" If i have to go drag them back kicking and screaming, i'm gonna strangle the both of them..."

I think we can all agree that Tangle's walking away from the New Year's party as the party whore, right?

" You'd think that but if i had to say who most promiscuous member was ... that is in fact Amy..."

Lanolin trusted Dawn and Altriss to keep any GUN agents in line, and this was more about helping people. So both sides should be willing to concede on some fronts. But if anyone could handle a bunch of hack job soldiers it was Altriss. He was a War Doctor after all, and they needed to get help in here no matter what they had to do to get it.

" Dawn i'll let you handle things here... if Jewel ends up here, i need someone to send word to us at the command center. If Surge comes back here, tell her i'm heading to the command center and she should join us as soon as she can. "

The Sheep turned on her heels and made her way out of the infirmary. With the Mouse noddig in response before turning to Twist with a deep sigh. She was more then ready to help as all of her were starting to get pretty tired if she as honest.

" Right, i'll start compiling a list of all injured and if they can send medics i'll prepare a duty list. "

Dawn closed her eyes and held her breath and two more of her POPPED into existence! as she looked at 41 and 42 with a hand on her hip!

" You two know what to do so hop to! "

She turned to Twist and took a deep breath looking a little more hangered then before but she could still keep things going as it were.

" Those two will keep the patients orderly... at least until things get a little less crazy--- need anything else? "

Jewel was trying to focus on the two's conversation and could see the panic in there voices. Well at least one of them was panicked and the other was trying to be rationale about it. That was good she could work with that, as it sounded like they didn't really want to get on GUN's bad side. But if GUN got there way she was sure they'd just arrest everyone on base and be done with it. She didn't have any idea what was going on at command yet, so she was sort of in the dark here. But she if she could convince these two it was there best interest to help her then, she might get out of this intact.

" I know you probably don't trust me... but i was just Clutches hostage. I can tell you he cut and run... and concerning your employ i believe i recall him mentioning you as expendable... right before he tried have me thrown in an incinerator... "

She was being honest with the two no matter how they might react she hoped the truth would be her best weapon.

" People like clutch are only in it for themselves. He just wanted Restorations assets, and he was using you two to get it. Which makes you both an accessary to grand Larceny. "

She tried to sit up but just made her head spin and her antenna drooped in response. She felt like she might get sick or worse right there on the spot!

" I doubt either of you realized what was going on... or worse you felt you had no choice. My offer stands... but ultimately the choice is yours. Do you want to go back to a life of crime, always on the run? or do you want to prove miss vanilla right... and that you two can do better..."

"I'll get them on the horn as fast as I can." Twist may not be in service anymore, though he still kept in contact with a lot of his buddies which had really moved up the ladder. Enough to where the lemur was sure they could make something work for him. "Though I can't promise they won't try to send any of their own medical staff here to oversee things. Hopefully I can get an old friend who's more laxed and won't overstep." He knew that when it came to medics they weren't the biggest fan of someone stepping on what one would consider their turf.

Twist then turned his attention to one of the nurses. "I suppose a list of all civilians injured. If I know on thing that hasn't changed is them doing a double check on anyone they let through." The lemur didn't know much about The Restoration besides what he heard so doubts they'd attempt to sneak any members out as an injured civilian, though one can never be too careful.

"Wouldn't hurt to add the level of injury they have to make sure anyone with more severe injuries are taken with a bit more priority to make sure they're safely transferred." Twist was well aware that improper transfer with an injured could make the problem worse, cause new ones, or even end a life. "Might be good to find someone on this side ready to help keep people in order. Once people hear they get to leave some might try to rush and that'll be a whole different problem."

"G.U.N is here?! We're so screwed! Of all the people who's attention we didn't want to get G.U.N was at the very top of the list! Those guys are ruthless! No way we can survive being taken in by them!" Rough and Tumble may have caused problems, though it was always FAR below anything to get the attention of G.U.N. Getting on their list is a good way to find yourself in an early grave.

