There is a movement afoot for technology to change accountants. And it's not just in the accounting field. The problems faced by various industries have become even more severe as the number of people employed in those industries has been on the rise. So the profession of accounting is not one that can be made obsolete by anything, no matter how good the technology is. So, if we want to keep the profession of accounting, we will have to look at a new tech solution that will help us with the problems that the profession faces. What will this new solution look like? Well, first we will have to get rid of the software and technology that are used today, which are all computer programs and technology that have been present since the beginning of time. They were the only solutions available and even if the computer technology had changed and become more user friendly, it would still not be able to deal with the problems that accountants face. And yes, for a while, there was a hope for accounting that ifwe could get rid of the software, the accounting field would have a chance of survival. But the more we tried to eliminate this from the industry, the more difficult the situation became. We even lost many more clients because they would not be able to understand the computers and it would take them time to do the work. These days, the profession of accounting is under siege and we can no longer hope to retain it. In fact, it is better for the profession of accounting to be completely replaced by something like a medical professional that understands how to deal with an electronic environment. Once that happens, there is the final solution to the problem of accountants. Once they are able to learn how to operate these machines, we will have to think of a better way to teach them how to deal with the software and tech that have made accounting obsolete. Training should be made mandatory and must be done well before a child goes to school. A child should be taught in such a way that he can use the technology and be able to operate it by the time he becomes of age to operate it. Now, the great thing about this solution is that it won't cost much and will solve all the problems of accountants without having to change the profession itself. Instead, we can see an increase in the number of accountants, as the training will force them to move up and with more good paying jobs.

I am not a mathematician or computer genius but I have heard enough talk about this profession to tell you that I am not sure if accountants are really needed anymore. For me, it seems like accountants are there to fill in the blanks. But, what is the difference between a computer and new technology? I understand that the computer is better but with computers, we are no longer there to get things done the way we used to. So, what is going to happen to accountants? Some of the people in the accounting field do not believe accountants. Most accountants believe that accountants can be done away with because in today's economy, you need someone else to get things done and if you don't have one, you will need to outsource everything. It is nice to have people around you to get things done but there are days when you are just not as busy as you once were. Are accountants going to be eliminated from the accounting world? I have had a little job but that is not a long-term job. I really can only do it a few hours per week. My favorite part of doing my job is the bookkeeping part of it and the bookkeeping is not something that I can do by myself. I think accountants are necessary. The question is what kind of accountants do you need? Do you need an auditor or an accountant? Do you need a bookkeeper? Do you need someone who is constantly on the go and has a job so that they can pay the bills? What about people who need to work part-time jobs to make ends meet? If accounting didn't require any technical skills at all, then this job would be safe. I don't see Engineering jobs disappearing anytime soon. Engineers will always be needed for the tasks that involve electricity, the sciences, or the Industrial Engineering world. This is why Engineers will always be needed in accounting. You need Accountants for accounting to do accounting. Accountants will not be replaced by Accountants. Accountants that only do accounting will be replaced by Accountants that are interested in accounting. The big accounting firms will still exist. But those accounting firms that require a deep understanding of financial accounting will require an Accountant. If accounting was ever changed to focus on more of a technological effort to create better financial decisions, accounting would be fine. Accountants will not be replaced by Accountants, but Accountants will also not be replaced by Engineers. That is a safe place to keep accounting. Accounting will continue to exist, though Accountants will need to continue to be educated. That is why accounting is a job that will never be completely eliminated.
