Can I have some more Steve headcannons please?
Okay! *rubs hands together* Today is a kind of ‘meh’ day for me, so Imma hype myself up with some headcanons ^^
Previous headcanon post, and second one.
TW: discussion of PTSD and panic attacks, and just general angst
Alright *checks notes* first headcanon:
Steve knew about the bugs that SHIELD had in his apartment before Fury told him.
I really like this headcanon, and I put it everywhere. But basically, I think that Steve is smart and observant enough to have found the bugs that SHIELD put into his apartment.
So why would he leave them there? That feeds into another headcanon that I sort of mentioned before, that Steve likes to underestimated. Obviously, SHIELD thought that he either wouldn’t suspect them to bug his home, or he wouldn’t be tech-savvy enough to find the devices. I think Steve wanted to keep it that way. If he removed the bugs, then SHIELD would know he found them, and would react accordingly.
I think Steve would decide it was better to know where the bugs are, rather than remove them and risk having SHIELD put more in that he can’t find. Also, if SHIELD thinks that he doesn’t suspect anything, then they will think whatever they get from his apartment is genuine.
Usually in my mind, SHIELD only implants audio bugs, instead of visual, and they leave his bathroom without bugs.
This is important cuz, for extra angst, now we get to imagine Steve trying to manage his PTSD in an apartment that he knows is bugged.
As you might know with my ‘SHIELD’s A+ Parenting’ headcanon, I fully think Hydra was willing to let Steve struggle with his PTSD, and I doubt they would have done anything if/when they learned about it... but Steve doesn’t know that. So now we have Steve trying to cover for his PTSD in his own home, and the only respite his has is maybe the bathroom.
With audio feeds only at least, he only has to worry about not making a lot of noise during his flashbacks/nightmares etc, but that is still a lot of pressure. (And don’t imagine Steve curled up and panicking on the floor of his bathroom, cuz that’ll just make you sad).
More SHIELD A+ Parenting/ Hydra is terrible
Going along with Hydra-being-inside-SHIELD-didn’t-help-Steve’s-PTSD: If SHIELD gave Steve some kind of counsellor or psychologist after he woke up from the ice, then I headcanon it was a Hydra agent.
That is terrible for several reasons. For one, Steve’s first experience with modern psychology would be with someone - unbeknownst to him - who did not actually want the best for his wellbeing.
Second, and going along with that, if his Hydra-therapist were to be less helpful than would be ideal, Steve wouldn’t know the difference really, and the people at SHIELD would not suspect that there was a problem. They would think he was getting psychological help, when in reality, he was getting anything but.
This would explain why SHIELD dropped the ball so hard with Steve.
Third, after SHIELD, I imagine Steve would be reluctant to get actual help. At some point he is going to have to learn what actual therapy is like. And, maybe, when Natasha puts all of SHIELD’s records onto the internet, he finally learns the his original psychologist was Hydra. That would be extremely violating, and I imagine it would take him a long time afterwards to trust going to a therapist at all— even with encouragement from Sam.
Final headcanon for the day, and going along with the terrible Hydra psychologist: Hydra and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Cabin
This one gets my blood boiling because it is actually canon that SHIELD (/Hydra), sent Steve to “The Retreat” at some point after he woke up from the ice. (This is mentioned in Agents of SHIELD, not in the movies.)
What is The Retreat you asks? Here is the wiki on it, here is the gist:
This safe house retreat is a log cabin that is lined with the same vibranium alloy that is used in "The Cage" on the Bus. The S.H.I.E.L.D. battering ram took a long time to penetrate the door, even though it took very short for them to penetrate the highly armored SUV of Nick Fury. The kitchen was fully equipped with a fridge, sink, and microwave. The living room has a few couches, however, they are very uncomfortable. There is a computer in one corner. A laser fence also lines the perimeter of the property, keeping everything inside contained. Security cameras show everything that happens along the area.
So. A cabin in the middle of nowhere, with security cameras everywhere, and a laser fence around the perimeter.
In other words. A very fancy cell.
*unidentifiable sounds of rage*
Okay. *breathes*. So. We don’t know when, or how long Steve stayed at the cabin (Coulson said ‘after he was defrosted’ and ‘a few weeks’), but, as you can imagine, I have headcanons about those.
Usually I headcanon that Steve is at the cabin for about two weeks, and that SHIELD/Hydra sold it to him as ‘a quiet place were he can catch up on what he missed’. Meaning that they left him there with all the files of the history he missed and told him he could leave once he was finished going through them.
I imagine his (hydra) therapist told him that in order to pass his psych exam for SHIELD, he would need to go to The Retreat. Which is wonderfully manipulative, because it would force Steve to go through all those (probably traumatic) files all by himself if he wants to a) leave the cabin, and b) work for SHIELD (and you can bet that his hydra-therapist made it seem unlikely that he would be able to manage working anywhere else in the 21st century.)
Now, headcanons as to when he did this. I have two separate versions that live side-by-side in my head:
One: SHIELD did this to him before the Battle of New York.
This is just sad because it would mean that Steve spent two+ weeks isolated and alone, reading up on everything he missed, but not really being able to learn about and experience the world he woke up in, before suddenly having to fight aliens and meet his dead-friend’s son (who is 15 years older than him) shortly after finally getting out.
If you want a reason for Steve being high-strung in Avengers, and doing his utmost not to show his PTSD because then he might get sent back to the cabin? Then there you go.
Two: SHIELD sent him to the cabin after the Battle of New York.
I don’t know why, but unlike a lot of people, at the end of Avengers, I didn’t assume that Steve was driving off on his motorcycle to ‘see the world’ or whatever. I instinctively interpreted it as him just driving back to his apartment.
So, if we decide that Steve decides he wants to join SHIELD at the end of Avengers, then that is when SHIELD/Hydra might decide to send him to the cabin.
Which is just great cuz I’m sure fighting aliens and watching people die only a short while after waking up from the ice was just great for Steve and he didn’t need any support or anything during that time. Nah. Isolate him alone in a cabin. Should be fine.
If you want a reason for Steve distrusting therapists and never wanting to admit having problems because he thinks that basically institutionalizing people is still a legitimate technique? There you go.
One day I will write a fic about this bloody cabin, but I haven’t yet.
So yeah. SHIELD/Hydra sucks. And Steve suffered for it.
Apparently we got really angsty headcanons today, but they were fun to share! I hope you enjoyed, and if you want more headcanons let me know!

For your follwer celebration. Steve Rogers x reader. "Yes, Captain." Maybe smutty or funny or both?
One Drive Disaster
Tumblr media
8000 Followers Drabbles Masterlist
Prompt:  "Yes, Captain."
Summary: Steve shared his password for one drive with you and it ends up in a disaster…or not… Warnings: angst, fun, mentions of nudes/porn, implied smut
Pairing: Steve Rogers x Reader
Characters: Bucky Barnes, Natasha Romanoff
Word count: 749
Tumblr media
“What the…? Oh-holy…” Steve gasps with every new file he opens which got uploaded to his one drive.
The system is new to him, but Tony insisted he needs it to make sure all reports get uploaded automatically. This means – every file will get uploaded when someone logs in with Steve’s account.
“Jesus!” Bucky chuckles hearing his best friend curse. Steve is no one to use dirty words for fun, so Bucky knows – something is off.
“Punk, something wrong?” Glancing at Steve’s laptop Bucky tries to get a glimpse of what Steve was staring at. “Show me! Maybe I can help you.”
“No. It’s nothing. I just pressed the wrong button, but I fixed it, Buck.” Steve sweats lightly, even breaths like he ran a marathon, and Bucky raises an eyebrow.
“Did you watch porn? That’s nothing to be ashamed of, Stevie.” Patting his friend's shoulder Bucky looks at the monitor again.
“What did you watch? Student's gone wild. Naughty schoolgirls or Dirty girls?”
“I did not watch dirty movies during work!” Snarling the words through gritted teeth Steve tries to get rid of his friend. “Now let me finish my reports and crap.”
“Yes, Captain.” Bucky snickers the whole way out of Steve's office. “Next time send me the link! Maybe I like it too!” Throwing a stapler at Bucky, his friend sighs deeply.
“Let’s see…” Steve’s eyes are glued to the next file appearing on his one drive. This time it’s a picture, of you, in nothing but your panties. It looks like you took a snapshot with your phone.
“That’s wrong.” His pants suddenly feel too tight, but Steve can’t look away when another picture appears. You, on your bed on all fours, a sexy grin on your lips.
“Holy fuck!”
“Punk! You are watching porn!” Bucky pokes his head back in, just like Natasha when Steve’s face turns bright red. “What are we watching, Captain? Naughty nurses??”
“Out of my office, both of you!” Close to creaming his pants when another picture drops onto his internet-based storage platform Steve breaths heavily.
You are now completely naked, one hand between your legs, the other cupping one of your tits you smirk into the camera. Steve got no clue how you took the picture, but his pants are close to bursting.
“You do not look good Stevie. Maybe you should stop watching porn during work…” The perforator hits the door and Bucky jumps, almost bumping his head into door frame. “Just saying…”
“Get out of here! I am not watching porn, just an annoying educational video.” Steve lies.
“That’s what the kids call it lately?” Natasha winks before the assassin dashes away. “Don’t get blisters, Captain!”
“I hate them all…” Steve’s eyes drift toward the next picture and his eyes round. You pout, looking into the camera as if you would beg him to fuck you like the dirty girl he imagines you are.
Another picture appears and he loses his composure. Jumping up he shuts his computer off before he rushes toward your room.
He needs to tell you about the pictures and documents you accidentally uploaded to his account.
The way to your apartment seems to take hours today and Steve is close to turning around when he remembers, anyone could hack into his account.
His feet carry him faster toward your door and he almost added another dent to it when he knocks a bit too harshly.
“Y/N…” Gasping Steve looks at you, only wearing a t-shirt. There is a print on it saying ‘yes, Captain’, and Steve needs to swallow hard.
“What can I do for you, Captain?” You look up at him, innocently, and Steve doesn’t know how to tell you what he saw. He’s engrossed in glancing at your shirt, knowing what you are hiding underneath.
“I…I need to tell you something important…” Your hand slides over his chest as you still look up at him with doe eyes. “Y/N, there are…”
“Did you like the pictures?” Steve’s mouth falls open and he fails to respond as you slide your hand down to his painfully hard cock. “Or was it the naughty story I wrote for you? What made you so hard, Stevie?”
“It’s Captain for you, dirty girl.”
Eyes shades of dark blue Steve waltzes into your room. He’s kicking the door shut with his foot and you know, he reached his breaking point.
“Get on that bed, face into the cushion, and ass up.”
“Yes, Captain…”

Place In The Woods
Tumblr media
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x OFC
Bucky Barnes still doesn’t know who is, but he knows what he’s not. He’s not HYDRAs weapon anymore. He knows he’s not really the Soldier. He knows he needs to remember the man he was. He didn’t know that an encounter, no matter how brief, with a very special woman would start him down the right path.
Notes:  Takes place immediately after the river scene in CA:WS. Explicit content. Swearing. Smut. And just a touch of fluff. No breaks in story cannon.
Warning 18+ angsty, fluff and smut to follow.
Few headlights past him on the rural road late in the night. Bucky Barnes just drove vaguely north in the stolen 2004 Ford F-150. He had no idea where he was or what may be nearby. Whenever a city seemed closed, he turned the truck in the other direction and stayed as far away from people as possible. Functioning on auto-pilot, he just put distance between himself and the scene.
After pulling Steve Rogers from the water, he found a hidden spot to observe. Part of him want to sit there with the stranger – the target and mission who knew more about him than he did. He felt a deep protective urge that nearly overwhelmed all his training, his common sense, even his fear. The conditioning in his head roared and railed, demanding he complete his mission.
Instead, he took up a position and waited. Bucky fought to stay himself, to hold on to free will. He battled to remain present and aware of his surroundings. He focused on the trigger that broke his bonds, this man who he knew but couldn’t remember. Sooner than should have been possible, Steve stirred. He lifted his head wearily and looked around before touching something in the wrist of his uniform. He laid back with a groan.
The sound of an engine had Bucky vacating the area, having no desire to be captured again. A beacon of some sort must be transmitting Steve’s location. He knew the rescuers could be using any number of scanning technologies and hiding would be useless. Sticking to shadows and alleys, avoiding traffic cameras and other people, Bucky finally found a locked back door to a pawn shop.
