I was wondering if the new season of TCW is going to affect the new season of Tano and Kenobi? Like is Maul gonna play a bigger role if he had one at all? I mean like in backstory or appearing with the burning man?

Hello there! This is an excellent question and gives me a chance to define a little more clearly what parts of Star Wars I’m working from. 

Canon for Tano and Kenobi consists of the following: 

The Phantom Menace

Attack of the Clones

Revenge of the Sith 

The Clone Wars Seasons 1 through 6

The general arc of Ahsoka’s appearances in Rebels up to and including Twilight of the Apprentice but nothing after that. 

I started Tano and Kenobi before Rebels was finished and Ezra went full Time Lord on us to save Ahsoka from Darth I-Cry-And-Make-Bad-Life-Choices Vader. I am curious to see what becomes of Ahsoka the White and how Filoni choses to bring her story to a close. 

The Original Trilogy, i.e. A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi

While Ahsoka doesn’t know this is all going to happen, this IS what happened in the timeline she left behind. 

Because the full story arc of Tano and Kenobi was planned out before we knew Season 7 was going to come back, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to include it in my story. You may see references here or there but it’s not canon in the same way Seasons 1 through 6 are. 

Generally speaking, when it comes to Ahsoka’s back story, I’ve tried to stay roughly in the same neighborhood of what Dave Filoni said in the Ahsoka’s Untold Tales Panel from back in 2016. That being said Padawan Obi-Wan is both amazed and horrified at how bad ass and dangerous his master is being in the last episodes of the Clone Wars. He would really like her to stop fighting Sith Lords in dangerous places where she could theoretically plummet to her death.

I can promise you that Maul was already scheduled to be a part of Tano and Kenobi and we should be seeing him sooner rather that later. His roll in the story remains unchanged but I may give him more dialogue. 

Also, while I have borrowed some concepts from the Jedi Apprentice series, namely the threat of Bandomeer and Qui-Gon’s initial rejection of Obi-Wan’s request for training, that’s all I have planned to include. Since the story’s main focus is on Ahsoka and Obi-Wan, I would rather focus on characters they both have some kind of relationship with, i.e. Obi-Wan’s Future Fabulous Masters of the Jedi Order Squad, the Kryze sisters and the Ohnakas. Because I brought that flamboyant woman to life and I can’t just leave her to languish in just one fic. This bejeweled lady needs screentime!

Will there be any alternate prompts?

Yes! In addition to the seven daily prompts, I will be posting three additional prompts just in case.

Do I have to do something for every single day?

Not at all! You can do all of them or just a few, even one if you want!

What about the schedule? Do I have to post within the week?

Nope! Don't post anything before the start date, but I will be checking the tag until the end of June so you have some extra time if you need it. If you come in late or if you missed it, don't worry! I should see it as long as you post within June!

Is this only for fics?

Certainly not! I'm choosing these prompts carefully and attempting to cater towards all content creation. This challenge is open not only to fic authors, but artists, editors, and other content creators too!

Can I include other characters besides Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka?

You can, but it should be focused on the trio. This challenge is to celebrate them, after all! However, they do have a lot of cool friends and every great trio needs some supporting buddies! If you find yourself putting in characters to support the trio, that's perfectly fine!

What if I only include two of them?

The focus should be on the whole trio, however, if you've filled the prompt, I will gladly accept something about only two! Aim for all three, but if you end up with something like Obi-Wan and Ahsoka bonding over their salt for how messy Anakin keeps his living space, I'd count it!

Star Wars #62 Title: In Vino Pairing/Characters Obi-Wan Kenobi/Anakin Skywalker Rating: Explicit Warnings/Tags: Mildly Dubious Consent (the characters have a consensual sexual encounter while both are drunk, which leads to sober regret and misunderstandings). Summary At the end of the Clone Wars, Anakin is spiraling and comes onto Obi-Wan while both are drunk. Against his better judgment, Obi-Wan goes along with it. The next morning, Obi-Wan pretends he doesn't remember, thinking this will be better for everyone, but confusing Anakin, who isn't sure if he dreamed the encounter or not. Their strained relationship results in them separating during the next mission, and a distracted Obi-Wan is captured and drugged. When Anakin rescues him, they end up trapped together and finally work out their feelings. #63 Title: Starkiller Day Pairing/Characters Armitage Hux/Kylo Ren Rating: Teen Warnings/Tags: Temporary character death Summary The morning after the destruction of Starkiller base, Hux woke up…to find it was the morning of the destruction of Starkiller base. Meanwhile, Grand Admiral Thrawn is thought dead by the Republic and Empire alike, but he has in fact survived and returned home to Chiss space, where he is tending his wounds and battling his demons. Rules:

I am a minor. As such, smut can not be requested and can not be written. As a compromise, smutty themes can be used as overtones or undertones, often vaguely or simply eluded to. But pure smut? Not for a few months, which is when I’ll be 18. Sorry horndogs. 

