Snow or sand? I love the beach, but hate the sand. It literally gets everywhere. I love the snow, though. I wish it snowed where I live. I’ll have to go with snow.
Do you like sour candy? No. I don’t like the sourness and it irritates my mouth.
If anyone, who did you sit with at lunch today? It’s only 5AM. I’m also not in school nor do I have a job, so I just have lunch at home either by myself in my room or with my mom in the living room or her room. That’s if I have lunch at all.
What is the last letter of your favorite song? I couldn’t choose just one favorite song ya’ll know this.
Have you gotten any injuries lately? If so, what & how? No.
Are you a clumsy person? I bang my hand and elbow a lot.
How about disorganized? My room is a bit disorganized. I never used to let it get like that, but it’s a reflection of how I feel and have felt for the past few years. I’m a mess.
Have you ever thought about being a pirate? No.
If you text, who were the last three people you texted? My dad, mom, and brother.
Does today’s date mean anything to you? Nope.
How are you currently feeling? Tired and kinda cold.
Last male you talked to in person? My brother.
Have you ever had a sunburn? Yeah, many times. I got them a lot as a kid cause I actually used to play outside and spent a lot of time out there. Shocking, I know. I get them when I go to the beach as well. I’ve had some really painful ones. However, they always end up turning into a tan so that’s nice.
Do you use Firefox or Internet Explorer? Neither, I use Chrome.
Are you thinking about asking anyone out? No.
Pink lemonade or regular lemonade? I’m not a fan of lemonade.
Chocolate or strawberry milk? Strawberry.
Does it annoy you when people answer surveys with “idk”? I know I say “I don’t know” a lot. I try to answer the questions and in more detail, but sometimes I really just don’t know.
What is the current time? 5:08AM.
Should you be doing something other than this? Probably try to go to sleep, but that just wouldn’t be me now would it.
When is the last time you did laundry? My laundry just got gone last night.
What volume is the ringer on your phone? It’s all the way up.
Have you ever won a contest on the radio? No.
What shirt did you wear to bed last night? It was my Mario Bros shirt.
Where did you get that shirt? I got it from Hot Topic a couple years ago.
Do you hear any music right now? No, but I hear the ASMR video I’m watching.
Are you a fan of the band Gym Class Heroes? I like some of their songs.
Overall, how was your day today? Like I said, it’s only 5 in the morning so it’s too soon to say.
Silver or gold jewelry? I like both.
In one word, how would you describe your best friend? Fabulous.
Is there a song that reminds you of your best friend? There’s many.
Do you have an alarm clock? Yeah, on my phone.
What was the weather like today? It’s supposed to rain today. We haven’t had much rain this winter, in fact it’s been awhile, so I hope it does. Do you often write on yourself? I don’t do that anymore, but I did when I was younger. For some reason that was like a thing a lot of people did to themselves in middle and high school. *shrug*
Is there writing on the shirt you are currently wearing? Yes. It’s a shirt from a place I vacationed at.
Would you rather be cold or hot? Cold, most definitely. I love wrapping up in a blanket, wearing a sweatshirt or hoodie, drinking hot coffee, or sitting by the fireplace. I love the coziness. Being hot is just absolutely miserable, there’s nothing I enjoy about that.
Frosted flakes or frosted mini wheats? I like both.
Do mushrooms really add flavor to food? I don’t eat mushrooms.
What about onions? Yeah. I don’t mind if there’s some chopped up pieces in some foods and I like onion rings, but I don’t like onions on my burgers or in my burritos or anything like that.
Are you a fan of Thai food? I’ve never had it.
How about Indian food? I had chicken curry once, which I did like. I couldn’t have it now though cause I can’t eat spicy food anymore. :/
Have you ever tried sushi? Yes, and it was absolutely disgusting. I feel like everyone loves sushi but me.

how do you feel about the person who texted you last? I love him, he’s my dad.
do you own a pair of skinny jeans? All my jeans are skinny jeans.

are your parents still together? Yes.
Are you missing anyone? I’ll always miss my loved ones who have passed away.
What do you currently hear? An ASMR video.
Plans for tomorrow? No. I’m so sick of this question, it’s like in every survey and my answer is always the same. My life is very routine. I spend all my time at home doing the same things, especially since the pandemic. My plans now just consist of my once a month doctor appointment that I have to go to in order to get my prescription refills.
What did you eat for lunch today? Like I mentioned a couple times now it’s only 5 in the morning.

