I've been working on this for a while!
Was once again supposed to be an up to date pic of the whole logical proposals gang but yanno in an alternate dimension where no children die & everything is cool and good.
@vivificanousprime I really love the story as is but it would have been wonderful if some of the kids had been able to meet.

Do you have any hcs on how the elite trine are with Soundwave’s cassettes?
Yeah >:3
First of all, the trine love the little menaces, but of course they have their favorites. Starscream’s is Ravage, Skywarp’s are Rumble and Frenzy, and Thundercracker enjoys Lazerbeak and Squawktalk.
Despite their favoritism, Skywarp is the one that enjoys the cassettes the most. It’s often that Skywarp ropes the little cons into his pranks or pulls pranks on them. Tussling with Rumble and Frenzy is a favorite pastime of his as well. They may act like they hate each other but Skywarp would rather kiss Tarn than lose these little bastards, and that’s saying something. He also likes Slugfest but that’s because the cassette is easy to nip at.
Thundercracker is mostly indifferent but he enjoys when they hang around. He especially enjoys when Lazerbeak and Squawktalk decide to talk around him, he finds the noise pleasant and offers minimal responses when inquired. Beastbox and him also get along to a lesser degree but they’re on good terms because Squawktalk likes him.
Then there’s Starscream who shows pure favoritism to Ravage. He is all over that kitty cat and if you can’t find her then there’s a good chance she’s happily snuggled in the seeker’s lap while he cleans her. He almost likes Overkill for his brutality but he definitely prefers Ravage because Starscream is a massive sucker for cats.
Ratbat and Buzzsaw aren’t really social cassettes so they stay away from the trine.
And then there’s well Enemy. But no one really gets along with Enemy. Especially Skywarp. Skywarp and Enemy arent allowed in the same room anymore.

What Stands I think the Logical Proposals wavewave family would have:
Soundwave: Hermit Purple. This one's pretty easy, it's got everything a wave of sound could want: break a camera and get photos of a picture anywhere in the world, have a screen to project onto and read minds, just use the vines on a TV screen and get a message like "x is a traitor". Or Moody Blues since being able to see and hear what happened to a singular person would make for great intell depending on who it is.
Shockwave: Gold Experience. Shockwave would love having it, funding becomes a far smaller issue if he can grow the body parts himself. Not to mention the research he'd do testing the limits, how big can the being he grows be relative to the original objects mass? Can he grow an extinct species? And he'd love finding these things out.
Ravage: Harvest. Being the only responsible child is hard, much easier when you have 500 tiny buggers to keep watch on everyone.
Buzzsaw: Kraft Work. Given his weapon building I feel like he'd find some use for being able to store however much kinetic energy in an object he desires then release it all at once.
Laserbeak: Mr. President. With the caveat that he just had the user on him at all times. Laserbeak wants a nap, just pull out Mr. President, hide it, and take a nap in the key room, he can even fill it with all his favourite blankets.
Rumble & Frenzy: Star Platinum & The World. This one's the most obvious, SP and TW stop time for 5 seconds, that's 5 seconds of free prank set up.
Enemy: Survivor. Probably a bit too surface level for his character but it makes sense. He wants enemies, Survivor makes everyone around him so mad they start beating each other to death.
Flip Sides: Sticky Fingers. It's got a pocket dimension to explore long range travel purposes with (idk if it can do that but presumably if Sticky Fingers opened a zipper in one place then went hundreds of miles away and opened another they should connect) and I think Flips would find that interesting.
Beastbox: Man in the Mirror. So long as he has a mirror shard with him he can hide away in the mirror world whenever he's feeling overwhelmed and come back when he feels better.
Slugfest: Pearl Jam. He may not be a cook, but given the positive effects Pearl Jam has on the consumers he'd absolutely learn how to cook to give healing meals to refugees.
Squawktalk: Bohemian Rhapsody. I don't know if It works if it's only audio but it turns fiction to life and what better way to tell your stories then making them real? (Just ignore the part where people are forced to play a part in the stories, usually the one who dies)
Garboil: Earth, Wind and Fire. Technically not a stand (but maybe it is who knows) the shapeshifting would be really handy for painting, don't wanna use a picture or just memory to base a drawing on? Just shapeshift into what you wanna draw.
Overkill: Scary Monsters. It can turn people into dinosaurs. He'd finally have Dino friends that the Autobots don't steal away before begging to hand them back. (Targets of it retain their sentience right? I can't remember)
Howlback: Killer Queen. This isn't because of the fact it's a cat, nor is it about it being able to turn objects into bombs or its tertiary bomb Bites the Dust being able to rewind time an hour. No, this is about Sheer Heart Attack being indestructible and as such the perfect thing to enjoy biting to no end, and honestly what more does Howlback even want in life?
Ratbat: Kiss. Sure, the duplicated objects crash back together after the sticker comes off, but so long as that happens long after he sells them it's not his problem.
Wingthing: I'mma be real, I got nothing, he got killed in the great cassette culling of chapter 36 and he was introduced in that chapter. Weather Report? Because he wanted to know how rain works?