Please request through the submission inbox, or my direct messages. Further more, be polite. Be clear. If I ask a question to clear something up, answer it. Don’t let it dangle. I will always ask if there’s anything else you so desire (a word count, any details) so please tell me if there’s��nothing else or if there is. English is also not my first language. 

Do not request something against canon. I have written like that before and did not enjoy that. This means if something is considered canon, say Star Wars, such as a line of dialogue or something shown on screen, I would refuse to write you into it. I feel that it distorts the fiction so much you wouldn’t really be in it, and the characters wouldn’t be themselves anymore. Allow me to write you into the world as a side character, as something not shown directly but something that could fit into canon. 

Some fictional characters have different versions of them. For example, Movie Anakin Skywalker, and the Clone Wars Anakin Skywalker. Ben Affleck Batman, or Christian Bale Batman? Or even, Comic Accurate Batman? Specify for me. If not specified after asking for it, I will write the character with headcanon information pulled from multiple ‘canon’ sources. This will be referred to as ‘headcanoned canon’.

Reblog my stuff? Absolutely. I see all my reblogs. But take it an post it to a different site? No. Don’t do that. Maybe I’ll spread over to Ao3 one day, but for now, please don’t. 

Last one I can think of for now. But luckily this can be updated over time. I don’t write drabbles. I know! But just imagine all the times you’ve read a fic so good, only for it to end so soon. I like the thought of writing something both high quality and high quantity, which means I won’t be satisfied with anything under 2,000 words. Unfortunately, this may sometimes come at the expense of time. Especially if what you requested doesn’t fit into my current hyperfixation.

What You Can Expect From Me:

Fanfiction

Headcanons- While I’d consider all of my fanfiction headcanons, I’m referring to those little bullet point things you’ll see writers do. Here’s my deal on that. I won’t do romantic headcanons for the characters listed above. By that I mean you won’t see anything titled, “How Poe Dameron Would Cuddle”, or anything of that sort. But you probably will see just my own little headcanons for fun. Like, little fun facts. You know, “Superman’s favorite food is ____”, “Nines hates rats”.

However, I will write romantic headcanons for my OC’s. But that’s for later.

Further regarding fanfiction, I typically write angst. Not sure why, it’s just what I started with because I thought the plots were strongest and I wanted to see where I could take it. Like I said, no smut, but you’ll find allusions to it. Fluff? Yeah, it’s there. Hard for me to write fluff without a plot, but it does exist on my page. 

Original Stories

Most people ignore this, but if you see that I’ve posted it won’t always be something regarding your favorite character. I write my own little stories that’s basically just glorified, book length headcanons for a few worlds, but mostly the Star Wars galaxy. What I mean by this, is that unlike a lot of writers, I don’t work on a schedule. There’s no “once a week posting”, or anything like that. What I finish and give the okay to, is posted. If you’ve requested something, I’ll let you know that it’s about to go out. So sometimes a burst of fics may be pumped out in a week, or none will for up to a month.

Going by EST, I typically am most active at night and early morning. Especially in the summer. During fall this may change.

I rarely put out a post that is unrelated to my writings. If it is related to my personal life instead, it will be posted, but not saved. Documented and available, but never pinned or anything. 

FAQ:

Do you write queer pairings?

Yes. My earlier works usually elude to a female reader and it’s blaringly obvious, though it’s shifting into androgyny for ease of reader. I would prefer to have an androgynous reader instead of a set in stone male or female one. 

Am I reading a queer fanfic written by a straight person?

You are not. I am androgynous myself in terms of gender and unlabeled in terms of sexuality. 

Do you write for poc?

This question shocks me, though I’ve gotten it twice. Then I realized- it’s because so many writers forget the point of a reader. The reader may be described as blonde, or white, or thin, or female. You will not find that here. There will be no set in stone appearance for the reader except for mentions of whatever hair you may possess (apologies to those without hair). There will be no talk of ‘light skin’, or ‘curvy figure’. The farthest I’ll go is describing you as pale, if say, you were sick. Because any race or skin tone can go pale, you know? The only thing I’d do- rarely- is give you a real age. But only to further the plot if needed.

 My point is, ‘Y/N’ is not just a pretty white person with long hair. It’s inclusive to anyone. I’ll stand by that. 

