Looks like Creation ditched the blue background for a red one. Not sure I like the red background at all. I would say maybe it’s just for Vegas but they had a red background for Nashville too. Hopefully they have the blue background back for New Orleans when my friends go to that con. But Jensen is looking so good!! His little smile is so cute!! The lovely ladies are looking gorgeous too. Can’t wait to see more pics! Waiting for the J2 & baby op pics too!!

I honestly don’t care if Jensen and Misha have never actually seen each other naked (I don’t believe that to be true, but if I were to be proven wrong somehow, I’d accept it)… what keeps me in the cockles dumpster is their complete devotion to each other. They love each other deeply, and respect each other, support each other, develop each other in sooo many ways that so few ever get to experience, and I just think that love is beautiful 💙💚

Sometimes I wonder if we (as a fandom) have over-analysed scenes to the point that we’ve forgotten what we were actually watching.

Most of our favourite parts of Supernatural, the mothership as it were, are our favourite bits because they’ve been analysed and broken apart and put back together so many times that we can create this bigger picture that is further moulded by our own headcanons and fic plots and playlists. And that’s what makes Supernatural great.

I’ve seen a lot of #thoughts on The Winchesters now that the pilot is out, and I know that not everyone thinks it was a winner - the jokes were cheesy, the CGI looked terrible, it didn’t feel right, whatever else - but I’d argue that’s because it’s being compared to the Supernatural in our heads, not the Supernatural that aired on television.

I’ve said it before and I still believe it with my whole heart… Supernatural should just be a mediocre watch and forget network television show, but it’s not because of the passion of the people it sweeps up under it’s spell and the little bit of extra magic each and every person who gives it a little love sprinkles on top. This new passion project just needs the same magic.

Richard Speight Jr. met: Salute to Supernatural Vancouver, Vancouver, BC on: August 12, 2012 (part 1) ...And here’s Part 2. What was meant to be my last Supernatural convention, for a number of reasons. Richard was as amazing as always...and then he signed an autograph to me with this. The audacity, I thought. How dare he! I’d show him, obviously. Except, three years later, I found myself accidentally in Las Vegas, to meet Jeffrey Dean Morgan and visit a friend. And of course, I had to do a photo op, because it was tradition. Richard took one look at me, and I didn't even get a hello. I got a smug smirk and a self-satisfied tone when he said, "Yeah, I thought you were never coming to one of these things again." It gets worse. Because three years after that, I was hosting a friend going to a con in Pittsburgh. And I knew I shouldn’t go, I knew, but it was in MY CITY. And there he was again. “It's been a million years!” he says. “How have you been???", and he gave me a BEAR HUG after the traditional photo op and just. SLAY ME. Reader...I left this fandom behind a long time ago...but I still love him. The smug bastard.

I’m still mostly speechless after this weekend. I got to spent my birthday with my best friend, surround by cast and fan (found) family. I filled my weekend with joy, laughter, innuendos, and only a little bit of stress 😂 (most of it was Misha’s fault, the fucker).

I’m incredibly grateful to have been able to go to Las Vegas this weekend and experience my third Supernatural convention. Life wouldn’t be the same without these guys 💜

The boys are looking good today!! Both happy smiles and looking so comfortable!! I hope gold panel was a good time. Main panel is happening shortly. Of course I will post more pics as I find them!! I can’t wait for the cons my friends are going to this year. I have 3 or 2 going to New Orleans and 1 possibly going to Hawaii. I’m hoping to go to DC but doesn’t look like I will get to. But I’m extremely excited for my friends to go!
