not over, never over (trixya)
Just a short fic about one particular friendship that overcomes the struggles of addiction created with help of my humble imagination and inspired by Trixie & Katya. Enjoy! xx
Trixie’s life has been pretty much the same for the past few months. He would go on tour, do shows, perform his music on stage, make instagram posts and tweet from time to time, receiving nothing but waves of admiration and love from the fans. His life has been the same, except for one piece missing. It felt like he had one piece of a puzzle gone and it’s absence spoiled the ability to fully enjoy the process since he wasn’t able to see the whole picture anymore. That would cause him to forget words to his own songs, cry in almost every dressing room in every city on the tour, constantly make spelling mistakes or leave out words on social media. The craving was slowly ruining him from the inside, sucking out his energy, keeping his mood down and his heart aching. That missing piece was, of course, one particular russian high-class whore - Katya, also known as his madly insane but utterly amazing best friend - Brian McCook. Or as Trixie was quite sure of lately, his former best friend.
No one ever said being close to Katya was a piece of cake, it was, actually, the opposite of that most of the times. The man was unstable, had an addictive personality and an endless amount of terrifying stories from his past he just had to share with Trixie. He could be loud one minute and then suddenly quiet the next one, he hardly ever allowed himself to talk about his real feelings, trying to disguise truth as jokes. But Trixie couldn’t help but loved him. They were naturally drawn to each other, sharing the same sense of humor and feeling comfortable while spending time together. Trixie often wondered if Katya could see all the things he loved him for, he was sure though, Katys was aware of all the things he loved him despite of. Their friendship was Trixie’s greatest strength and biggest weakness at the same time. People around them would say they were joined at the hip, and that has been absolutely true for a few years post season 7 of Drag Race. It was almost perfect, till it wasn’t anymore.
The first time Trixie learned about Katya’s multiplе addictions was when the two of them were working together with Pearl and Fame on one of the earliest episodes of RPDR. Trixie saw something small and round falling out of his pocket when he was pulling the jeans on. Katya followed his glance and hurried to pick it up, but Trixie knew for sure what that thing was. Sobriety chip. His mother’s boyfriend had a lot of those.
- Alcohol? Drugs? - He wasn’t sure if it was appropriate to ask, if the two of them were close enough to share real stuff, but he did anyways.
- Both, actually. It’s been a year and a half. I’m better now. - Katya smiled at him weakly, shoving the chip back inside.
- You know you can talk to me if you feel like it. Anytime, I’m there for you. - Trixie said in a serious tone. He caught Katya’s wandering gaze, trying his best to let the older queen know he wasn’t kidding, not this time. Katya just grabbed his palm and squeezed it in response. He knew and he appreciated that.
Afterwards they got closer and Trixie spent hours of his life listening to stories about Katya’s addictive past. He would listen to them over the phone, in a cafe while eating eggs with a salad on the side, while applying his makeup before the gig and in a dark alley filled with cigarette smoke he could barely stand after a gig, also in hotel rooms, on WOW Presents set, on buses and on airplanes. Simply put: he would listen to those stories everywhere. But he never got tired of it. On the contrary, Trixie was completely fascinated. Katya managed to make it all sound amusing, he has always been amazing at turning tragedy into comedy. However, from time to time Trixie looked at Katya’s face for a little too long and wondered how he’s still alive and breathing. This is what should be called the eighth wonder of the world. At first, right after the both of them just started working together post Drag Race, Trixie would catch himself being worried about Katya’s well-being and wondering whether he could take all the pressure without breaking down. But it has been a few years and Katya always rose up to every occasion, ready and totally able to entertain. And just as Trixie was about to let it go and finally breath out, everything exploded right in his face.