"Whoa, hold on bro. G.U.N may be here, though there's no way to know for sure if they're coming after us too. After all, we were in those outfits all this time. I mean, for all they know we aren't even here." Tumble was clearly the more level headed of the two, though even he was sweating quite a bit at the thought of getting put on G.U.Ns list for being a threat. From what the skunk knew they shot first and asked questions pretty much never.

Rough would take a few breaths as Tumble did have a point. "Yeah, that's a good point bro. Just, G.U.N isn't something I want either of us to deal with, ever." The skunk would rather take the fall and have Tumble go free then both be on G.U.N's bad side. Now that he was calm he could focus on Jewel's strange offer. "We still work for Clutch. I mean, I think we do. He didn't fire us, right?"

"Nah, he didn't fire us bro. Not like we can call him and ask him too since he was the one who usually called us. Typically from a burner phone." Despite Tumble clearing seeming to have more brains then Rough they both were still a bit dumb. "Never been arrested without getting fired. Kinda weird he hasn't called us angrily shouting we're fired."

i've had this Ninjago x Evangelion/Mecha crossover au brewing in my head for years now, felt like revisiting it

Long post under the cut: Backstories, design notes and character lore

Mechs:

Unit-01 (WIP) : Lloyd's mech, supposed to resemble an Oni. It's primarily a dark purple with glowing green panels and orange accents, with 2 horn like antannae. It's 4 eyes are actually an LCD display. Unit-01's color scheme the same as from the source material, bc purple green and gold are plot relevant colors for Lloyd specifically. The weapons this unit uses are short-swords, plasma blasters, and it's bare fists(lol). This mech is prone to going berserk a lot, possibly due to it's pilot's mental instability.

(In NGE, the mech's are possessed by a spirit of their parents or loved ones, I'm indecisive on if Garmadon is the ghost in Lloyd's mech or Misako. Last time I was thinking about this au, Misako was possessing it, but i'm sort of leaning towards Garmadon again. idk idk.....)

Unit-02 (WIP): Built to resemble a samurai with dragon like elements that glow red. This mech is built for but land and undersea combat, making it the most versatile machine on the force. It's equipped with a retractable sword and an acid blaster. It's possessed by a former scientist named Nyad.

Pilots (and Cole):

Cole is a captain, (looking to be promoted to major) and is the head of the New Ninjago City base's combat division. He sort of a silly dude and while he takes his job really seriously, he's also prone to unprofessionalism. He personally oversees the pilots training and coaches them during fights. When Commander Garmadon and Assistant Head Wu refuse to take Lloyd in when he arrives at NNC, Cole decides to take the kid in himself and be the parental figure he doesn't have. Cole's got a complicated relationship with his own family, especially after his mother died saving him the Second Impact 20 years ago, now he vows to destroy all the darkness monsters that are invading.

Zane is sort of a mysterious guy. He's an artifical lifeform created specifically to pilot any mech but he usually fights in the prototype, Unit-00. Unit-01 doesn't seem to like him, and never responds to him. His suit is mostly grayscale, white armor, and light blue accents. His neural interface comes with a visor to help him see better. His primary relationships are Cole, Dr Pixal Borg, who is his personal doctor and (almost) confidant, Wu, who he has a father-son esque relationship with, and Lloyd his first true friend. He doesn't see much value in himself because he can always be replaced with a different copy, but his time with his friends starts to teach him otherwise

Nya and her supervising officer Kai are from Ignacia and joined the NINJA-go battle mech program through their connection with their parents, who were officers of the organization. But after a terrible accident following the Second Impact, they were left orphaned. Kai was too old to qualify as a pilot, but Nya was the perfect candidate. She began training at age 13, and became the strongest fighter on the force. Now at nineteen, the darkness monsters are now attacking and she (and her brother) are transferred to the New Ninjago City base, which seems to be the epicenter of the attacks, and now the the former solo-flyer has to learn to be a part of a team. She's a bit arrogant and prickly and a kindhearted friend to the other pilots, and she's got a bit of a crush on Junior Technician Jay Walker. Nya's suit design is definitely the most personalized primarily blue with grey, and darker blue and red accents with white armor, actually she ended looking a little like D.Va lol.

