The question that many companies have is whether or not can technology replace the role of a company director. However, as a small business owner you will want to keep your marketing activities to a minimum. If you think that you can only use the Internet to market your product then you have missed the boat. If you have a plan to use the Internet in your company's marketing efforts then you have already thought about the needs of your customers. There are now companies that will develop products that will do your marketing for you. That is one solution. Now you don't have to worry about learning how to market a product to your customers. You can continue to do that and you can even increase the sales with the help of those programs. Some companies will utilize the Internet to do the job for them. They will create websites that will give the customers what they want to know. You have to determine what you really want to know. Can you not find that information on the Internet? It is certainly true that you need to know that information. You also need to know the importance of it. If you do not have a good reputation then you have to maintain that reputation. If you do not have good customer service and loyalty then you have to maintain that reputation. In some cases a company director can be replaced by a computer. This is really one way to cut costs. When you find that you can save money and time then it is time to look for other solutions. What the computer does it gives you more options. So will a computer replace a company director? This is a serious problem, because the other six could also have a lot of experience, but because of the experience with which they came into the board, they might not make the best choice for the position. As far as I can tell, this problem exists because of the problems with the rules that were created for the selection of the members of the board. If the members of the board could make their own choices, then there would be no need for this problem, because this problem would never arise. Another problem with this scenario is that it is too expensive to hire an outside group to do this job, especially for smaller boards. It is not like you could get a computer expert to analyze the existing candidate pool and choose someone who was truly the best. One of the solutions that I have suggested, which seems to work quite well, is to have three votes, and then you need to make one more vote for each new member. This still involves a fairly complex procedure, and it is certainly not something that can be done by a committee, and of course, it does not always work the way that it should. The one other approach that I have heard of, which works quite well, is to actually have the position of director is "vacant". That means that someone will have to step down, and then the next person in line will be able to serve as a director. If you really want to solve this problem, then I am sure that you have already thought of an alternative solution. In other words, they will not lose any of their independence. They will be able to still have a voice and a say in what is happening within the company. Now, they don't need to wait for a board meeting or other committee meeting to meet. They can be involved in the decision making process as soon as they show up. It is now possible to retain a group of members that can show their support for a given issue, or even to present evidence for a particular position. You may ask, how will it work in the field of company directors. Will it be enough to just have a pool of individuals, and then have a chairman to make the decisions? In most cases, this is the type of management structure that most people would prefer to see. However, it is not at all impossible for a current director to delegate his or her responsibilities to a member of the board. All of the computerized aspects, plus having the ability to have a full staff, will bring about efficiency in management. Of course, the best thing about it is that it will allow the current directors to stay active, while at the same time provide a means for the directors to continue their current activities. The other problem is that some authors feel that the publishers are even cheating them, as they want to leave behind money but don't want to pay an author for their work. The idea of a book publisher replacing an author may seem wrong. In my experience, people can be very mean, and in a matter of days, a book can lose an entire season of television advertising, leaving the book holding the bag, and a person to write a book on shoestring budgets. The customers may still buy the books and watch the programs that the author promised. There are books that many people may read who are not necessarily in the marketplace, but the person who writes the book may be a hot topic in some fashion. I always thought that it made sense to give back to the reader. If the author was good enough to be a high-profile novelist, they should be able to find a publisher who could give them a nice chunk of change for a book. Then it dawned on me that the only way for the author to get their book out to the public, is to have a well-written book to sell. If the authors were so good that the publishers wanted them to be in the books, then why wouldn't they want to be in the books? Why would an author want to leave money on the table? Why would an author want to add another variable onto the equation? Then I thought of it was silly. A book publisher is just buying back your work, as if the books were never published. My point is that, this is wrong. You can give back to the readers, by giving them a return on their investment of time and money. So, this is where technology and new ways of doing things can come in. As long as you do not break the rules or do anything illegal, this should be OK. The publisher is simply buying your book back from you. The same way you get paid for every day that you have your job, so too can a publisher get paid for every day that you sell your book. If you sell more books, you get paid more money.

It is no wonder that when they appeared onscreen, they looked so bad. How would they have looked like in the beginning? They were not doing the best they could have done on film. Donald Sutherland can do better. He did so well with "Top Gun". Maybe there will be more opportunities for Sutherland in the future. He is still young, has a long career ahead of him, and the chances of getting star treatment are higher now than ever before. It is sad that young actors are being replaced by unknowns. You would think that everyone would be interested in their film careers. But unfortunately, most of the public only care about the star status. Look at all of the pretty women that Hollywood has turned into actors over the years. They got some famous faces, but only enough fame to warrant a minor role in a film. At some point, the success rate for female actors will hit a ceiling, and at some point, the Academy will begin to seriously consider doing something to help out the actresses that want to be seen. The public would also benefit from having actresses who will not look like a stick figure when they step out onto the red carpet, but rather, someone who is intelligent, not a dumb blonde, but someone who can carry a film. Will technology replace actors? This would be a great way to entertain the masses without having to rely on artificial characterizations or funny voices.

