Terry Giliam Research

Terry Giliam is an American born screen writer, animator and actor.

These two pieces of Giliams work are similar to work we done based of this topic. I chose them because like ours they depict random scenes completely compiled of random images that strangely, somehow connect.

The way we did ours was through cutting sections out of magazines and sticking them on to a page to create a scene. Giliam makes his animation art in the same way that we did.

His animations are a huge part of the hit tv show Monte Python and his animations carried the show a long way as his cut-out animations were unique and really unseen amongst a lot of other shows/series.

After his long envolvement with Monte Python he eventually branched out to pursue a solo career by directing and creating more animations. He directed many movies such as Time Bandits, The Zero Theurom, Twelve Monkeys and more.