To be honest, it wasn’t that horrible. The older queen has seemed erratic and distant for a couple of weeks. Trixie tried to talk about it but got nothing more than irritated «I’m fine-fine, stop huffing around me, Tracy!» out of him. One day Katya just didn’t show up on the set of their «Trixie & Katya» tv-show and didn’t pick up his phone (Trixie called like fifty times, all in vain). On his way to the hotel where Katya was staying, he texted that he was going to come see him. And finally got a reply: «Don’t you dare coming over. I quit. I don’t want to see you ever again.» Trixie came over anyway, he has never been much of a listener. Katya was gone, checked out of his room a few hours ago. But he left a note on the reception: just a small piece of paper. It said «to Brian F» on one side and «Trixya is over!» on the other side. Well, maybe it was horrible. It definitely hurt like hell. Trixie felt confused, betrayed, disappointed and mad. As soon as he managed to pull himself together, he called Patricia, searching for any reasonable explanation: she told him Brian was using again, she said he came home a total mess, she apologized over and over, promised it was all going to get better after rehab and begged not to call quits on her son. Trixie had no intentions to do so. Katya wasn’t the enemy here, his addiction, on the other hand, was.
Since that moment the younger queen stepped back from the situation, put it all on pause. Their relationships, their dreams and his feelings as well. Katya stopped returning his calls for good. Trixie blamed it on addiction. Katya unfollowed him on every social media he could. Trixie blamed it on addiction. Katya’s first text to him after a long silence was about how much he hated him on the first episode of All Stars 3. Trixie blamed it on addiction. He heard rumors about Katya talking shit about their friendship behind his back. Trixie blamed it on addiction. Never blaming any of it on Katya. He kept shoving his feelings into the farthest, darkest corner of his soul the way Katya shoved that sobriety chip into the pocked of his jeans. Mostly, he could get by days just fine: not to take spelling mistakes, forgotten lyrics on stage and tearing up in dressing rooms into account. But not a single night was spent without missing his best friend, not being able to dial his number and just babble about his life, going on and on about the troubles, feeling “the weight of existing” being lifted off his shoulders slowly. He reminded himself constantly that the whole situation was way worse for Katya, that he is the one who should be strong and patient, that all of it (all of them) was going to be back one day. Could he say the last one for sure? Not at all. Making attempts at predicting things that depended on him only partially seemed stupid, but he simply couldn’t deny himself that whatsoever fleeting tranquility.
It’s been more than half of the year and Trixie’s heart started to heal. He knew no one could ever replace Katya, people don’t really get so lucky in life as to meet soulmates every few years. Nothing depended on him anyway, it was all about Katya fighting his demons and probably winning. Deep down Trixie knew he was going to be alright as long as his friend got to feel better. Thought it wasn’t easy to pretend like it didn’t bother him at all that his next show was in Boston, in a theater just an hour away from McCook’s family house. Nothing else mattered as long as he had the chance to put all his worries aside and do what he loved doing the most: dressing up and putting on makeup, creating a full country-Barbie fantasy and singing his own songs from the stage. How lucky he was to only spot two painfully familiar piercing blue eyes staring at him from the audience right before closing the show? Extremely lucky. Trixie didn’t trust his vision at first, but the truth was - Katya, out of drag, sitting in the audience, wearing skinny black jeans and a plain grey t-shirt, showing his arms all covered in newly done tattoos. Their eyes met and the younger queen felt himself being on the verge of heart-attack. Katya got up from his place, pointing backstage with a silent question in his eyes. Trixie nodded almost invisibly and rushed from the stage.
Just a couple of minutes after getting into his dressing room, Trixie heard knocking on the door. His heard was racing so fast it could totally fall out of his chest any second now. He turned the knob with a shaking hand, pulled it and there was Katya standing on the other side with a paper bag in his also shaking hand, visibly  sweating and looking extremely uncomfortable.
