Description: I used to work for Welcome Wagon Ltd. as the Business Professional Representative and Community Ambassador for the Lower Mainland, here in BC Canada. I welcomed those who were new to the community and needed a welcome into the community. One day on a welcome visit to a Home-Based Business, I met with an incredible woman at a Timmy's in Aldergrove. The lady had a massage therapy company and she commented to me that she was blessed with “healing hands”; and she should help me with my back problems someday…… She worked out of her van, so she would come to you with her tools and experience. She was also a naturalist and loved to bring light into people's lives, ergo the sun and flower. I know she brought a lot of light into my life. I was interested in her way of looking at life and circumstance. She was a spiritualist and saw people's auras; and that is why you see the shimmering on this picture with the different colors of auras. It inspired me to make this print. She was so full of life; the reason for the fire. I needed to grasp her energy and find presence in its meaning. That night, I spent until the wee hours of the morning drawing the different aspects of this lady’s life into this scene. I got the inspiration-bee. I felt like I met an angel that day; and that is why this piece has wings. If you want your print to be laminated, that can be done at a minimal extra cost. I was thinking this picture could become an awesome placemat, so if you choose to laminate them, every 4th picture and its lamination for that picture is FREE. And if you choose to put the picture into my picture frames that I sell in my “jusTAknacCraftsnSupplies” category, you will now have even more options of plain or laminated on the frame as well…., with the bonus of trimmed through crochet in the color of the aura you choose. LAMINATION can even be double sided as well; with the same or different colors of prints…the mix and matching is limitless. 10 AURA COLORS AND THEIR MEANINGS: Each of the seven chakras is associated with a color, so understanding chakra colors helps when deciphering auras. When you see a specific color, it means your chakra for that color is stable and unblocked. Red relates to the root chakra. This means you are likely an energetic and fiery person, which indicates someone who is "quick at putting thoughts into actions" or "doesn't read instruction manuals." Orange can relate to the sacral chakra of creativity and sexual energy, which indicates flowing creative energy. This might mean you "tend to learn lessons from experience rather than theory" and "often have to learn things the hard way." Yellow relates to the solar plexus chakra as a good sign that you are feeling confident and empowered as it represents your identity and confidence. It signifies someone who is sunny and charismatic; with a magnetic personality that attracts lots of different people. Green is associated with the heart chakra, relating to matters of the heart. You will love for yourself and others through compassion and forgiveness. You probably love music, nature, and not being tied down. With an open heart, you may also tend to be easily influenced by one's environment or other people. Making boundaries are important to you. Pink is also associated with the heart chakra. You wear your heart on your sleeve visible for all to see. You are kind, caring, and loving People will say you are open and receptive. Just a note here though you can celebrate your kind and compassionate nature but remember that you also need to keep boundaries. Blue is the color of the throat chakra. It is a sign of having a powerful mind—but one that might be a bit in the clouds, you might over think things a little bit. You are operating in the mental realms and need to keep focused on being grounded more than others to stay on top of your game. This allows you to be see beyond what is there and be insightful. in the olden days you would be called a Prophet that governed expression and truth. Purple is the color of the third-eye chakra, which deals with intuition and sensitivity, and great mental depths. You might even have some psychic, empathic, or intuitive abilities. White is connected to the crown chakra, which connects us to universal energy and oneness. It is rare to see concentrations of white in one's aura. But if you do, it is the sign of a very quick mind—and a tendency for perfectionism and nervous energy. (OCD). If you see it in your aura; it would mean you have a strong sense of connection to something larger than yourself. if there are black or particularly dark areas of your aura, this is not actually the "color" of your aura, but somewhat a sign that part of you is exhausted or fatigued and needing a break from being used by others. You need to take some time to ground, heal, and balance your energy levels to brighten up that aura a bit, and bring your energetic field (and chakras) back into balance. Rainbow On the slight chance that you have a rainbow aura that displays more than two colors, it is a sign that you are going through a super busy period or are in the midst of a change. You might feel particularly energized and confident when your aura is giving off rainbow vibes. You want to get out and meet new people and do new things. Be careful though, it can lead to burnout and be overwhelmed, so be sure to make time for relaxation too. I hope this helps when choosing the colors, you want. always moma jo

300+ TOP ELECTRICIAN Interview Questions and Answers
ELECTRICIAN Interview Questions :-
1. Working Principle Of Rotary Kiln Under High Temperature? The rotary kiln in the application area, the numbers to be most cement industry. The whole process of cement production line summarized as 'two ground a burn,' with 'a burning,' is made by grinding good raw material, in the high temperature of kiln under the action of the process of burning become clinker. The equipment is also widely used in metallurgical, chemical, building, refractory material, environmental protection, and other industries. The rotary kiln under high temperature overloaded alternating slow operation, and its annex equipment maintenance and thermal rail system related to the level of control of the rotary kiln working safety and efficiency. Therefore, rotary kiln cement produces the host, commonly known as the cement factory 'heart'.Rotary kiln cement industry forged in the main equipment burn the cement clinker. The stand or fall of sealing device directly affects the thermal rail system and run the rotary kiln capital. Strengthen rotary kiln daily maintenance data analysis of the pack; be helpful for equipment management work. Cement kiln is used for making of cement clinker and there are dry and wet methods to make cement. Rotary kiln is the main equipment for calcining cement clinker and it can be used widely for cement industry ,metallurgy industry ,chemical industry , etc.Which can be divided into cement kiln ,metallurgy chemical kiln and lime kiln according to different materials. 2. What Is The Difference Between Fuse And Circuit Breaker? Fuse: A fuse has a wire that melts with the heat of a short circuit or high current and interrupts the circuit. Once melted, you have to replace it. Circuit Breaker: A circuit breaker interrupts the current without melting ( a pair of metal sheets with different thermal expansion coefficient, for example) and can be reset. 3. What Services Do You Provide? We provide the following: Residential electrical work, central heating, cooling and air filtration Convenient, secure online self-scheduling for all your electrical needs Extended hours of operation: 7am -7pm Discounted member rates on labor and services A Home Electrical Safety Survey of all electrical systems for members. 4. This is used to describe the size and quantity of conductors in a cable. The first number specifies the gauge. The second the number of current carrying conductors in the wire - but remember there's usually an extra ground wire. "14-2" means 14 gauge, two insulated current carrying wires, plus bare ground. 2 wire usually has a black, white and bare ground wire. Sometimes the white is red instead for 220V circuits without neutral. In the latter case, the sheath is usually red too. 3 wire usually has a black, red, white and bare ground wire. Usually carrying 220V with neutral.

