Heyyy heres an old drawing of feathertail and stonefur .So after her death feathertail went to starclan ,there she met stonefur who sacrificed his life for them (basically tigerstar ordered him to kill featherpaw and stormpaw but he didnt listen and he fought to protect them ) .In staclan these 2 meet and they are just too happy to see each other again .

once again still SO baffled why no cats seem to hold grudges, specifically with ARC 1. I understand why no one would hold grudges against Bluestar, she was sick and was through A LOT. but in regards to featherpaw, stormpaw, mistyfoot and stonefur... how could ANY of them not hold a grudge against RC.

Featherpaw and Stormpaw aren't ushered away when Stonefur stands up to them. they witness his murder, they witness the fact that none of their clanmates stood up or wailed for him- and they witnessed their leader do nothing and approve of her deputy murder. why the hell would featherpaw or stormpaw then decide to go back to riverclan after this. WHY ISNT MISTYFOOT LIVID AT HER BIRTHCLAN. she isn't mad at her mate, her leader, her friends and her family. why is feathertail's sadness internal, she has every right to be angry at the cats she lives with.

I really like these, I do think Cloud Spots would definitely suit Featherwhisker. Or alternatively maybe that cat he saw at the start of Yellowfang’s Secret he was affectionate towards (Mallowfur - I had to look that up lol)

Feathertail for Jayfeather is so, so good. The Erins should have done this imo. The reader would initially assume she’s there because she was on the journey with Squilf and Bramble, when in actual fact she’s there for Crowfeather.

I think Pebble Heart would be very cool for Runningnose. And yeah I would say Raggedstar would suit Flametail as well.

Snipkit being Fidgetflakes guide would be perfect and make me cry lol

ok so this is a hard question because im what you would call a "multishipper" (NOT TO CONFUSE WITH PROSHIPPER). basically i like almost any ship because shipping is fun to me. for example, i like leafpool x feathertail x nightcloud, but i also like leafpool x mothwing. it goes like that.

Violetshine X Tree: I'm still trying to get through the latter half of AVOS, so I haven't seen their first time meeting up or them falling in love or anything like that. What makes me rather uncomfortable with this couple is that Tree's old enough to be Violetshine's father. Pebbleshine and Hawkwing were already young lovers, but with the release of Tree's Roots, one can calculate Tree to be born around the same time as Hawkwing. He even meets a heavily pregnant Pebbleshine when he's around fifteen months old. Honestly, if his and Violetshine's dynamic in late AVOS is good enough for a Warriors couple, I'm willing to just headcanon him as at most eight months older than her to make it more palatable. By the way, this has nothing to do with the ages when they meet up. Violet's a year old by Darkest Night and nearly an adult if her sister's warrior assessment is anything to go by.

Clear Sky X Storm: It's been some years since I read DotC, but the love drama in The Sun Trail was pretty stupid. Especially the insta-love thing. Maybe it was an insta-attraction? But this is Warriors and we can't have that, noooooooooo...

Clear Sky X Star Flower: Everyone's gone on with how Clear Sky getting with his son's ex is rather dubious, but what is often neglected is the fact that Star Flower can make choices too! She made the choice to go for her ex's dad which is about as questionable as Clear Sky's choice! My personal headcanon is that she's the kitty equivalent of a gold-digger.

Pebbleshine X Hawkwing: Alright, so you're either of these two nitwits who've recently become a warrior. Your very way of life has been drastically upturned by someone you thought you could trust. You've lost family and friends to your betrayal, and what's worse is you've lost your home. The world you've known for your whole life has been ripped form you and you have to keep ambling forward with the hope that the place you'll finally settle in will be worth all this hardship. The path ahead of you is long, uncertain, and dangerous, and you'll need to have a clear head to have a hope of surviving this season. SOUNDS LIKE THE PERFECT TIME TO BOINK AND START A FAMILY, AM I RIGHT?

Bumblestripe X Dovewing: Pushy, inconsiderate, trademark Nice Guy, from questioning why they haven't had children yet at some random meeting to suggesting they have children at her friend's funeral, everyone's said it already. Bumblestripe is not a good cat for Dovewing. I'm glad she's not with him since that makes her happy. But... Tigerfartstar X Dovewing: Yeah, Dovewing, your taste in toms is awful. This temperamental, arrogant, patronizing shipdit, while not as bad as Bimbostripe over there, is still pretty bad. It's been a long while since I read OotS and I haven't yet read Tigerheart's Shadow, but I probably should to get a refresher on why I hate this couple.

