HI!!! oh my gosh i can't even explain how completely excited and awestruck i was to see this i screamed and i mean that literally!!! you have no clue how much i love love LOVE sunshine!!! it's my favorite! i've read it two and a half times with some extra bouncing around to scenes i especially love and there are SO MANY SCENES that i love!!! oh my gosh!!! okay more gushing under the cut because this is a long post!!!

it means so so so much to me that you liked my stuff enough to wander onto my tumblr because YOUR writing was what made me write golden and eventually snowball into this blog and my other fics! i hadn't written a stanfic before and after finishing sunshine twice over i was literally starving for more and i was really inspired by you to write my own stuff!

i've left a couple comments on ao3 but i'll say here: the way you write stan is so so so phenomenal. i personally feel like i have yet to nail his personality exactly as you did! he's so sweet and flirty and funny and so true to canon i totally fell in love. his chemistry with kai is AMAZING and had me kicking my feet reveling in every interaction, especially dialogue-wise and again i'm still striving to write that amount of tension!!! kai herself is so charming and i'm obsessed with her and how close she is with every other character and her past and!!! ahh!! your character work is so so incredible and addictive! your writing voice itself is perfect and hilarious and grabs me by the neck every time, i'm always so absorbed in the story whenever i pick it up! and the scenes you come up with are amazing! (POSSESSED STAN HELLO? that whole scene gets me screaming!!) sunshine feels so cohesive and episodic, like i'm really watching an adult retelling/spin-off of the show that focuses VERY much on stan. it's everything i ever wanted in a fic!! it's so cool! i'm your biggest fan!!!

i'll cut myself off otherwise i'll keep gushing and reach whatever character limit this site has but i'll definitely drown you in more of my thoughts when i pick up my next reread!!! Actually I planned to make more HotD/history parallel sets, I have an Alicent draft as part of that series but it isn’t finished, hopefully it’ll be in a few days. I guess I needed a little push to continue my series, sometimes I have a lot of ideas and start a lot of sets and never finish them, but your message just inspired me so much to continue that gifset series that I’ll not only be finishing my Alicent draft, but also I’ll be making the set you requested and perhaps a few more that come to mind. OH THESE ARE GREAT!!!! Thank you again for putting together such a cool ask game, I've missed seeing them on my dash over the years.

♟️: Do you have any headcanons for Armand?

Oh boy oh boy, do I EVER! Armand is a character with so many incredible layers, and I haven't even had time to dissect all the most basic ones, but I definitely have strong feelings about him.

My favorite headcanon I have about him currently is that after Louis left he did not turn Daniel in a moment of passion or because he was asked. Instead, something happened where the choice was suddenly to watch Daniel die or turn him, and Armand couldn't bear to be truly alone in the wake of losing Louis. (In fact, I am over halfway through writing a fanfic about this genuinely as I am typing this message)

He is tired of being abandoned. He is afraid of what it means now, after so long and so many failures to make people stay. In a moment of total panic he decides tying Daniel to him forever is better than losing him, even if their relationship at the time is an entirely antagonistic one. Armand doesn't mind it. He'd rather be picked apart to his basest than left alone with his own memories, and people can and have done far worse than that. Only after the deed is done does he realize he even made the choice to turn him.

heeyyyyyyy! 💖 I've been crocheting for a while now, and I don't want to be presumptuous or anything, but I just thought I'd let you know that when I'm crocheting for several hours at a time, doing hand stretches every hour/2 hours helps to stop my hands from cramping! If you search like, 'artist hand exercises' or 'knitting hand stretches' then you'll find the type I mean :3

"What do they do for date night?"

It... Is honestly rather mundane. At the end of the day, Rhea in particular is always so tired. Byleth is a pretty tuckered out too, but their work never stops. A perfect date night for them is having the ability to unwind after a long day alone; them not being in their room being the main difference from their usual evening activities.

They do not travel from the monastery, because their entire lives are there, so apart from perhaps perusing the market place (until people stare at them so much Rhea finds it unbearable) they are likely to find a nice secluded spot at Garreg Mach to eat a moonlit picnic at and star watch. They share lingering, gentle touches with one another, talk about their days (you'd be surprised how little they're able to do that at times when their work can be so hectic and even when they retire to their rooms there are just heaps and heaps of paperwork to go through) or share deep memories and feelings with one another.

Rhea, being needy as she is, and Byleth being surprisingly equally as touchy, winds up dragging her loving wife back to their room with a deceptively gentle grasp of her hand or wrist and their date night ends cuddled against one another with damp, disheveled sheets and an absolute mess of green hair.

"What do they do for their anniversary?"

Perhaps the only times they will take trips for leisure are the occasional anniversary. Poor Seteth, who is left in charge while they are gone. Dressing up, dancing where hardly anyone recognizes them; I did write in a fic that they traveled to Brigid during Rhea's birthday, and that is not a trip unlike one they would take for a twenty or fifty year anniversary. But aside from that, trips down to the coast, or perhaps up north on a "diplomatic" trip to Sreng (aka here is an excuse two birds one stone). Rhea is SUCH a workaholic, do NOT expect her to put work down for leisure for TOO long... Byleth does not really feel much of a difference between work and not work, so sure. This is anniversary material.

On most years when they stay at the monastery, they will have a nice small private meal in their room, a glass of wine, and a nice fire going. They will also send flowers to one another during the day when they are hard at work. Awaken the other with a kiss etc...

Rhea is so very, very old, and loved for the best part of a thousand years single and unloved in the way that she craved... Those small and simple gestures, a box of chocolates (of which she is not particularly fond), having her lover walk up behind her, place a kiss on the back of her neck, and then take over brushing her hair... there is hardly a paradise of which she more strongly craves.

(Side note, I used to teach English as a second and foreign language, and A1 is the Most Beginner Level we can assign someone when they are learning to communicate in it, so when I read that I almost busted out laughing 😂 )
