To whoever might read this. I need you to go listen to 'That Unwanted Animal' and 'The Rockrose and the Thistle' by The Amazing Devil and think of Kaori!Kenjaku and Jin. It's so Itadori family-coded it's unbelievable. The overall eeriness striking the uncanny valley effect. The miscommunication. One partner being oblivious to the other one's condition and ignoring the issue. The marriage coming apart at the seems. The stitches getting mentioned. The metaphor of possession standing for wrestling one's inner demons and mental illness. The feeling of being watched by some haunting unwanted presence that you cannot shake. Another knitting round-up before the month ends. This time, I took out some projects that had seen absolutely no progress since before January - minus the thistle thorn cowl and stagecoach sweater, both which I finished! Dreamhouse blanket is also absent because I finished that square.