Once he snapped the lock in his left hand, the bolt not standing a chance against his prosthetic arm, he knew time was limited. Moving with expert precision, Bucky snagged a ruck sack, a leather jacket, a tactical knife, two 9mm handguns, extra magazines, boxes of shells, and a burner phone. In the office he found a petty cash envelope with $200 and hoodie that should fit. It would do.
All the emergency responders were busy at the chaos caused by the downed helicarriers, and everyone else seemed to be too busy trying find out what happened to pay much attention to a shadow skulking through the streets. He ducked into a beat-up laundromat where the few patrons gathered around the little television in the office beyond the counter. One of the gawkers looked to be about his size. The third drier Bucky checked was full of jeans and jerseys that would fit.
A rueful smile tugged at his lips when he noticed the open thermos, a copy Stephen King’s Dark Tower, and a set of keys, left forgotten amongst the excitement. The faded blue truck sat parked just around the corner. Bucky drove for nearly forty minutes before he found a remote place to pull over.
The old building looked like it may have once been a roadside grocer, but now the windows were boarded up and brush was over taking the drive. He pulled around back, hiding the truck from the road. He lucked out, finding water still flowed from the side faucet. He could clean up and change clothes.
With every piece of equipment he stripped off, strong memories of what he’d done seemed to clarify in his mind. Arm guards dropped onto the tail gate. He pushed his right forearm into the throat of a French ambassador, as he stabbed him. Holster unbuckled. Standing in the shadows of a Swiss banker’s flat, waiting for her to step through the door before shooting. Chest guard joined the pile. Hearing the man say “Bucky?” for the first time.
Suddenly his legs failed, he found himself on the ground. His chest felt too tight. The air too thick to breathe. He looked at his hands and they were shaking. He curled them into fists, but they wouldn’t stop. He panted, wanted to scream, to howl. Fuck, it hurt. He felt raw - like he was coming undone. He curled over his knees, burying his head under his arms.
I know him.
Flashes of memories assaulted his mind. The feeling of a strong hand on his shoulder. Blue eyes. A set of rickety stairs outside a building. A green and blue quilt that smelled like ivory soap and lavender. Potato soup, so hot that his belly felt warm. The smell of boot polish. Being back to back on a battle field. A red-headed nurse. Deep masculine laughter. Swing music. Coffee with milk and two sugars. Stevie laughing and calling him a jerk.
They were good memories. Bucky forced himself to breathe slower. They were all memories worth having. He wiped the tears and snot from his face.
“Get your shit together.” He told himself. “You are Bucky Barnes. Not some soulless fucking asset. You’re not a tool. You’re a person. You just need time to figure it all out. Get your ass up, change clothes, blend in, don’t get caught.”
Bucky followed his own orders. Cleaning up and changing into street clothes, he figured he’d need food and another form of transportation soon. Time to disappear.
It was beginning to get dark when Mattie Williams and Jack, her dog, made it to the cabin. It was tucked along the barrier to a state park. She would usually leave her car in the park and hike in. There were no real roads leading to the cabin, just a trails and one old logging road. Getting in with a vehicle took work. It was perfect. No one knew where she went. No one could track her.
Jack’s ears perked up as he approached the cabin. His tail went stiff. Without question, Mattie slipped her backpack off and dropped it on the wet ground. She pulled the pistol from the holster beneath her jacket. Aiming in the direction of Jack’s eye line, she tapped his back and he edged forward. Coming out of the tree line as silently as possible and hoping the light rain covered what little noise they made, she followed her well-trained dog. The cabin door was open.
She could barely see the outline of a man standing in the one room cabin, looking in the cupboards. Jack’s eyes were locked on him. He was alone. Good.
Mattie slipped closer to the door, gun held ready. “I don’t want to shoot you if you’re just hungry.” The man froze. “But I better like your answer, because out here I can kill you and no one will be the wiser.”
He turned, fierce blue eyes glaring at her from beneath long brown hair. He took one step. The dog took two, teeth bared and growling. He looked to the dog, then back at Mattie - really seeing this time. His shoulders lowered and he brought his hands in front of him in surrender.
“Better.” Mattie did not change her stance. “Best start talking. What are you doing here?”
“I didn’t think anyone was here. The place looked cleared out for the season. I was just hoping for a spot to sleep that was dry.” He spoke softly. His right hand dropped, palm up. “I’ll just leave.”
Jack padded forward, sniffing his hand. He pushed his muzzle in more, stepping closer. His ears relaxed, and tail swayed. He licked the offered hand and looked back at Mattie with a full toothy dog smile.
“Hmm.” Mattie lowered her weapon. She clicked the safety back on, but did not put it away. “Well, you past the first test. Jack.” She called and the dog came around to sit at attention on her left.
“You just going to think I’m okay because your dog licked me?”
“I trust Jack’s judgement in regards to people better than any human I know. He’s never done me wrong. Still doesn’t change the fact that you don’t look like a hiker. You’re not someone who’s living on the streets. You wouldn’t be out here.”
He stared hard at the floor. “I should go.”
Mattie heard the rain start to hit the tin roof with great ferocity. It was a forty-minute hike to the nearest park station and miles to the nearest road. “You hungry?”
He glanced up, question pulling his brows together. Then he nodded.
“Okay, there’s a woodpile around the side. Bring some in, and I’ll go get my pack.” Mattie walked out in the rain, wondering what the hell she was doing. Crouching beside her things, making sure everything was secure, Jack snuggled close. “You think he’s okay, huh, buddy? Yeah, I wonder if he’s a kindred spirit, too.” She scratched his ears. “But warn me if I’m being stupid just because he’s hot as hell, okay?”
Jack woofed and spun around. Mattie laughed.
When she stepped back inside, shaking the rain off her hair, the stranger was loading wood into the old cast iron stove. At least he knew what he was doing. She took a cleansing breath and slipped the gun back into its holster.
“What do you say we start over?” She dropped the heavy pack on the table. “Hi. I’m Mattie. You look like you could use a hot meal.” She extended a hand.
He stood, wiping his gloved hands on his jeans. He shook her hand, still serious and reserved. “Bucky. I’m sorry to intrude.”
Bucky waited for her to show some sort of recognition. He wasn’t sure, but his face had to be on the news somewhere. He’d read that all of Hydra’s secrets had been dropped onto the internet. Surely, they were looking for him by now. It had been three weeks since the battle in DC. Instead, the attractive petite brunette smiled up at him with welcoming big brown eyes.
“Pleasure to meet you.”
She had him get the fire going as she pulled packages of supplies out of her backpack. Jack circled the cabin, checking on them both. Bucky watched her open a storage area under a bench seat loaded with home canned goods, explaining why there were only dishes and pots in the cupboards. Before long a big cast iron pot of stew bubbled on the stove.
The rain created a steady clatter on the roof, but the cabin remained dry and warm. Still, Bucky stay bundled in his coat and gloves. Mattie offered him a cup of coffee, “Make yourself at home, Bucky. You’ve got to be sweating under all that.”
His left hand clenched. “I’m fine, ma’am.”
“Don’t do that, please.” She laughed lightly and slid into the seat across from him. “Just Mattie, okay?”
He nodded, sipping the coffee. Silence stretched out as she studied him closely. Bucky tried not squirm or rile against the close examination. He tried to remember he was a guest. “Thanks for let me stay.”
“Thank Jack.” She gave him a half smile. “So, what are you running from?”
Bucky went completely still.
Mattie casually got up and refilled their coffee mugs. “It’s just a guess, but you’ve got the same sort of tension I’ve seen in the mirror for the last six years. Alone. Alert. Off the grid. Running.”
He chewed his lip. “It’s better that you don’t know.”
“But someone’s after you?”
A single nod.
“Because of something you’ve done or something you know?” Mattie nervously picked at a chip in her mug.
“Both.”
“Are you armed?” Her brown eye locked with his blue.
“Yes.” He didn’t flinch.
“So, how is this going to work? Are we going to hold up here in an uneasy truce, or are we going to see if we can trust each other?” Mattie truly hoped they could trust each other. She’d been longing to have some to talk to, much less someone who looked like they could take care of whatever happened to be thrown at them.
Bucky desperately wanted to give in, wanted to take the opportunity to unburden himself of everything his mind had churned up in recent weeks. Fearing that once he started he would not stop, he held his tongue. Besides, she was kind and he did not want to bring her any more trouble. “I don’t know.”
“Alright,” Mattie pushed herself up. “Food should be hot.”
In silence, they dished up bowls of stew and ate slowly. The food was hot, tasty and filling. Mattie, gestured with her spoon for Bucky to help himself to more when he emptied his dish. Mattie rinsed her bowl and fixed Jack his food while Bucky ate his second helping.
She watched her dog munch away, and then just couldn’t stop herself. “I’ve had him for four years. Best decision I ever made. He’s smart, well trained, and great company. I can sleep if he’s with me. Before then, I never really slept. Every little noise would jerk me wide awake. Then I’d go until exhaustion got the better of me, and I slept too deep so the nightmares would come with a vengeance.”
Bucky held still, just listening. Afraid to break the spell, not wanting her to stop but not knowing what to say.
Mattie came over and picked up Bucky’s empty dish. Her hand rested on his shoulder and she squeezed. The sensation felt foreign and yet familiar. He closed his eyes against sudden and confusing emotions. “I promise I won’t do anything to bring you harm, and Jack will know if anything comes close before we will. Tonight, sleep hard and for as long as you want.”
Bucky didn’t trust his voice, nodding.
After doing the dishes, Mattie pulled on her jacket and took Jack out. She must have stayed on the porch because only the dog was soaked. As Bucky watched her towel him off, he considered what he could share and still keep her safe.
“I may have nightmares.” He stood nearby, hands buried in his jeans pockets. He’d removed his jacket and gloves, leaving him in the long sleeve hoodie.
“It’s okay. Me, too.”
“I want to tell you, but knowing is dangerous.”
Mattie suddenly looked very tired, “That’s what got me into this mess to begin with. Who ever thought the saying ‘ignorance is bliss’ would be so damn true?”
“Don’t know about that. Not knowing is just as bad.” Bucky frowned, think about all the lost time, all the lost memories, the chair and painful wipes.
“Were you military?” Mattie unzipped her boots and crawled onto the armchair, feet tucked beneath her.
“Not for years.” Bucky shook his head, sitting across from her on the small old sofa. Jack jumped up and put his head in his lap.
Mattie immediately noticed his left hand and made no secret of it. “Well, that’s some next level shit.”
He flexed his hand, “Um, yeah. I suppose.”
“Secret Service, CIA or something?”
“No.” His rubbed the dog’s head.
“S.H.I.E.L.D.?”
Bucky’s head snapped up in surprise. But he slowly shook his head.
“No? Hydra?”
“Stop.”
Mattie swallowed. Hard.
Bucky waited. She would tell him to leave. He berated himself for allowing her to go on. This was a stupid idea.
“Well, if you’re running from those bastards, we have more in common than you may think.” Mattie stood up, going to a cabinet and pulling out a bottle of whiskey. She took a swig straight from the bottle as she walked over. She held it out. He took belt off the bottle and gave it back.
She folded herself back into her chair. Mattie studied the light playing on the amber liquid for a moment before taking another drink. “I stumbled on to the wrong thing at the wrong time. It cost me everything. Those cockroaches have long memories, and I’ve been hiding ever since.”
He nodded in agreement, but she wasn’t looking at him. Her sight drifted off into the distant past.
“I was nurse once, working on humanitarian program in South America. We treating kids with birth defects – everything from cleft palates to heart valve repairs. Something happened, a battle of some sort, and our little hospital was overrun by these people. Hydra, I later found out. They had their own people to take care of and apparently the little ones were taking up needed resources.” Mattie took a large swallow of the whiskey. “Some of us were necessary, some were not. The patients, the babies and their families, were just in the way. They ordered everyone . . . neutralized.”
Mattie fought to push back the memories of the killings. The Hydra doctors ordering some of the children to be taken for experiments and the screams for the days that followed crept into her consciousness.
“But you escaped.” Bucky felt a little sick. Of all the assassinations he remembered, he thankfully did not recall any children.