- Can I come in, please? - Katya asked in a low voice. Trixie stepped to the back of the room, letting him in. - I brought you brownies. I figured you would be hungry after the show. - Trixie suppressed a smile. Mixed feelings were tearing him apart from the inside. It wasn’t right to be in that much pain and so relieved at the same time. Katya seemed normal, he seemed himself. But this fact didn’t erase all those months spent in darkness and total abandonment, without his best friend. He took the bag and thanked the older man. Katya came close to a mirror, looking at the younger queen standing behind him through it. Then there was silence, usually comfortable between the two of them, but this time it seemed unbearable. Trixie couldn’t help but wondered if things would ever be the same again, if the damage this falling out caused their friendship was irreversible or not.
- I like your tattoos. - Trixie finally spoke up, carefully trying to defuse the situation. He caught Katya’s eyes in the reflection. The older queen was smiling.
- Thank you, Tracy. - Katya replied softly and turned around, facing Trixie and leaning on the dressing table with his legs crossed. - I’m glad you let me in here today. I would be even more glad if you agreed to hear me out. Can you grant me some of your time? - Trixie had never even once in his life heard Katya speaking in such way: calmly, steadily and confidently.
- Sure, I’m all years. - The younger queen nodded. He sat on the little white leather coach in the corner of the room and streached out his lean legs. He was still in drag and his feet were killing him from jumping around the stage in high-heals for the past couple of hours. Katya probably noticed the glimpse of discomfort on his face.
- Oh, I’m so sorry, I should have let you get out of drag first. So fucking inconsiderate of me. We can meet in the alley behind the theater in 30. Is that okay with you? - He looked genuinely worried and Trixie was secretly relieved to postpone this conversation, even for half an hour. Definitely wasn’t going to be an easy one.
- That would be great, thanks. - It came out a little cold. He didn’t aspire to sound this way, but it did. Katya retired immediately, leaving Trixie alone with his thoughts.
It exactly 28 minutes Trixie in his boy-clothes went out the back door and found himself in a pretty dark alley. Katya was standing under the only streetlight in sight, looking down intently and tracing lines with his right feet.
- Hey. - Trixie called out and the older guy lifted his head, smiling.
- How are you never late? - He asked, staring at the watch on his hand. Katya was that type of an “old person” that barely ever had his phone around, but this simple black-strap watch was literally glued to his wrist all the time he was out of drag.
- The same way you are always late! No logical way to explain this. - Katya wheezle-laughed and it hit Trixie how much he missed the sound of that awful, stupid, infectious and painfully familiar laughter.
- Well, I guess you can hear me out now. - Katya said quietly, not a trace of a smile on his face, when the younger queen came closer. Trixie nodded, feeling the heartbeat fastening. Come what may, he thought. - I came to talk to you today because I’ve been told I was ready. To be honest, it doesn’t feel like “ready” to me. - Katya shook his head and took a deep breath. He was staring at the ground intensively while Trixie was dying to look him in the eyes. - However, I believe I will never feel ready enough for this. I’m not good at sincere and emotional conversations, you know that better than anyone, Tracy. - Trixie could feel tears coming up, oh, how much he hated being this vulnerable in front of Katya in that moment. - I came to apologize, - the older man finally found a courage to look up and their eyes met, - there are not enough words in the world to express how sorry I am for hurting you, for ruining what we’ve had. I understand it’s bold of me to just show up out of the blue and expect you to forgive me instantaneously. - His voice was shaking and Trixie noticed the way he digged his nails into his own hip. - If I’m being completely honest, I can’t even promise you not to go nuts ever again. Most of the times I can control it, but sometimes those voices in my head get too loud and I feel like I don’t even know who I am anymore. Though I can ensure you, as long as I am myself, I will always consider you my best friend. So I kind of came here to ask you for something I knew I didn’t deserve at the first place. For you to be a part of my life again. - At that point, Trixie was dead-ass ugly crying, his cheeks all wet from tears and his nose running. The older man was crying, too. The way he somehow always managed to look beautiful when he cried happened to be an unsolved mystery. - I can’t promise you perfection, I won’t promise that. But I for sure will try my best to be a better person, a better friend to you, if you let me. - Katya reached out and stroked Trixie’s shoulder just once, obviously doubting whether it was a good idea to do so. - Also, nothing drag-related. I’m aware you can’t rely on me career-wise and with a lot of done work and money on stake, there’s no reason you should trust me again. I wrote it myself: Trixya is over. - He went silent and froze like a convict who has said his final words, waiting for the verdict of the judge. Trixie was overwhelmed with the emotions, struggling to speak back. So instead he grabbed the older man’s arm and pulled him into the embrace. Katya wrapped his both arms around the younger queen lightly, not quite sure about what exactly was going on.
