Three Mages and a Margarita (The Guild Codex: Spellbound #1) by Annette Marie ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 Stars Read 2️⃣2️⃣ of 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣0️⃣ ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Review: This was the perfect book at the perfect time for me. I was just let go of a job and had been in a book slump for months so this was an instant read for me just from the description. I finished this book in 4 days I really enjoyed Tori’s character and tone throughout and her flirtmance with Aaron. I also love the whole guild concept and how close they are. I hope we get a lot more Ezra and Kai in the next book. This book reminds me of a combination of White Trash Zombie series by Diana Rowland and The Gentleman Bastard series by Scott Lynch, 2 of my favorite series. So I have high hopes for this series and world and have already picked up book 2. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Description: Broke, almost homeless, and recently fired. Those are my official reasons for answering a wanted ad for a skeevy-looking bartender gig. It went downhill the moment they asked me to do a trial shift instead of an interview—to see if I'd mesh with their "special" clientele. I think that part went great. Their customers were complete dickheads, and I was an ***hole right back. That's the definition of fitting in, right? I expected to get thrown out on my ***. Instead, they… offered me the job? It turns out this place isn't a bar. It's a guild. And the three cocky guys I drenched with a margarita during my trial? Yeah, they were mages. Either I'm exactly the kind of takes-no-*** bartender this guild needs, or there's a good reason no one else wants to work here. So what's a broke girl to do? Take the job, of course—with a pay raise. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ #books #book #mages #threemagesandamargarita #annettemarie @annettemarie.author #read #reading #audiobooks #audiobook #audible #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #urbanfantasy #urbanfantasybooks #fantasy #fantasybooks #bookrecommendations #bookreview #bookreviews (at Brooklyn, New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/CIH3dndAp8x/?igshid=8ovt45xxoss8

Audible thing... Looking for a book...
Okay, so thanks to War of the Spark: Ravnica, I finally broke down and got Audible. I was waiting for the book to arrive, and turned out that I could get it free on aubible (can’t remeber if it was free with the book or if it was free as a way to start me up on a free trial thing or whatever... likely that last one now that I write it out and read it on the screen, sounds about right)
Anywhoo... So, since starting I’ve listened to WAR (enjoyed the story despite issues, though I do think the dude could have done a better job with the read. appreciate the work, bro, but yeah...), Snagged ‘Three Mages and a Margarita by Annette Marie (neat story, though the second to last chapter kinda went a bit wonky. But yeah, I already got the second book, Dark Arts and a Daiquiri, dled and in the listening que) and nearly done with “Minimum Wage Magic” by Rachel Aaron (really neat world, story has been interesting so far, still got like around 2 hrs worth of story left though, so final thoughts pending)
Due to sales and what not, also got Black Crow, White Snow by Michael Livingston (it was one of those ‘originals’ that you get to pick 2 out of a selection of six each month, and this one is the only one that holds any interest for me at the moment in the current selection, so I guess one point is going to get wasted), and Nevermoor: The Trails of Morrigan Crow by Jessica Townsend.
Giving a quick look through things, there are a lot of stories that ping on my radar, trouble is, none of them are really really where I want to be.
Those of you that know me best know I love a story with a woman main character, and I adore various flavors of fanatasy...
Trouble is, the two I’ve already been working through make the lead feel like she is just behind everyone. Tori from Three Mages is a human totally surrounded at her new job by ‘Mythics’ and she has barely survived after a handful of serious attacks... I really hope she gets some skills soon, but given some of what I’ve seen in the reviews, though lacking spoilers, I’m getting the vibe that might not be. Opal from Minimum Wage is a touch better off, being a mage herself... but being totally crap at any magic besides straight up cudgles and raw blasts.... In a world that has rediscovered and is knee deep in all sorts of magics and talents.
I mean, don’t get me wrong, both mains are strong in their own ways, but in the consideration of the direct plot, they feel more like they are the side characters then the mains (Tori much more then Opal).
Not only that, but in both there is a clear and obvious love interest in that classic YA ‘teh hot guy’ trope. Don’t get me wrong, not against romance, and love me a hot guy just as much as a hot gal... But I do like a bit more variety in targets for the Lead to be Horny on Main for.
THE POINT:
So, basically here is the point of this silly post: I need some book suggestions. I do have a credit sitting there, waiting to be used. Right now without a good idea, I’m either going to use it on the third book in the “Guild Codex, Spellbound series (3mages and Darkarts), or checking onRachel Aaron’s previous work (the foreword for Minimum Wage stated that it takes place in the world set up by previous stories, but is stand alone)... But I hunger for something else. And it doesn’t help that the best tools Audible has for searching stories is genre and length... So...
Search Criteria: 1) MUST HAVE FEMALE LEAD 2) Fantasy (High Fantasy or Urban fantasy most perfered, but any will do) 3) Less ‘Court/Politics’, more adventure please 4) Either no romance or girlfriend (more Chandra/Nissa less Chandra/Gideon) 5) Main is powerful and competent in their own right (in context of the main plot)
I know I have some friends and followers that are well read, so I hope there is at least something close to what I’m looking for.
In any case, any suggestions are welcome. X3

