Hardly any time to post today, but here we go... This is weird and rocks hard, like a Devo/Sebadoh mashup or something, it's great!

was thinking about the subnatica au and realized that we never added the jettwins to it. so let's do that.

You have my attention 👀

The jet twins always have their sibling die, right? Well, I have an idea for how we can flip it around!

Let's say that this is post-mutation, and the seekers live both in the vast seas and in the air on the little pockets of land. Starscream... idk what species he becomes. I considered maybe a ghost leviathan just because of the way they scream. Someone in my discord suggested he be a peeper cuz, lbr, that's adorable. He'd just constantly be O.O at everyone. I also considered a mesmer, because his wings could be used to hypnotize and a hypnotic Starscream sounds awesome.

Anyway! Starscream and his mates + Skyfire have carved out an undersea city, having modified their fabricators to make buildings and facilities that can function completely submerged. And Star starts to feel sick, starts to get really hot and sore and realizes before long that he's carrying a clutch of eggs. True to seeker form he has them in multiples of three; there's 6 beautiful eggs and he's equal parts excited and terrified. He has no idea how to incubate or hatch these little ones, he has no idea if they'll even be viable! They don't have any data to work with, considering this is a first for their kind, so he reluctantly lets instinct guide him in caring for them.

We can do a lot with those instincts! They may push him to move the eggs, to seek out privacy, or perhaps water of a different depth or temperature. He may settle in to guard a nest 500 meters down, or he could bury them in the safe shallows to hatch under the warmth of the sun. Regardless of what he does, when hatching day comes, the twins give him quite a surpruse! As spllit sparks, the jet twins developed within the same egg, and came breaking out of the shell together. Starscream's so proud of them :') whether or not their siblings made it is up to you. It's possible they're the only ones that hatched. Perhaps the others weren't fertilized. Or maybe we just say fuck it and say they all hatched! 7 babies? Why not!

We didn’t forget about one of our favorite types of deluxe broadcasts. Finding lots of sounds and intense auditioning for all of our Summer broadcasts seemed like we almost forgot about post-punk and d.i.y. Not so.
