As a part of our plans for Molokai to reach 100 percent renewable energy, Maui Electric held discussions with more than 150 Molokai residents, business owners, and students to gather feedback on how they envision the island’s sustainable energy future. Plans include proposing 1.4 additional of photovoltaic energy, installing a new battery storage system, and utilizing pilot programs to help reach the goal.