So I’ve decided to start this thing I call, Weekly Recommendations, where once a week I will post either a single book or highlight a series I really enjoyed reading. I don’t think it's a surprise that The Guild Codex: Spellbound by Annette Marie is our first one.
I read all three of these books over the course of a week while I had time off due to a sudden snow storm.
Tumblr media
And now I am itching for more! I think anyone would enjoy Annette's witty and fun characters as well as her rich and magical world building skills. This is the first series I’ve read from her, but I’ve had her YA trilogy, The Red Winter Trilogy, on my shelf for some time. I think I should pick that up soon ;)

It's time for a margarita & book chat about Annette Marie's Guild Codex Spellbound! #bookrecommendation #books
Book Chat 10: Three Mages and a Margarita by Annette Marie Let’s just get this out of the way – not only did I start this one early, but I’ve also read further in the series. The only other Book Chat I’ve done that with this year is Leigh Bardugo’s Six of Crows. Spoiler alert: I’m now a fan of Annette Marie! Still though, we need to stick with the program and means starting with the book…

Demon Magic and a Martini Annette Marie (The Guild Codex: Spellbound #4) Published by: Dark Owl Fantasy Inc. Publication date: April 12th 2019 Genres: New Adult, Urban Fantasy
When I first landed a bartending job at the local guild, I didn’t know a thing about magic. These days, I’m practically an expert on the different magical classes, but there’s one nobody ever talks about: Demonica. Turns out they have a good reason for that. My guild is strictly hellion-free, because who wants to risk life and limb to control the biggest bullies on the mythic playground? Well, some people do, and now a demon has been loosed in the city. My three best friends are determined to slay it, but even badass combat mages are critically out-magicked. And that’s not all. The monster they’re tracking—it’s not hiding. It’s not fleeing. It’s not leaving a trail of corpses everywhere it goes. The demon is hunting too. And in a city full of mythics, it’s searching for deadlier prey. If we can’t unravel the demon’s sinister motivations, more innocent people will die, but finding the answers means digging into dark secrets … and learning truths I never wanted to know. — Note: The three mages are definitely sexy, but this series isn’t a reverse harem. It’s 100% fun, sassy, fast-paced urban fantasy. — THE GUILD CODEX: SPELLBOUND Three Mages and a Margarita (#1) Dark Arts and a Daiquiri (#2) Two Witches and a Whiskey (#3) Demon Magic and a Martini (#4)