- I don’t need perfection, - Trixie finally whispered, - I just need you. - Katya breathed out loudly into his shoulder, feeling relaxed and excited at the same time. - Also, - Trixie pulled back a little so he could see the older guy’s face, still holding his forearms in his hands, - Trixya is not over. We both know, it is never over. - Katya only smiled and nodded, not even trying to figure out anymore how he got so fucking lucky to call the guy in front of him a friend.

Mystery Ink sounds intriguing 😊
omg okay !! So this wip was originally going to be a trixya fic back in my trixya phase like 2-3 years ago. I used to be super active on my other sideblog but then I stopped watching RPDR and keeping up with the queens on social media bc life and shit. I’m rambling !! Anyway, I came back to RPDR during quarantine and now I’m mainly interested in writing the s12 girls.
I haven’t looked at this in years but there’s so many docs in this folder.. It’s supposed to be a tattoo shop owner x the hairdresser that works in the salon across the street. Might change the hairdresser to another occupation. The tattoo shop is trying to pass inspections but they’re being sabotaged/tampered with.
I don’t know what ship/s this will focus on but so far I do know that I want Crystal and Widow working at the tattoo shop. Oh and the shop is called Mystery Ink. I feel like the title is misleading since there is no mystery or supernatural elements in in the fic... but then again, that can change.
Thank you so much for asking!!

fight me all you want but i am so sick of a lot of trixie/katya fans. (also just young drag race fans in general)
some of you have no respect or boundaries when it comes to social media with these people. friendly reminder that trixie and katya are two characters portrayed by two adult men named brian. they have real shit to deal with because they crossdress for a living and in our society a lot of people are still not okay with it. some of you have never felt opression, and that makes you very lucky. but i have had swastikas drawn all over my locker, outside my dorm room, and that’s just for being jewish. i’ve had to deal with my best friends and boyfriends being profiled for their race and it’s heartbreaking. trixie being profiled at the airport is scary. when her and katya got detained, that wasn’t a “cute trixya moment!!” stop tweeting these dumb ass responses to trixie and katya. grow up. i know some of you are completely normal adults who understand respect, but for those of you who are offended right now, then you’re in the wrong.
call me names, message me hate, but i’m just speaking the truth. drag queens are not just “pretty pretty girls!!”, they have to fight through society’s shit any time they are away from their fans and with the rest of the world. stop being cringeworthy fans and learn boundaries.
you aren’t cute, so stop.

Sugar Rush: A Trixya fic.
As some of you may know, I participated in the @rpdrficexchange this year, and I drew ….......
Dymphna from @tropicaldepressionkatya !!!!!  Happy Holidays darling! I’m not a huge huge fan of Trixya, but I tried and hopefully did them justice!.This is a cute little moment during a snowy day when one must make their own fun.The opinions and preferences reflected in this fic are made up for the purposes of this fic and do not reflect the opinions and preferences of the writer and may not reflect the opinions and preferences of the subjects.
One snowy day in late December, Trixie and Katya were snowed in their apartment. Attempts to go outside were foiled by bitter cold and raging snow. So they watched Netflix and cuddled and “chilled” and joked and played games and scrolled through social media, but they were getting bored.
“I think I’m going to make some hot chocolate, do you want some?” Katya asked, untangling herself from the blankets on the couch and walking to the kitchen, desperate for something to do.
