately reaching forward to pull him into a firm hug. "Look at you! When did you get back?"
"Just a few days ago, Aunty," he said, smiling as she pulled back to inspect him.
"Such a big man now, huh? All suited up," she teased, swatting his arm. "And you didn't even call to say you were coming?"
"Figured I’d surprise you all," Aarav said smoothly, stepping inside. "Besides, if I gave you a heads-up, Uncle would have had an entire feast ready, and I can't let him go through all that trouble."
"Arey, as if he needs a reason to feed people," she laughed, leading him into the living room. "Sit, sit! I'll get something for you."
Before he could protest, she was already calling out to your father, who emerged from his study, eyes widening in pleasant surprise.
"Aarav! Welcome back, beta!" your father said, shaking his hand firmly before clapping him on the back. "How does it feel, being home after so long?"
Aarav hesitated for just a fraction of a second, then smiled. "Different," he admitted. "But good."
He glanced around the living room, noting every little detail that remained unchanged—the framed pictures on the wall, the cushions that had probably been there since he was a teenager. His eyes drifted towards one, a photo of you standing with a Dupatta and him with a makeshift sherwani, frowning.
It felt strangely nostalgic, looking at all the mischief the both of you got up to before he left for London.
"So, tell me," your mother started as she set down a plate of snacks in front of him, "have you met our child yet, or are we the lucky ones getting to see you first?"
Aarav smirked, leaning back into the sofa with easy confidence. "Not yet," he said, picking up a piece of namak para. "But I have to ask, Aunty… do they still remember their husband?"
Your mother’s hand froze mid-pour as she was serving him tea, while your father let out a short, surprised laugh.
"Oh god," your mother groaned, shaking her head. "Not this again."
"Of course this again!" Aarav grinned. "That was a legally binding terrace wedding, if you recall. I made very serious vows. You were all witnesses."
Your father chuckled, sipping his chai. "I do remember someone demanding that he touch their feet like a proper groom."
Aarav smirked. "And I refused, which is probably why the marriage didn't last."
Your mother rolled her eyes. "Honestly, you two were impossible. You used to fight like an old married couple before that wedding nonsense, and even worse after it."
Aarav laughed, shaking his head. Yeah, we did.
He could still remember it so clearly—the way you had huffed when he refused to follow your made-up wedding rituals, the way you had chased him around the terrace, dupatta flying behind you like a dramatic heroine in some Bollywood film. Back then, it had been just another one of your games, something silly and fleeting.
Even then, he still liked you, he didn’t want anyone else but him to stand beside you as your husband, he wouldn’t allow anyone else next to you.
Aarav exhaled dramatically, shaking his head as he leaned forward to rest his elbows on his knees. “You know, I’ve been thinking, Aunty,” he mused, glancing toward your mother with an exaggerated expression of disappointment. “It’s been years since that wedding, and yet, I never received any sweets. Not even a single box of mithai.”
Your mother gasped, placing a hand on her chest as if personally affronted. “Arrey, how did we forget? Such a shame! We’ve denied our poor son-in-law his wedding sweets!”
Your father chuckled behind his cup of tea. “Looks like we’re at fault, after all.”
Aarav sighed, shaking his head. “At least send me a box now. Consider it overdue compensation for emotional damages.”
Your mother swatted his arm with a laugh. “Hai, drama king! Emotional damages, is it? I should have known you’d come back from London talking like this.” She stood up, already heading toward the kitchen. “Fine, fine, you’ll get your sweets. I have fresh gulab jamun in the fridge.”
Aarav perked up, grinning. “See? Now this is the kind of in-law treatment I deserve.”
Your father snorted. “Don’t get too comfortable, beta. You never officially married our child, remember? No pheras, no legal documents. That means you’re still on trial.”
Aarav gasped in mock offense. “Trial? Uncle, please! I have proof—I pinky-swore! That’s more binding than any contract.”
Your mother called out from the kitchen, “Then why did you run away, haan?”
Aarav opened his mouth, but nothing came out for a moment.
Because that—that wasn’t just a joke. That was real.
He forced a smirk, masking the sudden shift in his chest. “Fine, you got me there. But don’t worry, Aunty.” He leaned back, flashing a slow, easy grin. “I’m back now, aren’t I?”
"And I promise to be the best husband ever."

