Conflict is uncomfortable to me. I don't always know how to explain how I feel, why I feel the way I do or clear on what my needs are in a particular situation to say "this is what I need and why" And because I tend to compromise my needs for the sake of my discomfort I don't want to continue falling into that trap. I worry about disagreeing and disrupting things and at times I'm insecure about my perspective and is it valid. That's a lot of shit to process when conflict comes up for me. I'm in those feelings too often do I needed to do something to support myself through all of that. Holding space for myself is my current way of managing my emotional triggers. When I'm clear about all those things that showed up, I feel better about revisiting the situation. What do you do to manage your emotional triggers? Your emotions, thoughts, behavior patterns etc. The scary thing is looking inward forces you to confront – the positive, the negative, the weaknesses and the strengths, the consistencies and the inconsistencies, the reality or the fantasy, past pains, wounds and more. And we're not always ready to face the not so good stuff. Because that means you then have to hold yourself accountable to do the inner-work to improve those aspects of yourself that are not working for your highest good. Creating space for yourself, and the tools you'll need Tools for practicing INNER COURSE™. Your decisions will be based on fully understanding what is right or wrong for you. 🍂It allows you to recognize any negative patterns, and how and why they have a detrimental effect on your life.
