The #Delhi government had recently filed an FIR against #GangaRamHospital for breaking the #COVID19 regulation. A lawsuit was filed against the hospital under the #EpidemicAct. During this, Chief Minister #ArvindKejriwal had also made a video conference and accused several hospitals in Delhi for bullying with opposition parties. After this, the #Delhigovernment had filed an FIR on Sir Gangaram Hospital. An FIR was lodged under Section 154 of the #IPC. It was #alleged that the hospital was not providing facilities to the people according to its capacity. It was charged with non-recruitment and #blackmarketing of beds. #Corona test was #banned due to not using the #RT-PCR app The #FIR stated that the #hospital is not using the RT-PCR app to investigate corona suspects which is clearly a violation of the epidemic act. On June 3, the Delhi government sent a letter to the #SirGangaRamHospital administration, stating that the hospital was not using the RT-PCR app to investigate corona suspects, which is a violation of the epidemic act. Therefore, there will be no corona examination in the hospital now. After this, the hospital management today approached the #Highcourt. The hospital filed a petition in the High Court seeking cancellation of the FIR made on it, the court has fixed June 15 for hearing. दिल्ली के डॉक्टरों का अद्भुत कारनामा, मरीज के शरीर से निकाली 7.4 किलो वजनी किडनी

चैतन्य भारत न्यूज दिल्ली. राजधानी दिल्ली में सर गंगा राम अस्पताल के डॉक्टरों ने एक मरीज के शरीर से 7.4 किलो वजनी किडनी निकालने का दावा किया है। इस किडनी का आकार 32x21.8 सेमी है। डॉक्टरों का कहना है कि यह भारत की सबसे वजनी और दुनिया की तीसरी सबसे वजनी किडनी है। (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || ).push({}); खबरों के मुताबिक, जिस शख्स की यह किडनी है, वह दिल्ली का रहने वाला है और उसकी उम्र 56 साल है। डॉक्टरों का कहना है कि, यह मरीज ऑटोसोमल डोमिनेंट पॉलीसिस्टिक किडनी डिजीज नामक एक जेनेटिक डिसऑर्डर से पीड़ित था। इसके बाद उसके स्वास्थ्य को देखते हुए यह ऑपरेशन करने का फैसला लिया। 2006 से चल रहा उपचार  अस्पताल के यूरोलॉजी विभाग के डॉ. सचिन कथूरिया ने बताया कि, दिल्ली निवासी यह मरीज साल 2006 से उपचार के लिए अस्पताल आ रहा था। वह ऑटोसोमल डोमिनेंट पॉलीसिस्टिक किडनी रोग से पीड़ित थे। यह एक आनुवांशिक बीमारी है जिसमें दोनों किडनी में तरल रूप में सिस्ट बनने लगाता है और सूजन आ जाती है। दो सर्जरी के बाद किडनी को निकाला  उन्होंने बताया कि मरीज के पेट के बाएं ओर पिछले कुछ दिनों से काफी दर्द हो रहा था और सांस लेने में परेशानी हो रही थी। जांच में पाया गया कि उनकी बाईं किडनी के अंदर ब्लीडिंग और संक्रमण हो गया है। प्री-ऑपरेटिव स्कैन में एक बड़ी किडनी दिखाई दे रही थी। करीब दो घंटे की सर्जरी के बाद किडनी को बाहर निकाला जा सका। कहा जा रहा है कि जल्द ही अस्पताल के डॉक्टर इस मामले को गिनीज वर्ल्ड ऑफ रिकॉर्ड में दर्ज कराने के लिए आवेदन देंगे। सामान्य किडनी का वजन डॉक्टरों ने बताया कि, मरीज की किडनी का वजन दो नवजात बच्चों के कुल वजन से भी अधिक हो गया था। सामान्य किडनी का वजन लगभग 120-150 ग्राम होता है। जिस किडनी को निकाला गया उसका आकार 32 गुणा 21.8 सेमी था। उन्होंने कहा कि अगले दो से तीन दिन में मरीज को अस्पताल से छुट्टी दे दी जाएगी। देश में सबसे अधिक वजन की किडनी डॉक्टरों के मुताबिक, मेडिकल लिट्रेचर में पाया कि पहले दो भारी किडनी निकालने की रिपोर्ट दर्ज है, जिसमें एक 9 किलोग्राम की किडनी अमेरिका में और दूसरी 8.7 किलोग्राम की किडनी नीदरलैंड में निकाली गई थी। यह अब तक निकाली जाने वाली तीसरी सबसे भारी किडनी है। वर्तमान में निकाली गई किडनी के लिए गिनीज वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड में दुबई के अस्पताल के डॉक्टरों के नाम दर्ज है, जिन्होंने 2017 में पॉलीसिस्टिक किडनी रोग से पीड़ित एक मरीज से 4.25 किलोग्राम किडनी निकाली थी। ये भी पढ़े... पहनने योग्य कृत्रिम किडनी से पेरिटोनियल डायलिसिस होगी आसान, बन गई नई तकनीक आखिरकार हिचकी आने की वजह पता कर ली वैज्ञानिकों ने, याद आने से कोई संबंध नहीं जानें कितनी खतरनाक बीमारी है डायबिटीज, बेहद खास है इस बार की थीम Read the full article