“Barely, with one of the hospital workers who sometimes smuggled for a cartel. I really don’t know how I survived that first couple weeks. I learned really quickly how many eyes there are in any given city. I started patching up wounded gang members that couldn’t go to an ER. My skills came in handy. I started trading medical services for instruction on anything that would help me survive.”
She took a final swig off the bottle of whiskey before standing and offering it to Bucky. “That’s my story, glossing over some of the details, of course. It’s been sixteen months without them catching my scent.”
He took the bottle and drank down a hearty mouthful, even though the alcohol did nothing to his serum enhanced system. The burn reminded him he was still human. Bucky watched Jack get up to stretch as Mattie put the whiskey away.
“What do know about Hydra?” He asked, leaning forward with his elbows on his knees.
“A lot more now than I did a month ago.” She admitted. “They are a lot more powerful than I ever imagined. I spent a few unbelievable days digging through the data dumped online. Made my problems seem so unbelievably small.”
“Did you,” he took a deep breath, “see anything about me?”
“I definitely don’t remember reading about anyone with the name Bucky, and I don’t think I saw any pictures of you.” Mattie frowned, an ugly realization settling in. “You’re not just running from them. You worked for them.”
“Not willingly.” He ground out through clenched teeth.
“What did they have on you?” She asked, carefully moving to sit on the opposite side of the sofa from him.
“It wasn’t like that.” He hung his head.
“They fucked with your mind. Oh god.” Mattie breathed. She’d read about the technology after the files were dumped. She’d dug straight into the medical experiments Hydra performed. A morbid need filled her to understand the depravity of it, even though she held no power to stop it yet. “Didn’t they?”
His hands clenched together. Eyes locked shut. Conflict raged in his mind. He wanted to run out the door and get as far away as possible. He wanted to crumble onto the floor and tell her everything. He needed to go. This was dangerous.
Then Bucky felt her small hand rest on the back of his head. He released the breath he didn’t realize he’d been holding. Mattie barely heard him whisper, “They destroyed it.”
Bucky honestly could not remember last time anyone touched him with kindness, but he found himself leaning into the shoulder of this kind-hearted woman, who had every reason to not trust him. Yet, her arms wrapped around his shoulders and fingers caressed his hair as if comforting a child. He breathed in the clean, distinctly feminine scent of her. He committed every sensation to memory.
Mattie held him, heart breaking for this stranger. She could tell this simple comfort, this simple touch, surprised him. How long had it been? He leaned against her, but did not cling or grope. Mattie found herself squeezing him tighter.
“I’m so sorry. Do you want to tell me what happened?” She asked, stroking his hair.
He exhaled, warm breath tickling across her neck. He did not want to move, so he remained in her embrace. Although he knew he should not say anything, he wanted to. “They wiped my mind. They stole my memories. They made me their asset. They made my compliant.”
Mattie knew she did not fully comprehend the extensiveness of his confession, but she’d read enough to know it had to be a hundred times worse than her imagination could fathom. Her throat tightened. “But you got away.”
She felt him nodded. Hesitantly, his arms encircled her waist. They remained that way for a while, just absorbing the strength from each other’s presence. Bucky chuckled when a wet nose nudged between them. Mattie’s light laughter joined him and she scratched Jack’s ears. “Someone wants in on the group hug.”
Bucky sat back. “I don’t know why you are being so nice to me, but I don’t know how to thank you enough.”
“I’m sure I’ll think of something.” Mattie joked with a wink as she retreated to throw another piece of wood into the stove.
The moment gone, they settled in for the night. Bucky insisted upon sleeping on the little sofa, although his legs hung over the edge. Jack jumped up on the bed with Mattie, curling against her back. The steady clatter of rain and warm crackling of the fire surrounded them as they both dozes off.
Jack woke Mattie with a wet nose. She jerked, instantly aware. Jack whined and padded to Bucky’s side. She approached slowly, watching his face contort in pain. Mattie fought the urge to smooth the furrow from his brow, but knew that he would likely lash out.
“Bucky.” She spoke kindly but loud enough to hopefully wake him. “Bucky, wake up.”
He began to curl up, defensively, growling and grunting in his sleep as if fighting against something holding him down. The more she spoke his name, the more he thrashed. His left arm swung out, metal breaking through the wood of the coffee table. Jack barked.
Bucky sat up straight, eyes wild.
“Bucky?”
“I…” he looked around wildly before knotting his hands in his hair, burying his head into his knees. “Sorry. Nightmare. Sorry, I woke you.”
“It’s okay.” She sat closer to him touching his head, feeling how tightly his fingers were clenched in his hair. “They’re nightmares. Memories. Not real. You’re here and you’re safe. For now, tonight, you’re safe.”
Bucky released the hold on his head, lolling toward her lap. The feel of her warm hands on the back of his neck and her fingers in his hair practically drew a whimper from his chest. He pushed up, elbows on knees, and tried to lift his head. He pushed away the grip of the nightmare.
She stood, taking him by the arm. “Come on.”
“What?”
Mattie just pulled him along with her to the bed. He shook his head, but still followed. “I don’t want to hurt you. Look what I did to the table.”
She ignored his words, and just crawled on the bed and held up the quilt for him. Bucky sighed and lay down beside her. When she rolled over, he spooned up behind her on instinct. Mattie yawned and buried herself deeper into the covers. Her fingertips stroked the skin of his forearm.
Bucky closed his eyes, allowing the scent and sensation to lull him back toward sleep. A part of his mind still spun, alert and fearful. He now felt different, particularly holding this woman in his arms. It was an old feeling, the urge to be a protector instead of a creature of destructions. Feelings that still felt confusing and long forgotten stirred in his chest.
He felt Jack jump up on the bed and settle atop the covers behind his knees. Two weeks ago, the thought of being sandwiched like this would be terrifying. However, this felt warm and safe. Bucky breathed in the scent of her hair. He felt the rise and fall of her chest. Her bare toes found the exposed flesh of his ankle between his sweats and sock.
Waves of emotions, long forgotten, rolled over him. He battled to keep his breath steady, trying desperately not to panic from it all. Bucky wanted to enjoy this. He needed it. Still he felt the urge to run from the feelings, from the pain the memories, from the ache behind his eye. Bucky felt guilt for bringing trouble to this wonderful woman, but he did not want to let her go. He feared hurt her, and still wanted to crush her to him with all his strength. Part of him wanted to weep.
Mattie sighed, she rolled over in his arms. She did not look up at him, but wrapped her arms around him and buried her face into his neck. “It’s okay.”
Bucky squeezed her tighter, feeling her soft hair against his face. He couldn’t breathe.
Her hands rubbed his back and shoulders. He froze. She did not stop at the raise scars where flesh met metal, she continued and murmured words of comfort. Bucky’s fingers knotted in her night shirt. Mattie felt his muscles begin to let go, allowing him to breathe. She didn’t need to see or hear the hot tears that slipped into her hair.
Sleep must have overtaken him, because Bucky awoke to the feeling of Mattie jerk in his arms. He looked down, through the dark seeing her face crumple in her sleep. A quiet whine and a shift at the foot of the bed brought his attention to Jack. “It’s okay, boy.”
He swept the hair away from her face. “Mattie.” He spoke low and calm. “Doll, wake up.”
It took a few more tries, but her eyes flew open. She didn’t thrash out or make a noise. Tears filled her eyes and spilled down her cheeks. She stared at Bucky for a moment before touching the hand that held her face. “I’m alight.”
She sat up and looked at her watch on the bedside table. It was still the middle of the night. Bucky watched as she got up and put another piece of wood in the stove. Tears continued to flow down her face. She made no move to wipe them away, made no apologies.
When Mattie climbed back under the quilts with him, Bucky wiped away some of the wetness with his thumb. He surprised himself by asking. “Do you want to talk about it?”
They lay there in the dark, faces close and legs wound together, quietly sharing their nightmares. Neither backed away from the other’s terror or judged the other’s fear. Bucky found he could talk about his nightmares. They weren’t real even if they were born from memories. He could discuss the memories that came back to him in dreams. The conflict of his conditioning didn’t plague him as they spoke into the night.
Mattie awoke slowly, aware of the solid warm body curled around her. Soft lips and the tip of a wet tongue languidly rubbed along the back of her neck, behind her ear. A large hand supported one of her breasts, under her shirt. Clearer thought formed in her head, and she could feel the very hard erection pressed into the curve of her ass.
She could only marvel at what a wonderful way it was to wake up. Her heart rate picked up. She laid there, lazily, unsure if Bucky was really awake. Mattie pushed the logical part of her brain aside. This man may be dangerous, he may be broken, but he was strong and he understood something of what she’d been through. He made her feel safe. He felt amazing.
Bucky froze.
Mattie slipped her hand up to cover his where he held her breast. She nuzzled her neck closer to him. Bucky’s mouth kissed her neck again and she hummed in delight. He moved his hand to rest on her waist. The puffs of his breath in her hair tickled her ear.
“Doll, I...” He didn’t know what to say. Should he apologize? He wasn’t sorry. Should he say he wanted her? That he wasn’t sure what was happening?
Mattie rolled over and took his face in her hands. “What do you want?”
“I don’t want to hurt you.”
She smoothed back his hair, smiling. “Thank you for that, but what do you want?”
Unable to resist, Bucky covered her mouth with his own. It was a soft, chaste kiss that carried more emotion than heat. He touched his forehead to hers, closing his eyes. His lips brushed the corner of her mouth again. “I don’t want to take advantage.”
Mattie actually giggled. He smiled at the sound, still keeping his eyes closed. He felt her kiss along his jaw and it made him ache. “Bucky, do you want me?”
He still her hands with his own. When their eyes locked, both were blown wide with passion. “I do, Mattie. I do, but I don’t want to hurt you.”
“Hurt me how?” She asked. “I’m not expecting anything-”
“No, Doll.” Bucky kissed her fingers. “I’m afraid of physically hurting you.” Confusion crossed her beautiful features. He sighed. “I haven’t - I don’t remember the last time – I was with a woman. I have a hard time keeping my mind my own. I’m worried that I could lose – that I wouldn’t be able to stop – that I couldn’t control myself and get – rough.”
Mattie slowly nodded her head, biting her lip. “After what you told me last night, I can understand. But Bucky, while you were sleeping just now you weren’t violent. If anything, you made me feel safe. We don’t have to do anything you don’t want to, but I’m not afraid of being hurt by you.”
Bucky studied her, taking in the chocolate of her eyes and curve of her face. He believed her. The Universe should be beating him against jagged rocks for the things he’d done, and yet somehow, he’d found this calm harbor. Somehow, this amazing woman appeared like a balm against his weary soul.
His lips found hers again, gentle and searching. As their kiss deepened, he swallowed the whimper escaping her throat. She needed this just as much. Bucky kissed and nipped his way from her jaw to just beneath her ear. Her hands raked up his side, pushing his shirt higher. He involuntarily flinched. She stopped, but he nuzzled closer.
“Don’t stop.”
Mattie pulled at his clothes, tossing the shirt to the floor. She leaned over him, admiring the thick muscles and feeling his warm skin. She felt a pang in her heart for all the scars. He let out a shaky breath as her mouth trailed all the evidence of his pain as if she could kiss it away. When her tongue laved over his stomach, his hips involuntarily rocked forward.
“Fuck, Doll...”
Mattie crawled up his body, mouth wet and hair mussed. Bucky kissed her thoroughly, a gnashing of tongues and teeth, and she met his vigor with her own. Her leg swung over his hips and he moaned into her mouth when she sat back against him. He could feel her heat through their sweats as she rubbed against his length.
She sat up and tossed her shirt aside. Bucky’s mind went blank for a moment as he took in this amazing woman. His hand moved of their own accord, desperate to feel the soft flesh, the firm weight, of her breasts. Her hair fell down her back in a mass. A flush tinted her delicate skin. Most alluringly, a sultry wicked grin danced across her lips.
“You are gorgeous.” Her nails trailed down his chest and she bit her lip.
Bucky sat up, wrapping her in his arms. “No. But you are the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.”  His mouth found hers again as he rolled them over. He took one hardened nipple into his mouth, fingers toying with other. Her nails scraped along his scalp and tugged at his hair. He wanted to devour her, touching and tasting everywhere.