Overkill and Slugfest
Some experiments using Vidu's reference-to-video feature with the old G1 package art as the character reference.
These were done with a minimum prompt, a standardized live-action film prompt I use for testing.
While clearly not photoreal, I kind of like the odd near-animated look that it provides. Vidu's reference feature can alter the look of the referenced item to a degree, but art style conversion is difficult for it, requiring the changes be made prior to the creation.
Doing so produces a much more live-action look, though less artsy due to it.
Process and some prompts under the fold.

I used midjourney's retexture overpainting process to generate a stack of miscolored overkills that I composited and adjusted into a quick-and-dirty reference.
The prompt I used for this:
full sized mechanical puppet-prop for live-action film, photographed against white background. A robotic dinosaur with angular, body design aesthetics, blue lower jaw, claws, legs, gunmetal body and head, silver missile launcher. 5k, photograph taken with kodak, official media, promotional image, white background/backdrop
I call it a Q&D reference because if you're doing anything more fully realized, you want front/back/side references, model sheet style. Otherwise, your details will shift if the character ever turns around, and the robot is going to be reluctant to do that in general if it doesn't have back-reference.
The backgrounds, too, were reference prompts. This is why Tulsa Gamma Ray is spelled correctly on the sign. This also helps with aesthetics, as your text prompt needs to be robust with anything not shown in an image prompt or else it will take on an uncanny or "on a greenscreen" stage look.
My standard prompt I used is:
live action motion picture film scene, 1989, filmed on 35mm film. directed by stanley kubric and luc besson. ILM, weta digital, stan winston studios, jim henson creature shop, masterful traditional practical special effects, costuming. Professional cinematography and lighting. dramatic and cool. live action film scene, professional lighting and cinematography, masterful practical special effects, costuming and set design. filmed in 1989
These were part of a minimal-influence test, to see what the vidu system would do with minimal direction. It does seem to be able to pick up certain context clues from the reference. It recognizes they're dinosaur-like and makes them move accordingly, for instance.
It understands, to a degree, that they're meant to be machines, and wheere it does add details, it's greebles rather than muscle or scales.
On the other hand, cars sometimes drive backwards. It's a rich tapestry, is what I'm saying.

Alright 5th batch of CONSxSSO and today we have some of Soundwave's children
We have SlugFest OverKill LaserBeak (the fav) BuzzSaw and thing (AutoScout)
0 notes
Note
Not an ask, it's just that I've been going through the tf wiki lately and learned that Soundwave has like 17 cassettes.
Rumble(Minimech), Frenzy(Minimech), Enemy(Minimech), Flin Sides(Minimech), Ravege(Pantherbot), Howlback(Pantherbot), Glit(Pantherbot), Laserbeak(Birdbot), Buzzsaw(Birdbot), Sundor(Birdbot), Garboil(Birdbot), Squawktalk(Birdbot), Ratbat(Batbot), Wingthing(Batbot), Beastbox(Apebot), Slugfest(Spinobot), Overkill(T-Rexbot)

That's a lot a kids for the man to birth on his own, but I love my male wife and his army of sparklings
Oh, my goodness. I knew some of these, but not all of them. Poor guy 🤣 I can imagine him just releasing all of them to accost the reader who naively volunteered to babysit without having a clue how many cassettes there were just so he could have a break
This little cutie came yesterday.