EXCERPT:
“Speaking of worry …” Sin’s eyes narrowed. “I heard all about how you went demon hunting with Aaron, Kai, and Ezra. I have to ask … what the hell were any of you thinking?” “Um, well—” “You aren’t combat trained, and demons are the fiercest, deadliest opponents out there! Why would Darius even approve it? You’re all idiots.” I managed a bleak smile. “Thanks, Sin. Appreciate the vote of confidence.” She sniffed angrily. “You know you aren’t ready for that, and I’d really prefer my friend not get herself killed.” Couldn’t argue with her there. I’d also prefer not to get killed. Lifting the tattered book off her lap, she smacked it down on the bar. “We need to look at options.” “Uh … options for what?” “Defensive alchemy.” She cast me a flinty stare. “Since you’re all for the dangerous jobs now, you need to be armed with more than a couple of artifacts. I heard you used a smoke screen. What else did you take?” Bemusedly, I watched her flip the book open. “Just flash-bang potions. What is that thing?” “My grimoire. All Arcana mythics have one—where we record all the spells or transmutations we’ve learned or invented.” She turned several spotted, liquid-stained pages covered in handwriting and diagrams. “I can make smoke bombs and flash-bangs easily enough, but you need something to stop an opponent. Personally, I don’t like sleep potions. It’s easy to get it on your own skin and then you’re asleep instead of them.” “Yeah, that’d be bad.” She skimmed a few more pages. “Enhanced strength is useful, but it doesn’t last long, and unless you’re in excessively good shape, you’ll crash hard afterward. Let’s see … amnesia, no. Fasting potion, no. Enhanced speed, no.” “What’s wrong with speed? I’d like to be faster.” “It’s hopelessly impractical. Your body gets faster, but your reflexes don’t, so it’s difficult to control without training and practice. You’ll spend the potion’s duration tripping over your own feet and running into things.” “Oh.” Too bad. “What’s a fasting potion?” “Drink it and you won’t need food, water, or a bathroom for about forty-eight hours. Good for certain situations, but you pay for it afterward.” She perused more recipes. “Enhanced perception, air buffer, true sight, anti-emotionalizer, allure-fume—none of these are useful.” “Allure-fume?” I repeated. “What’s that?” She winced. “Uh, it’s a … um … perfume.” I stared at her pointedly, waiting for an explanation, and her cheeks turned pink. “A few drops on the skin will make the wearer especially alluring to the opposite sex. Like pheromones.” “Why do you know a potion like that?” “I tried it out when I was younger, okay?” she muttered defensively. “Lesson learned. You don’t have to lecture me.” “What happened?” “I wore it on a first date with this guy I really liked.” “Did it work?” “It worked on him, plus every male who got within twenty feet of me. I spent our entire dinner date pushing random men out of our booth. I’ve never been hit on so many times in one evening. Most of the men were twice my age and married.” Fighting back a snicker, I asked, “Did you go on a second date with your crush?” “No.” She hung her head over the grimoire. “An early sign that my love life was doomed.”

