Day 14: "I can't take this." "Please" [Reader x Broly] {Dragon Ball Z/ Super}

You stood in the yard of Capsule Corp, wondering what was even going on with all the guys. Were they about to start their fighting tournament? You sure hoped not... that kind of thing in the middle of the city like this would be devastating. Unless they chose to go out in the middle of the desert...

But then who would be around to watch and judge the matches?

Maybe that didn't matter, maybe they'd settle for something like arm wrestling or a foot race or some other simple game that wouldn't risk putting more craters in the Earth.

But no, they just had to hold bare-knuckle brawls... at least this time it was an extremely measured version. No ki attacks and had to stay on the ground as much as possible.

Of course, Vegeta didn't like that idea as Bulma had to smack him for being a child... but at least most everyone could agree to these rules.

Including your boyfriend, which was a little surprising given how he was still working on controlling his temper, especially in combat. But before he started his match, Broly turned to you.

"Is something wrong?" You looked up at the behemoth of a man, "Broly?"

"It's nothing [Name]." The way he smiled would send most running, but he was trying to be sweet as he leaned down, "Just want you to hold onto this for me."

It was almost a little too late to realize he was tying his hip scarf around your waist, "But wait! I can't take this!"

"Please?" He attempted to distract you with a kiss to the cheek, "For good luck."

Unable to give him an answer, because he went to the little roped-off area before you could, you stood there trying to make sense of how you holding onto his hip scarf would give him good luck. Broly wasn't the kind to need good luck, when he powered up he was more muscle than man!

That... didn't stop you from cheering him on. It just didn't make sense why he thought giving you his hip scarf would do anything...

These would work for either version of Broly btw <3

It takes him a little to pick up on signs of an anxiety attack, but he will try to learn tell-tale signs.

Tentatively reaching out "[Name]? Are you okay?"

Hiding behind his back, face buried in his hair while he holds your hands around his waist.

Offering the weird skirt piece (the ear thing/ hip scarf he wears) as a shawl when you have to do something in front of others without him right there

Tight hugs, just squished against his chest hearing nothing but his heartbeat and breathing

He really understands the low self-esteem on a spiritual level, sadly he doesn't understand how to overcome it...

But he does try his absolute best to build you up (always delving into you two complimenting each other until you both forget why you felt bad, to begin with)

Loves keeping you close, both being each other's security blanket for most everything

Slowly sliding his hand down your arm until he cups your hand to remind you he's right there (and that he's tall)

Is quick to scoop you up and fly off from situations that make you anxious

^ just carrying you around while flying in general to get you to smile

He just appears over your shoulder when someone says anything negative about you and the other person shutting up

Not at all afraid of smacking someone into the ground if they go too far in making you feel bad

Sitting in his lap while he pets your hair, telling you everything he likes about you

Even though he isn't all that well spoken, so its mostly how nice and pretty you are, telling you about small moments that you barely remember or think about meaning that much...

Falling asleep on his chest with his arms around your back because he just wouldn't let go until you felt better

Him kneeling in front of you to look you in the face

The softest little kisses because he isn't even sure if he should be doing this, but you are crying and upset so he has to try something

An attempt to sing was made, his voice is kinda deep so it helps just because of that...

Lifting you up over his head so he can say he looks up to you

If you need space, he will back off... not very far, but he will leave the room

^peeking into the room every so often because he is worried

Waking up to him just slightly laying over top of you because he can get very protective and you once mentioned that it helps to have a little extra weight at night...
