Also worth mentioning that, on top of all the shitty current practices, they stole the studio out from under stop-motion/claymation legend Will Vinton. Which is just the cherry on top of the shit sundae.

Animation unions are calling for a Laika boycott due to unsafe working conditions and sleazy hiring practices (like firing full time crew just to rehire as temps for less pay and benefits), apparently they also take the Amazon approach of treating workers like inhuman machines.

After 3 weeks of double dose of antibiotic, severely elevated liver enzymes, and a reoccurrence of aspiration pneumonia only 2 weeks after completing the previous treatment, it a mystery how my dog is still alive! 🙏🏼

ANIMAL CRUELTY

BEFORE READING, CONSIDER THAT THIS MAY BE GRAPHIC FOR SOME OF YOU. Guys let me explain my hatred for animal cruelty. If you don't wanna read it, don't. But seriously. Think about this. Why are certain animals more important than others? For example, cats and dogs have rights that cows and pigs and chickens do not. It okay to kill one, but not the other. Why? On to the next point, yes, I am Christian. I know the bible says god gave you the animals on the earth and that you can eat them as long as you do not drink their blood. It's in genesis. BUT who ever said we had to torture animals to eat them. That is why I cut down on meat. I plan to probably go Pescaterian again later. The reason is stopped being I wasn't getting enough protein. Which I am working on getting pills for. Some of you are going to ask How do the animals get tortured? There are plenty of videos online and movies and documentaries made about it. I've watched a couple of them. Some showing them cutting all beaks off of chickens. Some showing that if it is a male chicken that is born, it may be thrown into a grinding machine because they only need females for eggs and males can be violent. Some of them showed cows throats being slit. Some of them show pigs being boiled alive, (for softening the hides) a process that they aren't suppose to go through unless they are dead. And for all the animals they are always coupes up their entire lives living in their own feces constantly getting diseases from each other packed to the point where they can't move. For cows, when this happens many of them suffer from swollen utters and contract serious diseases. For chickens, many of them do not grow right, again because they do not put them in these nice little cages like you would like to think. They are all crowed on the floor with the resources so hard to get to for some of them, that they die. In documentaries I've seen some break their legs to. And ITS NOT everyone with a farm that treats them like this. Mainly only huge companies do this. In documentaries I have seen they claimed Tyson and Perdue practice these practices. When they asked both companies to an interview, they declined. Also, for chickens I saw in a documentary that they are often injected with steroids so that they will grow in what if I can remover correctly was about 49 days rather to the natural way of 3 months. Another point I have to make is hunting. Sure, you can hunt for food if you will eat it. But it's not (and I get this from another activists post about this) a sport. Killing innocent souls is not a sport. The worst part of it to, is that the animals ant do anything about it, and usually do not know they are going to be killed. Again, if you do this for food, good for you. Lastly, I wanted to explain that the reason I do this is for the animals. I hate it when people get mad at me as say you are in the south you have to eat meat. I don't care. I would if it wasn't tortured. This is more than that for me. I wanna stand up for our friends. Everybody and anybody could have different reasons for it. I know most of my friends became different about meat for health reasons. So don't get mad at me for not eating as much. It's my body not yours , and I have different beliefs. If you or someone else you know wants to cut down on meat, do it. (They call his flexitarian) Every bit helps. Go vegetarian if you would like, it helps. Some people estimate you can save approximately 33 of each type of farm animal a year by going vegetarian. Wanna be vegetarian but love seafood? Become Pescaterian.you can also go poultritarian which includes I believe eating only white meats. But you may wanna check on that. If you really wanna go all out some people will go vegan. I personally am flexitarian for now. But when I get protein pills/vitamins will be going back to pescaterian. Make sure that if you do any of these you do get enough protein and maintain a healthy weight. Thank you to anybody who actually took the time to read this. I appreciate it. This means Elizabeth James could face a minimum of 6 months to a maximum of 5 years in jail. It should be illegal to deny someone an apartment based on the breed of dog they have. It should be illegal to discriminate against animals entirely when searching for a home...to be honest that's probably the second largest reason why there's so many strays!
