Wordgirl fandom there is a lack of my boys, so I thought. Hey I make a lot of AUs about Wordgirl ships what about this one? I am the CEO of Tjohnson after all. So here is one, Tj x Johnson enemies to lovers AU focused in the gayest sport baseball…called HOMERUN AU.

Basic premise: Instead of being childhood friends connected through the Wordgirl fan club, it follows teen TJ and Johnson being rivals of opposing baseball teams for their schools. They’ve met before in middle school and have a grudge. Johnson is different since he never got a friend like TJ early on, instead being a more distant cold loner, his only person being his neighbor Violet. They both are both incredible players in baseball and yes this is all based (hehe) on that scene from home run king. They “hate” each other but maybe if they got closer they would discover they got a lot in common. Like how they idolize local vigilante Wordgirl (she’s not alien in this AU, just a normal young adult who often gets unwarranted bad press and is rumored to date genius robot inventor Tobey).

Cindy and Jim walked into their kids playroom seeing their twins playing with their mini sticks together as always.

“My sun and moon.” Cindy softly called out making her three year old twins stop playing and look over at their parents.

The day the twins were born they were completely opposite, Rutger came out happily gurgling and Reagan grumbling with a scowl on her tiny little face. Rutger with his bright blond hair and Reagan with her dark jet brown hair. They truly were the sun and the moon.

Cindy and Jim sat on the couch in the playroom and Cindy patted the spot between her and her husband for her twins to join them.

Rutger took Reagan’s mini stick and dropped it on the floor with his own and then Reagan grabbed his hand before they walked over to their parents and climbed onto the couch together.

“We know you two have been asking to play hockey with kids your age.” Jim started the talk to his twins.

The twins have been utterly obsessed with Hockey since before they could even stand and it was no surprise when they went to the rink with their dad they kept trying to get on the ice and play.

The twins figured out they could play on a team with other kids their age and have not stopped asking.

“We will sign you up and Rut you would start the week before with your team and Rea you would join your team the week after.” Cindy softly finished explaining to her twins brushing both of their messy hair off their foreheads

“No.” Reagan grumbled crossing her arms while still holding her twins hand, she glared at her mother, “Same team.” Reagan understood her parents would have them on different teams.

Rutger gasped looking panicked clinging onto his sister tighter, “Same team!” Rutger sounded extremely panicked at the idea they wouldn’t be on the same team.

Cindy and Jim shared a look having a feeling this would be a problem, they knew how hard it is to try and separate the twins.

“Loves there is a girl and a boy team you can’t play together.” Cindy gently explained hating that she had to say they couldn’t play together because boys and girls don’t usually do that.

“No.” Reagan shook her head stubbornly, “I play with Rut.” Reagan tipped up her chin stubbornly staring at both of her parents.

Cindy and Jim shared another look knowing it is rare for a girl to play with boys but it does happen and they knew their daughter would not stop until she played with her twin, she’s their stubbornness kid but they wouldn’t have it any other way.

Cindy and Jim knew out of anyone who could handle the weight that comes with playing on the opposite gender team would he Reagan, she may only be three now but they knew their daughter was going to accomplish many incredible things.

“Okay Rea you can play with Rut.” Jim told them.

Rutger cheered, “Yay Reaggie.” Rutger was beaming as he wrapped his other arm around his twin smushing her into a hug.

Reagan easily leaned into her twin’s embrace a small pleased smile on her tiny face.

Reagan would never play on a girls team and would continue to play on a boy’s team to be able to play with her twin brother.