Scenario- cassettes
Soundwave x Reader
• “Seriously. I can watch the cassettes for a little while. You deserve a break,” you say as he stares tiredly down at you. Poor guy, not only babysitting his four kids, but the whole Decepticon force from what you’ve seen. He needs some time alone with no one bothering him. “Trust me.” Want him to be able to take some time, to be able to trust you with his kids.
• Mentally and physically exhausted from playing interference between your two other mates and taking care of his cassettes, it’s so tempting to take you up on the offer to let you watch the cassettes so he can just recharge in peace. And he supposes he should introduce you to the rest of them. Let you get to know all of his family. Your family now. Venting he touches his cassette compartment. “Everyone: eject.”
• Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage, and Lazerbeak respond immediately. But then the cassette compartment stays open. Two more ejecting that you don’t recognize. Smile growing strained by the seventh cassette and you’re beginning to worry. Wait. How many kids does your husband have? No wonder he’s so tired. Ten. Thirteen. They’re all bigger than you are as they crowd around you asking you about humans, about you. Sixteen? Or was that seventeen? Looking helplessly up at Soundwave as Frenzy and Rumble both start introducing their siblings. At the same time.
• Almost feels bad as you shoot him a terrified look, your smile slightly manic. Making him realize that he’d never actually told you how many cassettes he has. “I wouldn’t be offended if-” he begins, but you hold up a hand as Buzzsaw tries to land on your shoulder and knocks you down instead. Hears your muffled ‘I’ve got this’ while Ravage grabs you by a leg and begins dragging you, his horde of cassettes following and asking questions. You’ll probably be fine for a little while.

I’ve been wanting to ask about your Humanformer Soundwave and the rest of their “Cassettes” and what kind of relationship they have with all of them
We’ve seen Ravage and Laserbeak (and we know that they have a familial relationship)
I’ve also seen a reference drawing of Rumble and Frenzy, mentions of Buzzsaw and even Glit, but I’ve been curious about the rest of the “cassettes”. Them being: Enemy, Flipsides, Garboil, Squawktalk, Sundor, Wingthing, “Cassette”!RatBat, Howlback, Beastbox, Overkill, and Slugfest
(I’ve asked this on the other account but after seeing this one, I was unsure whether or not I needed to ask specifically here)
Hello hello! I did see your earlier ask a while back but it’s been buried under a pile of other asks now—very sorry!— but thank you for resending it here! Lore questions would indeed be better directed here so it’s clear of the personal natter on my Main haha.
Regarding your question, all of them—except for RatBat—are currently alive in the universe, but are not all Decepticons. They’re more aligned with Soundwave that’s they are with the Decepticon agenda at the end of the day.
The gist of it is that they were part of a project by RatBat (back then a senator) to create Beastmen in adulthood/force the mutations rather than rely on prenatal genetic editing of Cold Constructs to get the results they want.
When Soundwave found out about this and were EXTREMELY PO’ed about it (They got permission from Megatron to deal with RatBat personally), a fight happened at RatBat’s lab and RatBat became a accidental victim of the same tech he was bankrolling, and became a Beastman as well.
Soundwave freed the others who were locked there for testing and told them that since RatBat is personally responsible for what happened to them, that they had more right to decide on his fate than Soundwave did, and Soundwave left RatBat to their mercies (or lack thereof) while they collected data on the experiments to destroy.
RatBat did not survive their trial by mob justice and after it was over, Soundwave offered to bring them to the Decepticons; Some agreed, others wanted to make their own way in the world, but all still answer to Soundwave’s call for aid whenever it comes in.
I believe one of my mutuals is working with Howlback and Beastbox! The rest are side characters currently with no development yet, though people are free to pick them up and play with them in this sandbox!

Round 3, Match 11: Soundwave vs. Kanan Jarrus and Hera Syndulla
Submitted kids:
Soundwave: Rumble, Frenzy, Laserbeak, Ravage, Ratbat, Garboil, Enemy, Wingthing, Beastbox, Squalktalk, Glit, Howlback, Slugfest, Overkill, Sundor, and Autoscout but there's bound to be more I'm forgetting. (Buzzsaw.)
Kanan and Hera: Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren, Zeb Orrelios, Chopper
Propaganda under the cut!
Soundwave:
1. “This is a dude who stores smaller dudes in his boob and he usually launches them out at high speeds to commit crimes. Fandom loves to headcanon them as a dad and his horde of kids and pets.”
2. “#he literally is a single mother of like 18 and they all live inside of his chest #and the only time he gets close to showing emotion is when something happens to one of them”
Kanan and Hera:
“The parents ever. Healthiest family dynamics in the galaxy. Families that kill fascists together stay together. Kanan managed to keep an extremely traumatized child on the light side of the force, Hera kept a volatile Mandalorian from blowing herself up (and Chopper from murdering everyone). So good at adopting, they taught Ezra to adopt uncles with increasingly homicidal tendencies. So good at adopting, they successfully competed with the aforementioned crime uncles and kept Ezra. So good at adopting, they managed to adopt a grown ass man 10 years older than them.”