Accountants will not disappear from our lives as much as accountants will change with the changing role of people doing accountancy. Some of the professions that will be important for the future will be Engineers, researchers, financial analysts, or accountants. Each of these professions will exist. More people will be employed in those fields of the economy. Which professions will we have left? To answer this question you need to look at the difference between accounting and engineering. Accounting is simply the knowledge of where your money goes. Engineers are the ones that make the decisions to bring your money back home, making you a better paying customer. Most accountants have very little experience in the field of engineering. They either don't want to do engineering work because it requires more technical skills, they do have enough technical training, or they don't know how to operate accounting equipment. If accounting was always performed by Engineers, then accounting would be useless. Accountants that just didn't care about accounting were easily replaced by Accountants that cared. Those Accountants that are unemployed right now are going to be replaced by Accountants that are interested in accountancy. Accountants that are hired will be those that have the knowledge of accounting. Now that these people have the knowledge they need to succeed in accounting, the accounting job will probably remain safe. If accounting didn't require any technical skills at all, then this job would be safe. I don't see Engineering jobs disappearing anytime soon. Engineers will always be needed for the tasks that involve electricity, the sciences, or the Industrial Engineering world. This is why Engineers will always be needed in accounting. You need Accountants for accounting to do accounting. Accountants will not be replaced by Accountants. Accountants that only do accounting will be replaced by Accountants that are interested in accounting. The big accounting firms will still exist. But those accounting firms that require a deep understanding of financial accounting will require an Accountant. If accounting was ever changed to focus on more of a technological effort to create better financial decisions, accounting would be fine. Accountants will not be replaced by Accountants, but Accountants will also not be replaced by Engineers. That is a safe place to keep accounting. Accounting will continue to exist, though Accountants will need to continue to be educated. That is why accounting is a job that will never be completely eliminated.

It's evident that technology has been around for a very long time. At some point, these inventions may start doing away with human society. When that happens, we might have to look for other ways to communicate and interact with each other. One of the things that technology can do is change how we think about one another. We can't all communicate, think, or do many of the things that people did thousands of years ago. For example, many of the businesses that exist today were started by people who wanted to connect with other people. This includes bookstores, Internet sites, and online businesses. You can see why some people have the fear that computers are taking over human society, and they aren't alone. Just like with television and the movie industry, technology is becoming popular all over the world. In fact, it's going to be the primary source of information for many years to come. But if we aren't able to rely on it to give us a hand in our conflicts, then it can backfire. Perhaps we will see some type of civil war in the US, due to global warming and its effects. Sleep Patterns. It seems that the trends in society, especially health care, and food consumption, reflect our broader socio-economic state. Maybe things will continue to get worse as a result of those trends. You might even see a rise in obesity and poor diet, which is an indicator of a lack of healthy eating habits. School Attendance. As more children grow up in single-parent families, with low income, it becomes harder for them to get into college, so more of them drop out. This leads to high dropout rates in middle and high school. And once they don't enter the job market, they are more likely to get fired. Quality of Life. People want to work and live in a healthy and peaceful environment. We go out to eat, get jobs done in less time, and do everything else in less time. If we are forced to buy gas-guzzling SUVs, can afford to sit on a lazy sofa and watch television, or even think about doing those things, then we won't have much time to do the things we really want to do. Employees. As more people who work outside the home feel the pressure to work outside the home, it affects how they feel about their jobs. It becomes more like one big battle of wills, one that won't allow them to enjoy the benefits of being the boss. Some employees quit or find themselves demoted or laid off. Society. If we are forced to sacrifice the quality of life for the sake of energy conservation, then the younger generations will tend to resent the older generations who put them through school. Perhaps they will start to emulate their parents and become homemakers and "take the economy into their own hands" through farming, nature, or higher education. I'm not saying we will do this, but you can bet that it will happen. Society, eventually. Will technology be able to be used to solve societal problems? What would civilization look like if all energy came from renewable sources, like wind and solar power? Regardless of the answers, we need to ask the question. If our society uses these things to supplement our current energy resources, what will be the effect?