As he reached the waist of her sweats, she lifted her hips in an eager attempt to be rid of the barrier. His mouth nipped at her hip, licked across to her inner thigh. Mattie’s legs opened wider of their own accord. The scent of her filled his head and he groaned. His fingers slipped through her folds, already slippery and wet for him.
He looked up, locking eyes with her as he leaned forward and lapped at her dripping cunt. The intensity in his blue eye while his face buried between her legs was the hottest thing she’d seen. It ripped the breath from her. “Holy shit.”
His tongue stiffened and flicked at clit. He sucked it in his hot mouth. First one, then two, strong fingers entered her. His strokes firm, curling as he felt her moan on the perfect spot. He hummed and groaned the most divine sounds, like he was in heaven. If this was out of practice for the man, Mattie was sure that Bucky at the top of his game would kill her.
The tension wound tighter and Mattie breathed deeper, not fighting it, not forcing it. She watched Bucky, listened to him. Drowned in the sensations. A warm flush filled her. “Oh god, Bucky, fuck. I’m about to. . .”
The pressure and the pace of his fingers increase and he sucked harder with a growl. Mattie came apart, flooding over his hand, being licked up by his tongue, shaking under his touch.
Her hand wound into his hair as he feathered kisses over her belly, a giant smile on his sex soaked face. “Come up here and kiss me.” She demanded. Their mouths clashed together, heated and desperate. Mattie’s hand reach inside his sweats, wrapping as best she could around his thick cock. He growled into her mouth and she giggled.
“Get naked.”
Bucky flopped onto his back, kicking off his sweats. Before he could move, Mattie settled herself between his knees. She massaged her hands into his strong thick thighs. Kissing along his hips, feeling her way closer. She pushed her hair over one shoulder and took his cock by the base. He watched her, open mouthed, as she ran her tongue from base to tip before taking him in her mouth completely.
“Fuck.” He groaned out a slow breath.
She began to fuck him thoroughly with her mouth, toying with her tongue and hollowing her cheeks, he knotted his fists into the sheets. Bucky desperately wanted to take her by the hair, wanted more, want to slam his dick to the back of throat and come. “Doll, you’ve got to stop.” He pulled at her “Or this will be over before it begins.”
Mattie nipped at nipple before moving to his jaw. “But I enjoy it so much.” She whined.
“I can tell.” He massaged her ass, feeling her rub against him. “Tell me you’ve got some sort of protection, ‘cause I really want to fuck you.”
She looked him in the eye, suddenly serious. “Did you mean it when you said this stuff they gave you, the serum, keeps you from getting sick or contracting or carrying anything?”
“Yes.”
“Well, I’m clean and I’m on the pill.”
His brows drew together. She wondered if it was more quizzical than concern.
“I can’t get pregnant right now.”
A slow smile spread over his face, hips rocking. “Really?”
Mattie ran her tongue along his lower lip before kissing him. “Really.” She rolled her hip so just the tip of him pressed into her wet entrance.
“Sweet fucking Jesus.” Bucky’s right hand went into her hair, holding her head close his. His left took her by the hip and guided her down as she impaled herself upon him. She panted, moving slowly, experiencing the fullness, adjusting to him and relishing in the feeling.
He kissed her again as she rocked, moving more. Blood rushed through her veins. Breathing each other in, kisses wet and messy, his nose rubbed again her smooth skin. She bit his lip, pulled at his hair. His metal fingers dug into her hip, her ass.
It felt amazing, but not enough. Bucky flipped her over hiking her knees up over his forearms and sank himself deep into her, hard and fast. Mattie cried out. “God!” He froze. Did he hurt her? Her hands clenched his shoulders, nails scraped up into his hair. “Fuck me! Hard, Bucky, fuck me hard.”
He slammed into her, causing the bed to creak. Mattie’s breath rushed from her body. Her body pliant and alive under his. She felt like the waves of near pain and exquisite pleasure would drown her. All she could do was hold on for the ride.
Bucky would not last, it had been so long. He wanted this so bad. He released her legs, and brought his own knees up, angling her hips. Mattie began to make delightful mewing noises. He nipped at her inner wrist, tasting her pulse. His right hand kneaded her tit, pulling at the over sensitive nipple.  He was fighting to hold it together. She began to quiver in his arms. Their eyes were locked until her eyes rolled back as her body clamped around his cock, flooding over him, hot and wet. He plummeted over the edge in violent releasing, leaving him breathless.
They lay there, wrapped around each other, smelling of sweat and sex. Neither wanting to move. Neither wanting the rain to stop or the moment to end.
Bucky’s eyes drifted open at the sound of water running. Maggie stood at the sink filling a large kettle, wearing nothing but an oversized red flannel shirt with the sleeves rolled up. The back of her hair was a mass of tangles.  The rain had stopped. Jack lifted his head up from the foot of the bed to look at him.
“Hey Doll,” he muttered, voice thick with sleep. “Whatcha doing?”
“No hot water here. I’m just heating some up for a bath.” She cocked an eyebrow as she glanced over her shoulder at him. “Unless you want to take a cold shower?”
He gave her a surprisingly easy chuckle. “I’m used to those. How about we just get dirty again?”
Mattie laughed, continuing her task. Muted sunlight filtered into the cabin, an early morning sun fighting to break through thick clouds. A kettle whistled on the stove and she set it aside to add the other. He watched her move about with easy. She had great legs.
“Come ‘ere.”
She crawled under the warmth of the quilt, giggling when he rolled her over and pinned her down with his body. His mouth covered her smile with a lazy kiss. The tip of her tongue traced the curve of his full lips, drawing rumble from his chest.
“How the hell did I manage to get so lucky?” Bucky nipped at her ear. “This time yesterday, I thought for sure I was in for a bum rap.”
Mattie giggled. His body felt amazing, solid and hot. His scruff rubbed along her neck as those sinful lips kissed under her ear. Bucky laughed low against her skin as Jack belly crawled over the blankets and on top of the two of them.
The dog whined.
“He’s either jealous or needs to go out.” Mattie giggled.
Bucky adored the sound. Jack barked. “Out it is.”
He rolled off of her and she got up to open the cabin door.  He watched her as she stood in the open door. Dark worries, images of this kind woman being shot down from the woods for nothing more than harboring him filled his mind. Standing there, in the morning light looking beautiful and relaxed, she would make such an easy target.
Leaving would be the right thing to do.
“What it is?” Mattie asked, concern etched over her features.
He’d been too lost in thought to notice her stare. Bucky shook his head, frowning hard. He should get dressed and go. Still, moving seemed impossible.
She shut the door when Jack came back in. She moved the second kettle off the direct heat on her way to sit beside him. Mattie touched his bearded cheek, ran her fingers through his hair.  “What just happened?” Bucky locked his eyes closed, shaking his head. He couldn’t admit to the images of her bloody form in the doorway. “Please. Something went through your mind. Did you remember something?”
“No.” He held her palm to his face, eyes still closed. “I just. This is dangerous. Bad things could happen.”
“Oh, Bucky.” She pressed her lips to the furrow in his brow. “Yes. This is dangerous.”
His eye opened to get lost in her sincere gaze.
“Dangerous. But everything about my life is. This,” She kissed him softly, “is a gift. I’m not fool enough to think this could be ‘ever after’ and I know that the longer we’re in each other’s company the better chance the people after you and the people after me may stumble over each other. But for now, for just a few quiet days, let’s enjoy the time we have. Please.”
Bucky tasted her lips. Mattie kissed him back, thoroughly. It was slow, wet, lazy. He pulled her down beside him, hands touching her reverently. She responded to each caress with little moans and mews.  He lifted the flannel shirt off her. She wrapped herself around him, urging him further, pushing the dark thoughts away.
He went slow, taking his time, drinking her in, savoring every sensation.  Mattie moaned deep, knotting her hands in his hair, when he slipped into her. She was wet and wanting, loving the feel of his weight, the touch of their bodies. They moved together, tasting, touching, staring into each other eyes.
The orgasm caused Mattie’s very core to quiver, every intense sensation washing over her at once. She buried her face into his neck and felt tears in her eyes. Bucky held her tight, wanting to drown in her. His own release followed shortly after. He kissed the sweat off her brow, but did not want to move out of her.
“Don’t move.” Mattie pleaded. “Not yet.”
“I’m too heavy.” He smiled against her skin.
“You’re perfect.” She breathed.
As their bodies cooled, Bucky rolled off of her, but still held her close. When she began to pull away, he took her hand. “I’m going to set up the bath.” She explained.
Bucky heard water running in the bathroom. Then watched her fetch the kettles. Mattie moved about, comfortable in her nudity. She drew him from the bed and into a deep, wide copper tub. The water was hot, but not scalding and he knew it would cool soon.
“You’re going to join me, aren’t you?” He sat up and made space between his legs. “There’s room.”
“Yes.”
She took his hand and slipped down in front of him. Bucky lathered up a wash cloth and gently cleaned her body. “I need to move on soon.”
“I know.” Mattie laid back against his chest. “Stay just another day or two. I can go into town, get you supplies. It wouldn’t take long.”
Bucky considered for a while, stroking her skin with his fingertips. Mattie took his left hand into hers, carefully examining the metal digits that brought her such pleasure.
“I will go tomorrow night.” Bucky said at last. “It’s not safe for me – or you – if I stay in one place any longer.”
“Then today I’ll head into town. What will you need?”
“You don’t have to -”
“I know I don’t have to,” Mattie flicked water in his face with a giggle. “But I’m going to.”
He laughed, wrapping his arms around her. “Fine. Food. A new burner phone, too.”
When Mattie and Jack walked into the woods, Bucky grabbed an energy bar and a bottle of water. He wondered a ways from the tree line until he came to the hiding spot of the cross over motorcycle he’d stolen. He checked his supplies. Nothing had been disturbed. Bucky climbed up into the branches of a nearby tree, finding a location with a good view of the cabin and the direction Mattie disappeared. Resting a gun in his lap, Bucky waited.
Mattie made it to her car much quicker without the rain. The drive into the nearest town didn’t take long. Jack stuck his nose out the window along the way, enjoying the wind. She swung into a super store on the outskirts of town to do some shopping.
After, she picked up a coffee and surfed the internet on the burner phone she’d picked up for herself.
Googling ‘Bucky Barnes’, the very first entry was from the Smithsonian. Mattie read, hand over her mouth. Page after page, told of the WWII heroes and their fight. She read about the only member of the Howling Commandos to die, James ‘Bucky’ Barnes. She stared at the black and white photos, knowing just how blue those eyes were in real life.
“Well, Jack.” She scratched her dog’s head. “Now all the old slang makes sense.”
On the hike back, she wondered how much he knew about himself. Bucky said he’d lost his memory. Hydra scrambled his mind. What else did they do to him? How was he still alive, and she smiled to herself, very virile. One thing Mattie was certain of, he was important. For heaven’s sake, the site called him ‘Captain America’s oldest and dearest friend’. Good side or bad, people were going to be desperate to find him.
She made it back to the cabin to find it empty. Damn. Mattie dropped her pack on the table.
Footsteps, heavier than necessary, came onto the porch. Jack stood at the door with his tail wagging.
Mattie rushed to the door and threw it open. “For a second there I thought you skipped out on me.”
Bucky ran his hand through his hair. “No, Doll. Just looking around.” She smiled brightly and grabbed the front of his shirt to pull him in for a kiss. “Nice to see you too.”
“I’ve gotten you something, and um, we need to talk.” She led him inside.
Mattie handed him a beer, still cool from her pack. He cracked it open and thanked her. “Okay, here’s travel food and that phone you wanted. I also got you this.”
Bucky took the medical supply box with a questioning look.
“It’s a sterile dressing for people healing from burns. It only goes to the elbow, but the it will cover your hand and forearm. A bandage is far less noticeable than the metal. It won’t be as conspicuous as a single glove either.” Mattie opened her own beer and sat down beside him.
“Great idea. Thank you.” Bucky took the dressing out, examining the flesh tone nylon.
“Bucky, do you remember the war?” She asked quietly.
Disjointed flashes of bombed out buildings and heavy wet wool uniforms and heavy rifles filled his mind. “I don’t know.”
“What about Captain America? Do you remember Captain Rogers?”
Bucky’s hand shot out grabbing her wrist painfully. He growled. “What?”