Lloyd, is the youngest pilot on the team now, but he's still a minor so he has to deal with the joys of school alongside his new life as a mech fighter. Having been unexpectedly summoned to Ninjago City by his estranged Uncle Wu and pressured into fighting the invading monster, Lloyd is apprehensive about his new double life, but this responsibility bestowed on him now means he now has friends and people who care about him, a far cry from the abusive boarding school he was abandoned at. Lloyd's a moody kid, with some anger issues and unresolved trauma at something terrible he witnessed when he was a young child, but he's also an empathetic kid who's willing to help everyone he meets. Lloyd has a sibling like rivalry with Nya, big brother(teetering on fatherly) relationship with Cole and Kai, a crush on the girl from school who punched him Akita, and really strained relationship with his parents and uncle. Beyond that he has a friendship with his mysterious colleague Zane that he doesn't really understand. Lloyd's suit is the most simple of the pilot suits, mostly green with white armor and gold accents. He didn't really think too much about it, other than asking Jay to make it green. His neural interface is also pretty simple, since he has an bizarrely high natural sync rate with his mech, which resemble little horns.

MISC Lore:

The second impact was an event where humanity fucked around and found out on the Dark Island and and entity called the Overlord awakened from hibernation, causing a near apocalypse that left Ninjago in an eternal heatwave. 20 years later these dragon-like monsters have started attacking trying to get to something being held deep below Ninjago City (source dragon? FSM as a dragon? firstbourne?? some kind of Dragon is under the base)

Zane promised Lloyd that he'll bring snowy winters back for him, and even though Lloyd thinks that was a rare moment of cheesiness from his friend, little did he know that Zane was going to cause an Ice Age during the climax.

Only people born after the second impact are viable candidates to pilot the NINJA mechs. When Kai learned of this he was furious that he couldn't be the one to avenge his family, and had to watch his sister fight and train instead. But in spite of his anger he made it a personal mission to get power in the organization and uncover the conspiracy behind the Second Impact and the attacking monsters.

Unit-00 is a prototype mech and isn't equipped for most combat scenarios, so Zane is primarily a long-range fighter and sniper. Zane might be replaceable to the force but Unit-00 isn't. Unit-00 was originally designed by Dr. Julien, but the man went mad and under mysterious circumstances, he was found dead inside it's entry plug alongside Zane's original iteration, Echo. After that incident, testing began on it, the original test pilot was a 24 year old, Morro, who was personally recruited by Wu, but the synchronization failed and disaster struck again, ending with Unit-00 going berserk, and another casualty. A similar incident happened with Zane, and later Lloyd, though they survive. Wu just needs to learn that Unit-00 really hates new pilots, and Zane is the only successful pilot for it.

Unit-01 is also a very testy machine, it only likes Lloyd, and goes berserk if it feels that Lloyd is in danger. Otherwise it doesn't respond to anyone else.

Cole and Kai might have hooked up in grad school, no one really knows for certain.

Pixal is the second Borg to join the organization, her father Cyrus Borg was one of the original researchers, and the person who designed the Geofront system that allowed the inhabited buildings in New Ninjago City to safely go underground and become a fortress on the surface. Pixal is more interested in the actual NINJA mechs and combat division research more than the civilian safety r&d, and she becomes the Head Scientist by the time the story begins.

Pixal the second in command to Cole, and her assistant is 23 year old genius Jay Walker, fresh out of an engineering degree and landed himself in the most insane secret government organization. Skylor and Dareth are the two other lead technicians. But Dareth's not too amazing at his job, admittedly.

The NINJA mechs aren't just machines,, they're enormous building sized cyborgs, and are actually alive creatures being held under armor. Unit-00 and 02 are cloned only from the dragon held under the Ninjago City base, but Unit-01 is cloned from the Overlord and the Dragon, making it a hybrid.

Throughout the story Cole and Kai begin to uncover a conspiracy orchestrated by the Commander and (reluctant accomplice Wu) and a mysterious council, with plans to destroy to world and rewrite reality, and for some reason Zane and Lloyd are at the center of it.