“Eh, why not?” Trixie said, getting up herself. “I’ll get the powder and you can heat up the milk.” She walked over to the pantry and dug out their many containers of hot chocolate mix as Katya turned on the throther with a maniacal laugh, making fancy milk that would make for fancy hot chocolate.
“Dark Chocolate or Double Chocolate?” Trixie called, holding out both containers of mix.
“Both of them!” Katya said, and Trixie could see the beginnings of a sugar rush and eventual crash, but Katya did usually make tasty decisions about sweets, so she relented, grabbing mugs and splitting one pack of each between them. Katya walked over and poured milk into the cups with peppermint stirrers in her hands, she stirred the hot chocolate with them, and Trixie’s stomach hurt just looking at it, but she figured she could just take Pepto Bismol later. Katya grabbed a bag of marshmallows and dumped a handful on one of the cups before handing the bag to Trixie and adding a generous dollop of whipped creme on to it. Trixie set the bag down and held her hand out for the whipped creme, which Katya gave to her.
“No marshmallows?” Katya asked, sprinkling chocolate shavings all over the top of her whipped creme.
“No thank you, I don’t like marshmallows.” Trixie answered, shaking the can. She almost dropped it when Katya let out a loud yell.
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON’T LIKE MARSHMALLOWS?!” Katya screeched, “MARSHMALLOWS ARE FLUFFY GIFTS FROM GOD!!!”
“Marshmallows are sticky, flavorless blobs of gelatin.  I’ve tried them before Kat, I’ve just never liked them. Not even the flavored ones.” Trixie said, topping her hot chocolate with whipped creme.
“So you don’t like Smores? Or Rice Krispy Treats? Or Lucky Charms? Or Peeps?”
“Oh god no. Definitely not Peeps, those are the work of the devil. Rice Krispy Treats are OK sometimes, especially if they’re covered in chocolate or sprinkles or they’re Mickey shaped. But no, I’ve never been a fan of Smores or Lucky Charms.”
“Well that’s something, you at least like Rice Krispy Treats.” Katya said, popping some mini marshmallows into her mouth.
“If Marshmallows are an ingredient in something, then that’s different, I just don’t like them on their own or as a topping. They have to be fully integrated.”
“I guess that’s fair. More for me then!”
“More for you, I will stick with whipped cream on my hot chocolate, thank you very much.” She opened her mouth and squirted some whipped creme inside. She smiled at Katya through her mouthful as Katya squirted some whipped creme inside her own mouth.
“I will take some of these chocolate shavings though.” She said, reaching for the container as Katya added sprinkles to her hot chocolate, and Trixie’s teeth hurt just looking at her creation.
“That looks overly sweet, are you trying to give yourself diabetes?”
“What can I say, I prefer drinking my calories, both good and bad.” Katya said, finally taking a sip out of her mug, getting whipped creme on her nose. “Yummmm, those marshmallows really hit the spot.” She declared as Trixie rolled her eyes and tried her own hot chocolate. It tasted really good, if a bit too sweet.
“Lets go and sit down with these.” She suggested, and Katya nodded, adding more whipped creme to the top. “And you are drinking water next! Good god, you’re going to have a stomach ache later!”
“Worth it!” Katya sung as they walked back into the living room. “I don’t intend on living forever anyway!”
Trixie rolled her eyes and sat down next to Katya as they nursed their drinks. Sure enough, once the sugar rush hit, Katya was bouncing off the walls like a maniac, unfortunate when they were snowed in. All Trixie could do was wait for Katya to hit a wall, which came just as suddenly as the rush did, and she curled up on the couch and rested her head on Trixie’s lap, falling asleep quickly. Trixie just rolled her eyes and counted it up to another one of Katya’s antics. When she woke up, she would swear off that much sugar again, until a few weeks or months later when she got a craving, then she’d indulge and the cycle would start again. It happened more times than Trixie could count. Katya could be a crazy weirdo sometimes. But she was HER crazy weirdo. And they were stuck with each other, much like those godforsaken marshmallows in the dredges of Katya’s cup. Which would probably harden before they got a chance to wash it. And then they would have to soak it, and Trixie would make Katya scrape out the cup. Because she’s the one who likes marshmallows. Not Trixie.