“Honey, ease up you’re hurting me.” Mattie said her voice flat, body still. His eyes widen and he snatched his hand away. “I did a little digging on the internet. Not much, but you two go way back. They two of you have a real history. He was your best friend once – ages ago, before World War II. Bucky, how is that possible?”
She watched a dozen emotions dance through his eyes. Finally, he looked at her sad and lost. “I don’t know what I remember. It’s all jumbled. I just see moments, flashes of people or things or places. It doesn’t make any sense.”
“He’s an Avenger now. He knows Tony Stark. If there’s anyone who get you the best help possible -”
“No.” Bucky clinched his fists. “I would be turned over to the authorities. I’ve done things. People will want me dead. Or worse, I’ll be their lab rat.”
Mattie’s heart broke at the pain and self-loathing in his voice. Her fingers ran through his hair. She couldn’t seem to stop herself from touching him. But he leaned into it, quietly accepting the comfort. “Okay. You figure it out your way. You should know, in the American History Museum in DC, there’s an exhibit. It’s all about your heroic time in the war."
Bucky’s eyes snapped up, mind reeling. He was in a museum, as a hero? He laced his fingers with hers, resting his forehead to their entwined hands. He wanted to remember.
“I got you something else.” She pulled out a brown leather journal with a pen in the clasp. “If your memories are coming in bits and pieces, then maybe writing them all down will help you put it all together. I know I wrote in journals to keep my head on straight when I was first running. Got it all out, you know. I couldn’t talk to anybody about it, so it went on the page.”
“I don’t know that I’m much of writer.” Bucky picked up the journal and flipped through the blank pages.
“No one will see it but you. Who cares? Hell, just make lists if that helps.” She smiled.
“Why?”
“Why journal?”
“No, why are you doing all of this? I don’t deserve it.”
Mattie giggled. “Well, when else will I ever get the chance to have a bonafide national hero in my bed?”
Bucky rolled his eyes, but grabbed her and pulled her on his lap. He nipped at her neck. “I’m no hero.”
“Super-hot hundred-year-old dude, then?” She giggled harder.
“Doll.” He tweaked her nipple through her bra. “You calling me old?”
“I’m just saying-”
Bucky stalled her words with his tongue. She moaned into him. His hand slipped up under her shirt. Mattie trailed her mouth along his sharp jaw to nip at his ear, earning a growl from his chest. He stood, depositing her on the table. He pulled his shirt over his head as Mattie began toss away her clothes.
Helping her pull her jeans off, Bucky dropped to his knees before her. He lifted her leg over his shoulder before spreading her legs wide, unabashedly marveling at her glistening sex.  His cool metal fingers tracing through her folds, as he nipped his way along her inner thigh. Mattie leaned back on both hands as his mouth covered her.
Bucky’s licks and sucks became more fevered. Her moans failing to drown out his wet slurping and satisfied growls. His fingers slid in and out of her quivering cunt, pressing deliciously on sensitive flesh. Mattie’s hand wound in his hair tight. “Oh, holy shit!”
He suddenly stood, jeans down, and rammed himself deep in one trust. Mattie cried out. Bucky dug his fingers into her hips, pounding into her hard. “Yes, Doll.” Bucky growled. “Squirt all over my cock.”
She did, coming hard and soaking him. He didn’t wait for her to recover, but flipped her over belly down on the table, ramming into her again. His left hand pressed into her lower back, his right took a handful of her hair. Mattied cried out. “Fuck yes!”
Spurred on, Bucky pulled her head back, biting down on the back of her neck. Mattie’s second orgasm hit her completely by surprise. Her legs shook and her body spasmed. Bucky held her up, unrelenting. “Shit, Baby. So fucking good.” Words tumbled from his mouth.
He lifted her leg onto the chair, letting him go deeper, crashing against her wall. The sounds coming from her whipped him into a fever. So hot. Yes, she moaned, always letting him go on, lost in the heady smell of sex and nerves on fire.
Bucky almost lost it when she looked over her shoulder, eyes heavy, panting and giving him the sexiest, wicked smile he’d ever seem. She shook, her mouth fell open. He felt her clench his cock. “Oh god! Fuck yes!” She whined. Gripped hard, he fucked her rough, losing his rhythm as he came just after her.
Mattie lay face down on the table, shaking, panting for a moment. He turned her over to hold in his arms with gentle hands, but her knees buckled. He held her flush against him. She giggled, love drunk.
“You okay, sweetheart?” Bucky nuzzled his nose into her hair.
“Way better than okay. Amazing. Gimme a minute, though, I can’t seem to find my legs.” She kissed his chest.
He laughed, an easy and honest chuckle, erupting from his chest. “I’ve got you.” Bucky swept her up in his arms and kicked the jeans off his ankle. He carried over to the bed, lying her down and crawling up beside her. He rained gentle kisses across her neck and chest, over her breast and to her belly.
She felt boneless, completely relaxed.
“Mattie,” Bucky whispered, somewhat strangled.
She lifted her head to look down where he ghosted his fingers over her hips. A deep frown marred his beautiful face.
“Doll, why didn’t you say I was hurting you? These bruises are already showing.”
“Oh, Bucky.” She pulled at him until his face was close to hers. “I’m fine. You didn’t hurt me. Not really. Besides, if you would have stopped – I may have had to hurt you.” She smiled brightly.
“But,”
She cut off his words with a kiss. “No. No ‘buts’. That was amazing and intense and I wouldn’t have it any other way. You’re so fucking good. I feel incredible.”
Bucky kissed her back, gently and full of emotion. He’d let himself be lost to the moment, to lose control. He never wished to hurt her. But here she was thanking him for it. “You are one extraordinary woman.” A lopsided grin bloomed on his face. “You’re going to be sore.”
“And every time I feel it, it will make think about you fucking me senseless.” She smiled back.
He threw his head back and laughed. Mattie curled up to him, entwining legs and getting lost in his scent. She knew it wouldn’t last, but for right now she intended to lap up everything Bucky had to offer. Sleep tugged at her, and she fought to stay awake.
Bucky could feel her beginning to drift off and fight it. He kissed her, slow and lazy. “Don’t worry, Doll. I’ll stick around until tomorrow. I’ll be here when you wake up.”
“Good.” She mumbled, falling to sleep almost immediately.
He lay there for a while, fingers tracing slow circles on her back. He would use the journals. He would document what he remembered. He would write down the bits and pieces of his old life. He would list what he knew of his time as the Soldier and remind himself that it was not him. He was no longer in their control. He was Bucky Barnes. First, though, he would write about the woman who reminded him what it felt like to be a man again.
Bucky thanked whatever power was out there that he stumbled across this little place in the woods.

Warnings: Language, Angst, Smut,(18+) rough sex? Unprotected Sex (Wrap those willies) Such a cliche
A/N: Its winter time which means its time to write the cliche fics where they get stuck in a cabin together. Not gunna lie, this took me over 10 hours to write and edit so i hope you like it! Replies are always welcome and just let me know if you want to be tagged in my work!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Steve why the hell do i have to go with her? Cant you come instead, even Nat would be better than her"
"Because buck, you two have the same training, Fury thought it would be a good idea. Plus me and Nat already have a mission of our own, its only for 3 days you'll live"
"She hates the cold she's just going to bitch the whole time that shes cold and were going to be in Alaska in the middle of fucking December"
"hey if you're that mad about it then take it up with Fury"
Sighing Bucky picked up his bags and sulked out the door towards the Quin-jet that was waiting for the two of you.
Trying to pack all of your sweaters, sweats, blankets and stealth gear into your small bags proved to be nearly impossible. Sighing you sat on you bed looking over at Natasha who was raiding you fridge. "You know that you have absolutely nothing to eat right" She said closing the fridge, walking over to rummage through your cabinets. "Well seeing as i'm going to be spending the next three days locked away in a cabin, i didn't think i needed to go grocery shopping"
"Haha finally" she exclaimed finding a box of of Oreos
"You couldn't have just went to your own room? its like two doors down"
"I'm already here whats the point, plus i know your not going to eat these, youre like a health nut now" she said walking over to lay on your bed opening up the cookies in the process
"hey naaat" you say turning to her "Can you pleeease trade places with me, i mean you actually like Barnes and you know i hate the cold"
Laughing she replied "I never said i liked him y/n i just put up with him"
"Yeah but at least he doesnt act completely disgusted when you enter the room"
You quickly became friends with everyone shortly after joining the avengers, coming from the same background as Natasha, Bucky and Wanda you thought you would get along with them the best, all bonding over your hatred for hydra. But you couldn't have been more wrong about Barnes, the first couple weeks he was fine with you, nice actually. He showed you around the Avengers compound, helped set up your bedroom and even showed you some TV that you hadn't seen. One day he just snapped and stopped saying hi when you saw each other, he would always have a snarky comeback to everything you said then he quit coming to movie night. No one really knew why not even Steve, everyone just kept their theories to themselves only one of them unknowingly knew exactly why.
"Its not up to me, you know Fury deals will all the missions and the teams so if you really want to swi-"
"No no its fine, i can deal with him, its only three days" you said cutting her off. You knew that talking to Fury wasn't going to change anything plus you didn't want to seem like some immature crybaby
______________________________________________________________
Walking off the Quinjet you were immediately hit with a gust of bone chilling wind, shivering you pulled your jacket tighter around your body. This was going to be the worst mission ever. Laughing Bucky walked passed you into the snow"Stop being a little baby, its not even that cold"
Looking over at Steve with pleading eyes begging him to take you place
"Those puppy eyes don't work on me sweetheart, you know that"
"it was worth a shot" you sighed feeling defeated, continuing your walk to the cabin.
It was small but cute, as cute as a log cabin in the middle of the woods in Alaska with 2 feet of snow on the ground could be. It had simple wood floors, a small kitchen to the left along with two bedrooms down a hall, to your right was a large stone fireplace, a brown couch and recliner. Natasha helped you bring your bags to your room as Steve did the same with Bucky. You unpacked you clothes while Nat helped with your computer and weapons, "You know maybe this will be good for the both of you, you can finally sort out your problems"
"Nat i don't even know what his problem is, i never did anything to make him hate me"
"Then talk to him y/n there's no better time to do it"
"I can think of a million different times i could talk to him and this isn't one of those times"
You had only been at this place for an hour and you already had a headache, waving goodbye to Steve and Natasha as they got back onto the quinjet off to start their own 3 day mission. Walking back into the warmth of the cabin you thought that maybe Barnes was going to be nice to you for once since this is actually a mission and not a walk in the park. You both set up your equipment on the coffee table, wanting to start asap so you both could get out of here. The mission was simple, hack into a near by hydra bases security cameras and watch for a specific individual, a new enhanced human. Once that person is spotted you both need to go in and take out that problem.
The later it got, the colder it got and by now you were freezing the only heat coming from the fire place you were sitting directly in front of, for someone that controls and makes fire you were always cold
"Why don't you just do us both a favor and jump right on it huh y/n it'll warm you right up" Buck said coming around the corner wearing only sweatpants and a tank top, how the hell was he not freezing his ass off.
"Sure Barnes, right after you go ahead and jump right into that lake out back" giving him a sweet smile
"Hey come look at this" Bucky called sitting in front of his computer. Reluctantly you got up from your spot by the fire and went to look over his shoulder at the computer screen.
"Is that him?"
"I don't know maybe go ahead at look at the file right in front of you" Bucky snapped at you,
Ignoring his comments you picked up the file and looked through it, noticing a tattoo on the mans arm in the picture and telling Buck to look for it on the screen
"Yeah that definitely him, lets go and get this over with" Bucky said standing up from his seat
"What no its freezing cold out there and its pitch black, we haven't even seen this place during the day what makes you think we'll be able to see it in the dark?"
"Did you seem to forget what our fucking job is y/n, if you're going to be a wuss about it ill do it myself" he said pushing past you walking to his room to change
He was right and you knew it, it was your job to get this guy the second you saw him but you were at a disadvantage to begin with. You didn't know your way around the base and to add to that it was pitch black out. Maybe if you convinced Bucky to wait until tomorrow morning you wouldn't be as reluctant to go.