Do you write headcanons?

Answered in the above section. Long story short, I’m working on it, but on my terms. 

Do you write song fics?

I haven’t before. Why? They make me cringe. I don’t know why. I’ll write a fic based on a song, or with undertones of a song. But those little paragraphs with the lyrics that aren’t even in time with what you’re reading if you were to read and listen at the same time? I don’t think so. 

Do you know what sex is?

I do. 

Will you have e-sex with me in the direct message chatbox?

I will not. 

Why do you write on tumblr?

I started writing just to share an old word document with over 300 pages worth of an Original Star Wars story. I tried my hand at fanfiction because, while I don’t read it often myself, I know a lot of people do. It helps them escape reality. And, I’m a pretty good writer, I think. At least I can only get better. I’m just one more person trying to put something out for people to enjoy, and maybe even rely on. 

Will you ever write for real people?

If I ever wrote a fanfiction about Christian Bale or like Barack Obama I think I would just disappear. I can’t do it. It’s like warping my own reality. 

How often do you post?

I don’t know. 

Do you have a taglist?

I did! But only for Star Wars. If you want to be tagged in something, let me know. But you have to be specific. Just for a certain character? For a certain fandom? A certain plot? Just og stories? Be clear. 

Dynamics I Enjoy Writing:

Man simps for person who almost wants nothing to do with them. 

Hero simps for villain or villain simps for hero despite the obvious consequences.

Two jokesters destroy some area while left alone together. May get along better than they would admit. 

Two people who are not expected to get along, get along well. 

Hero and villain are best friends but won’t admit it.

Basically if I’m left to my own mind most of my fics will fall under one of these dynamics. Not always- definitely not always. But I kinda like them.

Howdy Nony! How’s it going in your neck of the woods? Is it cold? The Elder Sith Parents have informed me that it is going to be -10℉/-23℃ where they reside Hoth apparently and I am cold just thinking about it. 

But let’s answer your questions and hide from my anxiety about... well, everything!

Any plans to keep Tano and Kenobi going past the point where RotS would have ended? 

No, none at the moment. I know how Tano and Kenobi will end and I know the last line, or some approximation there of, and that’s all I can say about that. :D

Also, director's cut question: just how many people in the Jedi Order have already figured out that she's actually been time-displaced?

No one. Why would they think she’s temporally displaced? People think she’s a little... odd and very unorthodox but that’s all. Yoda knows there’s something special about her and Yoda has spoken to the Presence but he has no reason to believe she’s a time traveler. 

I mean, unless Yoda is REALLY into a holodramedy that stars a wacky, time-traveling sentient in funny hats, who flies a space ship that looks vaguely like a Security Holo Call Box, and the beleaguered human companions who wearily follow after them and hope The Healer doesn’t get them all killed. 

Actually that sounds exactly like something Yoda would love to watch. Hondo Ohnaka too while I’m thinking about it. 

Final question: Will Master Tano stick around long enough that she meets her brand-spankin-new-to-the-Order younger self?

Of course Ahsoka’s not going to actually murder Qui-Gon because that is not true to her character (Obi-Wan and Padme would be appalled!) but there might be some choice words because she IS Anakin’s padawan.

Is Ahsoka still trying to change the rule that sends out 13 year olds if they don't find a master in T&k

That’s the plan! Assuming she hasn’t changed it while I wasn’t paying attention. 

Ahsoka’s been focusing mostly on Obi-Wan at this point but once he achieves his knighthood, her plan is to start working on bringing some fundamental changes to the Jedi Order. And keeping a very, VERY close eye on a certain senator from Naboo. 

First on her list is the ridiculous-stupid-no-good-rule about drop kicking initiates out when they’re 13 if no one adopts choses to train them which doesn’t seem to be in effect by the time we get to Ahsoka’s youth because maybe someone got some sense knocked into them. Either that or the Council went “Holy Sith Hell! Look at how awesome Obi-Wan is and we almost booted him out in a moment of truly questionable old canon that should not be brought back Lucasfilm.”

Hello Nony and welcome to another lovely weekend of desperate pining for rain in the Sith Lair! Thank you very much for your kind words about Tano and Kenobi! It’s very sweet of you to wander into my inbox and leave them for me to find while I’m looking for this thing my cats knocked off my nightstand. WHERE IS IT? WHERE DID YOU FURRY NINJAS LEAVE IT??

I did post something about the last two chapters of Season Three about two weeks ago I think? Here is the link in case you didn’t have a chance to read the post. 

