INTRODUCTION @@

For the past 10+ years, I am actively involved in University Level teaching of Undergraduate courses which starts from basic courses at freshman years to advance courses in senior years. I am lucky that I live my passion through teaching, research and motivating as well as mentoring students. As an experienced educator, I have had chance to work in classes with different diversity and environment and have gained in-depth knowledge of accommodating different styles of learners and incorporating effective methods to meet students unique needs. As a teacher I strive to engage, challenge, and inspire growth in my students. I have found that the best way to learn fundamental concepts is to ask question related to it and apply them to problems that are important and relevant.

At Intel Corporation, I worked on high speed I/O design, simulation and performance analysis through Eye Margin evaluation. It is on next generation high speed link performance analysis which covers multi-disciplinary research topics and inter-communication among different functional units of Intel. Whereas at University of New Mexico, I worked on novel photonics techniques (i.e. photonic ring resonator, Grating Coupler, 1D photonic Crystal, power based Photonic sensing) for Integrated Photonics application as well as on novel A-ISFET based all electronic bio-sensing circuits and systems for DNA sequencing.

A-ISFET CHIP

My dissertation titled, “Avalanche ISFET Sensing Chip for DNA Sequencing” is involved with a multidisciplinary research initiative between Electrical and Computer Engineering and Bio-Engineering Department of UNM to propose and experimentally demonstrate a very novel and unique solution for very low cost next generation sequencing (NGS). The main objective of the research is to further fuel the “genomic revolution” by providing solution for the low cost DNA sequencing, which is a fundamental tool for biological science and aimed primarily at uncovering the genetic contributions to diseases. Conventional, Sanger Sequencing is relatively low-throughput and expensive; therefore, NGS technologies have replaced Sanger Sequencing for large, genome-scale, sequencing projects. NGS technologies provide low cost, rapid, and high-throughput DNA sequencing, and can be applied to sequence entire large genomes. In this dissertation, we propose and experimentally demonstrated a very lost cost, dense NGS technique, propose a novel readout technique, develop an analytical model of the sensitivity through comprehensive noise analysis of the A-ISFET sensor and model the breakdown behavior of the A-ISFET at avalanche operational region. Our initial measurements confirm that the sensitivity of A-ISFET, which is due to the device multiplication gain, is about 6 times more than the sensitivity of an ISFET in normal operation.

I am also very well versed with management and administrative work. I hold a professional MBA degree from top ranked and the oldest management school that is solely dedicated for training up best brain of Bangladesh; Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. My focus there was financial management as well as project/HR management. During my MBA study, they train me well with soft skills and different direct/indirect form of communication and reporting tricks and tips as well as presentation. I am well versed with administrative work such as planning, budgeting, directing, delegating etc. I am competent, organized and well versed on different management and technical skills to carry over any complex project in very effective and efficient way.

I have been working as a University Teacher for 10+ years. My daily life is teaching, researching, mentoring, inspiring and motivating. So, I have in depth idea about the issues that young community feels. The challenges that they face.

I want to contribute more for the community and aiming to be more useful for young community. Anyone is very warmly welcome to contact with me.