Bucky came walking out of his room now in combat gear, a gun in hand, before he could make it out the door you grabbed his arm stopping him, making him turn around to look at you "Buck just wait until tomorrow don't throw on your tough guy act just cause you want to get out of here, I want to leave too but its not worth going in blind and risking the whole mission" Now you had a good point. "Fine, we leave here first thing in the morning, get this guy then call Tony to come get us" Realizing you still had a grip on his arm you let go, and with that he walked back to his room not be seen again until morning. You walked over and started putting out the fire, if you were going to be up early it was best to get some sleep while you still had time. Laying in bed wrapped up in an assortment of warm blankets you were texting Wanda asking her how her vacation with vision was going until you fell asleep. You woke up in the middle of the night to what sounded like grunts or whispers coming from buckys room, he's probably just having one of his nightmares again you thought, paying no attention to it and drifting back to sleep
______________________________________________________________
Waking up on the floor wrapped up in several blankets was not the best way to start your day but at least you got some sleep. Getting up you took your blanket with you into the living room, expecting to see Bucky with his gear in hand ready to yell at you for being late. Instead you found him yelling into the phone he was holding, frustrated he threw it against the wall causing it to brake into pieces. "Who the fuck shit in your cereal the smorning barnes" you teased, whipping around he looked at you dead in the eyes "You"
"what did i do i just wo-" he cut you off as he walked over to you and grabbed your arm pulling you over to the window and pushed the shades open. It was then that you saw absolutely nothing, nothing but the snow covering the window. A huge snow storm must've hit overnight and now you were trapped in hell with Bucky.
"How the fuck is this my fault" you said shaking out of his grasp
"In every fucking way" he screamed "if we just left to take care of our mission last night, we wouldn't be stuck here"
"That wouldn't have changed anything, It still would've snowed and we still would be stuck"
"At least Fury would know that the job was done, he would had a quinjet fly out for us. Just in case your small brain isn't catching onto what i'm saying ill simplify, We have no cell reception,no internet, nothing but walkies will work"
"Well i'm fucking sorry i didn't want either of us getting hurt"
"Like hell you cared about me getting hurt, you just didn't feel like going out in the cold,I can't believe that, out of all the people I was unfortunate to get stuck in a log cabin with, it had to be you." He spat at you
"It's the universe telling you that you made the asshole list and that you're a bastard who deserves coal. I just don't know why I'm being punished too." It sounded dumber out loud than it did in your head. "Whatever buck, i'm sorry i spoiled you special little day" You walked off back into your room, to give the super soldier some time to cool off. You stayed in there most of the day until you remembered you had brought a couple of movies with you, just something to occupy your mind. You got up and grabbed your laptop and a copy of Donnie Darko, it was a gift from Nat for your birthday, she knew how much you loved that crazy movie. You decided to go out and check in on Bucky and see if he was up for a movie, you had your arguments but you didn't hate the guy, you used to actually find him pretty cute back when you first joined.
"Hey uh do you wanna watch a movie? I forgot i brought some movies with me" He was sitting curled up on the recliner, if you didn't know any better you would've thought he was upset at something other than the mission.
Looking up at you he replied "Depends is it one of those dumb rom coms girls are so into"
"Actually no smart ass, its like a horror, drama fantasy thing its one of my favorites"
"Fine set it up on the table"
You both went and sat down on the couch, you grabbed the blanket from the back of the couch and threw it over yourself.
"Wow way to hog all of the blankets"
"Oh i'm sorry, i thought Mr. Winter Soldier doesn't get cold?' you mocked as you gave him the blanket and went to grab your own from your room. You looked back real quick to check if he was actually watching the movie, you must've stood up to fast and weren't seeing clearly because you swore you saw Barnes laugh. You were totally seeing things the only person to put a smile on that mans face was Rogers, or whenever he mocked you. Grabbing a bag of chips from the kitchen you went and sat back down on the couch.
"So was it a dream the whole damn time or"
"I honestly don't know, I've watched it a million times and i think its like some worm hole space thing"
"You begged me to watch a movie when you dont even understand the ending" He was so upset and confused
"Hey i never begged you, I only asked once. Admit it you liked it" You teased nudging him in the ribs
You both sat there and talked about the movie for what seemed liked hours, not realizing how close you two were now seated. You got on the topic of the TV shows you both used to watch months ago when you were friends. After not talking to him for so long and now the both of you being wrapped up in this movie made you start to realize how much you really missed him. He was one of the first friends you made and it broke your heart when he started to be mean.
"Buck i think im gunna go to bed, i got no sleep last night" you said yawning
"alright, ill see u in the morning"
Grabbing your blanket you started to get up "Arnt you exhausted? i thought i heard you last night having one of those nightmares"
He didn't get nightmares as frequently as he used to but they still happened, but he usually remembers them. They started to get better when you joined the Avengers, but he never told anyone that, and he refused to believe it himself.
"ya i guess i am, i hate those dreams" He didn't have any sort of nightmare last night, but you didn't need to know that, or the details of what he was actually doing.
"If u wanna talk about it im here, i know we didn't go through exactly the same stuff but i wanna help you if i can" You really did want to help Bucky, whatever he was going through, you knew how hard it was dealing with the trauma inflicted by hydra.
"Thanks y/n/n" He said walking behind you going to his room
You both got to your rooms and before you could close your door you heard Bucky whisper a faint "goodnight" under his breath.
Bucky sat in on the edge of his bed trying to wrap his mind around everything that happened today. He was happy to be talking to you again and not have every other sentence out of his mouth be a sarcastic jab at you. He hated to admit his feelings, they scared him to death, he was so used to feeling like some monster with no emotions. But you made him feel alive again, you made him feel human and you helped get rid of his nightmares without even knowing it. He was mad at himself still, he's been hurting you all these months just because he didn't want to admit his feelings.
Laying in bed you tried to get rid of that feeling in the pit of your stomach, the one you always seem to get when your falling for someone. You couldn't be falling for barnes, not again, he didn't even like you right? This was just an act he put on because you were stuck in this cabin together. At least that's what you told yourself. You did like barnes, more than you care to admit but it was just a silly crush it would go away once you got out of this place.
______________________________________________________________
Its now been 4 going on 5 since you've been stuck in this cabin, thankfully the snow finally stopped and it started to melt, at least you could now get your front door open. You both decided that today was the day you were going to find that hydra base and finish your mission, only 2 days behind schedule. Putting on your combat gear you grabbed your walkie, guns and a protein bar before walking out your bedroom door, Bucky already dressed waiting for you in the kitchen.
"He still in the same part of the building?" you asked walking over to check the computer once more
"Yeah same place, same amount of agents" he answered walking towards you peering over your shoulder at the screen telling you once more his tactical plan, His hot breath on your neck making you shiver. You tried to ignore all the thoughts running through your head and pushed them towards the back of your head. You needed to focus on this mission or else one of you was going to get hurt.
______________________________________________________________
"YOU COULD'VE GOTTEN YOUR SELF KILLED, AGAIN Y/N"
"I THINK I'M AWARE OF WHO AND WHAT I CAN HANDLE BUCK, IVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR YEARS" you screamed back annoyed that once again you were being yelled at for doing your job.
While Bucky was in one part of the base looking for the enhanced, you found a secret room with 5 of hydras agents standing inside. You know you could handle them on your own, you've dealt with far worse. Little did you know one of the agents had the same ability as The Winter Soldier, needless to say if it wasn't for buck coming in to save your ass you probably wouldn't be standing here having this argument with him.
Trying to calm yourself down you spoke softer "I didn't know one of them was enhanced, if i did i would've waited for you, but you were preoccupied and i thought i could handle it. I also didn't realize my powers wouldn't have an effect on him"
"This is why i hate working missions with you, you always jump the gun without thinking and i have to swoop in and save your ass" he wasn't yelling anymore but his tone was still harsh, he walked away from you going to his room
"Buck im sorry ok, i haven't been on a mission in a while and i got excited" you spoke not knowing if he could even hear you anymore. Sighing you walked into your room shutting the door and changing out of your clothes. Seeing as you only packed enough clothes for three maybe four days, you had to use the close left by the last person who stayed, by the looks of it, it was Nat. You couldn't understand why Bucky was so mad at you, you completed the mission and now you could both go home. Grabbing some of Nats clothes you decided to take a shower and get all of the sweat and dried blood off of you.
"Steve i don't know what to do, she could've gotten herself killed today"
Stepping out of the bathroom you could here Bucky talking on the phone, you knew you probably shouldn't be listening to him but whats the harm.
"I'm not in love with her shut up, i mean i might be but-" Steve must've cut him off
"You think?" "but how do i tell her i mean, why would she even like me, i'm a monster Steve"
You got so into the conversation and didnt realize you were holding onto the doorknob so when you leaned forward trying to hear better you ended up slamming the door shut causing Bucky to jump and look over at you. "uh Steve ill call you later" he hung up the phone throwing it on his bed.
"uh just wanted to let you know the showers open, there's still hot water"
Grabbing his clothes he pushed by ducking his head and whispered a quick "thanks" before walking into the bathroom.
You stood in the same place for what felt like hours before opening the door to your room. Closing the door behind you, leaning against it trying to comprehend what just happened. Did Bucky really just say he was in love with you, well he said it to Steve. That same feeling in the pit of your stomach came back, you groaned sliding down the door. Did this mean Bucky felt the same way about you that you did about him, or was this some kind of sick joke he was playing on you. If this was some sick prank, you decided you were going to have some fun, and if it wasn't oh well. You still refused to admit your feelings. You went along with your plan because why the hell not. Looking through the dresser you tried to find the something that was sexy but not too obviously sexy. You settled for a over sized red sweater that went down just below your butt, you put on a pair of black knee high socks and black lace panties.
You sat on the couch on your  computer trying to find a movie when Bucky exited the bathroom and went back into his room. Time for your little plan to start, you got up and walked over to Bucks room, leaning against the doorway "wanna come watch a movie, its our last day here and i thought we could end on a good note"
He looked you up and down, damp hair sticking to his face "yeah, if u wanna"
"Yay!"You squealed running over to grab his hand and drag him out to the living room. It felt like electricity ran straight trough his body the second you grabbed his hand he never wanted you to let go, but as soon as you got to the couch that's exactly what you did. After making Bucky sit down and promise to watch you started the movie, "Oh don't tell me this is a movie about different shades of grey" you laughed fully knowing what this movie actually was, pulling your legs up on the couch you put them over his lap. You've never seen someone act so flustered over a simple gesture. Boy was this going to be fun.
You could pinpoint the exact moment when buck figured out what this movie actually was, his whole demeanor changed and you could practically see his heart beating out of his chest. You had kept moving your legs around in his lap which made him hold your legs down on his lap to make you stop, pleading for you to stop. You were definitely getting messing with his poor brain.
Bucky could feel your eyes burning into his skull for what felt like hours, he had figured out by now that you were playing a little game with him, and this movie had given him all sorts of ideas for future reference. He decided to play along with you, without moving his eyes from the screen he moved his hands further up your legs, no longer resting on the fabric of your knee highs. You tried to hide as your breath hitched in your throat as his hands made their way under your sweater and rested on your thighs. Their was no way in hell that he was going to win the game that you started. You moved your legs back closer to you, crossing them, making sure they dragged along his lap and over his now obvious bulge. You weren't seated like that for more than 30 seconds before he grabbed you and pulled you into his lap, grabbing your ass causing a small moan to escape from your lips.
Bucky had the biggest smirk on his face, fully knowing what hes doing to you. Straddling him you sunk your hips down, grinding against him slow, earning a deep growl from his throat. He grabbed onto your hips and guided your core along him, you grabbed onto his hair and tugged on it this time earning a soft moan. For the first time since standing in his door way, you looked each other in the eye, his once blue eyes were now dark and full of need. Within seconds Bucky had pinned you underneath him, snaking your legs around his waist you tangled your hands around his neck and in his hair. One of his hands still digging into your hip, the other one tangled in your hair as he pressed rough kisses along your jaw line, down your neck earning light moans as he sucked on the sensitive skin near your collarbone. Coming back up from your neck he finally placed a rough kiss on your lips, sliding his tough along the bottom of your lip begging for entrance, you smiled into the kiss granting him the access he needed, teeth clashing together as your tongues danced in your mouth . He pulled away from you and ripped his shirt off his body, throwing it to the side. Helping you with your sweater, smirking as he found out all you had on under was a pair of black lace panties. and those knee highs. "You're so perfect" He moaned coming back down to kiss you again.
