A hands-on Session on Material Science

IIC Cell, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organizing "A hands-on Session on Material Science" for the students of Mechanical Engineering under the CoESM(Centre of Excellence for smart Manufacturing) by Mr. Vishnu Kuntal (Assistant Professor) on 26th April, 2023. A detailed hands-on session was conducted where casting of different metallic part was manufactured using green molding technique. Initially, an in-depth explanation on green sand mounding, its tool, and procedure are explained to the students for better comprehending the concept of metal casting. Students gain practical knowledge on manufacturing technology especially on metal casting and its significance to the present manufacturing scenario.