My Time In ONI, The Next 100 Pages

Tangle shrugged her shoulders and smiled at Kalak as she sort of agreed with her in a way. Few people who came into Restoration ever planned to fight, most got thrown into the battle against there will. She might be one of the few people who trained most of there lives to fight but--- that was in a ring, against people with similar mind sets. Nothing she trained for prepared her for facing down Eggmans machines!

" Eh i wouldn't sweat it! most of us learned through trial by fire! Just kinda got thrown into battle and figured it out as we went! That's War for you... so you ain't to far off of yer thinkin' "

" It's true... but also we aren't grunts. The Diamond Cutters were meant to be a strike force, highly trained and disciplined. We are the first in and hopefully the last out. The training sessions are meant to prepare us for the worst case scenarios... so we are far better prepared then any of us ever were when we started... Especially those like Duo who have alot to learn yet. "

Tangle just smiled at the idea of facing a dragon as it was always an exciting thought! She still had such vivid memories of fighting Metal i his final form, and how it took them all to gain victory! But she was so much stronger now then she was then!

" Ah No Dragons! though plenty of Legends of Dragon Mobians! dun know how true they are but golly it's an amazing thought isn't it! i wonder what they were like... "

Tangle though just grinned at Duo as that idea also excited her! but she was easy to excite! but she did wonder what Tween meant by different? Well she'd find out eventually! Maybe with flora's portals she could just get a ride back and forth that way until Tails ring was ready for more practical use.

" Hehe, Well i'll have to check in on tween when i go back! but anyway let's go find Whisp! and let you stretch your legs a bit, besides i'm sure Lani has her super important commander stuff to do! "

She motioned for Kalak to follow holding the double doors open for her so it was a bit easier to get out and down the stairs. Having that long strong tail did lend itself well to the Lemur, and gave her a fair few advantages. Like holding doors for her friends! and jump rope with cream! It didn't take the two long to run into Whisper either as she was already on her way back to the barracks and paused with a tilt of her head at Tangle and Kalak.

" HEEEY WHISP! guess whose joining the team! "

She motioned to Kalak! like she were showing off a brand new puppy!

" EH EH! what do you think! apparently she's like super skilled to! hey... whats with you wolves and being so skilled anyways... it's like some kind of conspiracy! "

Whisper was rather distracted with her coffee but just raised an eyebrow at Tangle and shook her head. Before glancing up to the taller wolf. Though it wasn't by a bunch it was enough to notice. She was at least a head and a half taller then Whisper. But she didn't have an issue with it, and gave the two a thumbs up in approval. Which is as good as she could do without her voice.

Well that was easy! one down 2 to go!

"Maybe I'm think too much like a wolf. Training was always tough in Wolf Country, and being one the smaller side of things made it a lot harder." Kalak guessed she was used to be thrown into the fire and fighting her way to survival than doing small, safe, and controlled tests. The wolf was realizing she was painting her country in a bad light, though if she was being honest, it was pretty bad. That's why she needed more people to sign, though knew she had to wait right now.

"Oh, I was assuming dragons were common in here after that. Well, I suppose that's a good thing. Dragons in Flora are very aggressive, though you can tame them if you get one at a young age." Kalak then lightly hit her head. "I almost forget, Tween said the dragon you name is a bit... different? I don't know what she meant, though said whenever you visit Flora again, she'll show you." That's all the wolf knew about it.

"I can, though I'm hoping it's somewhere more open. It's mainly squeezing through the doors that's hard." Kalak was fine walking on all fours, though these doors were really making her back a tad bit sore with how she had to wiggle and squeeze through them. Thank the Gods she did have a single use teleport stone to get out of the base quickly if she was starting to lose her cool.

"I'll follow Lanolin's advice and wait until we're outside and away from the base to summon my pet. Though I'm sure you'll like him a lot." Kalak didn't want to make anyone angry by summoning her pet inside the base when Lanolin said to wait until they were outside and away from it.

Kote’s House

Kote’s first house is a pathetic thing, and he is incurably proud of it. The twi’lek he purchased it from very evidently could not make up his mind what to do with a man that grinned while he haggled, but it was the first time Kote had haggled over a purchase of his very own. He had thoroughly enjoyed it.