Katya suddenly snored loudly, adjusting as she snuggled closer to Trixie. When she was awake, she wouldn’t even think about showing vulnerability like this, but when she was asleep, she would become super clingy, to the point of being suffocating. It was annoying when Trixie was trying to sleep, but right now, it was actually kinda cute, the fact that she was quiet was a bonus. Trixie sipped on the last little bit of her hot chocolate as the sun set behind them. The snow hadn’t let up at all, so they would be stuck again tomorrow. Trixie briefly wondered what antics tomorrow would bring. With Katya, one never knew. Life wasn’t boring when you loved Kayta, and Trixie liked it that way.

Fandom Trixie and Katya: They’re sapphic lesbian cinnamon rolls uwu. They’re best friends and in love with each other and Katya is sooo proud Trixie won the crown and avenged her!!1 XD Trixya 4ever ohhhh honeyyyyy! Trixie wrote her new album about Katya because she’s in loooove with her! :’)
Real life Trixie and Katya: Call each other work friends, and don’t interact outside of their web show. Katya unfollowed Trixie on social media. Katya stans Kennedy, and was likely dissapointed with the end of AS3 if she even bothered watching. Both have boyfriends and haven’t communicated verbally since Katya went on hiatus.

trixya and arguments?? like what do each of them argue about most/most intensely in your verses, how do they deal with it/make up
moonlight - oh my god they’ll argue about anything, but very casually. trixie will buy too much makeup, katya will go to too many gigs, they both spend too much money at starbucks. they like arguing, because the make up sex is fun. they’ll have a five minute argument to have an hour of sex.
the biggest argument they have is when they move in together, after they’ve graduated and when katya’s working at an art gallery and trixie’s part of a small (but still professional, which makes her heart sing) theatre company. they’re both busy, and they both miss each other, and katya gets very hissy when she’s jealous of trixie’s cast members. they don’t break up, but their fighting results in katya picking up a night shift with the security team. trixie picks her up the next morning, they make up over pancakes.
wait for it - house chores are a big point of focus during their arguments, since trixie hates doing laundry and katya won’t ever touch the dishes unless trixie’s too poorly to do them (and even then she’ll complain until the whole ordeal is over). wine fuels their arguments, along with long weeks, so they usually fight on friday evenings about the laundry basket being full or the dishwasher being unloaded.
they make up fairly easily, usually after katya’s had a cigarette in the garden and trixie’s held muffin hostage for cuddles. katya will fold herself close to trixie on the couch, and they’ll hold hands while they watch documentaries about animal families.
sugar pink - katya’s social media. trixie is hyper aware of how open katya is with the world, and she’ll never get michelle’s initial talk about boundaries out of her head. katya shares as much as she’s comfortable with, and she’s comfortable with a lot more than trixie is. they only really argue about it when trixie sees some of the tweets people send katya, because it’s weird and she’s so fine about it.
katya will only argue with trixie about wanting cats. when they settle into a place together, katya very seriously wants to adopt cats, but trixie doesn’t trust any cat that walks the face of the earth. they only really stop arguing about this when trixie finds the one cat she doesn’t hate, which spirals into them having four large cats. katya’s a happy woman.
falling slowly - trixie argues with katya about how she wallows in her misery. she’s usually very patient, but sometimes katya will just huff and pout and not say anything about what she’s feeling, but she’ll still feel it. trixie just gets frustrated with katya won’t even let her try to help.
making up for them includes punishments, because katya’s very aware that she does mope a fucking lot when she’s in a bad mood. trixie won’t take it too far once they’ve fought it out, because she feels bad about letting it get to an argument rather than just encouraging katya to talk and being more patient.