Did you wake up in the middle of the night last night? No, I didn’t even go to bed until like 6ish.
What color is your hair? It’s dark brown naturally, but I dye it red. Currently, it is a lot of my natural hair cause my roots are quite overgrown as it’s been almost a year since I last got it done. Sigh.

Do you trip a lot? No.

Have you ever watched fight videos for amusement? No. I don’t find stuff like that amusing or entertaining at all.

Howard University to add golf teams after receiving sponsorship from NBA star Stephen Curry
https://wapo.st/2z5KgUj
“I was blessed at a young age that we could afford to play,” said Curry, who launched a mini-golf reality show on ABC this summer and is a frequent golf partner of former president Barack Obama. “I just think about how many kids, especially from underserved communities, have the talent to play but just don’t have the funds or the resources.”
Howard University to add golf teams after receiving sponsorship from NBA star Stephen Curry
By Wesley Lowery | Published August 19 at 4:00 AM ET | Washington Post | Posted August 19, 2019 9:56 AM ET |
Following a January screening of “Emanuel,” a documentary about the deadly 2015 shooting of nine black worshipers at a church in Charleston, S.C., a throng of Howard University students jockeyed for handshakes and selfies with the film’s executive producer, NBA star Stephen Curry.
Otis Ferguson, then a junior at Howard, hung back for a moment before catching the ear of the Golden State Warriors guard.
“Hey Steph!” Ferguson called out. “Let’s get in a round of golf before you leave.”
It was a well-calculated shot: In addition to being a three-time NBA champion, two-time MVP and perhaps the best shooter ever, Curry is a passionate golfer.
Ferguson didn’t hit the links with Curry, but they did engage in a brief conversation about their mutual love of the sport. In fact, Ferguson said, he had turned down an offer to play collegiately to attend Howard, which, like many historically black colleges and universities, doesn’t have a golf team.
That chat made such an impression on Curry that he is returning to Washington on Monday to announce that he is sponsoring the creation of men’s and women’s golf teams at Howard — bringing competitive golf to the university for the first time in decades.
“To hear somebody as passionate about the game as I was, all the while still pursuing their education at Howard . . . impacted me,” Curry said in an interview Saturday.
The cost of a collegiate golf program, including both operating expenses and scholarships, can add up to hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. While declining to reveal the exact amount, Curry’s team said he will make a seven-figure donation paid out over the next six years, aimed at giving Howard time to raise an endowed fund that would make the program self-sustainable.
“No matter where you come from or what socioeconomic background you had, we all were that kid once upon a time that was just excited about finding out who they were as a person through athletics,” said Curry, who is encouraging these players to make an impact, as well. The student-athletes who join Howard’s golf program also will agree to volunteer in Greater Washington with Eat. Learn. Play., a foundation run by Curry and his wife, Ayesha, that encourages healthy development in children.
For decades, Howard had a Division II team, which university officials believe was discontinued in the 1970s. The new program being financed by Curry is believed to be the first time Howard will have a Division I golf program in the university’s 152-year history.
University officials say it will take about a year to hire a coach, recruit athletes and figure out where the golf teams will practice and play. One option, they hope, will be Langston Golf Course, the District’s historic black golf course — named for John Mercer Langston, Howard Law School’s first dean and Virginia’s first black congressman. Curry’s announcement Monday will be held at the course in Northeast Washington.
“It’s a big opportunity for us to expose students to a game that oftentimes is played as business deals are decided and a game that generations of families can play together,” Howard President Wayne A.I. Frederick said.
Curry’s announcement comes as the sport — more than 20 years after Tiger Woods became the first black golfer to win the Masters — continues to see deep diversity struggles: The PGA Tour is nearly as white today as it was in the 1980s, a number of historic black golf courses across the nation have shuttered, and golf programs at HBCUs are struggling to survive.
