Sushi: If you could rewrite the build-up to any canon ship, which one would you choose?

Split between Splashfrost, Tigerdove and Bristleroot. Not picking just one.......

Splashtail and Frostpaw were stated to be childhood friends, and I feel like they could actually do something really interesting with this aspect of their relationship since protagonist & villain who used to have a (positive) past together is always good. Add to that the fact that Splashtail was also close with Frostpaw's mother, Curlfeather, plotted with her and was also involved with the whole Frostpaw aspect of Curlfeather's plan, and then ended up causing Curlfeather's death. He also tried to murder Frostpaw too later on. Imagine a world when they could have been actually good. Jsut for a moemnt

Tigerdove cause it's my absolute favourite couple in all of Warriors (do not separate them), and I feel like if we could just go back in time and make the Erins write Tigerheart and Dovepaw/wing to be closer in age then the fandom would finally shut the fuck up and I wouldn't have to suffer anymore

Bristleroot cause like. This has gotta be one of the weirdest "mates" in Warriors, which like, honestly most of the new writing team era couples (not you tigerdove) range from bad to weak to confusing to huh to whuh. Also I'm gonna be honest I legitimately forgot Rootspring existed for a while. Oopsie!! But anyway. The fact that Bristlefrost actually ended up returning his feelings was such bullshit and a baffling writing choice considering her like. Idk. Entire Premise. But anyway what bothers me the most about them is how they are supposed to be treated. They are this like, very important tragic couple in which one of them ends up having her spirit erased while saving the Clans together, and a whole new law is created because of them, and that is the build up? That's it? If you want this to go so hard and be such an important part of TBC so badly, then yall should have wrote it to go harder. It's all just so incredibly underwhelming also Shadowsight should have sacrificed himself instead of Bris but I'm getting off track.

Cheeseburger: What is one ship that you thought you’d never support, but now you do?

Stormsquirrel. I've warmed up to Stormfur over the years (and do think that he should have gotten the ASiR plot instead of Feathertail; her whole characterization in TNP directly goes against the one she has in the graphic novel) and he and Squirrel are pretty cute. I used to dislike it just like anybody else did back in the day but then I got a mind of my own. Similiar case with TigerDove, though I'm even less normal for that one.

Scourge/Sasha/Sol simply because of how much of a rarepair it is. Oh and Scourge/Darkstripe is also a big one.

Stormhawk posters have since converted me fully into it, before that I didn't even consider these two interacting with each other lmao.

FallenHolly annoyed me years ago, but now I think it could have been one of the best options for Hollyleaf ships. They would not be healthy at all. Not unsalvageable, but for a large chunk of them knowing each other I think they would enable themselves so hard. Also Fallen Leaves should have been more possessive of her actually. Enough of empathetic therapist Fallen Leaves, have him beg for her to die in the tunnels so that they would both be trapped together forever and he wouldn't be so lonely anymore. I said it