The house is built for one being, and a compact being at that, but Kote doesn’t have much. Moving in is quick, and most of his efforts during the next few days after go into attempting ambitious repairs for things he doesn’t know the first thing about. 

His plumbing is an issue, he knows. Something is getting blocked up. Somehow while trying to fix the kitchen tumbler, his fresher spout explodes.

He hadn’t kept his new house a secret from anyone by any means, but it is still surprising when Fox barges in through his jamming front door. He finds Kote on the floor in his cramped kitchen while the fresher rains water in the adjacent room, laughing so hard and so crippled with delight that he can’t get up.

He tries to explain how wonderful it is —

“I-I have to fix my plumbing on my own, vod—”

—but judging by Fox’s single raised eyebrow he knows it doesn’t translate.

Fox, it turns out, is moving into the neighborhood. Kote doesn’t ask about the house Fox already has — the house he has visited, which is very nice and fancy — or point out that Fox’s contract there cannot possibly be up, which begs the question of why he’s here in Kote’s neighborhood — except that Kote already knows the answer to that question. So he doesn’t ask.

Fox doesn’t show him any grace or forbearance, though.

“Don’t even know how to fix a damn pipe, front lining show-off—” His brother snarls, but it is muffled; his top half had to go down beneath the floor they’d pried up to get at the plumbing issue.

“So that’s what they had you doing all these years.” Kote says, because he really is in a criminally good mood. He barely ducks the foot-long pipe Fox throws at his head, feeling giddy.

He makes dinner that night in thanks. Fox stays, ostensibly because now that he’s fixed the fresher he intends to use it, because his new house isn’t hooked up properly yet to all the supply lines and power grids. 

They choke on homemade tiingilar (vode-style; Kote can’t pretend at the real thing yet) so heavily spiced it’s got grit to it that sticks between the teeth. It’s disgusting, but Cody had bought fifteen different spices and while usually he likes to keep his approach to the unknown more cautious, more methodical, he couldn’t think of anything he wanted to do more than use them all at once for the first time. 

Wolffe joins them not long after; brings a few others along by recommending the apartment he picks out, so that soon most of the complex is taken up by vode, Kote hears, but he doesn’t visit yet. Everyone’s too busy coming over to his house, it seems; filling up his kitchen and asking why he hasn’t fixed the trash disposal yet, why he doesn’t have a couch, doesn’t he know they’re all the rage among civilized folk?

Kote fixes the trash disposal with Rex, who is better at it than he is but says it’s only due to Skywalker’s influence on managing all things mechanical. 

“How is Skywalker?” Kote asks, and gets more than he bargained for over the next hour. At first he’s a bit off-put, because he’s trying to get dinner sorted again and he’s not been very fond of Skywalker at the best of times, but Rex is snorting out a story and laughing and it’s contagious, so Kote just resigns himself and settles in to enjoy.

Skywalker has little ones, now. Obi-Wan is the only one that can get them to sleep. Ahsoka is distressed; she knows better, but every instinct in her is apparently in agony over the little ones’ inability to eat meat yet. She obsesses over nutrients in their diet — which, given what tiny natborn humans primarily ingest in the early stages, makes for some slightly awkward conversations.

Rex helps with dinner afterward, and they take turns being incredulous over natborn baby facts, shoving around one another in the tiny, uncomfortable kitchen.

“What’s your next project?” Rex asks at one point, glancing sidelong with a cheeky look, and Kote levels his vegetable knife at him (he’s got a vegetable knife. Specifically for vegetables. It’s a very new concept). 

“I make everyone’s dinner on Tuangsdays.” He says. “I’m productive.”

Rex’s sharp-toothed grin turns thoughtful. “Yeah” He says. “Everyone loves coming here, you know. You could be the new 79’s.”

Kote knows. He plans and plots, and puts more work into researching recipes than he’s put into any research whatsoever in months. It feels a bit like coming out of a shore leave; his thoughts quicken and his excitement grows. He hunts down a market. He brings a bag. He shops, bargains, and returns victorious.