Observers and historians note that while there have always been black golfers and caddies, the sport requires too much money and space to be accessible to many black children.
“It’s not a sport that is cheap for people to play, you have to travel long distances to get to golf courses, and golfers don’t get all of the ballyhoo that basketball and football players get,” said Calvin Sinnette, author of “Forbidden Fairways: African Americans and the Game of Golf” and a retired professor at Howard’s medical school.
“As a result,” he added, “the game doesn’t attract many young black people.”
Most often, it’s a sport passed down from parents to their children, which was the case for Ferguson, who spent his boyhood in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., swinging a set of plastic golf clubs, eager to join his father on the green.
He was playing competitively by middle school and made the varsity team his freshman year of high school.
That same year he took at trip to Howard, where his father and uncle had gone, as well as all three of his older sisters and several cousins. Captivated by Howard’s homecoming, Ferguson decided at 14 he would someday enroll, too.
But attending Howard would mean giving up competitive golf.
Few HBCUs prioritize golf programs, instead focusing the bulk of their resources and scholarships on sports more likely to generate revenue, such as football and basketball. Out of more than 100 HBCUs in the country, about 30 have golf programs — and none have their own golf courses on campus, Sinnette said.
“I think black collegiate golf is going to die unless we come up with another Tiger Woods,” said Eddie Payton, who coached Jackson State University’s golf program, among the best in the nation, for 30 years. In 2017, just one year after Payton retired, the university announced it would disband the golf program.
“It broke my heart,” Payton said. “It’s a damn shame that our university leaders don’t see the value.”
During the spring of his sophomore year at Howard, Ferguson posted fliers suggesting the formation of a campus golf group. He was unsure of what to expect, but nearly 40 people showed up. It took until the following fall for Ferguson to work out the logistics, and by the time Curry arrived in January, the club had begun figuring out where it would practice.
Curry was now squatted in front of him, offering to help in any way he could and providing his email address.
They touched base once, then Curry suddenly stopped responding. It was basketball season, of course. Ferguson decided to keep sending updates.
He emailed Curry to say he had found sponsors for the golf club and to cover the cost of tee times. He sent additional messages as the club competed in each of its first two tournaments. He emailed again to relay that he had had a short conversation with the university president, who seemed receptive to the idea of expanding the golf club into an official team.
Still having not heard back, Ferguson sent a fifth and final email to Curry in May, to congratulate him on the Warriors winning the Western Conference finals. Still nothing.
But Curry had been reading the emails and was determined to figure out how he could bankroll a golf program at Howard.
Like Ferguson, Curry picked up golf from his father, former NBA player Dell Curry, first joining him on the course when he was about 10, then spending three years on his high school golf team.
Once the NBA season had wrapped, Curry’s team reached out to officials at Howard to ask what it would take to restart the program.
“It was sort of a jolt for us,” said Kery Davis, Howard’s athletic director, adding that university leaders had in the past discussed the idea of reviving the golf program.
“Golf has always been a game of privilege,” Davis said. “An association with the sport can break down barriers.”
University administrators began working with Curry’s representatives to figure out what it would take to sponsor a team and whether it was possible to get things in place before the coming fall semester. Amid the flurry of calls to work out details, they realized that in the scramble, no one had told Ferguson.
He found out from a message on Instagram sent by Jeron Smith, a former Howard basketball player who now runs Curry’s creative and business ventures.
“I don’t know what you said,” Smith wrote to Ferguson, “but you inspired Stephen.”
The next day, the long-awaited phone call finally happened.
“I don’t know how to describe how I felt when I realized the power of that moment,” Ferguson recalled. “I was pretty much speechless.”

