CV4. VICTOR
With blue eyes framed by thick brows and a golden sun pendant forever resting against his chest, Victor bore a smile reminiscent of his mother. Raised by his father, Nasul, life was a relentless struggle. Victor toiled endlessly, yearning for his father's approval and the warmth of a mother who had vanished when he was just a boy.
Driven by longing, Victor trained relentlessly, developing strength beyond his years. His life took a drastic turn when Nasul delivered heart-wrenching news: their mother had passed, leaving behind a baby brother named Maurius. Victor, ever the devoted son, vowed to protect Maurius, the last thread connecting him to their mother.
No torment was too great for Victor; he stood as a fierce guardian. Mauritius, with his necklace—a small, radiant sun—was a symbol of hope. The weight of their shared grief forged an unbreakable bond.
His magic, a striking violet, shimmered with both elegance and strength, capable of dismantling the darkest foes. At seventeen, Victor became a legend, feared throughout the dark empire. He was hailed as the heir, a beacon of light in a realm of shadows. But an unforeseen incident loomed, one that would irrevocably alter the course of his life, testing his resolve and the depth of his love for his brother.

Why Suryadatta Deserves as Best Hotel & Hospitality Management College in Pune

As someone who has been part of Pune's academic and hospitality education landscape for over 20 years, I’ve witnessed first-hand how this city has evolved into a thriving hub for aspiring professionals. Students today are not just looking for degrees—they seek institutions that offer practical experience, international exposure, and strong placement support. Among the many institutes I’ve observed and interacted with, one stands out consistently for its quality, values, and outcomes—Best Hotel & Hospitality Management College in Pune (SCHMTT).
How SCHMTT Stands Apart from Other Fashion Designing Institutes in Pune
While there are many institutions offering niche programs, Suryadatta’s unique strength lies in its comprehensive, hands-on curriculum that covers every dimension of the hospitality and tourism industry. From food production and front office operations to travel agency management and customer service, students are groomed to meet real-world challenges from day one.
What impressed me the most is their approach to practical learning—state-of-the-art kitchens, fully operational training restaurants, housekeeping labs, mock hotel rooms, and in-house event spaces give students a simulation-based education that goes far beyond theory. This is not just textbook training; it’s transformational learning designed to make students industry-ready.
Opportunities for International Exposure Through Fashion Design in Pune
Although the phrase fashion design in Pune often brings to mind creative apparel programs, it’s important to understand that hospitality too has a strong element of presentation, aesthetics, and client-facing decorum. SCHMTT seamlessly blends these soft skills into their hospitality programs through grooming sessions, communication workshops, international seminars, and personality development modules.
Understanding the Scope of Fashion Designing in India and Why It Aligns with Hospitality
When discussing the scope of fashion designing in India, we often forget that the hospitality industry is one of the most fashion-conscious and brand-sensitive sectors. From staff uniforms to décor themes, visual branding, and customer perception—design plays a critical role.
The Indian hospitality sector is expected to reach USD 460 billion by 2028, according to the IBEF (India Brand Equity Foundation). As luxury tourism, destination weddings, and wellness retreats become increasingly popular, the demand for well-trained professionals who understand aesthetics, customer experience, and cultural nuance is at an all-time high.
SCHMTT taps into this growing demand with programs that not only teach hotel management but also sensitize students to the lifestyle and branding elements that modern hospitality requires.
Life Beyond the Classroom: Internships, Industry Tie-ups, and Placements
No matter how well-designed a syllabus is, its success lies in execution and outcomes. One of the reasons I often recommend SCHMTT to students is because of its robust internship and placement ecosystem.
Students regularly intern at leading hotel chains, resorts, airlines, and event management firms. Many are even placed overseas in countries like UAE, Singapore, and Mauritius. SCHMTT’s dedicated training and placement cell ensures that every student has access to career counseling, resume building workshops, interview preparation, and industry mentoring.
What adds further value is the involvement of alumni and industry experts in regular knowledge-sharing sessions—an excellent way for students to learn from real experiences and build networks that matter.
Why I Recommend SCHMTT to Pune Students
Hospitality management is a field that demands not just knowledge but heart—empathy, leadership, patience, and discipline. Over the years, I’ve seen many colleges focus on theory while underestimating the power of values and soft skills. SCHMTT, on the other hand, strikes the perfect balance. Their emphasis on ethics, professionalism, and community service truly shapes students into well-rounded individuals.
Suryadatta College of Hospitality Management and Travel Tourism (SCHMTT) was established in 2023 under the aegis of the Suryadatta Education Foundation, Pune, with a clear vision—to deliver matchless quality education for aspiring hospitality and tourism professionals, aligned with the ever-evolving needs of the global management sector.
Final Thoughts:
If you're a student in Pune looking to explore the vibrant world of hospitality, hotel, and tourism management, my honest recommendation is to consider SCHMTT. From academics to internships, global exposure to personal growth—it offers everything needed to excel in today’s competitive world.