Largest in-situ (inside body) tumour removed from thigh Leg saved from amputation Tumour removed was of the size 37cmx18cmx12cm weighing 12 kgs The largest earlier reported was 32cmx13.5cmx5.5cm by University of Miami in 2014 Praveen Kumar Gupta, 18 year old male was admitted to Department of Orthopaedics, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on 26th December with huge swelling in the left thigh. Investigations revealed that there was a huge tumour of the size of 37cmx18cmx12cm which was involving the hip and the full length of back of the thigh. The swelling appeared in 2012, and gradually increased to present size. It was so huge and painful that he was not able to walk or sit properly. Due to pressure on nerves and blood vessels, there was weakness and loss of sensations in the limb. Mr Gupta approached many hospitals who had advised amputation of the leg, for which he was not ready.  The challenge was not only to successfully remove this huge tumour but also to save the limb. To overcome this, a medical board was formed consisting of Departments of Orthopaedics, Vascular Surgery, Plastic Surgery & Anaesthesiology. According to Dr Brajesh Nandan, Orthopaedic Onco-Surgeon, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital,“Preservation of the limb along with successful removal of the tumour was a big challenge. According to the reported literature, this was the largest tumour ever removed from inside the thigh, without compromising the limb. The largest earlier reported was 32cmx13.5cmx5.5cm by University of Miami in 2014 (http://www.hindawi.com/journals/crim/2014/794648)” According to Dr Ambrish Satwick, Vascular & Endovascular Surgeon, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, “The tumour was perfused by rich blood supply making it highly vascular in nature. Before the removal, our team performed a procedure called pre-operative embolization, a night before surgery. We blocked the blood supply to the tumour to reduce blood loss during the surgical excision. The main challenge was that blood supply of the tumour was adjoining the main blood supply of the lower limb. Any untoward incident could have led to disastrous amputation. With this in mind, very cautiously, using road-map guidance software, we successfully blocked the main blood vessel supplying blood to the tumour without compromising blood supply to the limb.” After cutting the blood supply to the tumour the patient was taken for surgery which was performed on January 3rd2019, by the team of 7 Surgeons, including Ortho-Onco-Surgeon, Dr Brajesh Nandan, Plastic Surgeon Dr Anubhav Gupta, Assistant surgeons, Dr Ravi, Dr Sumedh, Dr Ram, Dr Vivek and Anaesthesiologist Dr Archana Koul. Dr Brajesh Nandan and his team meticulously dissected the tumour which was strongly adherent to surrounding vital structures, blood vessels and nerve. The team encountered a lot of blood vessels supplying blood to the tumour during the surgery. They were carefully ligated (tied).  According to Dr. Jayashree Sood, Chairperson, Department of Anaesthesiology, Pain and Perioperative Medicine, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, “This was a challenging case for anaesthesia because it was a long surgery performed in the prone position (lying on abdomen), which has its own problems. Blood loss was anticipated, but managed with meticulous surgical and anaesthetic technique.” The surgery took 9 ½ hours and only one unit of blood was transfused.
