I figured I should just bite the bullet and post this WIP that's been sitting in my folders for about a year. My old Adamant Guard, Badger Rivegunner, designated to pencil-pushing. Really hoping I can find the motivation to finish this one someday.

Nektarius developed some serious trust issues during Tribulation Mode of SAB. Not even the flowers are nice to you in this mode. THEY F**KING EXPLODE IN YOUR FACE!

So what does a good Friend like Rolan do? Right. Having some fun.

Nekt is fine. She had fun. Sure she cried a little and screamed during Trib. Mode,... but she is fine. At least she managed to beat both worlds. And in the end both laughed. But it will take some time until Nekt is able to trust Flowers in SAB again. (And Rocks. And Barrels,... just everything.)

HAPPY 10TH, QIRRI!

Ten years and tens of dozens of stories.

While she's not my oldest character, or even actually my second (Oaklinna is my oldest, and I made a couple others who were deleted years ago before her), she WAS my first asura. Qirri started out as something of a joke and a challenge- could I make an albino asura who was also just way too dang cute for her own good.

And I did! Here she is when I first made her- it would be a year after I made her before we got the hairstyle kit that really elevated her to an S Tier Rat:

From a stubborn, angry, scared fifteen year old girl who ran away from home to try to make a name for herself to the grown up krewe chief we know and love today, she's genuinely my favorite of all my characters, and she really got me into playing with the storytelling of this game. She got me into the lore and worldbuilding, and the past and fascinating storytelling that exists under the surface with the asura as a whole.

And, of course, my most beloved thing about her story: her little sister/big brother relationship with @wall-legion's big boy Garrus Firstblood, who adopted her into his warband.

If it hadn't been for Qirri, I may not have stayed as into GW2 as I am.

And thanks to being here, I got to meet a lot of really fun, really fascinating people and make some great friends.

So props to our tiniest little chronically ill albino terror. And here's to, hopefully, another ten years great years. Who knows where the story will take us all next?

So youtube recommended me this video because 50% of the vids I watch are PvZ related, and I'm gonna be crystal pepsi with yall but I forgot Zomboss spoke actual full sentences in GW1. I'm so used to his funny zombie speak in GW2 that hearing him say actual words genuinely caught me off guard. Oh he sounds weird, I forgot he sounded like that, WHY IS HE BRITISH

So thats why the wiki think he shares his VA with Doofenschmirtz--is it weird that I thought his voice sounded scratchier? Maybe I mandela effect'd myself into thinking he sounded different??

(also a few people in the comments headcanon that the fake language he speaks in GW2 is zombie language, so his troops can understand him better and yeah I'll just osmose that into my many headcanons for this twat.)

I always find the concept of tomes intriguing. How would Erris explain it to Logan, the good old core guard and her mentor, that she fights to protect precious knowledge, by summoning ancient tome, tearing them apart, igniting the pages and throw them at the enemies?

In universe reason for the several year delay for more SAB:

Moto keeps trying to refactor their code for the box to squash those glitches

Moto is trying to finish tribulation mode to proove it can be done RTA

Busy building a Scrooge McDuck style money pit for all those continue coins we keep giving him

The progeny the box was made for keep sending him fanfiction about Princess Miya and Lord Vanquish and he got too absorbed in their 23,870 chapter collaborative epic

Moto forgot the password for his administrator access to the box and is spending the rest of the year looking for his super-secret-do-not-read password book he's not supposed to have.

He caught covid and has some real bad long covid symptoms

Is earning way more money as a full time cosplayer for Princess Miya who makes appearances at progeny birthdays and gatherings