[ad_1] Paromita Das New Delhi: Bharatiya Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been honored with Mauritius’ highest national award, The Grand Commander of the Order of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean (GCSK), in recognition of his contributions to strengthening Bharat-Mauritius relations. The award, presented by Mauritian Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam on the first day of PM Modi’s visit, marks a historic milestone as Modi becomes the first Bharatiya leader to receive this prestigious honor. This also adds to Modi’s growing list of international recognitions, making it the 21st global award conferred upon him by foreign nations. The visit has been particularly symbolic, underscoring Bharat’s deep-rooted ties with Mauritius—a country with strong historical, cultural, and economic connections to Bharat. With eight new agreements signed between the two nations, covering areas from maritime security to financial cooperation, the visit has set the stage for a new era of strategic and economic collaboration between the two nations. Strengthening Diplomatic and Economic Partnerships During his visit, PM Modi attended Mauritius’ National Day celebrations as the Chief Guest for the second time, highlighting the special relationship between the two nations. In a key gesture of goodwill, he also handed over Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cards to Mauritius President Dharambeer Gokhool and First Lady Vrinda Gokhool, symbolizing Bharat’s commitment to strengthening its people-to-people ties with Mauritius. A major highlight of the visit was the signing of eight Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between Bharat and Mauritius. These agreements aim to enhance bilateral cooperation in sectors such as crime investigation, maritime security, trade, capacity building, finance, and the ocean economy. The agreements reinforce Bharat’s role as a key developmental partner for Mauritius and demonstrate Bharat’s ‘Neighbourhood First’ policy in action. During a joint press conference, PM Modi reiterated Bharat’s unwavering commitment to Mauritius, stating, “The relationship between Bharat and Mauritius is not only linked to the Indian Ocean but also to our shared cultural traditions and values. We are each other’s partners on the path of economic and social progress.” Bharat’s Developmental Support for Mauritius PM Modi also highlighted Bharat’s long-standing role in Mauritius’ economic and infrastructural development, citing key projects completed over the last decade. These include the Metro Express, the Supreme Court building, social housing initiatives, the ENT hospital, and digital advancements such as UPI and RuPay cards—all of which have boosted trade, tourism, and digital transformation in Mauritius. Further deepening this engagement, PM Modi announced that Bharat would support the construction of a new parliament building in Mauritius, calling it a “gift from the Mother of Democracy”. He also committed to modernizing a 100-kilometer-long water pipeline and launching new community development projects worth 500 million Mauritian rupees. To strengthen administrative and governance capabilities, Modi revealed that over 500 Mauritian civil servants will be trained in Bharat over the next five years. He also stressed the importance of local currency trade settlements between the two nations to reduce dependence on foreign exchange fluctuations. Security and Maritime Cooperation: A Key Strategic Focus Security and defense cooperation were major focal points of discussions, with Bharat pledging full support for Mauritius’ maritime security. As part of this collaboration, Bharat will assist in establishing a police academy and a national maritime information-sharing center in Mauritius. PM Modi emphasized that a free, open, and secure Indian Ocean remains Bharat’s top priority, and Bharat will continue to play an active role in safeguarding Mauritius’ Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). He noted that both nations would enhance cooperation in white shipping,
the blue economy, and hydrography, ensuring that the Indian Ocean remains a safe and prosperous region. In a larger regional context, PM Modi reiterated Bharat’s respect for Mauritius’ sovereignty and pledged greater collaboration through the Colombo Security Conclave, the Indian Ocean Rim Association, and the Indian Ocean Conference. Cultural and People-to-People Ties: Strengthening Historical Bonds Mauritius has long been home to a significant Bharatiya diaspora, and PM Modi made special mention of the cultural and spiritual connection between the two nations. He announced plans to facilitate Char Dham Yatra and Ramayana circuit tours for the people of Mauritius, strengthening spiritual ties and religious tourism. Recognizing the historical importance of Indo-Mauritian heritage, Modi emphasized efforts to preserve and promote inscribed cultural heritage, ensuring that future generations continue to cherish their shared history. Mauritius’ Warm Welcome and Bilateral Commitments Welcoming PM Modi, Mauritian Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam expressed deep gratitude for Bharat’s continued support. He called Modi’s presence at Mauritius’ National Day celebrations a reflection of the “unique and special relationship” between the two nations. Ramgoolam recalled that while diplomatic ties were formally established in 1948, the historical and cultural connection between Bharat and Mauritius dates back centuries. He praised Modi’s leadership in strengthening this relationship and ensuring that Bharat remains a trusted partner for Mauritius’ socio-economic development. Key Agreements Signed Between Bharat and Mauritius Several major agreements were signed during PM Modi’s visit, including: A Local Currency Settlement System MoU between the Central Bank of Mauritius and the Reserve Bank of India, facilitating smoother financial transactions between the two nations.
