Mehn... my brain doesn't know how to rest sha... I took the pressure of publishing #TheMarriageABCs #ebook this Christmas (procrastination or just good sense?), but now my mind wants to get lost in another world 😃 I've read two books since I finished work on #TheAtheist. They were both fictional. One by my fave, @thefertilechickwriter, and another by @kirutaye (my first by her!) Also still reading #YuvalNoahHarari's #Sapiens. More than halfway now, but unlikely to complete before the new year. I didn't know I could consume so much! I was never much of a reader, but I'm reading to get better at #writing and to gain more knowledge and insight. Anyway, so I've got three stories to continue, #ASmallWorld, #TheNaiveWife and #TheHouseGirl! I also got an idea for a new story altogether... I feel like continuing #TheNaiveWife, cos I think if I write something else in between, I might lose the nerve on that one 😅. But, I am also keen on getting into my new #story idea and leaving these follow up stories for next year... Maybe I should just learn how to rest and not feel guilty... Her mother snatches the paper from her hands and slams it back into mine, fury on her face.  “You should be ashamed of yourself!”  Just as quickly, she drags her child away from me. Undeterred, I continue to hand out my pamphlets, stopping to talk to anyone that will bother to stop to enquire as to its contents.  It’s been my practice for the last three months.  I just have this burning desire to see as many people saved from their sins as I can.  It hasn’t been easy though.  It’s a tough crowd out there, even though I thought being a former Atheist would make me more understanding and resilient in my efforts. “The Kingdom of God is at hand,” I say to a passing priest. He takes the pamphlet from me and pauses to look at me and the pamphlet.  “Which Church do you go to?” he asks. My third grade Religious Studies teacher was such a contradiction.  She was the least pious or humble person you'd ever meet.  Even as children we could tell that she didn't quite agree with herself.  I guess it made it harder for her to teach us about religion. "It doesn't make sense, ma...  That's all I'm saying." That was my friend, Robert.  He was the leader of the cool kids, and I was fortunate to be counted among them.  He was quite outspoken and called bullshit on a lot of Mrs Brian's teachings.  He was actually the one who got me thinking that I shouldn't believe everything I was being taught about anything.  I had much respect for him and his opinions. "What doesn't make sense?" Mrs Brian replied, clearly irritated. "This two by two of every creature in the ark.  Do you know how many different species of animals there are?  And even the sizes?  And how did they even survive six months in that ark without eating each other?!  It's just so...dumb!" To that, a chorus of laughter erupted through the classroom, with a few of the cool kids and wannabes rising to give Robert high fives... #TheNaiveWife #RachelsChoice is my 11th #paperback, but 22nd #booktitle! I have 11 titles that are still #ebook only. I hope to have 24 titles by year end, as I complete work on two #books that have been a long time in coming. The first is #TheAtheist, a fictional story about a staunch Atheist, who is confronted by God. I've only written a few chapters of this, and I'm always getting sidetracked by the new #romantic story idea! I plan on sharing the #series on my #blog, while still #writing and not knowing the end!!! Something I haven't done since 2016, when I started writing #storyseries. It's a #free one and the first episode should be released on Saturday, 5th October. The second is #TheMarriageABCs. I'm finally getting down to #editing and converting this #marriageseries into a book.