Scott Petinga on the course with his three daughters, who are all decked out in wynnr golf apparel.
We need to applaud Golden State Warrior guard Steph Curry’s recent generous donation to Howard University to re-establish a golf program at the historically black college. A passionate golfer, Curry has a goal of starting an upward trend of diversity in the game of golf.
Piquing student interest in golf is important for the industry because, according to the National Golf Foundation, participation numbers in the U.S. peaked back in 2005 with about 30 million golfers, coinciding with Tiger Woods’ peak of popularity. But that number has dropped twenty-percent since.
While Curry’s donation is a positive move, Minneapolis-based entrepreneur Scott Petinga believes we need to go a step farther and instill a love for the game even earlier. A thorough analysis conducted in 2013 by ESPN uncovered that by the age of 18, “players largely have been sorted into their categories: future pros; college athletes; club and rec competitors; and those who give up.” Therefore, the more we prolong introducing the sport of golf, the less likely boys and girls will be interested or proficient enough once they head to college.
Scott’s goal is to increase the level of participation and diversity among young people on the links since he’s convinced the game builds character and teaches invaluable life skills. And as a divorced dad, Scott figured it would give him the opportunity to interact with his daughters in an outdoor setting. They figured they’d make an awesome foursome.
What Scott soon discovered is how limited golfing is for young people, starting with fashion. He couldn’t find link-appropriate clothes that appealed to his young ones and was concerned he would lose their engagement. An entrepreneur at heart, he actually set out to design his own line of apparel. The result is wynnr, a hip, colorful and moisture-wicking collection that’s specially designed for golfers aged 4 - 12.
As the brand went from drafting board to reality, Scott wanted to use this experience to educate his daughters about the realities of fast fashion. The larger part of apparel brands in our closets and drawers are manufacturing in low-wage countries where the majority of the workers are illiterate and lack the knowledge, resources and power to fight for their own rights. In Bangladesh, for example, where about 5,000 readymade garment factories generate 80% of the country’s exports to the West, the factory employees earn a deplorable $0.31 per hour. Therefore, by buying clothes from any number of global brands, we are promoting very negative behavior.
While that is troubling in itself, the garments they produce are a major source of global pollution. A recent study by the Ellen McArthur Foundation found that one garbage truck of textiles is wasted every second. Consequently, by purchasing more inferior, fast-fashion clothing than ever and only wearing them a handful of times we essentially are destroying the very planet we rely on to live.
For his part, Scott has become part of a retail revolution. wynnr is a conscious apparel brand which utilizes fair-trade practices and fifty percent of wynnr’s profits go towards providing young people from underserved and underrepresented communities with access to superior educational opportunities. Further, the company is a Gold Sponsor of The First Tee, a non-profit international youth development organization introducing the game of golf and its inherent values to kids and teens. Through after-school and in-school programs, The First Tee helps shape the lives of young people from all walks of life, by reinforcing values like integrity, respect, and perseverance through the game of golf.

Nike Air Max Women
This particular trip produced
Nike Basket Shoes
some of the best memories i’ve ever had. arrived in Montpellier, I embarks direct to the Arena, this new jewel box of 11 000 spaces filled as an egg and ready to accommodate the world event Battle of the year, either the World Final of the greatest contest for Nike dance. It produces hallucination and we said it is good, as early as Monday you are in my store. I’m trying to enjoy the sunshine before it drops back down to 19 degrees tonight. This is the 1e times that Skatething imagine a tee-shirt for an anniversary. A slouchy muscle tank by red23, my favorite skinny jeans, and leopard nike womens dunks.
I wore this cashmere sweater dress on a brisk but beautiful day while out running christmas errands a few days back. on the items for shopping details. Or white skinnies like i’m wearing here. It’s a rainy day out here on the west texas plains, i’m suiting up accordingly. The picture of kate moss below is what got me craving a pair of gold shoes in the first place. It is in
Nike Jordan Kids
pristine condition.
Ca remains the only real attraction of this competition. ), the price goes to 209,99€ for the season or 23,99€ per month. I’ve been waiting to share these salem esque shots from our trip to cibolo creek until today. )
Nike Basket Shoes
easy outfit inspiration for a laid back weekend running holiday errands. A and Steph Curry will become even stronger to avenge the affront by his bro Klay Thompson. My spring shopping list is growing.