You wrapped your legs back around his waist as he picked you up and carried you to his room. Bucky laid you down on the bed and looked at you like it was the first time he ever saw a womens body. Starting to feel self conscious you moved your arms to cover your bare chest, before you could he stopped you "Stop it. you're so fucking beautiful y/n". Hovering over you he leaned down until his face was inches from yours kissing you softy, putting a hand on his cheek you looked up at him, seeing those blue eyes of his on you like that made you melt.
He kissed you again this time more roughly moving down towards your neck sucking on the soft skin leaving light bruises. Trailing kisses further down over your breasts and stomach before making it to your core, he moved to the inside of your thighs teasing you, rubbing them gently with his rough hands, his metal one cooling you down instantly. He looked up at you with his hands on your thighs, you gave him a nod wanting nothing more than for him to continue. He took his metal hand and rubbed it over your clothed core, causing a small gasp to escape your mouth from the cold touch. He loved the effect he had on you, the metal arm was an obvious turn on he used to his advantage. He teased you through your panties with his metal fingers earning a different sound from you each time he moved them a different way.
"B-bucky please" you whimpered earning a smirk from him, you arched your back allowing him to remove your now soaked panties "I wonder if your always this wet when i'm around" he grinned at you throwing them across the room. He leaned over you looked you in the eyes again planting another harsh kiss on your lips, before moving back down to get to work. His tongue working like magic, having you come undone at the seams the second he touched you. Sucking on you clit he added a single metal finger causing you to buck your hips  towards him"So fucking eager kitten" his words only making you wetter and more desperate by the second. Without warning he added two more fingers, curling them so they would hit that sweet spot, pumping them at the perfect speed."f-fuck b-bucky" you hadn't been with anyone for a long time and he was completely destroying you.
He grabs your legs and throws them over his shoulders giving him more access to what he want and what you need, your heels digging into his back trying desperately not to close your legs at the sensations. "I'm close, buck p-please" your a whimpering mess under his touch and he knows it ,so close to the edge, seconds away and he stops. Looking up at him with pleading eyes, "Dont worry kitten i'm not done with you yet" You hadn't realized he removed his sweats and boxers, looking at him now holy fuck he was gorgeous, he was definitely blessed in every department. With your legs hooked around his waist, he started teasing you again with his metal hand and sucking on your neck "Buck please, stop teasing"
he chuckled teasing your entrance "tell me what you want doll"
"Bucky just fuck me" growing impatient you try to buck your hips up to him
Holding your hips down with his flesh hand "That's not how you ask nicely, doll"
"James, please fuck me"
He slammed into you unexpectedly causing you to practically scream his name. He never knew that you saying his real name in the manner you did would have such an effect on him but oh it did. Gripping your hips roughly, he slammed into you at fast pace "Fuck, You're so tight" Your hands trailed down his back and grabbed onto his ass pushing him deeper inside of you earning the loudest growl you've heard out of him.
You gained control of him now straddling him, sliding down on his cock at a painfully slow pace. He held your hips, guiding you against him, moving so your clit rubbed up against him, giving you much needed friction.Taking his metal hand he played with one of your nipples pinching in, taking the other in his mouth, swirling his tongue around. The room was filled with your soft whimpers and his rough grunts.
He flipped you back over, spreading your legs even further apart, pushing deeper into you at a more desperate pace. You could feel his thrusts starting to become sloppy, you hooked your legs around his shoulders letting him fuck you even deeper "Fuck, y/n" You dug your nails deep into his back, definitely leaving marks. Near pornographic moans left your mouth as bucky continued his hard thrusts, he put his flesh hand around your neck as his metal one reached down to rub your clit.
"God Bucky i'm close" He tightened his grip around your throat, all that could escape your mouth was whimpers. "Cum for me" his breath hot against your ear, sending you over the edge, closing your eyes your nails and heels dug into Buckys back, feeling it hit you like shock waves you at full force. Bucky nuzzled his head into the crook of your neck, all you could ear were the deep moans escaping his mouth. You felt Bucky pulse and release in side of you, thrusting your hips upwards once more earning a staggered breath in response.
He fell against you not minding the weight, as you both tried to catch your breath. Bucky rolled off of you and went to get to get a wet cloth from the bathroom to clean you both up, you were definitely going to be sore in the morning, he came back and cleaned himself off of you. Throwing the towel in a basket he crawled into bed with you and under the covers, you turned to lay on your side and looked up at him "Was this like a one time thing or" You hated to admit it but you were falling in love with him, if this really was a one stand it would break your heart.
He looked down at you wrapping his arm around you pulling you close, "If you want it to be then it can be, but i was hoping it was more" You could feel his heart jumping out of his chest, you knew he was scared to show his feelings but the way he looked at right then, you truly knew that he did love you. Leaning down he pressed a passionate kiss on your lips, both of you smiling in the middle of it. It didn't take the two of you long to fall asleep, for the first time in a while, you didn't need any extra blankets, all you needed was him. Maybe Nat was right, maybe this mission was a good thing.
You woke up the next morning with a pain between you legs, Bucky was by far the largest guy that you've slept with and it was showing. Groaning you rolled over wanting nothing more than for him to wrap his arms around you and pull you in close, but all you found was messy sheets and a cold bed. Rolling out of bed you threw on his black shirt from last night, the fabric falling like a dress coming down just below your butt. You went looking for a hair tie in the bed side table when you found something far more interesting, it looked like one of Steves sketchbooks but smaller than the ones he normally carried around, Picking it up you flipped through the pages. What you saw made your heart flutter, it wasn't Steves drawing pad it was Buckys and damn was he good. His drawing style is the same as steves, he must've taught him how to draw. But that wasn't what made your heart flutter, the cause of that was almost all of the drawings were of you always at a distace, one of them even brought you back to the day. It was one of you sitting outside by the pool at the compound, even Sam and Steve were drawn in. You flipped to the newest page and found an uncompleted drawing, it didn't click at first but the more you looked at it the more you realized that it was of you asleep in his bed, a little blurb was written in the corner
I never thought this day would come where you would be sleeping naked in bed next to me
I think im in love with you.
You couldn't help a little giggle that escaped your lips, this guy who always acted so tough and rough is actually just some big teddy bear. You set the pad back into the drawer and decided to wander out into the kitchen to see if there was anything left to eat, knowing full well that you left one of your favorite protein bars in a cabinet. You were exhausted and didn't even bother picking your head up as you said good morning to buck, You stood on your tippy toes, causing your shirt to ride up a little too high, Hearing Bucky clear his throat behind you only made you chuckle. Turning around ready to tease the poor man again"What ready for roun-" you froze in place, every word in your mind turned to mush. It wasn't Bucky that cleared his throat, it was actually Tony Stark sitting there with a shit eating grin on his face, standing next to him was none other than Natasha and Steve. Steve giving Bucky one of those looks, and Nat looked at you with the biggest smirk on her face.
"So um Bucky, tell me again about those marks on your neck, What'd you say they were from? " Clearly Tony was about to have way to much fun.
"Well Steve it looks like our evil plan worked" Natasha said nudging him in the side with her elbow
"what?" You and buck said in unison, you still hadn't moved a muscle, buck was now at your side draping a blanket over your shoulders
Natasha continued "You see, me and ole Steve had a small bet going, Sam and Clint were in on it too. I bet that if we sent you away on some remote mission together, forcing you to talk, you two would finally hook up, or at least resolve whatever was going on. It looks like Steve and Clint owe me and Sam some money"
"I had no part of this" Tony piped in hands up in the air defensively, "But goddamn was this a good surprise" he walked towards the door letting himself out, going back to the quinjet.
Laughing you asked "How much money did you all bet?"
" 200 dollars" Steve sighed, putting his hand to his temple in defeat
Bucky started chuckling "Oh my god, you guys are ridiculous"
______________________________________________________________
The whole ride home Nat pestered you with questions, Who started it? Was it good, Was it a one time thing? and a million others, at this point you toned her out and were watching Bucky talk to Steve. That man had smiled more in the past couple days than he had the entire time you knew him, thinking like that just made your heart race, you knew you were the cause of his happiness.
After a few hours you arrived back home at the compound all you wanted was a good night sleep in your own bed maybe not alone this time. You and Buck carried your bags down the hallway, sharing occasional glances and smirks, you could feel it in your heart that this was meant to be.
You sat in the living room talking to Wanda and Vision, as they had just comeback from their vacation the same day as you. You played with the ball of fire in your hands, almost throwing it in the air when you heard Sam scream down the hall "HA YES I KNEW IT, I KNEW YOU TWO WOULD BANG,I KNEW BEFORE ANYONE,I CALLED IT wheres Barton and Rogers they owe me some money" Well it looks like Sam found out that he won the bet.  Before you could explain anything, Wanda and Vision told you that they knew about it too, everyone did but no one else participated in the bet.
Bucky came around the corner and squeezed himself onto the couch cushion beside you, he pulled your legs up to rest over his lap and put his arm around you. Still playing with the fire ball in your hands, you threw it into the fire place in front of you, instantly warming up the room. You sat there watching everyone around you laughing, drinking having fun, no ones fighting, theirs no dumb bickering between you and Bucky now theirs only mocking each other before stealing a kiss.  You realized that maybe this is how its supposed to be, everyone happy and together You with Bucky Barnes. You and the Winter Soldier. The Phoenix and The Winter Soldier, maybe opposites really do attract

A Redditor discovers a way of travelling through time.
He steps into his time machine and sets it to 20 years in the future.
whirr
Chkity
BAaayymM
...
He wakes up naked in the middle of a park. "Oh shit" he mutters, "has it worked?”
A drone flies past him reeling off the latest headlines from the local news.
"I’m here, this is the future!" He thinks as he notices the date displayed on the news drone. "I'd better find myself some clothes."
He dashes into a nearby alleyway, cupping his tackle as he runs and finds a dumpster. He opens a garbage bag inside the dumpster, which contains some very gnarly looking meat, a pair of knickers and hundreds of stinking maggots. “Eww, this reminds me of something i read…”, he thinks, and he throws it to the side. He finds a bag of old clothes lying near the bottom. "Perfect", he says, "I’m only here for a little while, who cares if I smell like trash", and he gets dressed.
"I’d better log onto reddit and find out more about this world", he thinks, so, stinking of crap, the redditor makes his way to the nearest Internet cafe.
"How do I get online?", he asks the waitress.
Repelled by the stink and resisting the urge to cover her nose, she hands him a headset and points to one of the reclining chairs. "Put this on and you're in", she said, "you can pay after with karma credits if you like".
He looks at her blankly...
"New here aren't you?" she says, "Any popular website where you can earn karma can be used as currency."
"Awesome", thinks the redditor, having recently earned gold on a few posts and plenty of karma, "I hope my reddit account is still there..."
He sits back in one of the chairs and puts the headset on.
He closes his eyes and says, "Umm… Reddit". He opens his eyes and he’s no longer sitting in an internet cafe chair, but is surrounded by people in the biggest bar he’s ever stepped foot in.
"Welcome to Reddit”, says a voice behind him. He turns around and recognises the man.
"You're... y.. you're Samuel L Jackson!" says the redditor.
"Correctamundo", replies Samuel, "and you are... a badass mother fucker I see, I like that! I can see you haven't logged on for 20 years Mr BAMF! Well, I guess I'd better show you the changes around here."
“To start with, if you want to upvote something you have to use your own karma. You can either gain this by getting upvotes yourself or buy it at our karma store. Seems you have enough karma already though Mr bamf.”
Samuel leads the redditor to the door and they step through. On the other side is an entire virtual world, incredible, vast and almost realistic enough to pass for real life.
"Now, we can either travel by horse, which, to be honest, is just goddamn slow, or we can fast travel to the different subreddits."
Knowing what little time he had before he was zapped back to his own timeline, the redditor opted for fast travel.
"To r/news", the redditor requested.
zzziiinggg in an instant they were stretched sideways and pinged into a completely different area of the virtual world.
They were surrounded by tall buildings on all sides with headlines billboarded across each one. Before he could open his mouth to speak, they were approached by, Barack Obama. "Welcome to r/news", Obama began, "I am in charge of this subreddit, let me know if I can help."
"What the actual fuck", the redditor turned to Samuel and asked, "what’s Obama doing heading up r/news, and why are you, of all people, Samuel L fucking Jackson, my Reddit guide?"
