For the upcoming Scuro Saturday, I'm going to go into depth about one of my favorite OC's, Lorenzo Samuele Scuro. He's a three-year-old Pi-Mu in training and resides with the breeding pair full-time as an advisor and ambassador of the Scuro Dynasty. Lorenzo, or "Enzo", has cerebellar hypoplasia that affects his coordination to a degree, a fact with which his father Niccolò has yet to come to terms. While they argue frequently, Lorenzo can usually pacify his father's mercurial temperament. When he isn't operating in an official capacity, he enjoys the study of botany. Enzo is currently mated to Fable, who is owned by my friend @shepblogs.

Personalidad y un poco de su historia (basada por lo que yo entiendo de la canción): Es una persona melancólica, trabaja como modelo para una revista. Le gusta la playa, porque hay fue donde conoció a una persona que fue muy importante para el, que lastimosamente ya no esta. Antes fue una persona alegre, le gustaba estar rodeado de personas y de esa persona que fue especial, pero ahora prefiere estar solo. 

Edad: 32 años.

Estatura: 1,85.

Bernard Song Oc Challenge

Hello ~! it’s me Nao! OK yes! Wolf File: Minister 1F "Rieka"

Observing Scientist: Salem Holloway, Am. Nat.

ENTRY TWO

When the Wolf Chronicles was put on hiatus, Rieka was heavily pregnant and preparing a den. In April, our team returned to the Minister Pack to find five healthy pups and a pair of dutiful parents. Responsibilities were split 50/50 - while Rieka hunted and maintained territory, Apatite guarded the den and played with the pups.

Rieka seemed especially fixated on stockpiling food for the pups, chasing down prey as soon as she could leave the den. The team noticed several interesting behaviours as Rieka hunted, such as driving the prey towards trees and rocks to slow them down. This was the only way she was able to hunt faster ungulates such as pronghorns.

Once the pups were old enough to be left in the den for a while, Rieka and Apatite would refresh territory markings together. Our team observed them playing as they did so, chasing each other and scrapping over sticks. This strengthened their bond as mates and gave them something to do.

While the Minister Pack breeding pair were close, they were not similar by any means. Rieka chose a path of caution, whereas Apatite was apt to chase anything in front of him. Our team observed several incidents in which Apatite attempted to take down difficult prey before being forced to retreat.

No matter the injuries sustained in these exploits, nothing was able to dampen Rieka's spirit. This was very fortunate, as our team learned she would soon need that spirit more than ever.

Wolf File: Minister 1F "Rieka"

Observing Scientist: Salem Holloway, Am. Nat.

ENTRY ONE

Our entry begins with a single female. "Rieka", a two-year-old C. Lupus Occidentalis, began her dispersal journey a few weeks prior to the image above. In every direction, we observed larger, more experienced packs building their territories for the coming winter. If she was going to establish a place for herself, she would have to hurry.

Our team quickly realized that Rieka, despite her mellow temperament, was no pushover. She practiced her hunting skills for weeks before attempting to find a mate, with fewer and fewer failures as time passed. Although our data regarding her pack of origin was limited, we inferred that she had been taught well by the breeding pair.

With time, Rieka's ceaseless howling was rewarded with a visit from two Quadrant Pack males. One of the wolves looked similar enough to Rieka to be her twin and was consequently rejected, although the two seemed mutually deferential after the fact.

The other male was "Apatite". The team chose this mineral name as a sort of play-on-words, due to both his grey-blue coloring and the sheer amount of prey he was seen to have consumed.

After a tense meeting while the two wolves discovered each other's personalities, they became trial mates. This timing was particularly fortunate, as the first snowfall heralded winter during their courtship period.

Apatite and Rieka made for an interesting pair. Rieka took control of many hunts despite being significantly slower than her mate, and was observed guarding kills with ferocity. Apatite quickly learned that he ate when Rieka decided he could eat.

The male began wandering from his mate's side during winter to kill his own prey, but ceased this habit as Rieka became more visibly pregnant. By the time their territory was established, the pair were inseparable and did not leave each other's side for the rest of the observation period.

The observation period ended with the female's attempts to dig out a den. The team would return in a few weeks to view any potential pups.

Sonata had her second litter so here they are (sorry the pics aren't the same size I'm weird). Samuele and Renza are both named after their goofy ahh uncle, Lorenzo Samuele Scuro.

Boreas, otherwise known as the Wind Seer, is continuing on aer journey to find a mate. Ae are not sure how ae ended up in Lost River, but ae will figure it out eventually.

Here are three toast-colored pups in various stages of burning. These are Clementi (me) and Journey's (@shepblogs) kids, Valentino, Voyager, and Divinity (or Val, Voya, and Vinnie as Lorenzo calls them). Not pictured is their fourth, Clementine, who was an unexpected addition to the litter.