🏹🎭Drowned In Emotion🎭🏹
[I'm semi active here lmao, just tryna be active here too and I'm too lazy to type things over so yeet]
So one day I was feeling like drawing/writing something angsty, so here we are
Fanart for @soundbluster-arts hope ya like it :D
The arrows got a meaning, can you guess what it is by the colours?
Okay I tell you, they represent the symbiotes that Soundy had lost and the emotional impact it had on him
I feel like Laserbeak's might've impacted a bit more which is why his arrow is bigger than the rest
I didn't dare to guess who else Soundy might've lost, so I only relied on the very old Soundwave and Ravage asks where this topic was in (I think they were one of the first ones? Flashbox literally interviewing them back then xD)
I gotta admit tho when I first time read those asks, I looked at Garboil and was like "who are you?" And for some reason kept mixing them up with either Slugfest or Overkill, like I was very confused when I tried to compare (the Soundwave ask post's Garboil and the reference sheet) who is who pretty much IGNORING the names (or thinking there might've been a "mistake", don't know which) lmao until now during the research did I understood that Garboil was de bird, DE BIRD XDD
But yea, in case you don't recognise the colour palettes, it's Laserbeak, Wingthing, Garboil and Buzzsaw (I had a little struggle choosing the palette for Wingthing as in don't know if I go with yellow, reddish brown or dark grey but ultimately decided to go with yellow despite it being kind of a highlight more than dominant colour)
This was also the first time I drew Soundwave in full body and I'm damn happy with it and this whole piece in general, I think I struggled with the legs tho xD and I also didn't know what to do with his right hand so now it's just kinda not really grabbing the arrow but just being there
Anyway, I should stop rambling before this gets too long xD guess I got a lot to talk about

JD’s personal belongings in the AU.
A lovingly documented binder of Dinosaurs Attack! cards arranged in order of the story. Still missing a few key moments of the story he is determined to finish.
Some personal items of his mother, Jocelyn, he keeps in a tiny box hidden from his father, who threw everything out when she died. Mostly movie ticket stubs from movies JD and Jocelyn saw when he was little, some jewelry, and a t-shirt of her favorite band. His most cherished yet cursed belonging is the key lock he wears, the only thing he found in the rubble of the building his mom suicided in. JD had a fight with his mom the day before over his dad, and JD blames himself for pushing Jocelyn to suicide. (It wasn’t his fault, as Jocelyn had already planned to do this anyway, and emotions were raw then.)
A sizable stack of 7-11 cups he collected from Las Vegas to Boston, each having a different style logo and promotion to show how long he’s been suffering.
A lava lamp.
A 70’s transistor radio he keeps by his bed.
A harmonica he usually keeps in his pocket and plays when he’s sad… which is often.
A pocket knife. Usually used for mundane purposes, though during a particularly bad mental health day, he considered suicide and attempted to cut himself, but instead just threw the blade at the wall of his room in frustration. The blade hung there for days until he finally took it down.
His gun. Originally he bought it for self defense due to Bud moving them into particularly dangerous crime ridden areas. It saw the most use in Hawkins and later Sherwood. He sleeps with it, keeping it under his pillow due to Hawkins PTSD and mild paranoia.
An old toy pop gun from an old Cowboy Halloween costume he had when he was five, from a memorable Halloween where he got a massive haul of candy.
Some assorted posters from his favorite bands and movies, like Big Fun, the Pixies, Westworld and Godzilla, though they’re beat up and torn from how often he’s had to take them down and hang them back up.
A small stack of classic literature and pulp science fiction, most of the former technically stolen from libraries of moves past. Moby Dick, Huckleberry Finn and Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde are the most well read and worn, with him currently working through the original Jaws novel.
A small Transformers collection that was spurned on by Dan when they originally met. Besides Fangry, his collection is incomplete Special Teams mostly. Dinobots Slag (his favorite dinosaur happens to be the triceratops) and Snarl, Terrorcons Rippersnapper, Cutthroat and Sinnertwin (partly for their edgy names), Pretender Rattletrap, Cassettes Overkill and Slugfest, and 2/3 of the Triggerbots and Triggercons. (He’s missing Backstreet and Crankcase, and the flip out guns amuse him.) His holy grail are the Japanese exclusive Autobot Dinosaur Cassettes. When JD gets stressed or anxious, he’ll start fidgeting with whatever Transformer is in reach, transforming it over and over.
JD’s clothes are similar to what’s seen in the original movie, though he also has some 7-11 t-shirts, with a Pac-Man one he wears the most. He also has a fascination with McDonald’s Mac Tonight, and has some t-shirts related to him he wears around the house.
When JD moves in with the Bravermans at the end of the Westerberg adventure, most of his stuff was confiscated by authorities investigating fraud from his dad’s company when Bud died in a construction accident, leaving him with only a few clothes, books and figures he could comfortably carry in a duffel bag.

