A ship meme I did for Tofficore a while back. It was intended for my RP page but this ship is also canon in my AU so I thought I’d post it here! Explanations under the cut. 

How It Happens: I headcanon that the two have known each other since childhood it’s slow burn Rasticore is Toffee’s bodyguard and they spar regularly. Rasticore tries to get closer and probably falls right away (who wouldn’t tbh) Toffee keeps back flipping away from his feelings until a moment of urgency.  Showing Affection: in my mind Rasticore is obviously the more PDA centric guy whether it’s cuddling or showering the other in compliments. Toffee doesn’t know how to approach this and isn’t that good at voicing what he needs. 

Handling Conflict: Rasticore starts 90% of the fights over dumb shit but apologizes right away. Toffee doesn’t get very aggressive about it, unless it’s very serious which most of the time it isn’t. 

Dealing With Jealousy: Rasticore is easily jealous and his feelings get hurt easily. Toffee doesn’t get jealous but still needs attention but still isn’t good at voicing this. 

Relationship Attitude: Rasticore again, super PDA whenever he gets the chance probably picks Toffee up and hugs him. Toffee is dedicated but still doesn’t get the PDA thing he’ll hold hands in public that’s it. 

Attachment: They’re both overprotective of each other seeing as they fought along side each other and have known each other for at least 300 years. Rasticore is violently overprotective but knows Toffee can hold his own.  Toffee gets bad separation anxiety and just wants Rasticore to be near him. 

First To Confess: It was actually Toffee but Rasticore didn’t get it and Rasticore had to go “Oh you like me?” “Yes, for the past 300 years” 

First To Apologize After A Fight: Rasticore because again, he starts a lot of them. The Most Popular/Charismatic: it’s Toffee he has political influence and has led armies everyone knows it’s Toffee.  The Best Caregiver: Also Toffee mostly since Rasticore gets himself hurt a lot and Toffee takes care of him while he’s regenerating. Rasticore would do the same but he’d have an anxiety attack through the whole thing.  Does The Cooking/Housework: SURPRISE! it’s Toffee. Rasticore is very big and messy but he sometimes helps with the dishes. Good thing Toffee is the only one that really needs laundry (put on a shirt Rasticore) 

Does Most Of The Speaking: in terms of talking to other people and being sociable it’s Rasticore. When it’s political and debating over something it’s Toffee.  The Designated Driver: more like designated Scissor handler it’s Toffee for obvious reasons 

Has Good Penmenship : it’s Toffee Rasticore never really learned to write well.  Has More Experience In Relationships: I like to think Rasticore more than Toffee since he seems like the type to flirt around while Toffee is a more goal oriented guy but both.  Sensitive To Subtle Changes In Their Partner: it’s Toffee, he’ll immediately think he did something wrong and over analyze everything he did in the last week.  

The One Who Proposes: They propose around the same time but Rasticore finds about Toffee is planning on doing it and does it first.

I went to see a movie with my mom and there was this gag and all I could think about was Toffee dealing with his helpers. The poor man, his higher than average iq is a blessing and a curse