listen as much as I would love for Katya to be in love with Trixie, based on her social media posts as of late it sounds like whoever she's pining after (lets assume it's Trixie for funsies) does not feel the same and my literal worst fear is for them to stop being friends for whatever reason so basically I would love for them to be in love and together but I will absolutely take platonic trixya over no trixya at all =\
No, I totally get it. I would love for them to be together, and I genuinely do believe there is something there. I ship it, but I know it is important to remember these are real people, with their own lives outside of what fans see.But I also think Katya sounds so sad lately in her posts, and that breaks my heart. All I want for them both is to be happy, whatever that takes. If it is Trixie that Katya is speaking of, and if she really doesn't want the same thing, then I only hope that they can keep their close bond and incredible friendship and both find happiness, as they both deserve the world.

thoughts on trixie mattel?
trixie will forever be one of my fav queens. i think she’s one of the funniest queens out there and she’s created such a brilliant and iconic brand for herself. she’s such an amazing performer and charismatic entertainer, i kick myself every day for missing out on my one opportunity to see her live. she might be one of the first people i line up for @ drag con NYC bc i’ve been WAITING FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS NOW for her return to toronto and she’s never came. :/ i love her social media presence and she’s probably one of the only queens i can say with full certainity that i can watch her entire standup routine without cringing. i hate how she’s been reduced to katya’s sidekick/ship partner, bc she’s so much more than what the fandom thinks to be the lesser half of trixya? honestly she’s my personal fav part about UnhhHHH. i also love her relationship with other ru girls and i think she’s got gr8 chemistry with everyone! i know there’s been a lot of controversy surrounding her and i’m not the first one to dismiss or defend any of the hurtful and problematic things she’s said. i may be called out as a hypocrite for saying this but i think sometimes you need to take things with a grain of salt and realize that there’s no such thing as an “unproblematic drag queen” or even human being for that matter and accept that you can like someone but not agree/support with everything they say.

Stop writing Branjie, Vanessa and Brooklyn have made it very clear they don't like the shipping anymore and they are just friends. You're being disrespectful, you can't call yourself fans.
Hey anon! Thanks for this advice. You seem really fun and chill. HOWEVER, neither Brooke nor Vanessa have said anything against fanfic. What they have said is that they don’t want people harassing them with inappropriately shippy comments on their social media - specifically, Twitter and Instagram, or tagging them in things about how they need to get (back) together. This is entirely fair, and should probably apply to like…all humans.
As far as I’m aware, NO queen has said that they are against fanfic. A lot of them encourage it (explicitly or implicitly). If anyone does say that, and you have proof, let us know and we can revisit this conversation.
What none of them like is when people force it upon them, like the person who read Trixya smut out loud at the UNHhhh panel a few years ago despite being asked repeatedly to stop. (They were NOT THE AUTHOR, btw.) This would also apply to sending them unsolicited links to stories.
Additionally, every single fic on AQ is tagged as “rpdr fanfiction” - which makes it EXCEEDINGLY easy to blacklist if you don’t want to see it. So feel free to do that.
Namaste.

So you all know I stan Shea Couleé with all my heart and soul, but I am so not a fan of how she called someone's work "freaky fan fiction" (as much as I do love me some alliteration.)
First of all, she's been encouraging shippers with her tweets to/about Sasha.
Secondly, this is an art form, whether you agree with shipping real people or not. It's a creative outlet for the writer and entertainment for shippers to have fun in our own little corner of the community. If it's not your cup of tea, maybe don't read it and stay in your lane? Fuckin wild, I know!
Third, at no point did the writer or anyone who enjoys their work show it to Shea, we keep that shit private unlike some cringe af Trixya fans. Trannika Rex is the one who showed it to her.
Trannika also added a link? Necessary? NO. Bitch that's like saying "I dont like this, go bully this person, my minions!" Bitch you're a grown ass man, learn how to behave on social media, s'il vous plait.
