Streamer+Viewer: an All-Ages nichelink relationship/relationship dynamic where one person is the "streamer" and the other/s are the "viewer."

this may include, but is not limited to:

the streamer genuinely wanting to become a popular streamer and the viewer/s wanting to be their first dedicated fan/s

the viewer/s supporting the streamer by commenting on all their videos

the streamer being dissoyoutuber, dissotwitchstreamer, dissokangel, dissoame, or another similar dissodic term and using this relationship to cope or relieve dysphoria

the viewer having obsessive/fixation/parasocial tendencies and the streamer wanting to help them find an outlet that is risk-aware and safer due to only being between them

colors were inspired by the dissoyoutuber and dissotwitchstreamer flags.

there's this trend where bad will (usually as a fake-out) threaten a trsmp member and the chat all spams "leave" but the streamer doesn't leave bc maybe they enjoy roleplaying with bad and they're more interested to see what he'll do. and it just kinda gets me every time. sorry. your streamer didn't leave. sit through more badboyhalo conversation :)

(re: skizz situation) seeing a lot of people saying basically that this is a typical older cis dude approach to trans rights and it doesn't mean he's irredeemably evil or whatever. which is true! and i am also seeing a lot of 'this doesnt mean you have to stop watching him!!!' and that is also true. you dont have to do anything.

but like.... i am transgender. a 'normal' amount of tepidness or courting of transphobes in a community is enough to make me leave a community, especially when it's a youtube channel and not like. a workplace or community circle or class, where i might have no other options if i don't tolerate that sort of thing. the fact that it is so normalized and i do have to suck it up and deal with it so often means that i have less patience for it with something like youtube, where i have infinite other options for creators who respect my experience as a viewer more then 'you don't have to leave but also I will not stick up for you or defend you in any way'.

i will continue watching hermitcraft, just probably not stuff with skizz. and other people can keep watching him, i don't care. but personally i have enough other things to watch. youtube is a big place

Guys, be proud of yall selves. Both live streams today alone leveled out to about 100k people watching. Before the copyright strike, it was closer to 110k, including those in Luke's stream (assuming that they had Jay's stream up as well). The second stream was closer to 95k. This is a big jump just from the lightning saga, which had 75k watching. About 30k more people watched this live stream, alone. Like holy shit.

i held this opinion in dsmp as well, but i think you can disagree with characters, but in their chat, you should be 100% supportive or just stay quiet...it just drags the energy down on the streamer if you’re disagreeing with everything theyre doing in rp