"Well, Mr bamf, years ago the Internet became a very volatile place. For any major website to survive, they had to have celebrity endorsements. The best way to do that was to employ them. Reddit took it a step further and made sure each subreddit was owned by one celebrity."
"Wow", the redditor replied, "who endorsed Imgur?"
"Beyonce", replied Samuel, "she thought if she had control she could finally remove all those hilarious pictures of herself."
"Did it work?"
"No", said Samuel, "people started hosting their Beyonce images on Tumblr instead"
"Who endorsed Tumblr?"
"Jay-Z"
"I won't ask…” The Redditor said, “And you? Your the guide to this whole place?”
“I needed the money dude”, replied Samuel, “after my 350th movie, I’d finally had enough of acting.”
“Fair enough… Let's explore more of Reddit. I want to see what's happened to all of the subs. Lead the way Samuel, I want to visit r/gifs" says the Redditor.
They select r/gifs from the fast travel menu and....
zzziiingggJust like that... they’re there. Around them are hundreds of low level tables with people chilling back in La-Z-Boys. In the centre of each table, a 3D holographic gif is looping.
Just then another celebrity approaches him… It’s Steve Harvey!
He claps his hands together and says, “Welcome to r/gifs.”
"Ha, this is awesome", the Redditor says, as he watches through the top holographic gifs of all time.
“I’d love to stick around and watch holographic gifs all day, but I’ve got to see as many subs as possible. See ya later Steve!”
The Redditor and Samuel L Jackson spend the rest of the day travelling from sub to sub.
r/showerthoughts was on a huge cloud in the sky, hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson. To submit a shower thought, you literally had to stand in the shower, think about it and it would be posted.
r/movies was a huge movie theatre, hosted by Steven Spielberg. There were over 1000 screens, all playing the current most upvoted movies.
r/gaming, hosted by Mila Kunis, was like entering World of Warcraft, create your avatar and roam around the subreddit as a fantasy character, selecting games to play or discuss.
r/fitness was hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger, If you were lucky you could get some one on one training with the big man himself.
r/creepy was like a true horror movie set, everywhere you went there was a scare waiting for you. When you posted here, it was added virtually to a random place, ready to freak the crap out of someone. Stephen King had the job of looking after this place.
r/RedditsMuseumOfFilth was right next to r/creepy, but they quickly skipped past it when he noticed who was hosting it. The kid with broken arms and his mother must have become celebrity figures after being mentioned in every Reddit post for 20 years solid. And let’s be honest, no one needs to see a cumbox, cum boxers or the cumwall in virtual reality.
They even found time to visit some of the more N.S.F.W. subreddits. As you could imagine, they were incredible. Our Redditor didn’t want to stay there too long, not with Samuel as his wingman anyway.
After a few hours, it wasn’t long until our redditor was due to be pinged home. They head for the bar where they began so he can log off.
“Hmmm, I feel like I’ve missed something…” he says to Samuel.
“WAIT! What about r/jokes, who’s in charge there?”
“Leonardo DiCaprio”, Samuel replies.
“But, he isn't particularly funny...” responds the Redditor
“No, not really Mr bamf...” says Samuel, “but he seemed to be the best fit. Leo was the most dedicated of all celebrities.”
“Dedicated to jokes?” He asks.
“No”, said samuel, “To Recycling”.

Top Twitter Tips For Business
Twitter has been a powerful asset for my business!  It’s one of those things that has really fit me. I’m not really a sociable person in real life but it really fits me well and it’s been a huge asset for my business. I got really into it last November or December. I have a list here of things right off the top of my head that I noticed that people do wrong and that people should be doing and things that I do that makes twitter work.
1. Picture: Your picture (the avatar picture) in almost all cases should be a picture of you. You don’t have to have a portrait quality picture, that’s not really necessary. What’s really important is it’s a picture of you.
2. Username: In almost all cases, your username needs to be your first and last names. You need to have your name viewable. If you want to use your business name, go ahead but then also include your real name so that when they click on your avatar, they will see your real name. I see too many businesses on Twitter, people trying to run an online business and don’t tell their names – that is crazy! You must have your name up there. I just use Steve Weber, that’s my username and a lot of marketers, that’s just what they use. If you have a choice (unless you have a really good reason not to), use your name as your username. You can change usernames any time you like.
3. Tweets: 90 to 95% of the “tweets” need to be about good content. Say something worthwhile! It doesn’t have to be about your niche, your area; it can just be about life in general or current events. Post a topic worth reading and is interesting enough to catch people’s attention. Point people to links on your site or your blog, to cool links that you found on the Internet. Direct people into that kind of content, that’s relative to either your specific niche or to a lot of people who are into Internet and computer because those are the ones in general who are always on Twitter. A lot of people are interested in all kinds, all things on the Internet. About 95% of the time, (that sounds like a lot, but really you need to do that) you are sending them content and not some kind of offer to buy something.
4. Blog: A lot of times, I create blog posts that have really good content in them; but also I have an offer on that page. So it’s not like I’m sending them right to a sales page. I send them to a blog post that has really good information and says, “By the way, here is a link to an offer or here’s a link to a free download.” Most of the time I have a video on that page and they see that I sent them to my page with really good content or to somebody else’s really good content. You just can’t put up every other tweet to be a link to a sales page. You just can’t do that. That just totally defeats your purpose.
5. Be Consistent: If you are not consistent, then don’t bother. Don’t waste your time. If you’re going to get on Twitter once or twice a week, just forget it. You are just wasting the time that you’re on twitter. If you want to make twitter work as a marketing tool, you have to get on it every single day. Sure, on an emergency or something that came up that you cannot get onto your computer, that happens, but if Twitter is going to work as a marketing tool for you, you have to log in and check your account every single day. Not all day! You don’t have to be on there every hour, every day. However, you need to be on there to check the replies and check your direct messages and respond back to people, and communicate with people and put some tweets up and keep yourself relevant, keep your account moving forward and keep your account out there in front of people. You just have to do it. If you can’t do that, it may not be for you. You don’t have to use Twitter as a marketing tool. If you can’t be relatively consistent in using Twitter then don’t waste your time but it is a very powerful tool. If you choose to do that, if it fits you, then go for it. If it doesn’t, then don’t waste your time by once or twice a week getting on there.
6. Always Be Present. Always reply; always check your direct messages (DMs) throughout the day. Every time you get on twitter, you should always check your DMs and always check your replies. I highly suggest you use Tweetdeck; it makes this whole process of keeping up with your DMs and your replies easier. If you just use the web interface for twitter, it’s too much work trying to keep up with all that stuff. But Tweetdeck makes it a whole lot easier because it keeps track of that stuff right on the screen for you.
7. Be Social. If people re-tweet you, if they have a little re-tweet right in front of your tweet, re-tweet it to their followers. Always thank them, or say something nice to them, reply or add them to your follow Friday list — something to acknowledge them. Be social, be nice, recognize and appreciate them. Check your daily feed in twitter, look at some people and try to follow people. Whenever you are on twitter, try to always respond to somebody, you have to be social. You will be amazed at the connections and the contacts you’ll make if you’ll do that.
8. Make “Retweetable” Tweets. Figure out ways to create tweets that will be re-tweeted. Kind of experiment and see what your followers will re-tweet. Remember, once they re-tweet your tweet, then you’re showing it to all their followers. Then, some of those followers will re-tweet, and so it just magnifies in it and it’s snowball’s re-twitter. Different groups will respond differently to different things. So try to work on what your followers will re-tweet, do whatever it takes with your followers. It’s very important to spread your account out there. It will really spread like wildfire if you can get 2 to 3 or 4 or 5 retweets a day because it adds up.
I do motivational tweets once or twice a day, for example, motivational quotes. They always get re-tweeted like hit across twitter. Just things like that and things related to your niche. If you are targeting your followers like I teach you in a Twitter blast, you can tweet about your niche. That will get re-tweeted a lot. If you have done your targeting work correctly, that will work really well.
9. Unfollow people who do not follow you. Now, that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t give this person a week or so, usually, because some people are not that current. It takes some people time to get up to speed on twitter. If you follow on somebody, and they are not following you in a day or two, well don’t just un-follow them then. Give them ample time before you un-follow them because if they are like I was (early on, I signed up last May and I hardly did anything with twitter until November), then you might just un-follow someone who can be worth a good follower.  They might be like me at the start, but would, later on, use twitter a lot, so give people time.
You need to go to your following — the people that you are following and go into the pages. Go backward and find that last page where there are people who are not following you. If there is no direct message option, that means they’re not following you. So then you un-follow them and you work from the back of your list up. You can stop where you think it’s enough, it depends on how many followers you have, but you don’t work all the way into the front of your list. You give those people time to follow you. But keep up with that, don’t make that drudgery, don’t let that get out of hand, where every two or three or four days, go on and un-follow people who aren’t following you over time. But like what I’ve said, do give them time to follow you initially.
10. Tweetdeck. You really need to learn how to use Tweetdeck. If you have been using the web interface, and then you try TweetDeck, you will not like it. Most people don’t like TweetDeck when they first go to it because it’s something new and they are not used to it. They are used to using twitter on the web, and it worked and they’re just not used to it. It takes a time to get used to it. Well, trust me, if you are marketing with twitter, you need TweetDeck because it keeps track of your replies and your DMs right on your screen, and you can delete them in there unlike in the web interface.
11. Tweetlater. Now, there’s way to purge your DMs through tweetlater.com (it’s free!) There is no easy way to purge your DMs within twitter itself. It’s very handy because you don’t have to manually delete your messages (that’s a pain) and you have an option to delete DMs older than 7 days or 30 days. Keep up with those direct messages and use tweet later to purge those old direct messages since twitter doesn’t have a mechanism for doing that.
12. Auto-follow. A lot of third party tools out there, like tweetlater.com have what they call the auto-follow feature. So you could set that up so that when somebody follows you, your account automatically follows back. Now I do have that setup, and the reason I do (there are pros and cons and I will tell you what they are) is because there are so many people following me that for us to go in I have to follow all those people. It just saves a lot of time in the long run to auto-follow those people.
Now, I’ll tell you the downside to that is when you see these porn type scammers out there. These people that you really don’t want to associate with, if they follow you, well you’re account’s going to follow them too. And it looks kind of funky if somebody doesn’t understand the process and they come in and look at your account and they see that you are following these porn-looking people. You just have to take the good and the bad there. For us (we’ve talked about this a lot,) and we think it’s better for us if we auto-follow. So kind of do that as you please, as you think and kind of experiment with that. We omit and delete those people if we see them, but there’s so many of them, it’s hard to do.
13. Tracking Tip. One last little tip that I’ve started using that’s working really well. Tweetdeck has a way that you could follow groups of people but it doesn’t work worth anything. It just isn’t very good. Well, I will just give you an example of myself in the area of Internet marketing. There are about 20 people that I really want to keep track of, that I want to socialize with a lot because I can make connections with these people and get to know them. They have big lists and it just works really well if I could get to know these people. Well, it takes a long time to go up into the browser and go to each one of their sites, so here is how I did this and this is a huge piece of advice. You’re going to love this.
I use Firefox for my browser, for my normal twitter and everything else. I do not use Internet Explorer very much. But on my computer, I have gone to Internet Explorer and set up another twitter account and I’ve gone in and follow all those twenty people that I want to keep track of. On my computer, I always have that minimized, I can go to my Internet Explorer and go to that other account and refresh it and I can see what these other 20 people are talking about recently. I can keep track of all twenty people real easy with that other twitter account.
Now, if somebody there says something that I want to respond to, then I go back to Firefox which I am logged into my regular twitter account, and up in Firefox, I can save (you could use bookmarks or whatever, but I drop them onto the toolbar at the top), I have all twenty of those addresses so I just click that little arrow and all twenty addresses for their twitter home pages drop down. There’s each one of their feed and I just click on the one that I want to talk to that I know just tweeted about something. There’s their feed and I can hit reply and I can talk to them right there. That works really well.
No matter which niche you’re in, no matter which area you are in, you need to seek out those relationships with people who are connected in those same areas as you are and communicate with them and socialize with them. You’ll be amazed at the results from doing that alone. It’s a little complicated and I wish there was an easier way to do it but that works really well once you begin using that other browser with that other twitter account to follow those specific people that you want to keep track of.
