He’s the new girl, people hate him for being himself, he just does his own thing anyway, he makes friends and keeps them, he pisses off people just to piss them off, he comes from a shady past and doesn’t like to talk about his possible past with the opps. He is Deandra, he’s new.

The Most Popular Girls in School: Trisha Cappalletti

Trisha is my second favorite character. She’s a precious cinnamon roll who is a ditzy, bubbly lady. Trisha can also regurgitate anything she has read perfectly, so she might possibly be the smartest one on the team. An avid hater of Ashley Katchadourian and best friends with Brittnay, Trisha 2 and Mikayla Van Buren, Trisha will either come running to your aid or wave severed arms at you depending on where you stand with her.

I love this little clueless girl. She’s precious and such a fun character! Definitely Brittnay’s only true friend (besides Saison).

Ashley Katchadourian wasn't even in charge of the door

In episode one of #MPGIS Trisha Cappalletti says, after Deandra tells her that Ashley let her in, that "Ashley Katchadourian isn't even in charge of the door"

Later, Trisha yells at Ashley in episode 11 that ASHLEY KATCHADOURIAN was in charge of the door, and Ashley agrees, but in episode 1 said that Ashley is in charge of snacks, and that JENNA DARABOND is in charge of the door, which is revealed to be true in episode 31.

MPGIS Trisha Theory

Trisha Cappalletti is a Squib from the Wizarding World trying to assimilate into the Muggle world with mixed results.

The thing with Trisha is, she doesn't seem outright stupid like Blaine is as she manages to remember the full names of every relevant student in her local area and handles all of the cheerleader's paperwork. Her main schtick is that she lacks a lot of basic *Muggle* knowledge like children's books/stores and what a pregnancy test is, etc.

When questioned on Brittany Matthew's official Facebook page about Trisha's absence in the flashback episode in the third grade, they said Trisha transferred in the 7th grade.

Which is roughly the same age that MOST wizarding families enroll their children into school.

And Trisha is implied to have a strained relationship with her father which could be the fact she lacks any magical talent.

Trisha could be a fully capable thinking person, but from what I glean in the Wizarding world of Harry Potter, most wizarding families don't put much emphasis on *actual* logical subjects such as mathematics or english, but rather teaching their children how to properly use magic. If Trisha was a squib, most of her childhood would have gone waste with no real muggle knowledge taught to her.

And her fascination with children's books like Cat in Hat Comes Back could simply because she enjoys Muggle culture and has no idea they're meant for children. Her friendship with Mikayla as an equal could be because she thinks she's a small humanoid creature like an house elf or goblin.

So yeah Trisha isn't an idiot, she's just not used to the muggle world due to her wizarding background.