Bristlefrost x Rootspring: So ignoring that Rootspring as a -paw is a whiny, overly defensive putz that acts self-conscious about having Tree as his father, Bristlefrost does not ONCE show interest in him. Not once. Count ‘em, zero times. In fact, she’s aware of his crush on her and is embarrassed whenever he comes around and whenever people notice him staring at her. She actively avoids him and speaks curtly, even rudely, to try and drive him off. Then, out of buttfuck nowhere, she says she has feelings for him once he’s a warrior? When they’ve barely interacted beyond her spurring his affections? Fuck with that?

Crowpaw x Feathertail: Feathertail, you’re a nice girl. You’re team mom and almost a second in command to Brambleclaw. Everyone likes you. So why in the good god damn fuck does a pissant like Crowpaw (an apprentice at the time, by the way) deserve your recognition, let alone your love? You could get literally any other cat you wanted to, and you go for the fruit that was formerly hanging the lowest, but dropped off the tree and is now rotting on the floor. He is nothing but a dick to you and only starts being remotely kind two seconds before you die. Please love yourself and do better in StarClan.

Bluefur x Oakheart: Speaking of low hanging fruit, this is a very, very easy one to dunk on. It’s moreso the fact that this entire “relationship” is treated as one of the great tragic romances in this series than anything else. The two of them talk, what, two or three times? And then have exactly one night together before Bluefur kills one of their kits and shoves the other two on him and then that’s it. That’s all they had. A one night stand and child death. What a love story. Why does Bluefur think Thrushpelt is the worse option, again?

Dustpelt x Fernpaw: GOD, this relationship is creepy. I still get simultaneously unnerved and mad whenever I read the first arc, because Dustpelt initially seems like he’ll go with Sandstorm before she stupidly falls in love with Fireheart, but then he sets his sights on someone so much younger than him that he actually asks if he can mentor her instead of his original apprentice (her brother, fun fact). Let me emphasize that, because he is actively seeking a power imbalance in this relationship, and he clearly intends to eventually get with her. Bear in mind that she is still being treated like she’s a young kid, if not a teenager, by the narrative. I could be here all day on this fucking topic, but let’s move on.

Berrynose x Poppyfrost: We all know what I’m going to say here. Berrynose having the brass to say loving things to a dying, agonizing Honeyfern after she spent all this time pining after him, and then less than two months later, he shacks up with her sister. That is the coldest thing he could possibly have done to her. The fact that the writers decided that she’s totally okay with the relationship and takes care of her sister’s dead kits like they’re hers is extra terrible. Like, she still gets the scraps when she’s dead? Seriously?

Hey, I know it's been a year since ILYL was updated and I'm not sure if you want to continue the story at this point, but I just wanted to tell you I hope you're doing well and that I still read your stories. also I wanted to say I really love your human warriors story and I wondered if you have any head canons for them!

The question of whether I want to continue ILYL is no question. I want nothing more than to continue that story.

At this point, I have rewritten the next chapter about 6 or 7 times and each time when I go to edit it I just end up dissatisfied with it. Then there was moving, studying, travelling to study in America and dealing with the mental ramifications of that. I'm truly upset that I have made people wait for another chapter for this long, and I hope that one day I can finally pull myself together and get it done, but at this point I honestly don't know. I hope it will happen, but I'm not going to let people down with false promises any more.

Just know I was always thankful for your support and giving my stories just the smallest bit of attention.

Sure. It's not a HC that really matches my human WC story, but it works with the human WC road trip thing I once toyed with.

Squirrelpaw is a terribly light sleeper - any noise will almost certainly get her awake and unable to sleep for the rest of the night. Leaving her a grumpy, grouchy kid for the rest of the next day.

Which is why she's horrified to discover, after agreeing to share the motel twin room with Brambleclaw the first night of the journey - he wanted to keep a close eye on her (just out of genuine worry) - that the boy snores like a mammoth.

Refusing to go through that again, Squirrelpaw has to find someone else to share with.

Stormfur refuses to let Feathertail out of his sight so both of them are out of the question, and Tawnypelt is someone who actually spends much of the night planning out the next steps of their trip throughout the night, sleeping through most of the next day - she keeps quiet but the added light she needs is enough to disturb Squirrelpaw.

So, with a growing horror, Squirrelpaw realises that only leaves Crowpaw. And while sharing a room with that moody, emo brat is nothing but cringeworthy to her, she misses sleep too much. So she grudgingly agrees while Crowpaw doesn't really object, to Squirrelpaw's confusion.

On the first night they share a room, Squirrelpaw prepares for a night of burning tension and Crowpaw being a snarky dick who claims she turns too much and coughs too loudly.

But within ten minutes, Crowpaw is fast asleep. And he stays like that, silent and unmoving, undisturbed until Squirrelpaw falls asleep an hour later.

She certainly expects him to have some complaints the next morning, being the irritable moron he is after all, but all he does is nod at her briefly, quietly says good morning, and waits scrolling through his phone until she's ready before they walk out to their acquaintances - all expecting the two to be at each other's throats.

