Hatena Illusion is an anime adaptation of the manga series written by Tomohiro Matsu. Romantic comedy anime is also one of Funimation‘s licensed anime. The anime series, created by Children’s Playground Entertainment, originally started on BS NTV, MBS, Tokyo MX channels on January 9, 2020. The anime, directed by Shin Matsuo, aired 12 episodes in total and made the season finale with the episode aired on June 3, 2020. While Hatena welcomes Makoto’s arrival, the two are not getting along as well as before.Will there be a second season of the anime?The anime has not yet been renewed for a second season by Funimation or by either the studio or producers. As we mentioned before, Hatena Illusion was an adaptation of the manga written by Tomohiro Matsu. The manga was originally published on November 21, 2014, and has been published for a total of 1 year. The manga, which has four volumes in total, was completely adapted to the anime. The manga is not ongoing today, so it’s hard to see a new series season. However, such a thing may be possible if the script continues.The last episode of the series was postponed due to various reasons. When we look at the series’s reviews, it is one of the anime series that have been subjected to negative evaluations among the anime series published in 2020. It had potential, but the audience mostly couldn’t find what they wanted. The possibility of a second season of the series is not expected in terms of both popularity and source material.

Anime adaptation of Tomohiro Matsu’s “Märchen Mädchen” light novel series has been announced.

From Anime News Network: The novels center on Hazuki Kagimura, a normal girl who is usually alone. With her relationship with her new family not going so well, she retreats every day to the world of stories and books. One day, after school, one of the library's bookshelves sends her to another world with a magic school, where she meets Shizuka Tsuchimikado. She finds out that girls (called "mädchen") who attend the school are selected by old fairy tails and folk stories to wield their magic, and are taught how to wield it in the school. The school has girls who are chosen by such stories as Kaguya-hime no Monogatari, Issun-bōshi, Der Freischütz, Shuten-dōji, The Little Matchstick Girl, The Gigantic Turnip, Arthurian legends, and The Ramayana. Hazuki herself is chosen by the Cinderella story. She begins her new life at the school to become a magic user, and be friends with Shizuka.

Hatena☆Illusion TV Anime's Final Episode to Broadcast on June 3

  For everyone who has been waiting for the final episode of the magical TV anime adaptation of author Tomohiro Matsu's Hatena☆Illusion, the official Twitter account for the series announced on May 14 that episode 12 will broadcast on Japanese TV on June 3 on BS Nippon TV, with the Tokyo MX broadcast on June 5, and MBS following on June 8.

  The above Tweet apologized for the delay, citing "various reasons" for the postponement. The delay was announced on March 31 just before the broadcast of the final episode, with no news on the TV anime until now. Hatena☆Illusion was broadcasting on BS Nippon TV, MBS, and Tokyo MX every Thursday night in the winter 2020 anime season, with Funimation streaming the series and giving it a simuldub.

Takatoshi Nakamura, Kiyotsugu Yamagata's Märchen Mädchen Manga Ends

The June issue of Shueisha's Jump SQ. magazine published the final chapter of Takatoshi Nakamura (Densetsu no Yūsha no Konkatsu) and Kiyotsugu Yamagata's manga adaptation of late author Tomohiro Matsu and artist Kantoku's Märchen Mädchen light novel series on Wednesday. The manga's second and final compiled book volume is slated for June 4.

-Synopsis-

“When the two girls meet, magic begins. Hazuki Kagimura loves stories, an orthodox girl who is overly imaginative. Because her relationship with her new family does not go well, the environment sends her toward the stories in which she spends her days. One day after school, Hazuki gets lost among the bookcases of the library, leading her to a mysterious school where meets Shizuka Tsuchimikado. It is a magic school where girls (called "mädchen") are selected by the magical texts from which the world's stories are born. Hazuki herself is said to be chosen by the book of Cinderella. In order to become a true magician, Hazuki becomes friends with Shizuka and begins her new life at the school.”

Listen to Chinese Cosplayer Liyuu's Cute Singing Voice in TV Anime Hatena☆Illusion OP Song MV

    Lantis' official YouTube channel has started streaming a 100-second music video for Chinese cosplayer Liyuu's singer debut song "Magic Words" to be released on January 22, 2020. The cute tune will be used as the OP theme for the long-awaited TV anime adaptation of the late Tomohiro Matsu (Listen to Me, Girls. I Am Your Father!)'s unfinished romantic comedy light novel series Hatena☆Illusion, for which she has also served as its official cosplayer.

  Liyuu is a Shanghai-born copsplayr who has become popular through her activities on social media and has attracted over 1.5 million followers in total. Because of her love for Japanese anime, she started her activities in Japan. Along with her activities as a cosplayer, she has also introduced her singing voice online. She will finally make her professional anison singer debut next winter.
