Shevaun Haldane’s father was one of the founding members of the shadowy organizations known as Mys-Tech.  This organization utilized ultra-modern technology to gain power and influence by way of occult and supernatural practices.  Shevaun’s father made the mistake of trying to manipulate the demonic entity known as Mephisto and paid for his folly with his life.  

Although she had nothing to do with these matters, Shevaun felt a sense of responsibility over the evil her father and his colleagues had committed and she swore that she would see Mys-Tech destroyed.  A being calling itself The Dark Angel approached Shevaun and offered her a fragment of the Fabric of the Universe.  The relic attached itself to Shevaun’s body and became her costume, granting her enormous power and knowledge.  She dubbed herself ‘The Hell’s Angel’ and set about fighting evil in its various forms.   Following many adventures, Hell’s Angel was successful in destroying Mys-Tech.  

During the War of Realms event, Shevaun (now going by the alias ‘Dark Angel’) took a position as Tony Stark’s mystical consultant, helping him with the Dark Bride and infiltrating Svartalfheim to take on Malekith the Accursed.

The heroine first appeared in the pages of Hell's Angel #1 (1992).

3-25-2019. Dark Angel (Shevaun Haldane), originally Hell's Angel, is a fictional superheroine from the Marvel Comics imprint Marvel UK. She first appeared in Hell's Angel #1 (July 1992); the character and the comic book were both renamed to Dark Angel with issue #6 due to legal threats from the Hells Angels biker club. Their lawsuit was settled by Marvel agreeing to pay $35,000.00 as a charitable gift to Ronald McDonald House in the name of both Marvel and the Hell's Angels, in addition to renaming the character.[In the Middle Ages, the sorcerers who would become the Mys-Tech Board of Directors were granted immortality by the demon Mephisto in exchange for the continued sacrifice of mortal souls. One of these men, Ranaulph Haldane, had a daughter named Shevaun in the modern period. When Shevaun was 21 years old, Mephisto killed her father for betraying him. Shevaun then saw the Angel of Death arrive for her father. The angel placed a fragment of the universe itself within Shevaun, and gave her a suit of high-tech body armor to control her new power. She fought Mys-Tech's agents and other techno-magical monsters across the Earth, in other dimensions, and in the afterlife. She teamed up with numerous other American heroes and anti-heroes in the process, including the X-Men (particularly Wolverine and Psylocke), Hercules, Sabretooth, Doctor Strange, the Fantastic Four and the Avengers, as well as the "soul fragments" of the deceased Nuke and Nighthawk of the Squadron Supreme. A classic "draw the character naked, nipple and all, and then cover it up with the ink and color" move. They are really going all out with this for Dark Angel's last books...

Our next new book is Hell’s Angel... which I am just... shook that they thought they could use this name and not have some kind of backlash... but I’ll talk about that more in a few books...

Also, a big thing about these book is that there is a LARGE amount of non UK character crossover, so you see like Spider-Man and the X-Men... but the UK characters pretty much don’t cross over with the non UK book...