ELECTRICIAN Interview Questions 6. Breakers? Ca Not I Use Fuses? Statistics show that fuse panels have a significantly higher risk of causing a fire than breaker panels. This is usually due to the fuse being loosely screwed in, or the contacts corroding and heating up over time, or the wrong size fuse being installed, or the proverbial "replace the fuse with a penny" trick. Since breakers are more permanently installed, and have better connection mechanisms, the risk of fire is considerably less. Fuses are prone to explode under extremely high overload. When a fuse explodes, the metallic vapor cloud becomes a conducting path. Result? From complete meltdown of the electrical panel, melted service wiring, through fires in the electrical distribution transformer and having your house burn down.Breakers won't do this. 7. What Does A Fuse Or Breaker Do? What Are The Differences? Fuses and circuit breakers are designed to interrupt the power to a circuit when the current flow exceeds safe levels. For example, if your toaster shorts out, a fuse or breaker should "trip", protecting the wiring in the walls from melting. As such, fuses and breakers are primarily intended to protect the wiring -- UL or CSA approval supposedly indicates that the equipment itself won't cause a fire. Fuses contain a narrow strip of metal which is designed to melt (safely) when the current exceeds the rated value, there by interrupting the power to the circuit. Fuses trip relatively fast. Which can sometimes be a problem with motors which have large startup current surges. For motor circuits, you can use a "time-delay" fuse (one brand is "fusetron") which will avoid tripping on momentary overloads. A fusetron looks like a spring-loaded fuse. A fuse can only trip once, then it must be replaced. 8. What Is A Circuit? Inside the panel, connections are made to the incoming wires. These connections are then used to supply power to selected portions of the home. There are three different combinations: one hot, one neutral, and ground: 110V circuit. two hots, no neutral, and ground: 220V circuit. two hots, neutral, and ground: 220V circuit + neutral, and/or two 110V circuits with a common neutral. 9. My House Does Not Meet Some Of These Rules And Regulations. Do I Have To Upgrade? In general, there is no requirement to upgrade older dwellings, though there are some exceptions (ie: smoke detectors in some cases). However, any new work must be done according to the latest electrical code. Also, if you do ``major'' work, you may be required to upgrade certain existing portions or all of your system. Check with your local electrical inspector. 10. What Is Csa Approval? Every electrical device or component must be certified by the Canadian Standards Association (or recognized equivalent) before it can be sold in Canada. Implicit in this is that all wiring must be done with CSA-approved materials. They perform testing similar to the UL (a bit more stringent), except that CSA (or recognized equivalent) approval is required by law. Again, like the UL, if a fire was caused by non-CSA-approved equipment, your insurance company may not have to pay the claim. Note: strictly speaking, there usually is a legal way around the lack of a CSA sticker. In some cases (eg: Ontario), a local hydro inspection prior to purchase, or prior to use, is acceptable. The hydro inspector will affix a "hydro sticker" to the unit, which is as good as CSA approval. But it costs money - last I knew, $75 per unit inspected. 11. What Is Ul Listing? The UL stands for "Underwriters Laboratory". It used to be an Insurance Industry organization, but now it is independent and non-profit. It tests electrical components and equipment for potential hazards. When something is UL-listed, that means that the UL has tested the device, and it meets their requirements for safety - ie: fire or shock hazard. It doesn't necessarily mean that the device actually does what it's supposed to, just that it probably won't kill you. The UL does not have power of law in the U.S. -- you are permitted to buy and install non-UL-listed devices. However, insurance policies sometimes have clauses in them that will limit their liability in case of a claim made in response to the failure of a non-UL-listed device. Furthermore, in many situations the NEC will require that a wiring component used for a specific purpose is UL-listed for that purpose. Indirectly, this means that certain parts of your wiring must be UL-listed before an inspector will approve it and/or occupancy permits issued. 12. What Is The Nec? Where Can I Get A Copy? The NEC is a model electrical code devised and published by the National Fire Protection Association, an insurance industry group. It's revised every three years. The 1993 version has been released. You can buy a copy at a decent bookstore, or by calling them directly at 800-344-3555. The code exists in several versions. There's the full text, which is fairly incomprehensible. There's an abridged edition, which has only the sections likely to apply to most houses. And there's the NEC Handbook, which contains the ``authorized commentary'' on the code, as well as the full text. That's the recommended version. Unfortunately, there's no handbook for the abridged edition. And the full handbook is expensive --US$65 plus shipping and handling. 13. Does The Electrician Need A Copy Of My Plans? If you are building a new property it is helpful for the electrician to see the plans. Also discuss your personal needs so that power outlets are conveniently placed. 14. Can't I Do The Work Myself? It's OK to visit the hardware shop and buy the switch you like the look of. But you need a licensed electrician to complete the work. A licensed electrician will issue a certificate to show the work complies with building standards. That way your property won't be devalued or insurance issues crop up in the event of a problem. 15. When Do I Call An Electrician? Whenever you have a job relating to power or wiring. 16. What About Solar Electricity? An electrical contractor can install solar panels to your property. Excess energy collected by your solar panels is fed into the electrical grid. You receive credit for power generated on your electricity bill. 17. I Have Got Old Wiring, Can Any Electrician Handle That? Old wiring can be dangerous. Use a licensed electrician with experience in older homes or property. 18. How Do I Know If My Electrical Installation Is Safe? Only a qualified electrical contractor is licensed to properly test your installation for safety and issue a compliance certificate. 19. What Is A Safety Switch? A safety switch is a device fitted to the property supply that cuts out electricity almost instantly in the event of a significant power leak or surge. 20. What Can I Do To Protect Myself From Electrical Accidents Or Injuries? Have an electrical contractor install a safety switch or circuit breaker. Nearly all electrical accidents involving consumer products could have been prevented by one of these devices. 21. What Rules Do Electrical Contractors Have To Follow? Electrician is a trade qualification and electrical contractors are licensed in each state. Many electricians also choose to belong to professional associations like NECA (National Electrical & Communications Association). 22. What Should I Do If I Need To Hire An Electrical Contractor? Be sure to hire a licensed professional electrician. There a several reasons for this: you'll get a better job work will comply with the building code you won't have an insurance problems if something goes wrong. 23. How Much Does An Electrician Charge? Most good quality electricians will provide you with a detailed quotation free. For smaller jobs, a price estimate is often available over the phone. 24. What Is An Electrical Contractor? Electrical contractors are qualified to install and connect wiring, fixtures and appliances. They also install solar panels and other equipment for generating power. 25. Is There Any Way For Me To Spend Less For Availing Of Electrician Services? One of the best ways to save money on electrician costs is to do some research. Find out how much electrician companies and individual electricians charge for their services. Compare quotes between different electrician service providers and determine which one is best for your budget. You can learn more tips from our “Work and Costs” section. 26. What Is The Nec? NEC stands for National Electrical Code. Refer to our page on the NEC for more details. 27. Is An Electrician License Really That Important? Absolutely. A valid professional license is the ultimate proof of your electrician's qualifications. Without one, your electrician can't assure you that he has gone through the requisite training and tests that would enable him to perform at a high standard and in accordance with the NEC. Never hire an unlicensed electrician if you're after quality service. (Refer to our “Electrician Licensing” page for more on this.) 28. What Makes An Electrician Qualified To Do What He Does? His years of studying, training, and gaining relevant experience. An electrician needs to complete school and spend years (or the equivalent of several thousand working hours) as an apprentice before he even becomes eligible for a license. Add the skill and experience he developed after acquiring his license, and you should be confident that he can serve you well. 29. What Kind Of Electrician Should I Hire? Electricians have varying levels of experience and qualifications. There are apprentices, Journeyman electricians, and Master electricians. An apprentice is still required to work under the supervision of a Journeyman and Master electrician. A Journeyman electrician has extensive knowledge of various electrical fields and can work unsupervised, but he is still not sufficiently qualified to take on electrical projects of utmost complexity. A master electrician is fully qualified to handle any electrical project. Your electrician's experience should at least be directly proportional to the difficulty of the job you need to have done. 30. Should I Immediately Call An Electrician Or First Attempt To Do An Electrical Job Myself? When dealing with an electrical problem, it's best to contact a licensed professional at once. If you try to solve the problem on your own, you could jeopardize your safety as well as that of your electrical system and equipment. And though it's not as urgent, electrical installation of any kind also merits expert assistance. It's likely that you don't want to hire an electrician because of the expense, but that plan could easily backfire. Any mistakes you make may lead to damages that will only cost you more in the long run. ELECTRICIAN Questions and Answers Pdf Download :: Read the full article

Build-Outs Of Summer: 1802 Roasters In Los Angeles, CA
If there’s been one trend we keep seeing time and again in the 2019 Build-Outs of Summer, it’s the continued growth of roaster-only operations into their own cafe spaces. And it continues today with 1802 Roasters in Los Angeles, California.
Starting off primarily selling their coffee in farmers markets around LA, 1802 Roasters has spent the past four years building a following and is finally ready for a coffee shop of their very own. Now serving the Cypress Park neighborhood and surrounding areas, is focused on their local community and doing so in a sustainable fashion. They’re even going to be hosting farmers markets of their own! It’s a cool story and one that we love to tell here on Sprudge. So let’s check in with 1802 Roasters in Los Angeles, California, now in their soft open.
The 2019 Build-Outs of Summer is presented by Pacific Barista Series, notNeutral, KeepCup, and Mill City Roasters.
As told to Sprudge by Christian Degracia.
For those who aren’t familiar, will you tell us about your company?
We’re a Los Angeles based roaster in the neighborhood of Cypress Park. We started operations in 2015 servicing local neighborhoods around us, i.e. Glassell Park, Mt. Washington, Lincoln Height, and of course Cypress Park. In 2016, we began selling at the downtown LA Historic Core Farmers’ Market and then expanded into three farmers’ markets by the beginning of 2017.
Can you tell us a bit about the new space?
We found the Cypress Park space in the middle of 2017 and had secured the lease by early 2018. We have tried to implement Universal Access Design and Sustainable Principles as much as we can in the 2,000-sq-ft. space. The space will house our roastery and cafe and will have ample outdoor seating for everybody to enjoy. Our location is flanked by Frogtown/LA River on one side and Mt. Washington on the other, so we want to take advantage of the picturesque views of the hills of Northeast LA by maximizing outdoor spaces, which includes a back patio and a deck. One other feature of the space we are very excited about is the parking area, because it will allow us to hold seasonal events, markets, and other community focused gatherings in the future.
What’s your approach to coffee?
Serve great quality coffee while promoting reciprocity between business and community. Making the process of roasting coffee visible creates a greater understanding of where things come from and how they are produced. The intention is that this will help create a more knowledgeable consumer base while making the business responsible to them, creating reciprocity between the two and eliminating “bottom line” decisions that could harm the community, such as using polluting or toxic chemicals in production.