Author Bio: Annette Marie is the author of Amazon best-selling YA urban fantasy series Steel & Stone, its prequel trilogy Spell Weaver, and romantic fantasy trilogy Red Winter. Her first love is fantasy, but fast-paced adventures and tantalizing forbidden romances are her guilty pleasures. She lives in the frozen winter wasteland of Alberta, Canada (okay, it's not quite that bad) with her husband and their furry minion of darkness—sorry, cat—Caesar. Excerpt:
Six face-down cards were arranged in a circle. Sabrina gathered up the remaining deck and set it aside, then studied the six rectangles I’d selected.
“In this spread, we start with the card that represents your current situation.” She turned the top card, revealing a woman wearing a crown and holding a sword and a scale. “Justice. An ominous beginning ...”
Why was I not surprised that we were starting with bad news? “What does it mean?”
“You will need to make a decision soon—something that will irreversibly change your future. A choice you can’t come back from.”
Oh goody. Who didn’t love those kinds of decisions?
She touched the next card. “This one represents the cause of conflict.”
Flipping it, she frowned at the horned creature that dominated the card. A naked man and woman stood on either side of it, loose chains around their necks, the ends held by the beast.
My stomach sank to the floor. Under the illustration was the card’s name: The Devil. Sabrina tapped her cheek. “Hmm, not what I expected. Are you having issues with addiction,
Tori?”
“Uh, no.”
“What about a new obsession? An unusual fixation? Wanton temptation?”
“No, no, and no.”
She studied my face, then the card. “Could The Devil represent someone else in your life? Someone trapped by addiction or a compulsion of their own?”
The heavy weight dragging my innards to the earth’s core grew colder. I said nothing.
“Let’s see what the other cards reveal.” Her fingers nimbly turned the next one. The air rushed out of her lungs. “Oh.”
Even if her dismayed exhalation hadn’t been a dead giveaway, the card’s illustration was hardly inspiring: a heart impaled by three swords. How much did I want to bet the heart represented mine?
“The Three of Swords,” Sabrina whispered. “Heartbreak. Loss.” I pressed a hand to my hollow gut. “Is someone going to die?”
“Let’s keep going.” She hastily flipped over the next card, revealing a robed man holding a wand in the air. “The Magician! Yes, this is good. This means the loss you’re facing is within your control—you have the power to affect the outcome.”
That was encouraging, but also terrifying. “So, you’re saying ... I can maybe prevent someone from dying, then?”
She nodded and flipped over the second last card. “Oh, hmm. The Seven of Swords.”
“I got that card in my first reading. It meant ... betrayal? Because someone was deceiving me?”
“The Seven of Swords is the thief.” She pointed to the image of a man sneaking off with an armful of stolen weapons. “In this position in the spread, it speaks of you, not others. You are the thief.”
“I am not a—” I broke off, distracted by the thought of my Queen of Spades artifact. I had stolen that ... and my fall-spell crystal too.
“The thief keeps secrets and moves with stealth.” Sabrina considered the card. “Paired with the Magician, which is the power to enact your goals, this card is telling you how to reach the outcome you desire.”
“By stealing?”
She gave me a long look. “By embodying the virtues of the thief—caution, cunning, discretion, and deception.”
I wasn’t great at the first one, or the second, or ... well, any of those things. Lovely. I pointed at the last card. “That one is the outcome, right?”
Nodding, she touched two fingers to the back of the final card in the spread, then turned it over. A crumbling tower struck by lightning and lit by flames sparked recognition through me. I recognized it from my first reading.
“The Tower.” She sighed unhappily. “A foreboding omen. Chaos and upheaval are coming— soon. Even if you succeed, your life will irrevocably change.”
In the card’s illustration, a man and a woman had leaped from the burning tower and were plunging toward the dark abyss below. Gooseflesh erupted across my skin and I sucked in an unsteady breath. “Your cards never have anything good to say.”
She cleared her throat. “Well, I mean ... the Tower is also a card of redemption, so there’s that.”
“Oh, okay,” I replied sarcastically. “That makes it all better.”
Her gaze traveled across the spread, and she lightly touched the Devil card. “Do you know who the Devil represents?”
I studied the cards. The Devil holding a man and a woman in chains. A woman casting judgment. Two victims falling from a broken tower.
A heart pierced by three swords.
The tarot cards or the universe or whatever mystical force powered a diviner’s fortune telling was sending damn strong signals my way, and I could almost grasp it. The meaning hovered within reach—but the harder I focused on the elusive message, the higher my anxiety spiked.

Dark Arts and a Daiquiri (The Guild Codex: Spellbound #2)
By Annette Marie
Publication date: November 16th 2018 Genres: New Adult, Urban Fantasy
Synopsis:
When I found myself facing down the scariest black-magic felon in the city, practically daring him to abduct me, I had to wonder exactly how I ended up here.
It all started when I accidentally landed a job as a bartender—but not at a bar. At a guild, populated by mages, sorcerers, alchemists, witches, and psychics. Good thing this lame-o human is adaptable, right?
Then my favorite guild members—three sexy, powerful, and intermittently charming mages—asked for my help. Did they want access to my encyclopedic knowledge of cocktails? Oh no. They wanted to wrap me up in a pretty ribbon and plunk me in the crosshairs of a murderous rogue to lure him out of hiding.
So that’s what we did. And that’s why I’m here. About to be kidnapped. Oh, and our grand plan for safely capturing said murderous rogue? Yeah, that completely fell apart about two minutes ago.
Why did I agree to this again?
— Note: The three mages are definitely sexy, but this series isn’t a reverse harem. It’s 100% fun, sassy, fast-paced urban fantasy.
Tori has no problem getting herself into trouble in every book in the Guild Codex series, but each one is a complete adventure—no cliffhanger endings.