Summer Golf 2019: Public Wonders, Private Gems
The calendar says the longest days of the year are finally, officially  here, which can only mean one thing: It’s time to play as much golf as possible. Sweet, sweet summer golf.
Question is, do you go high or low (elevation), north or south? The following rundown looks at several popular summertime golf destinations and clubs, plus a couple year-round spots that, yeah, will require additional heat-beating measures, but are worth a look all the same.
Happy golf-cationing.
The 18th at Edgewood Tahoe
NEVADA: EDGEWOOD TAHOE/CLEAR CREEK
Edgewood Tahoe is known to most casual golfers as that gorgeous spot where the celebrities gather every summer — and will again July 9-14 for the 30th annual American Century Championship, with the likes of Steph Curry, Charles Barkley, Aaron Rodgers and last year’s champ, Tony Romo, slated to tee it up. But for serious golfers the spectacular course should be on every must-play list.
Originally laid out by George Fazio in the 1960s and updated in the early 2000s by son Tom, the course features four holes right on the lake, with views of the giant alpine gem from most other holes. The three-hole finishing stretch is pure mountain magic, with the beachside par-3 17th its signature centerpiece … and ground zero for all kinds of celebrity championship highlight reel material.
The new 9th hole that has been getting a lot of attention lately — it’s now nudged right up against Tahoe with killer views from every inch of tee, fairway and green. Why was it moved? To make way for the Lodge at Edgewood, a high-end boutique hotel that vaulted to the top of many a list the moment it opened in 2017. In 2018 Travel & Leisure named it the World’s Best Small Hotel, and Preferred Hotels & Resorts has just named it Hotel of the Year for 2019. The rooms are exquisite, with open floorplans, huge bathrooms, decks looking over the lake or mountains, fireplaces and all the little touches you’d expect from a top-notch resort. Throw in a full-service spa, pool complex looking over the lake and 9th fairway, excellent in-house dining options (with the exquisite Edgewood Room just steps away in the golf course clubhouse), shopping and close proximity to the South Lake Tahoe gaming and entertainment venues, and it’s a 300-yard-drive of a getaway.
Want to combine a stay at the Lodge with the celeb tournament? Sounds like a sweet summertime plan indeed — a special stay and play opportunity to make you feel like a celebrity before the real superstars take over. Starting at $1,799 with arrival on July 8, this two-night stay package includes your choice of room plus two rounds of golf with cart, one caddie for your twosome, and a starter to announce the names of each player for the morning split tee start on Monday, July 8; an Edgewood golf bundle for each player with logo’d goods: $200 dining credit; special stableford tournament scoring for players choosing to participate with men’s and women’s divisions winners receiving a $100 resort credit; closest to the hole contest on the 17th hole with a $100 resort credit for the closest to the hole winner, and a special three-night Presidential Suite stay prize should you make a hole-in-one; and tickets to the American Century Championship Celeb-Am on Tuesday, July 9.
This package is only available to be booked by phone at 855-314-0488. For more on Edgewood and the Lodge, visit www.edgewoodtahoe.com
The 17th at Clear Creek Tahoe
Just off Edgewood’s 9th hole is another high-end hideaway called the Lake House, but you’ll have to be a member, or the guest of a member, at Clear Creek Tahoe, a private residence community that’s home to an incredible Crenshaw-Coore course just down Highway 50 on the way to Carson City. The 2,136-acre mountainside development currently has cottage and full-sized residential lots for sale, with several homes going up; members are also enjoying Summit Camp, a new pool and recreation center, and there are miles of hiking trails through meadows and through stands of pine and fir, with the occasional drop-dead view of the Carson Valley to the south.
But it’s the golf course that gets the most attention, for good reason. It’s the only C&C mountain design, with their trademark natural transition areas and blowout bunkers dotting the rolling, dramatic tee-to-green landscape. Our call? Finagle an invite or ask for a look-and-see visit, play the course … and try to resist the urge to go all in with a membership of your own.

