AMV Title: You're One in a Million

A new 2023 remake of my "One in a Million" AMV from 2012. Originally, my goal was to just do a remaster with some tweaks here and there, but I ended up doing a complete re-edit with lots of new scenes. A lot of this was due to many of the original sources still being DVD only, and I wanted most of the footage to be HD. Enjoy this new anime music video release!

I’ve been thinking about this for a long time. But I’m not straight. In any sense of the meaning of sexuality. Especially since I do not identify with my AGAB.

That’s all. So if anyone dated me it will always be gay. I just don’t know if I really understand why sex is so hyped in our media.

It just makes me uncomfy, like I’m watching a show or a cartoon: it doesn’t matter what the characters are if they kiss I look away. Shit in real life too, seeing others kiss like mouth to mouth just seems like something we shouldn’t intrude on,

Maybe I’m weird.

So I’ve seen our favorite anime “kiss kiss fall in love *speakers begin cracking from how loud the volume it*”

But I have a confession, I hated how it ended. I don’t care for a second season although everyone else ones one. Why?

I never liked Tamaki Suoh. I love OHSHC, but I didn’t care for the loud blond. My favorite blonds are, Haninozuka and Nekozawa.

But for some reason I never liked Tamaki. Not the first time I watched the anime and not the most recent revisit of the anime. But that’s really it. I don’t think I have a concrete explination for it but does anyone else have any inexplicable dislike for a character?

And I mean Dislike not hatred.

So I was trying to design a tattoo for myself inspired by magical girls that I grew up watching. So I took it upon myself first to list the ones I could think of without searching.

Then I thought about it more and I looked for ones that had like a transformations catalyst, namely an item the characters carry with them say the magic word and transform.

So Madoka Magica is added.

And this morning two days after starting this little side project. I just realized that in theory. Yugi was a magical girl. And I will die on this hill.

I will now consider this while I’m designing the tattoo and incorporate the puzzle in it. I’m sure there are plenty of shows I missed but I’m willing to watch any that I missed.

Considering the year I was born and the anime that I want to incorporate into the tattoo it’s a very particular design choice. Maybe I’ll do one arm with a sleeve of Shonen symbols and the other will be games.