I ended up constantly adding more accessories to Dorian, and even then I still think it's pretty tame. also note: included his birthright

If you're comfortable with it, I'd love to know your inspiration for the clothing design in your recent art piece :> I really love Dorian's outfit in particular!
Hi, of course! I don’t do outfit designs very often but I did have some inspiration for each character.
For Dorian I was looking at traditional Indian menswear, specifically a sherwani, dhoti pants, a dupatta stole, and some pretty shiny mojari shoes.
For Iron Bull I looked at some Mongolian traditional clothing, since I feel like there’s some similarities to Bulls in-game armor. I was looking at some deels, especially fancy fur-lined silk ones.
For Adaar I was going mostly off of the Antaam-Saar in-game, since that’s what I imagine him wearing most of the time, and he’s kinda stubborn about not wanting to dress up so I think they compromise with a slightly fancier version of his normal clothes. I also imagine his day-to-day armor being a lot like the Asaarash horse armor, you can’t get him to put a shirt on but he keeps tying more little armor plates to himself like a lunatic.
And then for Lavellan I was looking at baroque and other 17th century fashion, since he’s an Orlesian bard, and I was trying to play with pairing differently gendered clothing pieces to create something playful. (Also was just so excited to get to draw a ruff and codpiece lol)
I don’t know much about outfit designs or historical fashion so I probably made many mistakes but I wanted them all to look dapper :-)
I hope that’s helpful?

Pre Wedding Shoot in Jaipur: What to Wear & Where to Go (2025 Guide)
Introduction: Jaipur — Where Royal Romance Comes Alive
Planning a pre wedding shoot in Jaipur is like stepping into a fairy tale. With its majestic palaces, pink-hued walls, and golden sunsets, Jaipur offers the perfect backdrop for couples who want a royal, romantic photoshoot before tying the knot. But to make the most of your shoot, you need two things: the right outfits and the right locations.
Tumblr media
What to Wear for Your Pre-Wedding Shoot in Jaipur
Jaipur’s architecture and vibe are rich, traditional, and colorful — and your outfit should complement that! Here are outfit ideas based on shoot styles and backdrops:
1. Royal Rajasthani Attire
For Her: Lehenga choli with gota patti work or Bandhani dupatta
For Him: Sherwani with a safa (turban)
Perfect For: City Palace, Samode Palace, or Fairmont Jaipur
🟢 Tip: Avoid too much shimmer during day shoots — pastel or earthy tones with royal embroidery work best.
2. Pastel Romance
For Her: Flowing pastel gown or saree with light jewelry
For Him: Linen shirt with blazer or Nehru jacket in pastel tones
Perfect For: Jal Mahal, Albert Hall Museum
🟢 Why? The soft morning light in Jaipur pairs beautifully with pastel hues.
3. Boho Casual
For Her: Maxi dress, jumpsuit, or flowy kurta
For Him: Casual shirt with chinos or light denim
Perfect For: Nahargarh Fort, Panna Meena Ka Kund
Tumblr media
4. Modern Glam Look
For Her: Evening gown or fusion Indo-Western outfit
For Him: Black tuxedo or dark velvet bandhgala
Perfect For: Taj Jai Mahal Palace, Fairmont Jaipur
🟢 Use this look for: Twilight/sunset golden hour photography.
5. Ethereal White Theme
For Her: White Anarkali or chiffon saree
For Him: White kurta or a cream-colored suit
Perfect For: Hawa Mahal backdrop or a heritage garden setting