Excerpt:
I lifted my sunglasses to take in the chaos. The bar was normally tidy—because I kept it that way—and the dark wood walls and heavy beams in the ceiling gave it a Ye Old Pub feeling I enjoyed. But the dozen tables were scattered like litter in the wind and the chairs were even more haphazard, half of them lying on their sides.
“Aaaaroon!”
A woman with black braids tied into a high ponytail charged between two tables, chasing down her victim. Hands outstretched in placation, he retreated with stumbling steps. Inexplicably, he was soaking wet, his red hair plastered to his face.
“It was an honest mistake, Laetitia!” He knocked over another chair as he scrambled backward, tracking water everywhere. “I had no idea—”
“I posted on the board!” she shouted, advancing on him. “Three days, Aaron! Three days of precise planning that you ruined on a whim!”
“Well.” He halted, cocking his head. “Your plan didn’t work, but we still caught the guy, right?”
A pulse of silence ran through the room. The dozen other patrons, wisely lining the walls to stay out of the way, looked back and forth between the two mages like spectators at a tennis match. Muttering something about using the rear door instead, Sin turned on her heel and marched right back outside. Too bad I couldn’t follow suit.
Laetitia swelled with fury. “My plan would have worked if you hadn’t burst in throwing fireballs right when—”
“But we caught him, so does it really matter that—”
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
With a high-pitched sound like a kettle on the boil, she threw her hands up. The air around her blurred into mist. The condensation coalesced into a giant orb of shimmering water that she hurled at Aaron.
The magical water balloon slammed into his chest. Liquid splashed across the floor and he fell into the bar, knocking over stools, more drenched than before.
“Oh, come on,” he complained loudly, wiping water off his face. “I said I was sorry!”
“You don’t know the meaning of the word,” she snarled, raising her hands again. Mist formed into another water orb.
Okay, I’d seen enough. I pushed my shoulders back, lifted my chin, and bellowed, “What the hell are you doing to my bar?”
All eyes turned to me. Laetitia hesitated, water swirling around her hands.
Aaron cringed. “Oh, uh ... Tori. Is it four o’clock already?”
I marched across the floor, my ponytail bouncing with each step. “What is this? If you’re going to have a water fight, take it outside!” Halting in front of Laetitia and Aaron, I folded my arms and glowered. “Do you expect me to clean up this bullshit mess on top of my bar prep?”
Laetitia lowered her hands, the liquid dissipating into a foggy cloud. “I’ll clean up the water.”
She waved at the nearest puddles. The water flew into the air and gathered into an expanding liquid orb between her palms. As the final droplets joined her super-orb, she raised it up, pivoted toward Aaron, and brought the whole thing down on his head like she was slam-dunking a basketball.
Water flew everywhere, but not a single speck touched the floor. It evaporated into a fine mist that dispersed in seconds. Smirking, Laetitia sauntered away, leaving Aaron with liquid streaming off his clothes and puddling around his feet.
Muttering under his breath, he straightened his sopping shirt. The white fabric clung to his toned chest and droplets ran enticingly down his biceps and hard forearms. As my attention wandered, I reminded myself that I was angry with him.
“Hey, Tori.” He pushed his red hair off his forehead and gave me his most charming smile, as though a water mage assaulting him was no big deal. “How did apartment hunting go today?”
“Don’t ‘hey, Tori’ me,” I said firmly, immune to his charisma—or close enough to fake it. “Get cleaning!”
“Eh?”
I pointed behind me. “Everything you knocked around. Fix it.”

Three Mages and a Margarita (The Guild Codex: Spellbound #1)
By Annette Marie
Publication date: September 14th 2018  Genres: New Adult, Urban Fantasy
Synopsis:
Broke, almost homeless, and recently fired. Those are my official reasons for answering a wanted ad for a skeevy-looking bartender gig.
It went downhill the moment they asked me to do a trial shift instead of an interview—to see if I’d mesh with their “special” clientele. I think that part went great. Their customers were complete dickheads, and I was an asshole right back. That’s the definition of fitting in, right?
I expected to get thrown out on my ass. Instead, they…offered me the job?
It turns out this place isn’t a bar. It’s a guild. And the three cocky guys I drenched with a margarita during my trial? Yeah, they were mages. Either I’m exactly the kind of takes-no-shit bartender this guild needs, or there’s a good reason no one else wants to work here.
So what’s a broke girl to do? Take the job, of course—with a pay raise.
— Note: The three mages are definitely sexy, but this series isn’t a reverse harem. It’s 100% fun, sassy, fast-paced urban fantasy.