Any machines, coffees, special equipment lined up?
We’re excited to get going on our new San Franciscan SF-10 along with our Huky 500T Sample Roaster. For the coffee bar, a Synesso MVP two-group will be paired with a Mahlkönig K30 Twin grinder to offer two kinds of espresso daily. A Wilbur Curtis five gallon hot water tower and Baratza Forte BG grinders will be utilized at our three-station Hario V60 Pour-over Bar that we’ve gotten accustomed to since our farmers’ market days. A Crysalli dispensing system for purified and carbonated water and Optipure BWS175 reverse osmosis filtration system to manage water TDS for use at the bar.
We will have a “Red Bag,” an exclusive line of coffee, if you will, that will focus on less common coffee regions or varieties. This line will be launched at the same time the shop opens, and we have a delicious Sitio Belis Red Honey Process from the Philippines to kick it off.
How is your project considering sustainability?
We worked with the original footprint of the building, reducing our ecological impact. We used natural earth clay plaster on a majority of the interior walls inside, which is non-toxic and mold resistant. Low-VOC paint was set as a minimum standard for the remainder of the finishes. We used natural wool insulation, repurposed old beams, and have reused whatever we can from the space, e.g.: light box signage, railings etc.
Reclaimed bowling alley wood was used for both the coffee bar and customer seating counter. Reclaimed Redwood, from Northern California ranches, was selected for the side paneling along the bar. Wood certified by Sustainable Forest Initiative (SFI) was used for the structural framing, building the bar, repairing the deck, and for the planters on the back patio. We also selected interior seating made out of wood waste and recycled plastic.
Per the EPA WaterSense Program, domestic water use makes up almost one-third of water usage in a restaurant setting. To help conserve water, we installed low flow aerated faucets and low flow-dual flush toilets that are both California Energy Commission (CEC) Compliant and CalGreen Compliant.
We are also mindful of refrigeration and air conditioning systems installed. For refrigeration, all under-counter refrigerators use environmentally friendly R290 Refrigerant which has an Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) of 0 and a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 3, making it a great choice for the shop. Per the recent California Building Energy Efficiency Standards, a minimum Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) Rating of 14 is required for all new AC installation, we elected to install an 18 SEER unit for the shop for additional efficiency, even if it costs a little bit more. The windows installed throughout the shop are Low Emissivity – Argon windows for extra insulation to keep cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
LED Lighting has been installed throughout the shop, incorporating motion sensors in the breakroom and bathrooms, and timers and solar powered lighting for the exterior to conserve energy.
Winter 2019 was one of the wetter winters for Los Angeles; during this time we noticed the amount of stormwater that would run off our lot to adjacent properties or directly into the storm drain system. Keeping this in mind we designed the back patio to direct, disperse and retain rain water by using a combination of decomposed granite to provide a permeable surface and slow the flow of water, infiltration trenches to provide a place for water to retain and deposit and changing the grade to direct water from the parking lot and patio into these key areas.
What’s your hopeful target opening date/month?
Hoping for the planets to align and open by late August.
Are you working with craftspeople, architects, and/or creatives that you’d like to mention?
Cypress Park is one of the smaller Northeast LA neighborhoods and is a tight-knit community full of talented individuals; we saw this as an opportunity to collaborate with local artists and businesses alike. We’ve teamed up with Verity Freebern of Verity Freebern Designs for the design of both of our retail packages, Jasmine Navarro of Small Fry Designs for the building sign painting, and Jimmy M. with the help of Washington P. for designing and painting the outside murals. Crystal Weintrub-Degracia, our co-founder, is the project manager and designer of the new space, combining her experience in Sustainability and Design.

ALPHABET INC.                                                   )
Defendant.   )
                1.         Jurisdiction.  This court has jurisdiction over this complaint because it arises under the laws of California.
           2.         Venue.  Venue is appropriate in this court because both of the plaintiff and defendant reside in this district, and a substantial amount of the acts and omissions giving rise to this lawsuit occurred in this district.
           3.         Intradistrict Assignment.  This lawsuit should be assigned to the County of Saint Clara because a substantial part of the events or omissions which give the rise to this lawsuit occurred in Saint Clara County.
           4.         The Plaintiff, Mai-Trang Thi Nguyen (a female U.S. citizen and resident of Saint Clara County) was harassed and intimidated by Google’s two security guards on 7/23/2018 while she stood next to her car on 5th Street (between N. Mathilda Ave. and Bordeaux Dr.) from 12:00 p.m. to 12:09 p.m. in Sunnyvale (Exhibits 1-3).  The two-Google-security-guards-harassment-and-intimidation incident took place in an area which has ZERO parking-restricted signs (no signs of loading zone, bus zone, and private property) (Exhibits 4-5).  However, her car was illegally parked on the red zone for 3 feet which consumed around 5% of the red zone for around 10 minutes.  She was there taking selfies of herself as human billboard for her future MBA project called Start-Again-Start-Up entitled Ascent Plastic Solar On Cars, and her 4 start-up ideas for Sunnyvale, the Silicon Valley, Vietnam, and the universe (Exhibit 6). She was there alone, quietly, quickly, and sanitarily to take a few selfies of her entire body using her car as a table and wall for her smartphone, and selfies of her neck and face using her arm.
The Defendant, Alphabet Inc., is a parent company of Google in which its Google Tech office is located on 5th street in Sunnyvale.  Ninety percent of that small street is surrounded by Google Tech buildings, and ten percent (at one end of that street) is surrounded by 2 non-Google-non-Alphabet-Inc.-related companies:  Nissan and Baidu—2 car-related companies (Exhibits 7-8).  The Defendant’s security truck driven by a Google’s security guard was also parked illegally on the same red zone and it consumed around 65% of the red zone for 2 minutes.
 I.          The Defendant (Alphabet Inc.) violated California Code, Penal Code 653.2 by
harassing and intimidating the plaintiff (Mai-Trang Thi Nguyen) on 5th Street in Sunnyvale
on 7/23/2018 around 12:05 p.m. to 12:09 p.m. through their Google’s two security guards
while on public property and on public street (no restricted-parking sign and zero private-
property sign) which forced the Plaintiff to immediately left the scene fearing for her
safety.  California Code, Penal Code 653.2 states harassment as “a knowing and willful
course of conduct directed at a specific person that a reasonable person would consider as
seriously alarming, seriously annoying, seriously tormenting, or seriously terrorizing the
person and that serves no legitimate purpose.”  It also states ‘of a harassing nature’ means
“of a nature that a reasonable person would consider as seriously alarming, seriously
annoying, seriously tormenting, or seriously terrorizing of the person and that serves no
legitimate purpose.”  How the Defendant’s two Google’s security officers treated the
Plaintiff was exactly how police officers in the old days used to treat unwanted-undesirable
citizens in a public places and on public streets under police harassment law, which
eventually got them and the cities sued in order for the police to stop the illegal harassment
and intimidation).
A.  Harassment by Laura (Google’s 1st security guard:  an obese Latina with a tight and strong stance in her mid 20’s with light skin and black slightly-lower-the-shoulder hair with 5’7 height) (Exhibits 1-3):
Around 12:05 p.m., I (the Plaintiff) was quietly and calmly about to put my work blazer into the trunk of my car, Laura suddenly popped onto the sidewalk, on the right side, and on the edge of my personal safety space (Laura was standing in middle of the sidewalk while I was standing on the street in the middle of the car width.  She was facing my back on my right side).  Laura cemented her body on that spot wearing Google’s badge, staring at me, not wanting to move unless I move, and said the following incriminating statements:
1.       “Excuse me, you can’t park here.”
2.      “This is a loading zone only.”
3.      “You are parked in the red zone.”
(Note: Laura didn’t complain about the Google’s security truck being parked in back of my car which consumed around 65% of the same red zone.  Google’s security truck arrived 30 seconds after Laura informed me that I was parking on the red zone).
