Twitter (and the world as a whole) is an absolute shit show, but I will take comfort in the little things, like Guillermo del Toro retweeting a Hamish Linklater/Father Paul appreciation post in the year of our Lord 2023.
(I will link to his profile because I don't think I can link directly to the retweet. But it is there, it is legit.)
This. This line. The fact that Outis chimes in to correct Don is so damn good I doubt I'll replace Lantern Don on the main menu any time soon. It makes me smile so much, and for that same reason I also have Boolet Outis on the menu. I need to see the two of them bicker more.
Do you think the Exiled Queen ending implies that Sans and Toriel are in a relationship? Sans calls her "roommate" but the Ruins' rooms have one bed each, meaning they sleep together in the same bed. Maybe is the terminal Soriel brain I dunno lol
as much as i love exiled queen ending soriel with the passion of christ himself, i always assumed toriel just... finished fixing up that "room under renovations" next to her own, and that's where sans puts his stuff. they don't have to Literally share the same room to be roommates lol. so, as far as authorial intent is concerned, I don't think soriel is canon canon in that ending.
if EYE were in charge of course the room wouldn't be ready to use from day one, so they have to share in the meantime, and when the renovations are finally done (they take longer than expected, wonder why) they meet each other halfway through the hallway because they didn't feel like being alone again :]
I wish I had a scary guard dog type of sub that I could take with me on night walks. I’d reward and praise them generously for being such a good, helpful pup.
i was supposed to add Firefly (HSR) and Sinclair (Limbus Company) to this but it was 12 am and I was too tired to render their detailed ass designs 💔 but here’s the sketches of em
I'm really hoping the Rich People Environment of Canto 6 is good for the Heathcliff/Hong Lu dynamic. Not even in a shippy sort of way, they're positioned pretty dynamically as opposites (Heathcliff is from the Backstreets brought to riches, is intensely cynical, is foul mouthed as hell, and is driven primarily by negative impulses like anger, spite and envy, Hong Lu was born rich, is hopelessly naive, never seems to swear harder than a 'golly' or 'gosh', and moves through the world with a constant state of wonder and optimism). It'd be interesting to see if Hong Lu gets some interesting pieces of development inside Wuthering Heights itself.
