5. Flatowoods monster- classic stylish, pop culture icon right up there with mothman. Shockingly more commonly used in video games too.

I'm on the fence about the plausibility of this one. I feel it could be explained in several ways, yes. But also, it's just fun to consider it from a theoretical evolution standpoint. Why would an alien species evolve those traits?

4. Jackalope- Totally not real, but I delight in it because it's a wonderful handshake between a Cryptid and a Fearsome Critter. Made up by cowboys? Heck yeah. They sing! They love whiskey! Do they have antlers or horns? Whichever you prefer! What's more delightful that that?

3. Blobsters- yeah blobsters are real dead animals, I just delight in seeing conspiracy theories idiots twist themselves into knots trying to explain that NO this is clearly NOT a decomposed whale, it's a plesiosaur!!! Or a sea dragon!!! Just don't look too close at the actual skeleton peeking out-

2. Mothman. Used to scare the daylights out of me, now one of my favorites. Study what you fear, etc etc. Is it real? No I don't really think so. But I delight in the ways it's worked into our culture.

“I’ve been in worse places,” grumbled Richard, as he knocked back another sip from his scotch. “Besides, maybe I wanted to drink alone outside my home. Ye’ can drink alone in a pub, y’know?” Wait. Why the hell was he even explaining himself to this random stranger? Richard didn’t owe him anything.

The Scotsman downed his glass and ordered himself another. He was just about to enjoy the quiet company of his booze until he noticed the other man hadn’t left.-- Worse. He began talking to him. Richard wanted nothing more than to disappear right now. Socializing wasn’t exactly in the hitman’s vocabulary, unless it was truly needed. “Mm. I guess ye’ can say it was a rough day at work’,” he tut, stealing another long sip from his new glass. To be fair, Richard wasn’t wrong. After all, letting your mark get away because of a stupid reason, only to be threatened by your boss was never a pleasant experience. Although, what truly got the Scotsman wasn’t the consequences of his actions. No. It was the ‘what if’ that could’ve gone down. His mark had a kid. Why the hell didn’t they tell him his damn target was a father. To think, if Richard had pulled the trigger before knowing that.... Poor wee girl. The Scotsman did his best to swallow back the echoes of his lingering guilt. “Wha’ ‘bout ye’ then, eh? Rough day at the office, or broken heart?” Richard’s blue eyes trailed to give the other a once over. “Mm. Then again, ye’ look too chipper for either of the two. Are ye’ waitin’ for a date or somethin’?”

River is heterosexual, her interests gear towards those who identify as male and present as masculine.

River has always had a bit of a preference towards masculine men... There's just something about a strong, capable, rough n' rugged man that makes her swoon and feel all kinds of ways, and that probably won't change anytime soon.

Still, that doesn't mean less macho men have no chance at all with her. Her daughter's father may have sported some nice facial hair that tickled the masculine fancy, but he was on the skinnier-side. Skinnier than she was even, and shave that beard off, he had an absolute baby-face. In the end, she'll always pick someone compatible personality-wise, no matter what kind of package he comes in.

This one is a little bit tricky... Being as outgoing and gregarious as she is, River would have absolutely have no problem claiming her partner as hers. However, as she is a villainous assassin-lady, doing that would come with all kinds of risks no matter what said partner's status in society is.

Boyfriend's a standard civvie? Well now she's gone and outed him as a weakness of hers, and slam-dunked him into a pit of constant danger. Boyfriend's a villain? Same thing sort-of for the both of them, and there's always that sense of reputation needing to be upheld when you're a criminal... Flings are one thing, but commitment to someone like that is another. Boyfriend's a hero? Well now she's gone and ruined his reputation and catapulted his morality into question: who's going to trust him now when he's literally in bed with the enemy?

Now, if her lover doesn't have any problem with the possible consequences of making their relationship being public, she'll proclaim how proud she is being with him to the highest heavens. However, unless it's little things that can easily be overlooked or gotten-away with, most of her love will probably be kept private.

Groaning, Rinne slumped up against the small sofa in Niki's (and his, by proxy) apartment's living area. As he stared down at his bruised knuckles - they weren't anywhere near as bad as the shiner on his face or the scrapes on his arms - he had to reevaluate his life choices. Again.

It had been a pretty normal night at the pachinko parlor, really. How was he to know that the guy next to him had been a very angry drunk and that the man had convinced himself that Rinne had to be cheating. He hadn't been, that was the most annoying thing, because Rinne honestly didn't believe in toying with Lady Luck like that, it just meant that he would slip out of favor from her.

Still, the guy had cornered him when he left and while idols most certainly didn't get into fights, he had to be allowed to defend himself, right? He had tried to walk away, but the man wouldn't have it. And this was the result.

I love your comic! I just been wondering how is the procedure to make one page? Is there a lot of writing and sketching? Or is there any secret method to your drawing? You don’t have to answer this if you don’t want to. I’m just really amazed by how constant your posts are, they never disappoint in making my day better whenever I see them.

There is some writing, I usually write the dialogue first so I know how many panels I'll need for the scene. I write my scripts on leftover cash receipts ;)

About the drawing itself...I wish there was this super awesome secret method, but there really is not. I draw the sketch first...

then flat colours,

and finally shading and backgrounds

I'm probably going to receive a ton of hate mail from comic artists who actually know how things should REALLY be done x'D

The more panels and characters, the longer the page takes. While I do enjoy making longer pages and get people enjoy them more as well, I'll need to balance the consumed time with shorter ones with less characters.

I prefer staying ahead of the schedule (you can see all the posts have been finished like 2 months before posting) because I am genuinely terrified of having to one day make an announcement that says "Sorry, the page is still in the making". I broke my right pinkie less than 2 years ago and drawing was VERY slow back then, but since I had plenty of finished pages in stock no one knew about it ;)

Soooo yeah, that's pretty much it. That's how I do it, not sure if it's anything special compared to how others are drawing their comics.

Thank you so very much for your message and feedback, it truly makes it all worth it to know people like what I'm creating. Also that they appreciate the consistency, that's a very important thing for me as well.

I hope you'll enjoy the story in the future as well, especially when we have our beloved chaotic mother-in-law in the game again ;)