Squirrelpaw expects something to go wrong when they share again the next night.

And then the next night.

And then the next night.

By the next day, everyone, glad to be rid of a the tired moaning of Squirrelpaw, agrees that her and Crowpaw will share whenever they stop at a motel.

Squirrelpaw is happy to hear that.

I'm gonna say no b/c we'd be here forever, as a Squirrelflight kinnie I like giving her my gender which I guess I can shorten to genderfluid transmasc, but I love transfem Squirrel as well so [shrug] just trans Squirrel in general, I do think she's bi personally. I think both Mothwing and Hawkfrost are trans, Moth is a lesbian and Hawk is bi. I think Redtail is trans and run with RunningRed as being Sandstorms parents (Sandstorm nonbinary? yes....) uhm I like to think that Feathertail is trans too, maybe nonbinary transfem or bigender or something, in all honesty for characters I like I tend to run with whatever, again this series doesn't give you enough to examine in these areas for many headcanons regarding gender and sexuality so my opinion is to have fun most of the time as long as you're not trying to perpetuate any harmful stereotype

EDIT: I FORGOT HE/HIM LESBIAN FALLEN LEAVES... god, I will say I don't have any strong opinions on how or if he's trans, just that he's feminine identifying, is a lesbian, and uses he/him pronouns, his girlfriend Hollyleaf is nonbinary and also a lesbian and HER girlfriend Cinderheart is bisexual

asir is one of those very rare wc themed examples where i look at it and i think “wow this wouldve been way more fitting and coherent if it was about [x male character]”. in this case, it is SO baffling to me that this premise wasn’t given to stormfur to explore his mistreatment in riverclan more and make a stronger connection for why he leaves for the tribe. the only reasons i can imagine it wasnt are that a) feathertail was neglected very hard and they probably realized itd look shitty if they gave stormfur a new book but not feathertail and b) because they at least realized that stormfur getting bullied into forgiving leopardstar and “learning to be a proper warrior” would be a very dissatisfying and weird decision knowing that he not only leaves them for the tribe, but leopardstar kicks him out again later.

honestly there was no winning with either twin as long as the ending is “stop thinking about it, become a conservative, and forgive the woman who tortured and imprisoned you and sentenced you to death” now that i think about it

wait so how exactly is warrior cats racist against indigenous americans

lots of things, and frankly i think you should read native american opinions on the matter before you come to me, but off the top of my head

- in general a lot of warrior cats‘s “”mysticism”” is based on native stereotype, which perpetuates the harmful connotation of native americans being “mystic” and “mysterious” etc

- the tribe is based on a whole BUNCH of negative stereotypes against native americans. the whole “names kits after first thing they see” derives from a well known racist joke at the expense of native americans, which is quoted nearly verbatim in one of the field guides (“i guess they name a bunch of kits ‘roof of cave’ or ‘wall of cave’”). the ”daughter of the chief” trope and the “white savior” trope (relating to stormfur and feathertail here) are also in full play. in addition, the entire thing about the tribe is that they’re seen as weak peacemakers that the clans have to “correct” into fighting, which.... Bad! No! Don‘t!

- the “medicine cat”’s name is derived from the “medicine man” of native american tribes. given the medicine cats’ role as a spiritual leader and guide, the connection here is... quite loaded and it’s insulting to borrow native concepts for a bunch of silley cat books. (personally i like the term “medic” instead but ive also seen “seer” used. i called them star-seekers as a kid in my fanclan when i was like 10, which i honestly thought was catchy at the time)

- the naming system itself is very similar to the naming systems and changes in many native tribes, and is also an oversimplification of it. again... loaded connection and it’s insulting to continually borrow and bastardize native american culture to make 1 dumb cat book series out of.

- in general: don’t bastardize concepts from real, oppressed minority cultures to make into Silley Dumb Animal Books. regardless of what xenofiction book it is- while these issues are pronounced in wc, they appear in many other xenofiction books too, even the ones tumblr parades around as “unproblematic”. because like... man you’re really gonna compare people of color to animals?

does this mean you should drop warrior cats? no- if anything, dropping a series like it’s hot acid as soon as you realize it’s racist doesn’t really solve the problem because it doesn’t constitute a meaningful deconstruction and analysis of these tropes as they appear in both warrior cats and other media. because dropping warrior cats and then doing nothing else to point out racism... doesn’t do anything to further prevent racism in media, and to educate yourself on finding it. i see it as more of a like... ok so you know how if you get a dvd of old looney tunes and watch them, you get this disclaimer?

i feel like that irt warrior cats. you can like the books- but you must be very prepared to analyze and deconstruct the racism in it, as you should be prepared to do with all media. (because honestly? all media has something wicked in it somewhere...)