Excerpt:
When I gazed vacantly at her, Clara visibly paled. “Tori, what’s your class?” “My class?”
She pressed her hands to the bar top, eyes wide. “Your class, what is it?” “You mean at the community college? I’m taking—”
“No, your mythic class!” She shoved my card under my nose, even more frantic. “Why doesn’t your license have a mythic identification number? You’re registered, aren’t you?”
“Registered for what? Clara, I don’t have a clue what you’re talking about.”
“Oh my god.” Panic flashed in her eyes. “I don’t believe it. You’re human.”
I blinked again. Squinted. Rubbed one ear like I might have misheard. “Beg your pardon?”
Clara dropped my ID on the bar and hid her face behind her hands. “Darius is going to kill me. Why didn’t I check your ID last night? I’m an idiot.”
“Clara,” I said, alarmed and confused in equal measure. “I swear it’s a real ID. I’m twenty-one, old enough to bartend, and—”
“That’s not the problem,” she moaned. “How did you even find out about this place? I never should have—but you were perfect. You weren’t scared of anyone—not even Aaron! I thought you were some badass mythic who wanted to bartend, but you—”
“Get over yourself, Aaron.” Kai’s angry voice rose over Clara’s. “We’re not doing this your way—not again. Your plans always end in fireballs and explosions.”
Fireballs? Explosions? I glanced at them as Aaron snapped, “What’s wrong with that?”
“Tori.” Clara’s panicked tone drew my attention back to her as Kai and Aaron continued to argue. “Last night, did you see anything?”
“Huh?”
“Did you see anything ... unusual?”
“Did I see anything unusual?” I repeated blankly. “Like what?”
“Say that again,” Aaron shouted furiously, “and I’ll toast your pale ass to a healthy crisp!”
His hand shot into the air—and fire burst from his fingers. The red flames danced across his skin, sparks raining down on the table. Curling his hand into a fist, he cocked his arm back, aiming for Kai.
“Aaron!” Clara shrieked. “Put your fire away!”
He froze in mid-motion, his fist still blazing. “Clara? What’s wrong?”
“Put it out!” she yelled, her voice high with panic. “Now!”
He flicked his fingers open and the flames vanished. “Jeez, don’t get your panties in a twist. I wasn’t actually going to roast him.”
“Just—just shut up for once in your life, Aaron!” Clara pressed her hands to her head like she was trying to squeeze her brain. “This is already bad enough.”
“What’s bad?” He pushed back from the table and strode over, Kai and Ezra on his heels. “What’s going on?”
I didn’t move, my eyes fixed on his hand—his hand that had been engulfed in flames. Did that count as unusual?
“I screwed up,” Clara groaned, covering her face again like she couldn’t stand to see me. “I didn’t check her ID yesterday.”
Aaron slid my driver’s license off the bar top and read it. “Victoria Dawson? Your name is Victoria?” I shook off my shock to scowl at his sniggering tone.
Kai plucked the card out of Aaron’s hand. “There’s no MID number.”
“Is it a fake ID?” Aaron asked with amusement. “Did you hire a rogue, Clara?”
“Worse,” Clara whispered. “She’s human.”
The three guys stared at me, and I stared back without the slightest idea what the hell anyone was talking about. But more important than the incomprehensible conversation was the fact Aaron’s hand had been on fire, and I couldn’t figure out how it could possibly have been a trick.
“No way,” Aaron finally said. “What’s your class, Tori?” I pointed at his hand. “Was that real fire?”
“Oh, shit,” Kai muttered.

Three Mages and a Margarita & Dark Arts and a Daiquiri (The Guild Codex: Spellbound #1 & 2)
By Annette Marie
Published by: Dark Owl Fantasy Inc. Genres: New Adult, Urban Fantasy
Synopsis:
Three Mages and a Margarita (Book #1):
Broke, almost homeless, and recently fired. Those are my official reasons for answering a wanted ad for a skeevy-looking bartender gig.
It went downhill the moment they asked me to do a trial shift instead of an interview—to see if I’d mesh with their “special” clientele. I think that part went great. Their customers were complete dickheads, and I was an asshole right back. That’s the definition of fitting in, right?
I expected to get thrown out on my ass. Instead, they...offered me the job?
It turns out this place isn’t a bar. It’s a guild. And the three cocky guys I drenched with a margarita during my trial? Yeah, they were mages. Either I’m exactly the kind of takes-no-shit bartender this guild needs, or there's a good reason no one else wants to work here.
So what’s a broke girl to do? Take the job, of course—with a pay raise
Note: The three mages are definitely sexy, but this series isn’t a reverse harem. It’s 100% fun, sassy, fast- paced urban fantasy.
