hatehatehate that the kitchen and the room my dad watches tv in are right next to each other withour a door in between so whenever I want to eat literally anything I also have to at least Hear whatever dad is watching and it's usually stuff that makes me very scared and uncomfortable because I am first and foremost a coward and can't stomach violence too well even if I rationally know it's fictional. and my pms just makes my reaction to that kind of stuff more intense so I'll either stand at the fridge making the world's fastest sandwich while holding back tears or just. open the fridge get too uncomfortable close the fridge and run off without getting anything. and it feels so stupid and i feel so ridiculous for reacting to it like this when i know it's just a tv show or a movie or whatever. but i also cant control it and it feels so viscerally bad and scary and uncomfortable. sorry for being literally 5 years old
