☣️🐀☢️ Tarchaak gets to debut in art form! Despite the fact I've had him as a character for a few years now. He's a botanist and environmental science tech (and eco-terrorist but we don't talk about that out in the open) but his hobbies include club dancing and being as Extra as possible.

More Tarchaak art, this time studies and what he looks like under the mask. Definitely subconsciously channeled Corpus from Warframe aesthetic for his face tattoos. Little bit of character tidbits under the cut for those interested:

The dramatic markings and his fashion sense are a bit of a double-edged sword for him. At the clubs and his after-work social circles he fits right in but in his professional spheres with his fellow scientists he stands out, some of his more straight-laced colleagues don't take him seriously but he'll use that to his advantage, sometimes playing up an irreverent or nonchalant attitude to further the effect he has on them. (to their chagrin and annoyance at the "upstart environmentalist who doesn't take his degree seriously"). Despite his antisocial streak he's actually a brilliant, passionate field researcher who tends to fly under the radar until his methodology and application of practical and scholarly knowledge ends up being the breakthrough in the projects he helps with.

His preferred name can be a sticking point as well. His graduation thesis project was him living for an entire year with skritt, so he could observe their culture and how they interact with the Tyrian ecosystem as a whole. In the process he became accepted and became an honorary skritt himself and adopted the name they gave him, Tarchaak. He felt it was a hard-earned title, so he wears it as a badge of honor and uses it over his Asuran birth name, Tarzkk. A majority of the fellow asura he works with aren't a fan of this, further deepening the misanthropy he makes no efforts to combat. The krewes he gets hired onto have to deal with his quirks regardless because of how good he is at the work and projects he applies himself to, and he wouldn't have it any other way. He just gets along better with plants, animals and fellow cultural fringers is all.

Have not posted a whole lot here lately but I DID just finish updating Tarchaak's in-game look. After being so happy with how I draw him, his old look just was not up to that impossibly high standard but after having him a few years I'm finally happy with how he looks in the game now! (also me kinda half-assedly messing with some filters cuz his colors are fun)

Aaaaaa I wish I could finish the inks tonight (still need to fill in the design in the background) but sadly need to go to bed cuz work tomorrow.