B.  Intimidation by Angelina (Google’s 2nd security guard: a bull-dyke-shorter-in-height lesbian with faded-white-facial structures in darker-shaded skin which looked and walked like a chunky-male cop in his mid-20 around 5’5 in height) (Exhibits 1-3):
My (the Plaintiff’s) knees were getting weak standing there defending myself against Laura for 2 minutes while carefully holding my stuff without dropping it.  Suddenly, I felt a surge of manly force from another angle at 12:07 p.m.  It turned out to be Angelina and she was walking towards me like she was a MALE cop coming out of her huge Google’s security truck. As Angelina was slowly shoving her manly-lesbian presence towards my personal safety zone from another angle, my hands began to shake, my knees got too weak to stand, my lower-left back began to develop pain, and my head got scared.  Using whatever physical strength I had, I turned my weakening body towards her. Along with all my calmness energy, I forced out professional words towards her direction to stop her from moving too fast towards me by saying these statements: “there is no-parking sign here,” and “this street is shared by two other companies, too.”  Immediately, my body quickly but gently fell against the car with my finger touching it first, but I used all my soul strength to keep my body up so I didn’t look too weak in front of my enemies.  Then I knew I had to remove myself from that spot because I was too physically weak and mentally scared to deal with these two illegal Google’s security guards harassing and intimidating me on public property and public street.  I left the spot 4 minutes after being confronted by Laura and Angelina.   They refused to give me their business cards, the name of their supervisor, or their supervisor’s email address so I can send an email to document this event.  (NOTE: If I had gotten an email address of their supervisor or the name of their supervisor, I wouldn’t have to sue Alphabet Inc.  to get my complaint across in order to make sure we all abide by the laws, and for me to get an apology to calm down my Google’s escalated mental-illness so I don’t subconsciously impose violence on myself and humanity in the future).
 INCONCLUSION
I WAS FORCED TO DRIVE OFF MY CAR IN AN UNSTABLE MINDSET WHICH COULD CAUSE ME AND OTHERS HARM THROUGH A CAR ACCIDENT BECAUSE OF THE TWO GOOGLE SECURITY GUARDS’ HARASSMENT AND INTIMIDATION ON PUBLIC PROPERTY. I had to stop working for the day promoting my businesses and me.  I haven’t work since I was harassed and intimidated by the Google’s two security guards because my energy level has been reduced to a level of fear and my patience level has been reduced to a deadly level which will eventually lead into violence unless I get an apology letter from everyone involved.  To make sure everyone is safe during my painful Google escalated mental-illness, I have jailed myself at home like living in a mental ward, and became my own doctor, psychiatrist, physical therapist, dietician, exercise trainer, spiritual advisor, police woman, lawyer, and bank (via my credit card to buy whatever is necessary within budget to calm down my anger and motivate me to heal).  This Google-escalated mental illness has put me in an unsafe mindset which will easily make me crack out in public AND EVEN IN GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS using my voice and enormous sound as my defense mechanism if exposed to my enemies—in which the cops WILL slam me into an emergency mental ward again.  Mostly urgently, this Google’s escalated mental-illness can cause me harm via subconscious suicide and cause the public harm via subconscious violence through angry-careless walking and angry-careless driving.  This Google’s escalated mental-illness has already made me made a death threat with my God on my parents on the first time in my life one 7/30/2018 returning from a mentally and physically painful day at the library doing research on suing Google (Exhibit 9).  This Google’s escalated mental-illness has already made me for the first time in my life to start filing restraining order on anyone, and in this case, filing restraining orders on the Google’s two security guards (Laura and Angelina) (Exhibit 10).  Since I developed the Google’s escalated mental-illness, I have lost more hair in my head due to revengeful anger and financial lost (buying more vegies and fruits and expensive non-starch-low-fat-low-sugar food as medicine, new clothing to fight Google and Alphabet in and outside of court for motivation to heal, and lawsuit administrative cost) (Exhibits 11-13). My arthritis got worse because of this Google’s escalated mental-illness—I subconsciously punched my fingers in the computer and smartphone hard and fast to release my anger into this lawsuit (Exhibits 14-17).  Furthermore, this Google’s escalated mental-illness caused my left eye to twitch NON-STOP FOR 3 DAYS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE because of stress which caused lack of sleep.  However, my left eye immediately stopped within 15 minutes after I developed the strength to make the first attempt to upload the lawsuit through e-file on 9/2/2018 (EXHIBIT 18).  Because of this Google’s escalated mental-illness, I no longer use Alphabet Inc. and Google for anything even though they have incredible free search engine and map service.  Thank goodness there are other crappy services to replace Google; however, in the future I will be using Infoseek.
II.        Prayer for Relief.  The Plaintiff (Mai-Trang Thi Nguyen) ask the Court to have the defendant (Alphabet Inc.) to produce an apology plus the following items or fight in the U.S. Supreme Court for a billion dollars for my Google’s escalated mental-distress that already threatened my safety, my parents’ safety, and it can threaten the safety of the public.  Furthermore, this Google’s intimidation and harassment on 7/23/2018 on 5th Street in Sunnyvale in public property and on public street caused public humiliation to me as human being, a job seeker looking for a job among my search-engine peers, a sales woman in front of her potential 3 clients for her Ascent-Plastic-Solar-On-Cars-start-again-start-up-future-MBA project (Google’s autonomous car division, Nissan’s Pathfinder division, and Baidu’s autonomous car division), a business woman (selling her brand, start-up-start-again, and 4 start-up ideas), an investor (start-again-start-up and 4 start-up ideas), and 5 entities (start-again-start-up and 4 start-up ideas):
1.         A separate note of apology from Google (ALONG WITH A SEPARATE NOTE OF APOLOGY FROM ALPHABET INC.)
2.         A separate note of apology from Google’s first security guard (Laura) along with Laura’s full legal name so I file a harassment case with the Sunnyvale police department, get a restraining order, and sue her directly if her harassment continues or escalates in the future.
3.         A separate note of apology from Google’s second security guard (Angelina) with Angelina’s full legal name so I file a harassment case with the Sunnyvale police department, get a restraining order, and sue her directly if her harassment continues or escalates in the future.
4.         A separate note of apology from the supervisor of the Google’s two security guards (Laura and Angelina).  This is to protect me from future harassment and intimidation in public places from those behind Google’s security cameras whom I have not met on the day I was harassed and intimidated.  This will allow me to sue Alphabet Inc. again in the future for financial compensation and not just for a stupid letter of apology which pay zero of my bills for my Google’s escalated mental-illness--assuming if they can’t control their employees from acting illegally in public places while wearing their badges.  This will allow me to sue the supervisor directly if I discover that he or she harasses and intimidates me in public places in the future.  (NOTE: This person knows how I look like through the security cameras, but I don’t know how this person looks like. This person might go after me in public places as a human being against another human being.  With today’s world being extremely revengeful and violent, I am combatting back through using the law to protect my safety, my family’s safety, and my businesses’ safety.  I will sue all parties involved including the law to make sure everyone act according to the laws).
5.         A check from Alphabet Inc. to me covering the cost of filing 2 restraining orders against their two Google’s security guards (Laura and Angelina).
6.         A check from Alphabet Inc. to the Superior Court of CA, County of Saint Clara,
 covering the court’s fee-waiving cost.
 8.         A check from Alphabet Inc. to me (the Plaintiff) for the e-filing cost plus card
 card interest.
