sso ! ok. uh. I dont rlly think I have an outright evil character, but I feel like the closest I can get to that is Asphodel (2hats below & eye/staring warning)?

Asphodel(she/it) is my looped Renzo. She’s a guide, helping the looper out through their situation. That’s the extent of its purpose.

It’d be an antagonist/obstacle/whatever in the same way Loop is in canon: right at the end.

Asphodel doesn’t have a home anymore. All that’s left is it, the fragments of its party scattered throughout her (in its voice, most notably). As she helps the looper overcome and break free of the loops, she realizes just what she’s lost. What they have, she no longer does. What it can never, ever have again, they now do. Even if the party is entirely different from its original (cough cough partyswap) she can’t help but feel betrayed.

To put it lightly, there’s. a bit of jealousy with it! And betrayal!

Ngl im so angry most of the time but whenever someone shows us support i cant believe it either, i hope you know how much we appreciate this, and i can't speak for all Venezuelans but i like to think a lot of us really won't forget it and show the same support to you.

My mental health gets especially bad whenever something like this has happened in my country especially this time around :/ so sometimes hearing just a couple words of support is.not to be dramatic but. genuinely life saving and ik it's much much worse for people there right now bc i'm not even in the country!!! so yes, i hope everyone remembers our words and actions have an impact it does matter to reblog or like a post or talk to someone/ask questions about whatever they're going through, and i love hearing about where everyone is from and other countries going through similar situations😞even though it pains me ANYONE has to go through it, it helps me realise no one is alone and we all have to fight together, as well as it gets me interested in their countries' freedom too bc sadly sometimes we don't even know some of these things are happening as i'm sure some people didn't know about ours.

Do any of you remember a Youtube video about Re:Kinder talking about how the game is seen and percieved by some people (mostly touching upon and arguing against how it has been treated insensitively as some sort of weird legend like "ooo disturbing game with a hidden truth behind it" due to it's creator being dead), as well as talking about the charm of the game (even mentioning it's art at some point) and sadness of the themes without spoiling anything at the same time?? I remember the video avoided saying any spoilers at all and only touched on the literal plot as the kids being stuck in a dire situation in the town with all the adults dead without really getting into the why (it didn't even say one of the kids themselves was the cause— as thus, spoiler free), other than that it just touched on the emotional side of it and vaguely mentioned some scenes.

i also remember at some point the later half (at the very least if not in all of it) of the video, music by Siinamota was playing in the background. Does anyone remember seeing a video like this?

I can't seem to find it anywhere and don't even remember the exact year I watched it.😭 It was the way I found out about this game a while ago, which eventually ended up in me playing it, and I really wish I could watch it again. I thought it was a deleted video by someone called hazel as it was mentioned by a lot of people, but I found that one and it isnt it.😓 I'm wondering if anyone remembers watching something along the lines of what im describing and knows if it's still up.

Hiiiiiii!! I inspired myself with the stabbing bit from the last ficlet: imagine Santino getting investigated and/or punished by the High Table. Poor baby would be so stressed! Do you think that has ever happened to him? What might he get reprimanded for and how would he react? Do you think John's there to defend him, or maybe it's after he performs the impossible task for John and he has to deal with the consequences all alone... 😔

He probably broke a very dumb rule, or "unwritten rule" or he himself got a bit too greedy for something, and they just decided to punish him for that. Or he just crossed paths with a wrong person who holds grudges against him. In the High Table world, I think if you just look at one of them wrong, they call a hit on you.

And knowing how Santino can be bitchy, even if maybe doesn't necessarily mean it in a bad way, someone will take that the wrong way. You really have to get to know Santino before making a judgment 😭

Also, one of his bodyguards could've simply just killed someone who tried to attack him, and it turns out it was someone "important" so now he faces the consequences. And it was self defense :(

Another idea, he got scammed. I mean scammed in a way of him making some kind of a deal with a WRONG person, someone who later on tricks him, uses him to get something and manipulates the whole situation. Probably when he didn't have much experience in his role, when he was just staring to get into all this (so he was very young and naive). Although, it can still happen. Hight Table members and whoever is around it can be good liars.

But it could also be his own fault... because sometimes he thinks too much with his own feelings and ignores the possible consequences. If he's extremely pissed off, he feels anger, and that's the only thing he feels and wants to express. So he isn't really thinking the way he should which results with him making bad decisions that to HIM seems right, but to someone else (for example to John who is with him during his rage), it's not a good decision. So, really, during that, he needs to have someone (John) with him during that.

But in every scenario... HE IS PISSED OFF, but also feels lots of self-hatred and... hatred towards everyone else, except John. But yeah, he does snap at him, but he feels bad when he comes back to his senses :<

Especially... if they hurt him as a punishment for breaking the rules. He is angry, he is sad, he is just so overwhelmed with everything and it can be too much. He wants to punish himself even more. But that ends up with him breaking down into crying. They just hit his weak spots with that 😞

John NEEDS to be there for him, he needs to protect him because because how DARE THEY HURT HIM?? Absolutely not, John is not having that. You can't just punish Santino and expect to go without facing John's consequences. And this time Santino is the one saying "But they'll kill you if you do that. I know you want to protect me but you'll break even worse rules. I want you to be with me, that's all, just be here with me." Please just keep each other safe you sillies 😞🙏

Oooh but that idea after the impossible task!! Let me write abt that too ehehe!

After he helps him and has to deal with it ALL ALONE 😭💔 and he is facing those consequences because of helping John. Because he actually cares for him, he doesn't want to interrupt John's "free" life. But he still ends up hurts, he still has to deal with it all alone and just think about how John would comfort him and probably protect him.

AGHH, just thinking about Santino having to go through it ALL ALONE and imagining that John is there with him 😭💔

Basically... Santino can't catch a break, everyone just uses him and make him break rules or whatever so he is the one that ends up hurt 😞 but John is there for him, he has to be 🖤💙