He sends out a few comms., and can’t help but shake his head and grin at how different the responses are. 

What a marvelous idea, Cody. His general — ex-general — says.

Yus pls, Ahsoka sends back, with some sort of strange tooka vidclip that dances with wiggly gyrations Kote can only assume indicate excitement.

Where is your house, Anakin says, blunt and to the point, and Kote can appreciate that. 

He sends the address. He cooks all day. The sun sets, and Fox and Wolffe arrive, already bickering, Rex trailing behind with a long-suffering look sent to Kote, begging commiseration.

“Ugh, don’t you ever stop smiling, now?” He gripes when Kote just grins at him. 

“Nope,” Kote says, unrepentantly.

He leaves the soup on the stove, simmering, and takes his cup of caf to the window. He leans on it, breathing in cool air, and just listens — listens to the squabbling as Wolffe gets on Fox’s case for not washing Kote’s dishes correctly the last time they visited. Hears the soft thumps of Rex sneaking into the cramped room Kote has set aside for plants and the sole pet he has; a pastel goullian, fins swaying ever so gently, permanent scowl in place. Thinks he catches, distantly, the sound of his remaining three guests (Padme couldn’t attend, and had made him feel very awkward by how thoughtfully she apologized for it) plodding up the hill. 

“Cody!” Ahsoka cries, coming into view and waving. 

Kote’s cheeks have stopped aching from all the smiling he’s gotten used to, so it’s easy to let another through.

Last week, Hegseth wrote a memo in which he banned transgender people from joining the military and restricted the use of some learning materials in Defense Department schools.

Military families protesting the Defense Department's anti-DEI push heckled Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth on his arrival at United States European Command headquarters in Germany on Tuesday.

On a visit to the U.S. military’s key European military hub in Stuttgart, Hegseth was booed by around two dozen people who live at the base in an apparent demonstration against the policies currently being implemented by the Trump administration. 

The demonstrators at the short protest repeatedly chanted “DEI,” apparently in a reference to the recent ban Hegseth has placed on some books in defense department schools. Hegseth last week ordered the restriction of learning materials covering subjects that included psychology and immigration in DOD schools.

Every fiber in her body screamed for her to take him out and stop listening to his venomous lies. Yet she didn't and she kept on listening to each and every word. Like poison it seeped into her mind, and tainted her thoughts. For a moment, just a moment she imagined what it would be like. To have power like Sonic or Shadow, and how she might use such power. She could finally get revenge for her families deaths! She could finally put an end to the endless wars that raged across mobius! No more betrayals and hidden truths! She could finally put and end to every wrong this world ever produced!

She knew if Maggie was here she'd scream for her to stop listening, beg her to walk away. But there was just a part of her that couldn't do it. A part of her that WANTED so much to be that hero that saved everyone. To make sure that no one had to suffer like she did, to cry in the dark alone as she had.

That was the promise she made to herself... the reason why she joined restoration.

" Risks I can handle--- but i'm not a fool Starline. I know what you did to Surge and Kit. You ruined there minds, tore there lives apart and made them into someone else. How do i know you wouldn't do the same to me? "

Her grip tightened on his throat though not enough to keep him from talking.

" I need more then a promise or your sick words! i need something, more then your word you won't turn on me. "

And just like that, she embraced the darkness in her heart. She let it out, let it take over. She no longer cared what happened to her as long as she could save the world from evil like Eggman!

She'd do it...

The sound of stone and tiles cracking caused the platypus to almost squeak out as he felt the fear bubbling even more in his gut. But...he had her! She was willing to at least listen when it came to what sort of strength he could give her, though she was right that there would most likely be a price given all of this...

What he had in mind for her were a set of upgrades that would allow for her to actively use devices such as the Dynamo Cage to its utmost fullest potential. His hypothesis was that Lanolin, despite not having powers of her own to his knowledge, could have some awakened through enough physical and mental training.

Meta-Mobian Experimentation was what he dubbed it.