 9.         A check from Alphabet Inc. to me for the servicing cost plus credit card interest.
10.       A check from Alphabet Inc. to me for the printing cost plus credit card interest.

Silver Oak Effects
Silver Oak For many red people, Gold Oak has become associated with luxurious containers of Cabernet containers of wine Sauvignon over the last 45 years. These food-friendly, powerful vintages come from top quality fruits met with virgin mobile oak. Often, Gold Oak vino is absorbed on special occasions—a representation of their elegance. But to truly understand what sets the product apart requires a trip. Right now, two features welcome visitors. There’s Gold Oak Cellars. in Oakville, CA—the famous Napa Area service and visitors center. And then there’s the short-term Alexander Area house at sis winery Twomey Healdsburg, on top of a mountain with amazing opinions of the wineries in Sonoma. We had a chance to see both, trying a multitude of Gold Oak and Twomey containers of wine along the way. And then, we got an early look at Gold Oak’s maintainable new Alexander Area house, starting soon. The truth is, this is a winery fit for the lengthy run. Even before coming into, one gets the farming impact on the winery framework itself. It looks like a barn from the lengthy run. Lead designer Daniel Piechota, from Sagan Piechota, describes to CH, “A barn is designed to be a uncomplicated framework. The choice became amazing a stability between being very deliberate and novel compared to uncomplicated yet resting returning.” With nothing short of a graceful statement, Piechota carries on, “The barns of the Alexander Area have always held a interest for me. I have spent lots of your quantity of non-urban areas and appreciate the modernism of barns—their form is their utility is their design. Barns are sincere, the range allows for deep opportunities and lengthy dark areas, mild as it filtration through high forums. The lengthy expand and straight line relationship to scenery, they express an almost monolithic top quality.” This isn’t a modern barn, however; it’s a winery and this is creatively recognized quickly. “Wine comes from a specific position and has unique features that indicate that particular position in that particular point soon enough,” he carries on. “I don’t think you need to be a containers of wine fan to develop a winery. However, it certainly oiled the tires as far as moving into it feet first. One is of course more creative when it lights a personal interest.” Eventually, he says, “My interest in containers of wine isn’t just in the taste; it’s in enhancing it—the process, earth, equipment and features, the choices that are made along the way.” A jump below the surface shows something quite outstanding. The new service is seeking to be the world’s second LEED-platinum qualified winery—the first being Gold Oak’s Oakville location. There’s no higher Management in Power and Ecological Style category. And this property will be the first winery to be 100% net zero energy and net zero standard water from the start. Every drop of standard water has been downcycled three times. Daylight lights up manufacturing rooms. From the residential solar sections, they could eventually attract 105% net energy, putting five percent into the lines. They’re doing all this with an open-source approach. As Ian Leggat, Home of Marketing & Public Interaction, says, “we are passing this over as a set of best methods in the industry and anybody who wants to use what we’ve done and do better can go ahead and do so. Everyone benefits.” From redwood reprocessed from another winery to reprocessed Levi’s used as insulating material, nothing has been built without the highest concern. The product has already set into action tech-forward winery control. They practice a program that causes the grape vines to battle some for their standard water and nutritional value. As Leggat describes, “this makes smaller more tasty and focused fruits. If grape vines get too much standard water they take on a vegetal top quality.” Then they seek out maximum ripeness and grind it as soon as possible. Other assessments include predawn foliage pressure failures, real-time data transmitting, and Physiocap statistic (lasers calculating size and capture length) all to stability vitality and grape vine health for an even plants. They’ve also started to use a machine harvester that drinks the bunches—a once questionable now tried and true program. When Gold Oak released in 1972, they were only the second all Cabernet containers of wine Sauvignon house in the area. They were using approximately 25% estate winery and 75% partner farmer winery. That number has turned completely. The extremely speck-free manufacturing area features a range of fermenters, each used only once during collect. There are different tank sizes for different types of results. Nate Weis, only the third winemaker at the company, analyzed at UC Davis. His knowledge of the plants is outstanding. From underwater fog control to complete control over barrel-making (Silver Oak operates their cooperage), there aren’t many as prepared to produce with such uniqueness. Finally, the Gold Oak team combinations before they put your containers of wine into drums. This allows the various to balance, get married to in fact, over that period. Look no further than their recommended 2013 Alexander Area Cabernet containers of wine Sauvignon for evidence of success.

A New Home for Silver Oak in the Alexander Valley
A New Home for Silver Oak in the Alexander Valley
Previous A New Home for Silver Oak in the Alexander Valley When I think of Alexander Valley I think of beautiful scenery, and quaint towns. A place with fascinating history, and some of the worlds most delicious wine, it is also now home to one of California’s most iconic cabernets and new state of the art winery, Silver Oak. A Brief Overview of Alexander Valley The Alexander Valley Is located just north of the city of Healdsburg and is home to the small towns of Cloverdale (Sonoma County’s most northern city) and Geyserville (a small town near the center of the valley. California State Highways 101 and 128 run through the valley shuttling travelers through some of the most picturesque spots in Sonoma County. Running down the valley is the Russian River that brings water and nutrients to the vineyards that are located along it. If you head into the hills along the valley’s rim you will be treated to some amazing views of Taylor Mountain to the south, sprawling vineyards blanketing the valley and hills, the Russian River meandering its way to the ocean, and some beautiful nature scapes as well. The small town of Cloverdale is home to a vibrant arts community and holds annual events that range from live music and food festivals to car shows and the “all-time-favorite Citrus Fair. This small town is surrounded by vineyards and wineries and is a great place to add to your summer wine country road trip ‘places to visit’. Also located in the valley is the small town of Geyserville. Don’t blink or you will miss wooden laden sidewalks that guide you past 19th-century false-front buildings that are home to some delicious eateries, art galleries, and diverting shops. You will also miss some fun and interesting tasting rooms that allow you to taste many wines in one location. You will have fun tasting a list of small batch wines at Locals tasting room, but you may want to get a bottle for the road to make your experience last just a bit longer. The story of Alexander Valley starts with Cyrus Alexander in 1840. Cyrus moved to what is now known as the Alexander Valley with employer/business partner Henry Fitch. Cyrus declared the valley “The brightest and the best spot in the world”. They applied for and were granted 48,800 acres of land from the Mexican Government and named the it Rancho Sotoyome. Cyrus managed the ranch for close to four years and was given 8,800 acres of it as payment for his service. He was the first to grow vines in the valley and soon others followed. In 1889 the first commercial winery, Lone Pine Vineyard, was built by Shadrach Osborn and soon after Red Winery by Horace Chase who’s first winemaker was Broder Frellson came after. Broder’s daughter latter married Osborn’s son, William, and began the family wine making and growing lineage that continues to this day. Prohibition hit the valley hard and forced winemakers to scale back on production. Only 200 gallons were allowed to be produced by a single household. There was widespread planting done in the area which, at first was profitable, but the price of grapes rose leading to an overproduction of grapes which in turn became unprofitable for growers. It wasn’t until after the end of Prohibition, the Great Depression, and World War II that the area began to see a bright light at the end of what seemed to be a never-ending tunnel. New crops such prunes (which soon became the dominant crop in the region), and later apples, were the common crops growing. Oh no! Where did the wine grapes go!? Rest easy dear readers, Vine growing and wine production did return (as we know already) with people such as Rodney Strong and Robert Young. In the year 1971, Rodney found a small hill located in Alexander Valley and planted 15 acres of the famous Cabernet grape (the first vintage, 1974, was the first designated to Cabernet in Sonoma County which set the tone for world class Cabernet that comes out of the valley today). Robert Young also decided to plant 14 acres of the then up and coming variety Cabernet Sauvignon. Today the Alexander Valley grows nearly 15,000 acres of wine grapes, is home to “a community of family farmers who collaborate with each other to grow and produce would-class wine grapes with the dedication to sustainable farming practices and Cabernet Sauvignon as the varietal of designation in Alexander Valley” Alexander Valley: Home to Silver Oak’s State of the Art Winery One producer everyone knows is Silver Oak. For many red wine lovers, Silver Oak has become synonymous with luxuriant bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon over the last 45 years. These food-friendly, dynamic vintages hail from quality fruit met with virgin oak. Often, Silver Oak wines are consumed on special occasions—a reflection of their magnificence. But to truly understand what sets the brand apart requires a visit . Right now, two facilities welcome guests. There’s Silver Oak Cellars in Oakville, CA—the prestigious Napa Valley facility and visitors center. And now Silver Oak’s sustainable new Alexander Valley home , which opened just this year. Suffice it to say, this is a winery fit for the future. Even before entering, one gets the agricultural influence on the winery structure itself. It looks like a barn from the future. Lead architect Daniel Piechota, from Sagan Piechota, explains to CH, “A barn is meant to be a straightforward structure. The choice became striking a balance between being very intentional and novel versus straightforward yet laying back.” With nothing short of a poetic observation, Piechota continues, “The barns of the Alexander Valley have always held a fascination for me. I have spent a lot of time in rural areas and appreciate the modernism of barns—their form is their utility is their decoration. Barns are honest, the scale allows for deep openings and long shadows, light as it filters through tall boards. The long stretch and linear relationship to landscape, they convey an almost monolithic quality.” This isn’t a modern barn, however; it’s a winery and this is visually understood almost immediately. A dive beneath the surface reveals something quite extraordinary. The new facility is seeking to be the world’s second LEED-platinum certified winery—the first being Silver Oak’s Oakville location. There’s no higher Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design classification. And this property will be the first winery to be 100% net zero energy and net zero water from the start. Every drop of water has been downcycled three times. Natural light illuminates production rooms. From the solar panels, they will ultimately draw 105% net energy, putting five percent back into the grid. They’re doing all this with an open-source approach. As Ian Leggat, Director of Marketing & Public Relations, says, “we are handing this over as a set of best practices in the industry and anybody who wants to use what we’ve done and do better can go ahead and do so. Everyone benefits.” From redwood reclaimed from another winery to recycled Levi’s used as insulation, nothing has been built without the utmost concern. The brand has already set into action tech-forward vineyard management. They practice a system that causes the vines to struggle some for their water and nutrients. As Leggat explains, “this creates smaller more flavorful and concentrated fruit. If vines get too much water they take on a vegetal quality.” Then they seek out optimal ripeness and crush it as soon as possible. Other tests include predawn leaf pressure deficits, real time data transmission, and Physiocap measurement (lasers measuring width and shoot length) all to balance vigor and vine health for an even crop. They’ve also begun to use a machine harvester that shakes the bunches—a once controversial now tried and true system. When Silver Oak launched in 1972, they were only the second all Cabernet Sauvignon house in the region. They were using roughly 25% estate grapes and 75% partner grower grapes. That number has flipped completely. The remarkably speck-free production area features a range of fermenters, each used only once during harvest. There are different tank sizes for different types of results. Nate Weis, only the third winemaker at the company, studied at UC Davis. His knowledge of the plants is extraordinary. From marine fog management to complete control over barrel-making (Silver Oak owns their cooperage), there aren’t many as equipped to produce with such specificity. Finally, the Silver Oak team blends before they put the wine into barrels. This allows the various components to harmonize, marry in fact, over that time. Look no further than their acclaimed 2013 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon for proof of success. Looking for the New Vintage of Silver Oak Cabernet? Click HERE

Redfin Ranks the Top 10 Neighborhoods for Green Homes in 2018
SEATTLE/ April 23, 2018 (STLRealEstate.News) — (NASDAQ: RDFN)– Green homes sold for $46,532 more than homes without green features in 2017, according to Redfin (www.redfin.com), the next-generation real estate brokerage. To determine that figure, Redfin data scientists analyzed real estate listings for all the homes sold between January 1, 2017 and April 2018 in more than 80 major metropolitan areas. Redfin identified the homes with one or more green features and compared the median price of those homes ($569,378) with the median price of all homes sold in the time period ($522,845).