JoJo characters I think would have interesting interactions with @vivificanousprime's Wavewave family.
Soundwave: Part 6 Jotaro, given Soundwave’s immense love for his family I feel like hearing how Jotaro gave up all contact with his daughter causing her to hate him for her safety would break something in Soundwave. Also Joseph because I doubt Soundwave looks kindly on cheaters. Pucci is another good candidate for reasons I’ll mention with Flip Sides.
Shockwave: Cioccolata, purely because of the contrast between the doctor who tortures their patients because he finds it fun and the doctor who tortures his test subjects because it’s only logical for the advancement of science.
Ravage: Prosciutto, while Ravage would probably dislike Prosciutto’s harsher treatment of his younger brother compared to Ravage not doing so unless something’s pushing her to do so I feel like there’d be some mutual respect over being the oldest sibling given Prosciutto doing his best to stay alive despite his injuries for the sake of his brother and being genuinely proud of his brother’s growth.
Laserbeak & Buzzsaw: Imma be real, I spent a good 10 minutes trying to figure out which JoJo characters would be interesting for them to interact with, but I just can’t think of anyone :(
Rumble & Frenzy: the best JoJo, Jolyne, solely because I can imagine her teaching them all the different ways she knows to flip someone off plus she, and Joseph, would probably vibe with the pranks. Also Ermes and specifically Frenzy because I can see them bonding over wanting revenge for their siblings death.
Beastbox: Jonathan, mainly because he emits pure positivity and I can imagine Beast getting overwhelmed and Jonathan gently and kindly helping him through it.
Enemy: On the one hand DIO because he’d probably be impressed that DIO ended up basically being the enemy of an entire bloodline, on the other hand he and Part 3 Jotaro do share similarities in that they’re both assholes to a lot of their family but deep down would do anything for them.
Flip Sides: Pucci, given Flip Sides own religious nature and Pucci being a catholic priest, I feel like he’d end up having a long philosophical talk with Pucci about their religions, I’d also be curious on Flip’s view of what Pucci believes to be “Heaven” that being everyone knowing what they’re fate is, doubly so given Pucci turned to this belief due to the death of his sister considering Enemy. Same goes for Soundwave and Pucci just multiplied by a factor of ten due to all the poor, poor corpssettes.
Squawktalk: Mikitaka, solely because I can imagine him taking what Squawktalk says at face value and thinking it’s all true and Squawktalk in turn would probably believe Mikitaka about being an alien… wait, a non-human alien.
Garboil: Rohan, I can absolutely see him complimenting and appreciating Garboil’s art especially his larger piece in the throne room, but given he’s an asshole and I can also absolutely see him at some point insulting Squawktalk and getting beat up by the family for it.
Howlback: Stray Cat, one’s a robot cat, the other’s a plant cat, I doubt there’d really be any interaction, but I feel like they’d just vibe together.
Overkill: Giorno, given he’s shown to have a soft spot for kids I can see him making a smaller dinosaur using Gold Experience to the excitement of Overkill.
Slugfest: Jonathan, Slugfest is kindness incarnate, Jonathan is arguably even more kindness incarnate, put them together and there’ll be a room filled with only love for others.
Wingthing:... chapter 36 :,(
Ratbat: I wanna say Joseph and Speedwagon given they’re both people in charge of rich companies and I can see Ratbat trying to talk finance with them.
