US didn't win a Gold in the Shooting Competition in the Olympics because while having similar Gun Systems to Switzerland, America's republic sister state, most of the civilian sector never actually learned to train with Guns.
It's unfortunately a Modern American Culture Problem and most people clowned on it saying Jokes about School Shootings, while my dark sense of Humour thinks of it as pretty Funny, the Historical side of me knows it's more Complicated than that.
The Culture thing goes WAY back to the Independence of America, where the American Founding Fathers wanted a Well Regulated Militia instead of a Centralised Military, they were inspired by Switzerland's idea of Arming and training their Citizens, as a DUTY to protect their Home.
But America decided to become basically an Empire after the Constitution and death of the Founders, this did away with the "DUTY" section of the Second Amendment:
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State"
(There was no need for a Militia, for there was a Military)
"The right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
(This Leaves only the "RIGHT" part of the Second Amendment)
WHAT MADE THIS EVEN WORSE was that the NRA, National Rifle Association, started as a non Political Organisation to help Americans be a better Marksman and more RESPONSIBLE ones at that, they became political after it got taken over in the 70s by a bunch of guys that started twisting the Second Amendment even more.
Saying that it's an INDIVIDUAL Right and IT WORKED(Mostly because Americans became increasingly distrusting of the government and Crime was Rampant over the years)
If you were living in the Southern parts of America in the 80s, you would probably have had Riflery Classes while you were in High School. But it got removed.
So no REGULATIONS, no REAL TRAINING(if you don't count meh Pistol courses) and BAD GOVERNMENT SHENANIGANS

Lexa stood at the range, her stance relaxed yet focused as she chatted with Anya, another competitor on their Olympic shooting team. They were waiting for the next round to begin, discussing strategies and sizing up the competition. Suddenly, something at the entrance caught Lexa's eye.
Clarke Griffin walked in, looking like she had barely managed to get out of bed. Her blonde hair had a distinct bedhead look, her clothes slightly wrinkled, and she was wearing a pair of simple eyeglasses instead of the elaborate eye gear most competitors wore. The sight drew a few puzzled looks from those around.
Anya nudged Lexa, smirking. "Is she serious? She looks like she just rolled out of bed."
Lexa’s lips curved into a knowing smile as she watched Clarke make her way to the shooting table. Despite the disheveled appearance, Clarke moved with an air of confidence that was unmistakable.
Clarke reached her station, her expression calm and indifferent to the attention she was drawing. With an easy motion, she slid one hand into her pocket and picked up the handgun with the other.
Despite her casual demeanor, there was a palpable tension in the air. She gave the target a quick glance, then casually raised the weapon, taking aim.
Without hesitation, she fired. The shots rang out in quick succession, each one striking the target dead center. Her accuracy was flawless, her movements smooth and precise, all while maintaining her relaxed posture with one hand still tucked away.
Anya’s smirk vanished, replaced by a look of genuine surprise. She turned to Lexa, shaking her head slightly. "Who is she? She’s something else."
Lexa chuckled, her eyes fixed on Clarke. "That’s Clarke Griffin."
Clarke turned to look at Lexa and Anya, a satisfied grin tugging at her lips. "What? Did you think I needed more than these glasses?"
Lexa met her gaze, her smile widening. "Never doubted it for a second."
Clarke set her handgun down on the table and stepped away from the shooting station, her impressive performance clearly concluded. Still grinning, she took a step closer to Lexa, her eyes glinting with playful mischief behind her glasses. "You know, you should be getting ready for round two."
Lexa raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Round two?"
Clarke leaned in, her voice dropping to a teasing whisper. "In my room. Better bring your A-game, Woods."
Lexa felt a surge of excitement mixed with arousal. She returned Clarke’s grin, her voice low and confident. "I’m always ready, Griffin. Just make sure you can keep up."
Clarke winked, turning to walk away with a casual swagger. "Oh, don’t worry. I’ll be waiting."

I just saw a post of a FanArt of Richard Greyson winning gold medals at the Olympics…
so an idea comes to mind…
A crazy guy is stalking the US Olympic team, at first the classic letters from a disturbing stalker, worrying but not enough to do anything more than increase security and start an investigation, after all they are in the middle of the inauguration and there is not much that can be done…
they don't plan to cancel anything… until the truck where the athletes are leaving the event is sabotaged/attacked…
despite the vehicle overturning, most of them had a scare and some bruises… but there are several of them who were left with injuries that prevent them from continuing in the competition.
which should end with the withdrawal of some competitions by the United States… but luckily they meet some of the Wayne boys who came to see the event and they are willing to be substitutes, even if it's just to fill in the spots…
Meanwhile, the Batkids are taking some time off, and by unanimous decision (no one votes against Cas) they decide to go see the opening and some events of the Olympics, what they didn't expect was to find a case involving the Olympic team, where everything seems to point to someone within it, targeting other athletes.
So they decide to investigate from within.