The study also looked at which U.S. neighborhoods have the greatest number of eco-friendly homes, based on the percentage of homes that mentioned one or more “green” features in real estate listings. Cleveland, OH and Orange County, CA dominated the list, both having three neighborhoods in the top 10.

Malvern, Fenway and Mercer are all in Shaker Heights, a suburb of Cleveland that works hard to promote sustainable living. To encourage residents to reduce their carbon footprint, the city offers a recycling program, home energy assessments, energy incentive programs, access to financing for solar panels and more. Redfin real estate agents say that work is evident.
“As our homes age, it’s important to not only preserve the classic architectural charm of Shaker Heights but update them to meet today’s modern lifestyle,” said Redfin Cleveland agent Danielle Parent. “Homebuyers are drawn to the historic, classic-style tudors that adorn the tree-lined streets of Shaker Heights, but many homes, because of their age, are in need of significant updates. The city has done a tremendous job of communicating the resources that are available to homeowners to help them implement eco-friendly features like solar panels and energy-efficient windows. The city was ahead of the curve and has been an ardent supporter of reducing its carbon footprint since 2002.”

BUSINESS IN BRIEF 28/1 – News VietNamNet
One more project in the red for Vinachem
A Laos-based potassium salt mining and processing project is the fifth million-dollar loss-making project of Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) and the thirteenth of the Trade and Industry sector.
The total investment of this Vinachem project is $522 million, including $105 million from Vinachem, $113 million from Vietnam Development Bank (VDB), $161 million from Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam JSC (BIDV), and $143 million from VietinBank.
The project’s scope of exploration is 10 square metres. It is expected to be built within five years and start exploration from 2020, producing 320,000 tonnes annually. However, after two years of construction, the project has stalled in 2017.
In 2017, the 20 subsidiaries of Vinachem recorded a total profit of nearly VND2.2 trillion ($100 million), but four projects had a negative revenue of VND2.115 trillion ($93.2 million).
Earlier, in the first days of 2018, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue approved the restructuring scheme of Vinachem, stipulating that this group would divest from almost all of its subsidiaries by 2020.
The four loss-making fertiliser companies are Ha Bac Nitrogenous Fertilizer and Chemical Company, DAP-Vinachem Co., Ltd., DAP2-Vinachem JSC, and Ninh Binh Nitrogenous Fertilizer Ltd. Company. Vinachem has to divest of these units after they turn their business around.
The mother company plans its equitisation for 2018-2019, leaving only 50-65 per cent of its charter capital (some VND20 trillion–$890 million) under state control.
As for its member companies, Vinachem plans to retain more than 65 per cent of the charter capital of Vietnam Apatite One Member Limited Company in 2018.
It will also maintain 50-65 per cent stakes in seven member companies, less than 50 per cent stake in nine others, and divest completely from 15 companies.
According to Vinachem’s financial report for the second half of 2017, the combined profit from its subsidiaries was VND50 billion ($2.2 million), with a loss of VND192 billion ($8.5 million) by the parent company.
Shinhan Card spends $150 million on Prudential Finance acquisition
Shinhan Financial Group has just announced that subsidiary Shinhan Card has completed the acquisition of Prudential Vietnam Finance Company Ltd.
Shinhan’s announcement on the stock exchange noted that the company will acquire 100 per cent of Prudential Finance’s shares, that are valued at 161.4 billion won ($150.8 million).
It aims to expand the Vietnamese consumer finance sector, which has been reporting double-digit growth in recent years and is expected to sharply develop in the next years.
Prudential Finance is a 100% foreign capital consumer finance company established in 2007. The company’s revenue hit around $72 million with a profit of $13 million in 2016.
Prudential started selling insurance policies in Vietnam in 1999, then opened up Eastspring Investments Fund Management Company in 2005 and Prudential Vietnam Finance Company Ltd. in 2007.
The scale of Prudential’s insurance business in Vietnam is much smaller than in Hong Kong, Singapore, China, and Indonesia. It is expected to be developed after selling off the company’s consumer finance arm.
This movement mirrors other global insurance companies’ selling off their non-core business sectors in Asia to focus on the insurance market.
Prudential Finance, FE Credit, HomeCredit, and HDSaigon are four companies covering the Vietnamese consumer finance market. According to StoxPlus, the total outstanding loans of consumer finance companies was over VND56 trillion ($2.47 billion) at the end of 2016.
In 2017, Military Bank (MB) announced selling 49 per cent of the shares at VND500-billion MB One Member Co., Ltd. for Shinsei Bank of Japan and gaining VND615 billion ($27.1 million). In September 2017, this company was officially renamed to MB Shinsei Finance Limited Liability Company (MS Finance). MB Group still owns 50 per cent of MS Finance’s shares, while the remaining 1 per cent is owned by Xuan Thanh Development and Construction Investment Limited Company.
Earlier, Techcombank announced that its Board of Management approved all documents related to transferring the entire capital of TechcomFinance to Lotte Card. This deal enabled Lotte Card to break into the vibrant Vietnamese consumer finance market.
Next week, on February 1, 2018, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) will also auction off Post and Telecommunication Finance Company Limited at the initial price of VND500 billion ($22 million), which is also the charter capital of this company since 1998.
BIM Group kicks off $35-million solar power project in Ninh Thuan
One of Vietnamese leading private groups BIM and the Philippines-based AC Energy have started developing BIM 1 solar power plant in Phuoc Minh commune in the central province of Ninh Thuan.
The project aims to satisfy the increasing energy demand and to replace fossil energy with more sustainable and renewable alternatives, contributing to the country’s economic development and improving living standards.
The Vietnamese government also stimulates renewable energy investment, especially solar power due to its stability and environmentally-friendly feature, via issuing Decision No.11/2017/QD-TTg on an incentive mechanism to develop solar power projects.
Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan are the two central provinces having the greatest potential for developing renewable energy. These provinces are the areas where BIM Group has implemented its investment and business activities during the past ten years, with Quan The, Tri Hai, and Ca Na Economic Zone project.
According to the plan, the solar farm project, which has a total capital of 30MWp, will cover an area of 35 hectares with a total investment capital of VND800 billion ($35.2 million). By installing 90,000 solar panels and other modern equipment, the plant is expected to generate 50 million kWh per annum once it comes into operation.
According to plan, the solar farm will be connected to the national grid in the third quarter of this year, which is the premise for accelerating other large-scale solar projects with a total capacity of 300MW to generate electricity in the first quarter of 2019.
Doan Quoc Viet, chairman of BIM Group, stated, “As one of Vietnam’s leading diversified groups, BIM Group’s business and investment activities always revolve around sustainability.”
BIM Group’s long-term target is to generate 1,000MW of clean energy by 2025. To achieve this, BIM Group has entered into a co-operation with AC Energy, one of the largest groups of the Philippines, to develop the project in Ninh Thuan.
“AC Energy is very concerned about the renewable energy sector in Vietnam and wants to become a pioneer in this sector. The company is pleased to co-operate with BIM Group, and is keen to utilise their massive experience in operating in Ninh Thuan,” said Eric Francia, management director of AC Energy.
BIM Group decided to select Conergy Asia & ME Pte. Ltd. as the contractor, trusting in the company’s more than 20 years of experience and track record of over 300 solar power plants in Europe, the Middle-East, Asia, and the Americas.