The Whitetail Club
IDAHO: WHITETAIL CLUB
Another private but worth-seeking-out mountain west destination is Whitetail Club, the second-home golf community in the secret lake/ski town of McCall, Idaho, not far from Sun Valley.
Known as one of Idaho’s premier courses, named among Golfweek's Best Resort Courses for 2016 and listed as one Golf Digest’s America's 100 Greatest Course — expect a full Golf Tips review and rating in the next few months — the scenic, 18-hole, par-72 course designed by Roger Packard and two-time U.S. Open winner Andy North meanders through forested corridors with Edgewood-like forays through open meadows and across sun-splash ponds. Also, the second-home club’s staff are keeping things relevant for its golf loving homeowners by offering players tips on how to play like a Masters Champion, or at least a Whitetail One, via the clubhouse’s full complement of swing analysis equipment.
Whitetail Club also went to great lengths to appeal to golf lovers when it unveiled its first-ever multi-acre golf course townhome neighborhood, The Fairways at Whitetail Club, in late 2018. Made up of multi-acres, the golf course townhome neighborhood holds 34 spacious three- to five-bedroom townhomes alongside the course.
The club also offers a Fish & Swim Club, plenty of trail hiking, indoor tennis and fitness center, a kids’ park and much more.

Desert Mountain Renegade
ARIZONA: DESERT MOUNTAIN
Renegade—the first of six Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses at Desert Mountain Club—reopens this summer after a year-long renovation, led by Nicklaus himself along with Nicklaus designer, Chris Cochran.
Since debuting in 1987, Renegade has placed on Golf Digest’s list of America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses three times. It is a fixture on lists of the best courses in Arizona. In fact, Renegade was once called “the most versatile course in the world” for its use of two greens on every hole, allowing golfers the option of playing it shorter or longer based on the tee and green they chose.
Nicklaus, working alongside Cochran, created a new master plan for Renegade and has been intimately involved in the work, visiting the site several times. Houston-based construction company Heritage Links has implemented the Nicklaus Design renovation plan that included new greens, bunkers, tees, cart paths, drainage, irrigation system, lake construction, and grassing.
Renegade will still provide two pin placements on every hole, allowing Desert Mountain members to customize the course every time they play it. Either pin placement can be played on any given day, providing endless options and distance variety from a forward tee-length of 4,500 yards to a champions’ test of 8,000 yards. The customization goes so far that hole 10 can play as a par 4 or par 5 and hole 12 can be played either as a par 3 or par 4—depending on the day and the choice of the player.  Every available playing option will be rated by the Arizona Golf Association, so players can enter accredited scores.
“Everything—including the game of golf—evolves and when the game changes, you’ve got to adapt with it,” said Nicklaus.  “We opened up the renovated golf course a little bit by flattening the mounds and broadening the fairways, but it’s still the same golf course with two pins on every hole—just with a modernized playing strategy.”
Nicklaus once said that Renegade might be the toughest course he’s designed and played (he kidded on a recent site visit that he shot 83 during the 1987 grand opening—one year after winning the Masters at age 46—and missed only one fairway), while also the easiest, due to the two-green system.
Renegade now features six single greens, with two pins on them, and 12 holes with double- greens. Previously, it was five holes with three greens, and 13 holes with one large green. Golfers’ views of the surrounding mountains have been enhanced, as are the views of the course from the homes that overlook it.

It did a great job showing why the Warriors are so successful and what genuine, influential/effective leadership (in Curry) looks like.
