As much as Zuke appreciated Mayday's go-getter attitude (if it wasn't just her sheer impulsivity guiding her all the time), it wasn't always easy to keep up with her. Now, having lost sight of the energetic girl, he was stuck in the middle of the plaza with little idea of where to go next.

I hope I don't hear about her on the news later, he thought regrettably. At least I have a moment alone to think about what just happened.

His strange experience left him wondering if what he saw had actually happened. Their recent run-in with DK West left Zuke with a great amount of rage coursing through his system... He didn't remember the last time he felt so furious. His older brother could be so petulant and irresponsible! He could never understand why he couldn't take accountability for anything.

When grabbing some food at Auntie's burger stand later that day, he had to excuse himself and take a breather in a nearby bathroom. He swore he saw some kind of tentacle hanging out of his hair when he tried to wash his face, but further investigation yielded nothing - no octopi hiding in his dreads and no weird smell of seafood anywhere on him. The experience was enough to push the angry feelings out of him and replace the empty emotional space with pure confusion.

Zuke was convinced that it might have been a joke or some strange hallucination - he wouldn't be surprised if DK attempted to do that as he was leaving him - or maybe the burger he ate that day didn't sit right with him.

Whatever happened then... He hoped it was just the burger.

Toad Man could not believe what he was seeing.

Being the resident agricultural chemist located in the area, the Robot Master often made rounds to the local farms to check on the soil quality in their fields and to provide any additional nutrients that were lacking. As a last resort, he could also generate rain clouds over the area to spread fertilizer and water as needed. It was what he was built for, after all.

After seeing all of the crop fields in perfect condition earlier in the week, it didn't make sense that he was suddenly receiving reports of crops being wiped out overnight. It wasn't just one type of crop either - entire farms were being wiped of their product.

While he hurriedly sent out replies that he'd check them out as soon as he could, the Robot Master suspected foul play afoot. If it wasn't the work of a vengeful overseas agricultural company, it sounded distinctly like Wilybot-flavored sabotage.

Filing his suspicions away for later, he'd make his way out the door to investigate.

He doesn't have anything he hates touching, but he dislikes the feeling of slimy textures or sticky. He's had kids so he's grown used to it.

He overcame it unfortunately when he was alive and he had to carry a toad back outside that promptly peed on him after he managed to catch it.
