Hello! I'd love for in the future to be another Toontober challenge. I would do the 2019 challenge, if you aren't able to create the daily card, if that makes sense. This looks so fun. I tried to do it and I overwhelmed myself (I was filming YouTube videos for Toontober). 😅

AW! Well, first of all, thank you for participating! It makes @triniitea and I happy to know people enjoyed it. We were of the mindset that it didnt matter if people did every day, as long as it got them to make something and have fun, if you did even just one day, then thats awesome!

Sad to say though, we are not going to be renewing it. Unfortunately a year after the first one, some other guy who runs an animation blog took the title and snatched up the name on every platform and started calling himself the 'official toontober' He claimed to be taking over it that year but never consulted triniitea or I about it. He had ties to a famous animator and was able to offer prizes and what not. A lot of people thought it was the real one though and it caused a lot of confusion. He also blocked us so there was no way to open a dialogue. We tried to keep up with our own and keep it being focused on classic/retro toons but kept getting drowned out and at some point we decided it wasnt worth keeping up with because we were already bogged down with work/school. I think the last year we did it some other person also made their own toontober and at that point it was just getting kinda laughable XD

I will say though! If anyone wants to do it and use some of the old cards we made, please feel free to go for it!

With this year being the 50th anniversary of the Haunted Mansion, this was a great excuse to draw fanart. It’s not exactly in the style of rubberhose animation, but I’m really pleased with the end result.

Toontober Day 6. Catch-phrase - I didn’t mean to… 
They really need to use Baby Doll again in more Batman Media. Her innocent appearance and mental stress from a medical condition beyond her control make a tragic but intriguing character. This scene really struck me. (In the heart 😭)

Toontober Day 21. Spell/Curse - Ivy Diamond’s Jinx From my All time Favorite Book, The Secret Order of the Gumm Street Girls. It’s an amazing story and SO underated. I highly recommend checking it out from you library or listening to the audio book!
