My favorite movie (and book): Johnny Got His Gun https://archive.org/details/johnny-got-his-gun It's so beautiful, cruel, poetic and real. I searched for years to watch since 12yo and lots of years to truly understand the intensity of it. It's a perfect anti-war movie and stays in your head forever (and the Timothy Bottom's voice is wonderful to catch the agony and feelings of Joe Bonham). ♡

I have not seen any thank yous, but i did see that post about being so horny and i can’t help but feel like i was one of the people you were directing that towards. I thought you wanted horny. If you wanted sweet, you should have just said you wanted sweet. I can do that. Here:

The soft sunlight shined in through the open windows, shining on Shen Yuan’s pale skin, illuminating him, making him seem to glow. He sat poised and beautiful, eyes downcast as he read the book in his hands, a gentle smile on his lips. The windows brought in a fresh breeze that rustled through the grove of bamboo you planted for Shen Yuan after he bought you both this little cottage away from the world. The breeze brushed along Shen Yuan, making his hair sway. He’s round with your baby, but sated and satisfied. Now it is only softness. 

You putter around in the kitchen, cutting up some sweet fruit for him to snack on. You cut the pomegranate and soak it in a large bowl of water while you gently pull the seeds out, so Shen Yuan’s fingers won’t be stained by the juices. After straining out the white of the pomegranate, you peel the oranges for him, setting the pieces on a plate around the small bowl you put the pomegranate seed in. Adding some blueberries and strawberries to the plate as well, you carry it back over to the couch by the window that Shen Yuan’s curled up on, wrapped in a soft blanket. He sees you from the corner of his eye as you approach, and he looks up, his book lowering to his lap, and smiles up at you. His eyes lower to the plate you hold and his eyes sparkle with interest in it. You smile as you set it down, and crawl onto the sofa next to him, curling into his side, your head resting on his shoulder, and arms around his body, circling the baby he’s carrying for you as well.

“For you, Shizun,” you murmur against him, breathing in his calming scent. He hums and delicately picks up an orange slice. You watch him, softening more into him, as he picks at the offerings you’ve given. You’re happy to see that his fingers are still perfectly pale and clean after eating some pomegranate seeds. This way, the pages of his book won’t be stained. Though, it also means you and your clothing won’t be stained with his finger prints as well. Later, you tell yourself.

You close your eyes as Shen Yuan’s hand comes up and starts petting at your head, gentle strokes through your hair. After a little, his fingers start scritching along your scalp sending pleasant shivers through your body, and you hum with a smile.

“Shizun?” you ask, your voice quiet. He hums in inquiry. “Read to me, please?” You look up at him with puppy eyes, and he has a knowing smile as he sighs.

“Very well,” he says, a light smile playing at his lips. He picks the book he was reading up, and his gentle voice reads you passages from it, a story woven from his lulling voice. You gaze up at him as he reads, watching the sunlight play on his face, the shadows and highlights. You watch the wind brush his dark hair against his skin, tickling it. The air is filled with the fresh smell of earth from the grove outside, blown in with the caressing breeze, and the two of you stayed curled up together, warm and happy with each other.

as a teeth fan who in the nhl has your favourite teeth?

i was thinking about your call for more teeth posts earlier this week and like… had not previously given it much thought but mo seider has some good gnashers on him

i cannot even begin to tell you how special it was to me to see this ask after an insanely busy day at work.... physically i'm at my house mentally and emotionally i'm drinking from a coconut on the beach. because of this ask <3 thank you.... ANYWAY! disclaimer of two things: my definition of Good Teeth is different from the standard idea of Good Teeth and also this is in no way comprehensive and totally based on My Guys!!! maybe they're hiding a guy with really good teeth on like, the blues or something idk

top of my list Forever and Always..... i would scream it from the rooftops... from the highest mountains... i would purchase billboard space to tell everyone about this.