In short, the last two chapters are coming but they will go up at the same time and no, I don’t have a firm timeline for when they will be done. Currently the Sith Lair is operating around the medical needs of @writegowrite who is my first priority. As she improves, or we find a treatment plan that works to help manage her epilepsy better, my writing will have to be squeezed in where I can I find the time for it. 

That being said, I do have a plan for the next two chapters that *I* like and I’m hoping that y’all will like it as well. 

At the end of Season Three, Tano and Kenobi will go on another season break before we return with Season Four that has the working title of “Top Ten Ways to Prevent the Clone Wars. Number Four will Shock You!”

I think it’s just going to be a dramatic surprise a la Master Obi-Wan. Complete with dramatic posing, expensive VFX, and possibly a Maul cameo*.

I’m not sure that’s how the Force works exactly but Obi-Wan and Anakin seemed to be just fine flinging themselves out of high windows or speeders or ships or...

I’m starting to think Obi-Wan and Anakin were adrenaline junkies...

Point being that if Obi-Wan and Anakin can fling themselves repeatedly off of tall things, plummet through Coruscanti traffic and come out fine on the other end, I’m POSITITVE Master Jinn is more than capable of surviving a polite but firm boot out a Council window. He’s probably offended that we ever doubted his ability to laugh in the face of gravity.

Of course that’s not how Mace or Yoda will handle it. I’m sure some important diplomatic mission to the Flahena System will come up and the Senate/Chancellor/The Force insists that Qui-Gon, and no one else, go there. Right. Now. Like. Yesterday. Qui-Gon will protest but Mace’s hands are tied, really. It’s not like the Jedi Order can refuse a request from Queen Annyania of Flahena Major, who is hosting peace talks that are threatening to descend into chaos because... because... it doesn’t matter, Qui-Gon. Get your butt on the ship and go!

And Qui-Gon will go, but he won’t like it, and he’ll complain the whole way there and back but that is a story for another time and another season.

Are you making sure to put enough sunscreen on? You have to maintain that clear grey complexion after all! And that is HARD to do with summer right around the corner and the Giant Fireball in the Sky trying to chargrill us all six ways from Tuesday. Does Asajj Ventress have a place in Tano and Kenobi?

That is a good question and one that I do not have an answer for. I don’t have any plans for her to show up in Season Three, although I imagine she’s out there somewhere learning how to fight with the guy who took her away from her tribe on Dathomir. 

As for what happens to her after that, I suppose that is up to the events in Season Three if they play out similar to what happened in the original time line.

I’ve asked Dooku about his plans to leave the Jedi Order and start a secessionist movement but he just glowered down at me and asked if I was quite done wasting his time. And then he strolled off, his robes wafting in the breeze all dramatically. 

So... I guess that’s a no?

Anyway, I haven’t decided where Asajj will show up but I’m sure she’ll make her presence known, somehow. I wonder what Ahsoka’s database entry on Asajj looks like?

Ventress, Asajj: Female, bald, pale and tattooed. 

Skyguy never liked her much but that’s not saying much. He didn’t like anybody who was a Separatist. Also, I think she might have given him his scar. Maybe. I’m not certain because it happened before I became his padawan learner. 

Are we noticing a pattern here? Traumatic things happen to Anakin and he doesn’t tell me ANYTHING about it, leaving me to stumble around half-blind in the past hoping I’m not accidentally starting the Clone Wars twenty years too early or starting some kind of crime war with the Hutt Syndicate. Thanks, Skyguy!

You know what would have helped, Master? Telling me that Qui-Gon Jinn was kind of an asshole and Master Obi-Wan was amazing INSPITE of that Qui-Gon’s best attempts otherwise! UGH!

Hello Nony! I hope you’re having a lovely Sunday and you have some enjoyable plans for the upcoming new years. Lily and I will be hopefully going to bed early and sleeping through the bombardment of fireworks that is an annual tradition in the Great State of Texas(tm). Fingers crossed, y’all.

But to answer your question, no, there are no plans to introduce a baby Ahsoka in Tano and Kenobi. Baby Anakin is trouble enough. Adorable trouble, but still, that little bundle of curls and giggles is going to makes someone go prematurely grey. I am looking at you Obi-Wan. Oooo! Silver Fox Obi-Wan!

 As I’ve said in the past, as far as the Force is concerned, Ahsoka already exists in the time line now. There is no reason to bring her into being when she’s already there. 

This doesn’t mean Ahsoka won’t be having awkward conversations with Plo Koon. I’m sure a LOT of her conversations with the Jedi Council members and older Jedi she looked up to in her youth are awkward for Ahsoka but this is one conversation you will have to imagine for yourself. ^____~