"Surge has her strength because I engineered it to be so. A mixture of biomechanical parts and a light dosage of the Metal Virus in an inert state? It's the perfect recipe. You on the other hand? Well, I suppose I could give you a similar treatment but I had something more practical in mind! Do know that it may cause physical exertions far beyond what you may be capable of..."

But with a slight gleam of his glasses, Starline seemed to smile even wider, like a very literal faustian devil ready to strike a deal...

"But you're already willing to put yourself at risk...after all, you have nothing left to lose~"

With a small raise of his hand, he held it outward toward Lanolin, ready to give her that little ray of hope in her tortured soul.

"Think you can lead a team?"

The Sheep picked up the picture frame from her desk. her eyes drifting across the picture of the Diamond Cutters. Whisper, Tangle and herself standing in front of the office. It was before Duo joined them before the hell that was clutch and his games. She placed the picture in the box with a deep sigh. This was the end of Restoration wasn't it? They'd been her family for so long now and, she'd come to rely on them and yet--- here she was packing up with no idea where she would go from here.

Home? to what an empty shell of a burned out farm house? to pick up the pieces she left behind? Maybe she could join GUN? they were still out there fighting despite everything. She wiped another tear from her eyes, as the guilt of what she'd done to silver still felt so heavy. Despite his accepting her apology she had a feeling he'd never look at her the same again. She picked the box up in her arms and sighed deeply a feeling of loss washing over her.

" I just... don't know where i go from here... i feel like i failed everyone... again..."

She was aware of how close Surge and Kit was, though hearing the conflict in the background did make he stifle a laugh. Seemed Tangle had her hands full with Kit, though him being worried was understandable. He didn't have a soul in the world outside of her, and if he lost her who knows what he'd do. She wanted to quell his fears and let him know Surge was going to be ok. So far she seemed to be back to normal just unconscious.

📱She's right here with me Kit, She's sleeping, but seems to be ok now. Not sure what caused it, Hoping she'll tell me when she wakes up. But i'm right here with her ok? I won't let anything happen to her i promise 📱

She didn't want him to come here, mostly because she was worried something similar would happen to him or worse. Plus it would be Surge's call to tell him. Now that he knew she was ok time to get some information from him.

📱 I don't think you coming here is needed, in fact i wager by the time you arrived we'd be on our way home. I know its hard to sit and wait when you are worried about someone you care for. But trust me, i'll bring her home as soon as she wakes up. "

She glanced over to Surge wondering if she should say more but she seemed fine so far. But what if she wasn't? She only knew so much about them and her knowledge was quite limited. She needed to know more but she wasn't sure she could ask without making kit want to rush out here. She sighed and opted to keep her trap shut till surge was awake.

📱I'll call with an update every hour and if i think somethings off i'll call you right away alright? till then you can monitor her from your end right? just keep an eye on her there and if something changes just call me alright? if she's not on her feet with an hour or two i'll bring her to you 📱

"He's got my ear! He's got me ear!" Tangle yelled as Kitsunami had taken drastic action and was currently biting her ear. Thank Gaia Lanolin spoke up and he rushed over to her. "Geez, could've just asked me to take the thing out," the lemur said, rubbing her ear. She almost missed the worried look the sheep gave, though she had hopes they were getting along so gave a thumbs up.

"Where's Surge?! Is she okay?! Do I need to come there?! Her vitals were all over the place!" Kitsunami was clearly freaking out right now as he yelled into the comms. The fennec wished he had made a second tracker incase he needed to head out and take care of Surge. He's clearly ready to go, though didn't have a location as to where they were. At least her vitals were back to normal.

"Hey, try to relax a bit Kitsunami," Tangle said, though was keeping her distance as she did NOT want to get bit by him again. "Whisper can't talk, remember? Giver her just a second to actually type out what happened and if she needs your help, okay?" The lemur hoped that would be enough to at least get the fennec to calm down a little bit.

Kitsunami was still worried about Surge, mainly because he saw just how crazy her vitals went compared to the other time's she used any new powers, though he was smart enough to know Tangle was right. The fennec had to wait for Whisper to type what was going on. So he just stared at the comms, waiting for the reply. Seemed like he wasn't going to move a muscle until he saw the reply.
