Y/n was excited to take Professor Crewel's Portionology class. She couldn't wait to learn about the intricacies of potion-making. As the students filed into the classroom, Professor Crewel began assigning partners for the day's potion-making experiment. Y/n held her breath as she waited for her partner to be called.
"Y/n, you will be working with Sebek," Professor Crewel announced. Sebek's face twisted in displeasure.
"I HAVE TO WORK WITH A HUMAN?!" Sebek said, his voice shouting and dripping with disdain.
Y/n tried to hide her disappointment as she made her way over to Sebek's desk. "Um, hi Sebek," she said nervously.
"Don't waste my time," Sebek said, waving his hand dismissively. "Just do what I say and stay out of my way."
Y/n felt a pang of hurt, but she tried to focus on the task at hand. They were supposed to make a potion to increase strength. Sebek began barking orders at her, and Y/n did her best to follow his instructions. But Sebek seemed more interested in telling her why Fae are so important  than working together.
Suddenly, the potion went wrong. Smoke billowed out of the cauldron and right into Sebek's face. He stumbled back, coughing and sputtering.
"Are you okay?" Y/n asked, concerned.
Sebek tried to brush her off, insisting he was fine. Crewel came over to check on him, but he didn't find anything out of the ordinary. The lesson continued, and they moved on to other classes. But as the day wore on, Sebek began to feel strange. He was sweaty and light-headed. He could feel his body changing.
Panicked, he ran to his room, hoping to sleep it off. But when he woke up, he realized that his body had transformed into that of a woman.
"What is happening to me?" he muttered to himself.
Desperate for help, he remembered Y/n. She was the only other woman in Night Raven College. He made his way to her room, hoping she could offer some advice.
"Y/n, it's Sebek," he said, his voice now high-pitched and feminine.
Y/n gasped in surprise. "What happened to you?" she asked.
"I don't know, but I need your help," Sebek said, his voice cracking.
Y/n tried to keep a straight face, but she couldn't help but find the situation a little amusing. "Okay, let me see what I can do," she said, ushering Sebek into her room.
After examining Sebek, Y/n realized that there was nothing she could do to reverse the transformation.
Y/n quickly offers to lend Sebek some of her clothes and helps him change. As they head to Professor Crewel's office, Sebek's panic is palpable.
"What am I supposed to do now? A woman can't be a knight for Malleus! I can't go out like this!" Sebek exclaimed, his voice cracking with anxiety.
Y/n scolded Sebek, "What do you mean a woman can't be a knight? That's ridiculous! Gender shouldn't matter in pursuing your dreams."
Sebek looked at Y/n, surprised by her sudden outburst. "But, how can I possibly become a knight in this form? I don't know how to fight like a woman and worse, a Human!."
Y/n rolled her eyes, "Firstly, not all women fight the same way. Secondly, you can learn. And thirdly, it's not about the physical form, it's about the spirit and the heart that makes a true knight."
Sebek looked down, feeling ashamed of his previous thoughts. "I'm sorry, Y/n. You're right. I shouldn't have been so closed-minded."
Y/n smiled, "It's okay, Sebek. I understand that it's difficult for you to adapt to this new body, but we'll figure it out together.
They finally reach Professor Crewel's office, where the professor greets them with a frown. "I'm sorry, but there is no known cure for this type of potion. It will simply have to wear off on its own. It could take up to a week."
Sebek's face falls, and he slumps down into a nearby chair. "A week? I can't wait a whole week like this!"
Y/n thinks for a moment before speaking up. "Maybe there's a way to disguise yourself until the potion wears off. Like a spell or a charm."
Professor Crewel shakes his head. "I'm afraid not. The potion has already affected your physical body. Any disguises or charms would be temporary at best and could have negative side effects."
Sebek looks up at y/n, desperation etched on his face. "What am I going to do? I can't let Malleus see me like this."
Y/n puts a comforting hand on his arm. "We'll figure something out, Sebek. We'll think of a solution." And in the meantime, you can sleep in the spare room in my dorm so that Malleus and Lilia don't find out."
Sebek was hesitant at first but eventually accepted Y/n's offer. The first few nights were rough for Sebek, as he struggled to adjust to his new body. Y/n helped him pick out clothes that fit, and she even showed him how to tie his hair up into a ponytail.
Sebek stared at his reflection in the mirror, frustration etched on his face. He tried flexing his muscles, but they weren't responding properly. His hair was a mess, his chest felt heavy, and he couldn't get a grip on his balance. He had been trying to help Y/N with the dorm repairs, but he kept fumbling and knocking things over. It was so unlike him, and it only added to his annoyance.
Y/N noticed Sebek's struggle and walked over to him. "Hey, are you okay? You seem really frustrated."
Sebek let out a sigh. "I JUST HATE THIS!. Everything feels off, and I keep messing things up!."
Y/N placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "It's okay, Sebek. Your body has been through a lot of changes. It'll take some time to adjust."
Sebek shook his head, feeling defeated. "But I can't even help you properly. I feel useless. How can I protect Lord Malleus like this??"
Y/N gave him a reassuring smile. "You're not useless, Sebek. You've been helping me a lot these past few days. And besides, you don't have to do everything by yourself. We're a team."
Sebek nodded, feeling a little better. He watched as Y/N went back to work, determined to finish everything before the day was over. He decided to try and help her again, this time focusing on keeping his balance and controlling his movements. It was difficult, but he was slowly getting the hang of it.