“We were pleased to have been selected once again to develop a solar power project in Southeast Asia, especially as this will be our first project in Vietnam,” said Marc Lohoff, general director of Conergy.
Recognised as one of the leading business groups in the country, BIM’s operations are focused on four main business sectors, including tourism development and real estate investment, agriculture-food,commercial services, and renewable energy. The group is one of the few having the capacity to meet the strict quality requirements of international partners.
AC Energy Holdings, Inc., a subsidiary of Ayala Corp., develops and operates solar, wind, and hydro power generation facilities. It has been recognized as the fastest developing firm in the Philippines. AC Energy plans to expand its operation to Indonesia and other markets in Southeast Asia.
SCB recognised as outstanding member by VSD
Standard Chartered Bank Viet Nam (SCB) was recognised by Viet Nam Securities Depository (VSD) as one of its top 10 outstanding members by assets under custody in 2017.
The award honours outstanding members who have contributed positively to custody, clearing and settlement of securities transactions in the market.
This is the first time VSD presented awards to members for their participation and contribution to the Viet Nam stock market. SCB is one of only two foreign custodian banks to receive the accolade.
Standard Chartered’s custody offering gives customers a single entry point to access services in multiple markets. The key benefits include a single point of contact, multiple services across multiple markets, direct access to operational support and centralised client services, unique coverage through on-shore presence and carefully selected third party agents.
The bank’s custody product adopts the best international practices and comes with its multi-functional Straight2Bank platform, which gives clients on-demand access to comprehensive transactional and reporting capabilities.
Recently, SCB launched an enhanced custody business model, which leverages the expertise of all relevant stakeholders, including relationship management, product management, securities service sales and implementation management, as well as client service management, market development and operations to ensure clients get the right solutions to address their needs.
SCB was named the “Best Foreign Bank in Viet Nam” for three consecutive years, including by the Global Banking and Finance Review in 2014 and 2015, and by Global Business Outlook in 2016.
Government data critical for businesses
Though Viet Nam has made great strides in streamlining administrative procedures and developing e-governance, more needs to be done to enable businesses and the public to access information from the Government, a roundtable heard in HCM City on Tuesday.
Tran Ngoc Liem, deputy director of the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s HCM City office, said businesses need many kinds of information such as domestic and global markets and the output of certain sectors, but they find it hard to get it.
This is valuable information that helps businesses analyse their investment and trading opportunities, Liem said.
He said the World Bank had an open data for business tool and hoped its working group would suggest recommendations and support Viet Nam’s efforts to successfully establish a digital government and open data.
Open data is freely available online for anyone to use and reproduce. While social media, companies and non-government organisations (NGOs) can all be sources of open data, the most widely used data comes from governments and government-supported institutions.
Using open data would offer benefits like more efficient public administration, economic growth in the private sector and social welfare.
Alla Morrison, innovation data programme coordinator at the World Bank, said businesses can use open data “as a source of information for research and decision making, and as new material to create new data-driven products, services and application platforms”.
Many countries have developed open data and reaped its benefits, she said.
The most widely quoted is a study by McKinsey Global Institute, which estimated that open data (from government and non-government sources) could create US$3-5 trillion annually in economic value worldwide in the seven sectors of education, transportation, consumer products, electricity, oil and gas, healthcare and consumer services.
Open data can give potential investors essential information they need about a country’s governance, infrastructure and resources.
Investors may be interested in data about a country’s census statistics, workforce skills, tariffs, land or the national infrastructure.
It can help launch new businesses, make existing businesses more efficient and profitable, increase employment and attract foreign investment, according to the World Bank.
The bank’s international experts are working with local partners to collect information about the reality and Viet Nam’s readiness level with respect to open data and digital government.
At the Roundtable on Open Data and Digital Government Readiness Assessment yesterday, delegates, including businesses leaders, representatives of business groups and others, were divided into groups to discuss how their organisations use data, the current or potential barriers to data access and use and other issues.
In spring this year, the World Bank will offer Viet Nam a roadmap and recommendations on developing open data.
VCCI kicks off recycling plan
The Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) on Tuesday kicked off a programme for advancing circular economy to protect the environment.
The programme was marked with the signing of a memorandum of understanding for co-operation in implementing a “Zero Waste to Nature” initiative between VCCI’s Viet Nam Business Council for Sustainable Development and Unilever Viet Nam, Coca-Cola Viet Nam and Dow Chemical Viet Nam.
According to VCCI, the global economy was seeing a shift from a traditional linear economy into a circular economy in which waste, instead of being disposed and causing pollution, would be recycled and “revived” in other forms of resources and involved in the production process.
Advancing circular economy would help reduce risks of resource scarcity in the future, tackle environment problems and redefine economic growth.
Nguyen Quang Vinh, VCCI’s general secretary, said the programme aimed to raise policy recommendations for developing a secondary raw material market, introduce good practices of circular economies of companies in the world to domestic enterprises, and provide support to implementing initiatives under public-private partnership practice.
“Enhanced co-operation is necessary to build a non-emission economy, which will help create more jobs, enhance competitiveness of the private sector and grasp business opportunities worth billions of dollars the circular economy will generate,” Vinh said. “The programme will also contribute to promoting the green growth strategy of Viet Nam.”
The initiative of “Zero Waste to Nature” was the first activity of the programme which had four goals, including solving problems arising from plastic waste, developing a roadmap for promoting sustainable business models, developing circular-economy oriented value chains and raising policy recommendations for advancing circular economy.
Nguyen Thi Bich Van, chairwoman of Unilever Viet Nam, said that the company pledged to collect, recycle and reuse all plastic packages of its products by 2025.
Sanket Ray, general director of Coca-Cola Viet Nam, said by 2030 the company targetted to collect and recycle all plastic bottles of its sold products.
Deputy PM promotes regional prosperity
Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue has urged the World Economic Forum (WEF) to work with ASEAN member countries to promote regional prosperity as challenges and changes face the region and the world.
Hue was delivering a speech at a meeting of the ASEAN Regional Strategic Group at the 48th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland on Tuesday.
He said the group should focus on strategic issues, such as maintaining dynamic development, competitiveness and self-improvement within the 10-member group, promote the equal development of the ASEAN Community, raise the central role played by ASEAN in co-operation mechanisms and regional security, and boost intra-bloc co-operation and connectivity.
Viet Nam was always ready to hold dialogues and closely co-ordinate with other ASEAN nations, its partners and businesses, he said, noting that the country was closely working with the WEF in preparation for the WEF-ASEAN conference in September in Ha Noi
Hue met Johann Schneider-Ammann, a member of the Switzerland Federal Council, sharing his view that the Viet Nam-Switzerland economic relationship was encouraging.
They agreed to step up bilateral co-ordination at multilateral forums while pushing negotiations for a free-trade agreement between Viet Nam and the European Free Trade Association, of which Switzerland is a member.
Hue said he highly valued the Swiss Government’s commitment to maintaining official development assistance (ODA) to Viet Nam during 2017-20 and called on it to help develop a high-quality education system, combining it with scientific and technological research.
He also met the vicer-president of the telecommunications group Qualcomm, suggesting it co-operate with Viet Nam in innovative start-ups in information-technology, share its experience in innovation, and boost collaboration in human-resources development in the telecommunications sector.
Within the framework of the WEF, the Deputy PM on Monday had a working session with Zurich Airport, the world’s leading group in investment and aviation management.
The group is interested in partnering Viet Nam in airport projects, including Long Thanh International Airport, as well as in training and the transfer of managerial technologies.
On the same day, the Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Vietnamese Embassy in Berne and Bell Capital co-organised a Viet Nam Investment Forum in Zurich.
Themed “Creating a Shared Future in a Fractured World,” this year’s WEF Davos attracts more than 3,000 delegates, who are leaders of nations, international organisations and world leading groups and non-governmental organisations.
Funds crucial for supervision of raw milk quality
Monitoring of raw milk quality was still limited by lack of funds and human resources from specialised management agencies.
This was observed by Tong Xuan Chinh, deputy director of Livestock Husbandry Department at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, at the National Dialogue on RawMilk Quality and Supply in Ha Noi on Tuesday.
He said supervision of rawmilk quality was an indispensable activity of the dairy industry at any scale to produce good-quality dairy products.
To achieve that, milk enterprises were paying great attention to the quality of fresh raw milk in line with international standards, he said. These processes were based on the performance of basic quality tests at different stages: purchasing, transporting, processing, packing, preserving and distributing.
