There’s few people that when the cameras are rolling, you get to truly create moments that aren’t on the page. And it’s hard sometimes to find rhythm and cohesiveness with everyone you work with, and when you find the rare person that can play at a level that makes you wanna be better, it almost is like a high. That when the creative juices are flowing, you’re making moments that you maybe didn’t even plan to be there—happy accidents, we used to call them—an emotion or between the lines nuance moments. I think that the reason that the story of Dean and Cas skewed to where it was, was because I kept being able to have that creative ignition with Mish when things were rolling that made me a better actor, and made me wanna find that even more.

And it's a testament to not just his [Misha's] talent but his-- the way he preps, the way he plays, the way he -- he entertains, and performs. There's just such an openness. I say that as an actor, people have asked me "I wanna be actor, do you have any advice?" I say "know your stuff but be emotionally available to any and everything when the cameras are rolling". And that is when you find the magic. and the magic was always there when Misha would walk on-set and those cameras were rolling."

So sadly, this wasn't the actual exchange between these two gorgeous idiots.

The real story is that I wanted an updated version of my beloved 2015 op...

So since I was working the con, I got to go in early and be the first one to take my photo with them, so I pulled up my old op on my phone and showed it to Jensen and Misha (and I swear Misha had a flash of recognition on his face when he saw it... but yeah, anyway), and said "Hey guys, I was hoping we could recreate this, only I want you two to swap poses."

Jensen was like "Yeah of course!" And then he and Misha looked closer at my phone and then spun me around-- and then both of them immediately started doing the wrong thing.

So then they started telling each other that the other one was doing the wrong thing, all while I'm trying to hold still beneath them... which was hard because they were both leaning on me.

So the first one is them arguing about the way the other is posing, and then the second photo is just after Jensen said "Whatever, you know I'm right." And then he stood there with a shit-eating grin while Chris snapped another photo.

So yeah, it wasn't a recreation exactly, but rather a photo-series that portrays a story about two squabbling husbands and a random chick who's just really happy to be there.

It was all super fun and hilarious, and I had a great time at the con. Can't wait to work it again next year ... maybe these two will actually pay attention next time.