As the week went by, Sebek continued to help Y/N with the repairs and chores around the dorm. He noticed how hard she was working to keep everything together, even without magic. He couldn't help but feel a newfound respect and admiration for her.
One day, Sebek woke up feeling different. He opened his eyes and felt his body shift back to its original form. He let out a yell of relief and smiled, happy to finally be back to normal.
But as he looked around his room, he couldn't shake the feeling of frustration and embarrassment that had been haunting him for the past week. He had been unable to do anything without struggling or feeling awkward in his transformed body. Meanwhile, Y/n had been working hard and taking care of everyone without a single complaint.
He got dressed and went to find Y/N, eager to thank her for all her hard work. He found her in the common room, poring over a pile of books and notes.
"Y/N, I'm back!" Sebek exclaimed, feeling grateful and excited to see her.
Y/N looked up, surprised to see Sebek standing there. She jumped up from her seat, a smile spreading across her face. "Sebek! You're back!"
Sebek nodded, feeling a little emotional. "Thanks to you. I couldn't have made it through this without your help."
Y/N waved it off, blushing. "It was nothing. I just did what anyone would do."
"By the thorns of Briar Valley, That's why I find myself inexplicably drawn to you, Y/n!" Sebek blurted out, his voice echoing through the room.
Sebek's heart pounded in his chest as he looked at Y/n, his eyes wide with surprise. It wasn't intentional, it just slipped out without warning.
Y/n's eyes widened in astonishment, caught off guard by Sebek's sudden confession.Time seemed to stand still as the weight of Sebek's confession hung in the air. The room felt charged with tension and anticipation.
Sebek's mind raced, regret coursing through his veins. He didn't mean to put Y/n on the spot like this. He was supposed to keep his feelings hidden, buried deep within himself. But now they were out in the open, vulnerable and raw.
Before Y/n could gather her thoughts and respond, Sebek's face flushed with embarrassment, and he turned abruptly, rushing out of the room and back to his own dorm.
Confusion and shock swirled in Y/n's mind as she watched Sebek disappear, leaving her speechless. She hadn't expected such an unexpected declaration from him, especially considering his blunt and often rude manner of expression.
Sebek ran away from y/n's dorm in a panic, still reeling from his accidental confession of his feelings towards her. He ran back to his own dorm, feeling embarrassed and confused. When he arrived, he found Lilia sitting in the common room, looking amused, a mischievous glint in his eye.
"Sebek, my dear boy, I heard you had quite the adventure this past week," Lilia said, a sly grin on his face.
Sebek felt his cheeks flush with embarrassment once again. "Yes, Master Lilia. I...I was turned into a woman and had to stay in Y/n's dorm."
Lilia chuckled. "Oh, I knew all about that, Sebek. "I had no idea you were such a pretty lady," Lilia teased, "Maybe you should consider switching sides and becoming a Knight for the ladies."
Sebek groaned, "Please, don't make this any worse."
Lilia chuckled, "Alright, alright. But it seems like you've learned a valuable lesson about empathy and the struggles that others face."
Sebek hung his head in shame. "Yes, Master Lilia. I...I never realized how hard Y/n was working until I was in her shoes. I feel so embarrassed that I couldn't even function properly in my own body."
Lilia placed a comforting hand on Sebek's shoulder. "Don't be too hard on yourself, Sebek. You've learned an important lesson, and now it's up to you to put it into practice.
Sebek hangs his head, feeling humiliated. "And I messed up, Master Lilia," he says. "I said something I shouldn't have to Y/n."
Lilia raises an eyebrow. "Oh really? And what was that?"
Sebek hesitates, not wanting to reveal too much. But Lilia sees the worry on his face and pats the seat next to him, motioning for him to sit down.
"Come now, Sebek. You can tell me. I won't judge you."
With a heavy sigh, Sebek tells Lilia everything that happened - how he accidentally confessed his feelings to Y/n and then ran away in a panic.
Lilia listens patiently, his mischievous grin never leaving his face. When Sebek is finished, Lilia puts a hand on his shoulder.
"Well, it seems to me that you have two choices, my dear Sebek," Lilia says. "You can either run away from your feelings forever, or you can face them head-on."
Sebek looks up at Lilia, confused. "What do you mean?"
Lilia leans in closer, his tone serious. "I mean that you should tell Y/n how you feel. You obviously care for her deeply, so why not be honest with her?"
Sebek looks down at his hands, unsure of what to do. But Lilia's words ring true in his ears, and he knows deep down that he can't keep running away from his feelings forever.
The next day, Sebek and y/n found themselves in another potionology class with Crewel. Crewel stood before the class and announced that they would be partnering up again for the day's lesson. Sebek and y/n were paired up once more. Y/n is nervous, still reeling from when Sebek suddenly runs away.
But when Sebek sees her, he can't help but feel a rush of affection. He walks over to her, determination in his eyes.
"Y/n, I'm sorry for how I acted yesterday," he says, his voice gentle. "I know I scared you, but I promise I won't run away again.
Y/n smiled at Sebek and placed a hand on his arm. "It's okay, Sebek. I understand that it was a lot to process.
Sebek looked up at y/n and saw the kindness and understanding in her eyes. He felt a rush of affection for her and blurted out, "I want to be your knight, whether I'm a man or a woman."
Y/n's eyes widened in surprise, but then she leaned in and gave Sebek a small peck on his cheek. "You already are," she said softly.