According to La Van Thao, chief of the Livestock Husbandry Department’s cattle office, raw milk is currently collected in four forms. First, milk-processing enterprises sign raw material purchase contracts with farmer households according to the standards prescribed by enterprises. Milk purchase prices are based on raw milk quality. Second, milk-processing enterprises sign contracts for product purchase and support for raw material development, technical training and credit support. Third, enterprises invest in dairy production in closed chain (from feed to cattle breeding to processing and consumption). Fourth, dairy enterprises sign contract to sell raw milk to another company specialising in milk processing, such as the link model of Hoang Anh Gia Lai Company with NutiFood Company.
Many areas such as Ha Noi, HCM City, Thanh Hoa and SocTrang provinces with dairy farming were also involved in chain production.
Domestic rawmilk production, however, was still low, meeting only 40 per cent of total domestic consumption. Moreover, the quality isn’t stable. There were many reasons for this: Up to now, 65 per cent of national dairycows have been bred on a smallscale (a household breeding of two to three cows) and at farmer households, so compliance with the requirements of the breeding process, housing conditions, food hygiene and safety is not guaranteed.
The quality of dairy cattle, nutrition, food and disease epidemic safety hasn’t been properly invested in and has been strictly controlled, so the volume of raw milk produced in the country was still low.
A large quantity of raw milk wasn’t being purchased by factories because it didn’t meet quality requirements.
Representatives of some influential milk enterprises at the meeting said one of the challenges they faced was overlapping management responsibility of the relevant ministries, which was not in line with the actual production and food safety law.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development manages raw milk production, the Ministry of Industry and Trade manages liquid milk product and the Ministry of Health looks after liquid milk supplement with micronutrients.
A representative of the Dutch Embassy in Viet Nam shared the Netherlands’ experience that developing the dairy-processing industry in Viet Nam needed strong cooperation between farmers and through clubs to learn about breeding experiences and updated techniques.
In 2017, Viet Nam’s dairy farming industry developed steadily. Dairy cattle continued to grow, with some enterprises increasing investment and expanding the scale of animal husbandry combined with favourable conditions in some localities.
The National School Milk Programme has promoted the development of dairy herds. Meanwhile, dairy cattle was growing well and expanding in other localities, such as provinces of Phu Yen, Thanh Hoa, Lam Dong and Ha Giang.
Quality of the dairy herd has been improved through the process of selection and improvement of feeding. Many enterprises have invested a lot in industrial dairy farming using high technology to link the processing and distribution of milk products.

Agribank cooperates with RoK in remittances transfer
The Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Viet Nam (Agribank) and the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s NongHyup Bank (NHB) on Tuesday officially launched the service of transferring money without using bank account.
According to the agreement, the two banks will cooperate in transferring remittances without using US dollar accounts from RoK for individuals in Viet Nam, through the NHB and Agribank network, in accordance with international laws and regulations of transferring money.
Specifically, customers in RoK may reach 1,163 NHB branches or use the application on mobile phones to transfer money; customers in Viet Nam can receive money at any of the over 2,300 branches and transaction offices of Agribank nationwide.
Through the launch of this service, Agribank and NHB target to serve nearly 150,000 Vietnamese people living and working in RoK.

After signing a comprehensive cooperation agreement in 2013, the relationship between the two banks has been growing, as reflected in the signing of the cooperative agreement on money transferring services for Vietnamese workers in RoK in 2014. After that, NHB opened a US dollar payment account at Agribank since 2016 and the transaction between the two banks has nearly doubled in only one year.

Central bank asks lenders to prioritise production, business
The State Bank of Viet Nam has asked credit institutions and branches of foreign banks to give priority to production and business while lending.
According to Document 563/NHNN-TTGSNH issued on Tuesday, the central bank asked for control over credit growth to be tightened to meet the target. The credit growth target for 2018 was set at 17 per cent, lower than the growth rate of 18.17 per cent in 2017.
The credit expansion must be associated with controlling credit quality to prevent new loans from turning into bad debts.
Credit must be limited to sectors with high risks, such as real estate and securities sectors, the central bank said, adding that a close watch must be maintained on the progress of the property projects, financial capacity of developers and mortgage assets.
The management on quality of consumer credit must be enhanced to prevent the use of consumer loans in investing in real estate and securities.
Credit should prioritise agriculture, rural, export and part-supplying industries, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises and enterprises applying high technologies in business and production, according to the document.
The central bank’s statistics showed that credit in business and production accounted for 80 per cent of the total outstanding loans in 2017.

The Global Market for Radiation Cured Products is Projected to Reach 717 Thousand Metric Tons by 2024
Increasing Construction Activities and Technological Advancements Drive the Global Radiation Cured Products Market, According to a New Report by Global Industry Analysts, Inc.
GIA launches comprehensive analysis of industry segments, trends, growth drivers, market share, size and demand forecasts on the global Radiation Cured Products. The global market for Radiation cured products is projected to reach 717 thousand metric tons by 2024, valued at US$7.3 billion, driven by increasing construction activities, technological advancements, stringent government regulations related to air pollution, and increasing demand for solvent-free formulations.
Radiation cured Products (RadCure products) represent a growing market globally, aided by their improved properties, such as rapid processing, lower VOC emissions, improved physical characteristics, negligible waste production, and a good cost/benefit ratio; as well as increasing environmental concerns across the globe. The market is propelled by the increasing demand from wood coatings due to the increased infrastructural investments, and the rising need for environment-friendly products. Radiation cured products are finding increasing use in printed electronics, organic light emitting diodes, portable photovaltaics, electroluminescent, and transdermal patches. Upcoming trends in the radcure market comprise conductive films, UV-enabled rapid kevlar processing, lightest structure formed by UV, stain-resistant fabrics, flexible solar cells, carbon fiber UV sealer. Immense prospects are on the anvil as corporate organizations and various governments attach greater significance to new product development, new energy technologies, innovative materials, as well as sustainable operations.
Coatings represent the largest segment worldwide for radiation-cured products. Globally, the demand for radiation cured coatings is driven by the increasing construction activities, which in turn is fueling the need for wood coatings. The minimum waste produced by this technology makes the products environment friendly. Growth of the market is also attributed to major technological advancements, benefitting various substrates, particularly low heat-resistant substrates, such as wood and plastics. Radiation cured coatings are replacing the conventional solvent borne, low solid coatings, due to the eco-friendly processes involved in manufacturing, which minimizes the emissions of Volatile Organic Compound or VOC. Stringent government regulations related to air pollution, particularly in the developed regions, are propelling the demand for radiation cured products. Increasing demand for solvent-free formulations is also a key growth driver. Low energy consumption during the production process, increased abrasion resistance and hardness are the other growth drivers.
The UV cured printing inks market is witnessing rapid growth due to the increased demand from packaged materials. Printing of packaged materials is registering increased popularity. UV cured printing inks improve the printing process by minimizing drying time, simultaneously achieving superior bonding. Radiation cured adhesives, meanwhile, represent the smallest segment of the total radiation-cured products market. Radiation cured adhesives are rapidly gaining market share due to higher profitability and eco-friendly characteristics. Major applications include laminating adhesives, dental fillings, furniture, construction, pressure-sensitive decals, and potting among others. Radiation cured adhesives are rapidly replacing the PVC-based adhesives, which are being phased out, mainly from the US and European regions.
As stated by the new market research report on Radiation Cured Products, Asia-Pacific represents the largest market worldwide for radcure products, driven by huge population base and increasing demand for consumer goods in developing economies, particularly China and India. The Asia-Pacific region is expected to contribute significantly to the market with strong demand in fast-growing segments, such as wood coatings, industrial coatings, and electronics coatings.
Key players in the market include 3M Company, Allnex, Ashland Inc., Baldwin Technology Company Inc., BASF SE, Covestro (Formerly Bayer MaterialScience), Craig Adhesives and Coatings, Dexerials Corp., DIC Corp., Sun Chemical Corp., DYMAX Corp., Evonik Industries AG, Flint Group, FUJIFILM Sericol UK Ltd., Heraeus Noblelight America LLC, Momentive, Nordson Corp., PPG Industries Inc., Red Spot Paint & Varnish Company Inc., Royal DSM N.V., Sartomer, and Toyo Ink Group, among others.
The research report titled “Radiation Cured Products: A Global Strategic Business Report” announced by Global Industry Analysts Inc., provides a comprehensive review of trends, growth drivers, restraints, market share, size and demand projections and forecasts. Major geographic regions covered include the US, Canada, Japan, Europe (France, Germany, Italy, UK, Spain, Russia, and Rest of Europe), Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and Rest of World. Product segments analyzed include Radiation-cured Coatings, Radiation-cured Inks, and Radiation-cured Adhesives. The report also offers coverage on mergers, acquisitions, product launches and other strategic industry activities of major global and regional players.
